Easy and interesting class. Only 2 tests, and a few assignments. Teacher is laid back, funny, and interesting.

Encourages students to participate. Very helpful and makes things enjoyable. Wish there were more like him.

Great teacher, easy going, will take late assignments with only a little penalty. Final is hard but it doesn't matter as long as you do the major paper and group project you will pass.

Online Course. Grade was based on journal entires, discussions & turning in your papers on time. Mid term was ill! Very difficult. If you hate reading, then don't take this class. Overall easy class, teacher was very understanding

He is very understanding. If you are like me and things come up then you should take him. Also the work is easy, there is much to read though you will learn plenty in his class also. If you need help he will make sure he help you to understand.

Cake class. Yeah, he may tell a lot of uninteresting personal stories, but the content of the tests and quizzes are covered. If you fail this course, I strongly suggest you drop out of school and become a plumber.

Nice guy, easy class. Hes an easy grader on research paper and curves on tests. Not a boring class, pretty interesting and usually holds you until the last minute. Nice teacher and understanding.

Prof. Frame seems to know everything there is to know about mythology. He is very sweet, and tells a lot of interesting stories about his travels and his family. Excellent teacher who tries to remember all his students names in all his classes. With his background, he made Asian HUM more interesting then I had thought it would be. Grades more towards the research papers than his quizes. Uses powerpoint for lecture notes(great)and uses book & notes for quizes. Highly recommend for any HUM.

Prof. Frame is a WONDERFUL professor. He made the class very interesting, and is very knowledgable about the subject. Most of the grade is made up of 2 short research papers, and he grades them easy. He's also lenient about deadlines, and lets you e-mail assignments that you didn't do before class. You definitely won't regret taking his class.

Frame is a very good professor. He is very fair. I had him for Mythology and Asian Humanities and each class was fun and interesting. He mainly grades on research papers, tests are not important. Notes are also a big part but he lets you turn them in via e-mail. You will not regret having him as a professor. I just wish he taught more classes.

he is a pretty good teacher...i liked him AND his class alot. it was VERY intersting and he did a GREAT job explaining the cultures. the only thing is he is kinda picky when he grades his papers, (only 3) but he tells u the requirements he wants. i think if u take asian humanities...u should take it with frame!

Very Good Teacher!! You can definently tell he enjoys what he does. He also brings his world wide travel into the class room. You have to write a series of papers on stories you read in the class and have both a mid-term/final that he helps prepare you for! All teachers should be as dedicated as him! He's a cool dude and make learn insteresting about the different cultures. however, he can sometimes be mean when it comes to his papers. so talk to him and really try to understand exactly what he wants. other than that, take his class!!! you won't regret it!

Great Prof! Took him in summer, easy class. You do need to read the stories in order to write a really good paper. Lectures on powerpoint, loves interaction between students, lets you speak your mind. Also loves to tell stories. Showed us some old videos, but also interesting. Talked about his son and 2 daughters a lot, very proud dad. :)

Mr. Frame's is a sweetheart. He is a very cultured individual and really pushes you to use you imagination and to think outside the box. He is well traveled and has many different insights into life. Great teacher. Lots of reading though...

Prof. Frame was really nice. I had his class one night a week so attendance was mandatory. There's alot of reading (but they're good stories!) so if you don't like reading, don't take the class. Prof. Frame makes it fun because he adds his own experiences to it.

I took his online class in Second Life. It was pretty easy. All you have to do is write notes every week from the readings and do six analysis papers. The only thing about it was that the class was extremely boring. Also, I didn't like the fact that he would show these 30 minute videos in class when not everyone could see them.

Professor Frame & the IDH program are awesome! He grades very fairly, has passion for teaching, and his lectures are really fun and interesting. He's an all around great guy, very intelligent & friendly. A+++ Professor!If you're on the fence about taking an IDH Course; don't hesitate.

Professor Frame is one of the best Valencia has to offer. His passion for teaching and desire for student success lands him at the top of any list. He probes with thought-provoking questions, and if that doesn't do the trick he doesn't mind playing Devil's advocate to get discussions going. One of my absolute faves for sure!

IDH is a hard class if you are a busy person and have other committments other than school.I go a B in the semester. I had to write 5papers total 2 with Dr.Frame.He's easy and fair on grading the papers.He responds to emails whithin 24 hours or less. He is always available to help if you need it.Take him for other classes if you dnt wanna take IDH.

I took him online and its not bad! 6 Myth analysis (750 word)papers and notes due every week before class in virtual world starts. his lectures can be very interesting and he is so smart. he's been everywhere! we even go on virtual world field trips! if you like humanities, i would definitely take him. pretty easy A!

I took the honors "Second Life" course which was WAAAAAAY more fun and interesting than a regular online class. He really loves teaching and cares about making the class a good experience. If you do poorly, it's because a) you can't write a paper and refuse to get help, b) you don't do any of the assignments or c) you don't care.

Easily one of the best professors I have ever had. Very knowledgable on the subject. His lectures are often boring, but its easy to get him to like you as long as you show interest and interact and ask questions in class. It is VERY easy to pass this class. A lot of writing/typing but if you do it and follow sirections, you WILL pass.Even an A or B

The best teacher of IDH. The lectures are very very clear and well explained. He gives us all the support we need to write a good essay. No exams on this class, only assignments and essays. HIGHLY recommended!

He's a very nice professor, but can be a little boring at times. He loves what he teaches which is always a good thing. Homework is due each week, notes submitted through blackboard of the book he co-wrote, there are three essays, and the final is multiple choice. He lets you know what exact terms will show up, so it's a piece of cake.

Frame is a wealth of knowledge, and he will share that knowledge with you if you are willing to listen. I look up to him both as a wonderful professor and a wonderful person. I can only speak from my experience with him in IDH, but I imagine that he would be a good choice for any course that he instructs. Come to class prepared to learn.

Professor Frame is outstanding. He is not as focused on MLA as Professor Lippitt is but is more so concerned with the content and how well the questions are answered. His questions on BlackBoard are usually simple enough but many require discussion. IDH1110 has 6 essays total and requires 3 books, 9780205782154, 9780078038266, and 9780486278049.

Picky about MLA. Expects 2 pages of notes each week on readings. You will read the entire book in the semester, so it's tons of busy work. 3 papers and a multiple choice final. Not terribly interesting but you will see two excellent movies.

Trust me he DOES focus a lot on MLA in this class. Some actually failed the class entirely. The final is only 10% weighted. Your main grades are from reading the chapters and writing 2 pages each week about them and the 3 papers on Hindu India, China, and Japan. It is not an easy A. Your papers better be good to get an A. You have to work hard.

Took him over the summer for Mythology. Really easy class. All of the work that is due (watch two videos, and write 2 paragraphs about two questions from the book) are due online. 3 papers due about 1200 words. Super easy, I basically did work for other classes while I was in his class. No tests or quizzes.

Awesome professor who gives interesting lectures, talks interesting stuff about his life, well educated and wise guy. It was definitely a fun class. I have recommended it to my friends. There are not too many essays, just three specifically and easy homework every Wednesday. The final is a group presentation not too complicated.

A sweet old man. I took him for mythology. He likes hearing students opinions so feel free to interrupt during lectures and do ask questions. There is 1 assignment per week consisting of half a page each for 2 questions plus 2-3 videos posted on Blackboard, and a total of 3 essays each 1200 words (about 4.5 pages long).

I took Professor Frame for IDH 1 & IDH 2. It was the best experience of my college career yet. He is friendly and knowledgeable. Both classes were challenging and required a lot of critical thinking. Wish he could have continued in my future studies with the IDH program. I really enjoyed Professor Frame! Will remember these courses forever!

Taking this class now over the summer, and its not too bad. There's an assignment due every Tuesday and Thursday. 3 papers and no tests and no quizzes. The class is like story time so it's hard not to fall asleep. But overall, he is a nice older man who is passionate about this subject.

By far my FAVORITE professor. Great personality and makes class very interesting, especially with his stories of traveling and experiences. He is someone that I look up to. Definitely a man who really knows how to live life!

However, please talk with him because there are some sensitive subjects and videos that may or may not make you uncomfortable. Highly recommend getting that information so you are prepared. He's great for Asian Hum. He's traveled there so he knows what he's teaching. 3 essays that with lots of research,one will do good. He is there to help if you are struggling. Book is needed as there are weekly assig. His lectures are clear. No tests, one short final exam (study for that one!). Do take him!

The lectures are very interesting (at least for me). Gaining knowledge about the eastern world. The writing for the essays does have requirements, but if you're lucky enough, you can get a rewrite for your first essay to fix your errors. Often, he is available during his office hours and a joy to talk to. Amazing professor with actual experience.

I took Professor Frame for Music Appreciation and he made the class enjoyable by bringing in modern music and videos because this class is more of a classical composers class. There are only 2 test a mid term and a final which he provides everything you need to know on his powerpoints. Easy A for a humanities class.

I took Professor Frame's class online, and thoroughly enjoyed it! He always gives great feedback and gets your grades back quickly. I personally found his lectures interesting and humorous. There is a good amount of reading every week, so non readers beware.

Took this professor for a Mythology class by far one of the best teaches I've had. His homework was every easy. You would just answer 3 questions based on your reading and 2 questions based on a video he would post. That's all the homework he assigned a week. Never got a test in his class. Final is just like the study guide

I took Online Mythology, this class is too easy. No tests and no quizzes! Just a lecture summary and questions once a week and one essay towards the end. Take him and pass with flying colors!

This class was so easy, & he is such a lenient and easy grader, there is no way you can fail the class. As long as you do all the work assigned, you're good as gold. Weekly Course Work: Watch lecture and take notes, watch videos (2) & write half a page summary, read assigned myth stories & answer 3 questions on them. 1 essay & no tests or quizzes.

Good knowledgeable professor. Although their lectures are usually very interesting, his voice is a little monotone which makes me sleepy at times. Still, this professor cares a lot about his students and one can notice how passionate he is about the topic. No tests nor quizzes at all, only three 1200-word essays.

Lectures became extensive and attendance is a grade but super easy class if you're looking for a humanities course. Two papers and a final he curves by class and it is only 10%. Stories are very interesting to read so homework was something to look forward to.

Love this guy. Very well traveled and so he knows what he's talking about. He loves to brag about himself and his children, but it adds to his charm. As far as the class itself, prepare to read alot. These stories are pretty long and you'll have to read them weekly. The assignments themselves are not hard, just time consuming. Keep up with them.

Weekly assignments: read stories, answer question(1/2page for 3 question); write a post on discussion and reply to 4 students; watch the videos and write summaries (1/2page for each); and watch the lecture and write summary (2 pages)

Professor frame is a great professor. He's a very generous grader, if it shows that you actually put in the effort to read the stories. There are 2 1200+ word papers and both are easy if you take the time to put in the work.

For honors, no exams whatsoever. You have an assignment due every week based on reading and videos, usually 3 questions and 2 vids. 3 essays and 1 final which consists of a group presentations(10% of grade). Really knows his stuff when it comes to mythology, very inspiring and great man!

I took Prof Frame during the six week summer semester and I have to say the workload nearly killed me! Every week you have two discussions and two lengthy assignments that require you to watch a 30 minute (at minimum) lecture video while taking two pages worth of notes and answer some q's. Final is a 1200 word essay. Take him, but not during b term

Does attendance in class, group discussion in class. 2 essays and gives amazing feedback, great lectures but sometimes can be boring depending on the day. Introduces you to all mythology and is very compassionate. Take him even online you won't regret it.

I loved to have professor Edward M. Frame as my teacher for HUM- 2310. He provides us the textbook so you do not have to buy anything. I took him as an online class and we had an assignment due each Wednesday. His lectures were long videos but they were VERY interesting. He gives great feedback too. TAKE HIM, HE IS AN AMAZING TEACHER!

One of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His classes are made of lectures and really interesting and engaging class discussions. He has changed my world point of view through his multiple travel stories that you will get throughout a lecture. One paper due at the end of the class, otherwise, weekly reading. TAKE HIM!!

Such a sweet Professor! He has so many stories and experiences to share which were really impactful and really made the class special. Definitely changed my viewpoint on the world. Be prepared to do weekly readings which are not too strenuous, just be prepared for the one research paper.

There are no exams for the course, and assignments are always due on Saturdays. Its roughly 3 questions per assignment and 2 lecture summary. The only issue I had was that he said the summarys only had to be 2 pages, but he would get on you if you didnt cover all details. Sometimes the assignment would be 8-10 pages.

This professor does give a pretty generous amount of homework but its not that hard, after a while it can get a little annoying though. You have to do a discussion, watch a lecture video and take 3 pages of notes, and read a chapter and answer 3-4 questions on it every week. Its not hard to pass this class just do your work. Professor Frame has been my favorite professor ever. He makes the class so interesting it is actually easy to complete all the assignments. There are no exams in the class. We do the same thing every week. A discussion, a lecture summary, and answer four questions from the book. He is very funny and gives amazing feedback on every assignment.

Professor Frame was an amazing teacher. From a professor's standpoint, he gives really great feedback and I am so surprised at how thorough he is with his comments which I really enjoyed. The class was online but I honestly learned so much from his weekly lectures on each culture and their stories. It's quite a bit of writing so just be wary.

Honestly this class is so easy as long as you do the weekly assignments. Theres 3 assignments a week which honestly don't take long unless its the notes. He allows late work but with points off (which is generous compared to other professors). He is a very nice man and I would take his class again.

I really enjoyed the class, the lectures are a bit long and necessary to complete the assignments but they are pretty easy. He is an easy grader and gives you fantastic feedback. For humanities, he onlys assigns notes ( 2 pages) with lecture videos and 3-4 analysis questions based on the reading and the best part about this class is that HE DOES NOT ASSIGN TESTS OR QUIZZES. Professor Frame is probably the kindest professor I have ever had. His feedback on my assignments is always motivating and kind. Usually three assignments per week. During the semester, there is an essay to write and the topics to choose from are really interesting. Prof Frame is really knowledgeable and his lectures contain a lot of great info.

Only 3 types of assignments every single week with the exception of one research essay that was very easy. The assignments are small discussion posts, notes on lecture videos, and answering questions from readings. No tests or quizzes at all and an extremely easy class if you manage your time. Leaves comments and feedback on every assignment!

Made an account just for this. I would take his class a million times over if I got the chance. As long as you get your work done on time and read you're good to go. Out of all my classes, I would run to do his work first. There's no stress, no pain NOTHING. Do the work and you will pass. I love him so much. You will not regret it!! 100/10

AMAZING! I've taken two classes just so I could have him as a prof. Super clear grading criteria and SUPER consistent. No midterm, final, or project. Three assignments a week that are the same each week. Tuesday's a discussion, Thursday's are notes on his lecture (interesting), and Saturday's are test based questions (3-4). Long, quick feedback.

Professor is clearly passionate about the subject. 1 discussion due Tuesday, 1 lecture assignment due Thursday, 1 reading assignment due Saturday. Always gives feedback on work. Page/word requirement always for lecture and reading assignment. No finals or tests, just 1 essay during middle of course. Wasnt a fan for all the writing but wasnt bad.

Professor Frame is extremly knowedgable about this topic and is very passionate about it. The work was very managable. 1 assignment a week with around 4-6 questions (based on the online textbook) which required half-page answers. There was only 1 test the whole semester which was the final. Very understanding and clearly cares about his class.

One of my favorite professors at Valencia. I am in the honors Mythology class and there is a ton of reading and writing. Watch 2 short videos and a paper each, 1 lecture video and a 2 page paper. There is also reading and papers for each question & discussion questions w/ 4 responses. I still loved everything I learned and he had great feedback.

Passionate about mythology and has personal experience around the world which he shares in his lectures, he really cares about his students and appreciates detailed work. There isn't a midterm or final, but there are many writing assignments each week to make up for that, so as long as you have the time, I highly suggest you take this class!

Do not take this class if you have more than 1 class or a full time job. This class is super easy as long as you do all the writing. Yes there are a lot of writing assignments, and only 2 exams. Even if you don't pass the exams as long as you did the writing assignment you'll end up with a grade B.

I really admired this professor. There was always a set schedule for assignments, one discussion every Tuesday, one lecture every Thursday, one reading assignment every Saturday. It kept me very organized and I felt like it was very easy to keep up with these assignments. There are no test necessarily but there is one short-ish essay.

READ THIS PLEASE! It is a VERY (cannot stress enough) heavy workload. I am taking four classes, I almost dropped this class after realizing every single week we have to watch 3 videos, one usually an hour long and write at least 4 pages (I usually need 10 PAGES to get the content). We also need to answer 4 questions a page each reply. He's nice tho

The class was very lecture heavy, but they were very interesting and typically became class discussions. The weekly assignments were due the same days and didn't take too long. Professor Frame was very kind and understanding if you missed a day, but attendance does impact your grade greatly.

Weekly discussion board, straightforward writing assignments, and lecture notes. The reviews don't lie, there's a lot of writing that comes with this class. The course content is entertaining, sometimes the prompts were actually quite fun. Either way, it's refreshing to have a professor who is truly passionate about the subject they teach.

Professor Frame is passionate about mythology and shares his global experiences. The class has a consistent weekly structure - no tests, just writing assignments. unstuck ai was a great tool for prepping. Highly recommend!
