Dr. Creppy is one of the best professors I've had. I took him for ECO 201 & 202. He doesn't tolerate "bad apples". Do your work and turn them in on time. Quizzes and exams are straight from lecture which he presents in powerpoint & students have access to them. I learned a lot from his classes. Very friendly, helpful and understanding.

This class was one of the best that I have taken in college. I have had very few profs that are willing to do so much to explain and clarify the lessons for students. The prof put an extraordinary effort into his teaching. I would highly recommend this prof and would be excited to take another one of his classes in the future!

I took Econ 201 with Dr. Creppy and he was fantastic. Economics is not an easy subject to begin with but he explained everything so clearly. If you're still having trouble, he will always make time to help you. I have a new found interest in econ because of him. I can promise you'll be very happy with him as a teacher!

Dr. Creppy was very easy!! All of our tests were online and you could do that at home. Applied the course material to real life, so it was actually interesting. Reviewed what was on every test before we took it so it was hard to do bad. Would highly recommend Dr. Creppy!!!! He's the BEST!!

At first I didn't think I would like his class but I ended up loving it and him! He was funny and as long as you attend class and put in an effort, you will do well. If you want a class where you don't have to show up or try, this is not the teacher for you. He taught me so much and is not obsessed with following the syllabus.

Dr. Creppy is fabulous! I have an English degree and needed Macroeconomics for teaching. I thought I would be totally lost, but he kept it interesting and relevant - especially in today's economy with a Presidential election. Attendance and participation are critical. If you do your homework - you can't lose. I highly recommend this professor.

This professor is not just the best economics teacher. He is what a professor should be. Friendly, funny and really enjoys his class. He would make everything easy on his students. I would definitely recommend him to anybody who is taking economics at NOVA. If you have a brain and the well to learn than this class is an easy A .

He is good at what he does and wants to help his students.I understood everything from class, did not need to study at home at all(but you have to pay attention!!).If you do your homework(super easy) take the online exams (easier) and participate in class(don't annoy him)you are sure to get an A. I recommend taking his classes but only if you are serious about learning. He will call on you in class, however, he goes over everything he expects you to know. Dr. Creppy was one of my best professors at NOVA. He is super helpful. If you need to turn in a late assignment and you write him an email with your reason, he takes it into consideration and will work with you to give you as much time as you need. Class is every other week, and the work load is easy, just talk in class he loves that. Great teacher

RUDEST PROF EVER!Extremely condesending & arrogant. He constantly puts students on the spot in class and humiliates them if they do not know the answer to the question. This guy really knows what he's teaching you. A guranteed "A" if you attend his class and finish things on time. Exam questions are exactly from the hw. If he likes your class than he might even wave the final for you. TIP: ask him SMART questions, review the notes, answer him correctly (if not answerd correctly then you would piss him off)

Great professor, test and quizess are online. He does expect that you pay attention in class. overall, easy teacher quizess and tests are exactly from homework and if you perticipate in class he is willing to let to retake some quisses and tests if you ask him.

I took econ 201 and 202 with him. he's one of the BEST profs in the campus. pay attention in class, 80% of the work is done online. 20% is attendance/in class exercise.

Professor Creppy was one of my favorite professors. He is extremely helpful and is willing to. Although if you ask him a question that he already answered in class then he does not hesitate to say he answered it in class. All assignments are online - it's an easy A if you are willing to devote some time into the class.

I took this professor for macro and micro. He is a pretty good teacher when it comes to explaining. He wants you to study hard and he will give you the credit. However, he is bipolar and can sometimes become mad for nothing and give the whole class a tough time but most of the time he is cool and if you study well, you'll get an A. Great teacher!

Great teacher!Very forgiving and will give you extra tries (even on quizzes!) on the assignments. His accent is a little strong and he has a bad habit of pretending to know an answer when he clearly doesn't know it himself. His classses are entertaining and he wants to see you succeed though.

I didn't receive a great grade but still thought it was pretty easy. Prof Creppy is very approachable. If you ask him a question early or even ask him to go over something for the third time, he'll do because he wants his classes to have the best grades. Creppy is one of the best professors at Nova. He does have an accent but it was never an issue to me. The class requires hard work but if you do the work he will reward you. He gave us all 100s for the midterm and curved all other grades. If you don't do the work or show interest, then he will get angry and make it tough for everyone in class.

He's very clear about what he expects from you and what you should expect from him. If you just sit down, listen to him lecture, take notes on stuff he says more than once, you will be very well off. The homework is highly representative of what is on the quizzes and tests. The "scary professor" is an act. Stops after 3 weeks.

Highly educated, highly professional, and wore suits that looked like they cost more than my car. Has a cool accent. He will explain anything, at any time, for as long as you need to understand it. More importantly, he's just a good dude; if you express a legitimate interest in learning the material, he will accommodate just about any request.

He is absolutely amazing proff. He is very good and straight forward on making his points. The first week I thought he was rude and ignorant. He puts you on spot whenever he feels like, but only for good reason. He pays close attention to everyone in the class, and if you are one not to participate or speak more often, he makes sure you understand.

Extremely helpful. The online tests he gives over econlab are difficult, but somewhat of a "reality check" for how you are doing with the class. About 34 way through the semester he sits down each student individually to talk about how they are doing in the course, which shows how much he cares, despite the difficult material. Fantastic prof.

He resets everything. He was trying to be hard one but he is really nice. After class, he is the great professor l have met in NOVA. He is nice, really nice. l hated him when l took his first class but l went ahead to take 20 2 with him again. So you can tell, he is nice indeed. Pretty helpful too. Prof. Creppy will try to intimidate you by asking questions from the previous lecture. If you don't answer correctly he'll give a "pop quiz." However he doesn't actually grade these but he doesn't tell you that. As long as you show up to class and do the online homework and quizzes he will reset them at the end of the semester, he's a nice guy.

Dr. Creppy really does care about the success of his students, however, he will not put up with laziness or those who do not participate in the least. Read, do the assignments on MyEconLab, and STUDY. He has very informative lectures and will even sit down with you individually if you request the help, but do not expect to pass just by showing up.

Top Quality Professor

Dr. Creppy was a good professor. He is always there for his students. Be prepared to study hard in his class (especially in hybrid). The homework are a little on the easy side, but study hard because the tests are hard. He does reset assignments to give students the opportunity to earn a better grade. He has interesting stories that are relevant.

I made an account just to give a review for this professor. Creppy is a great professor. There is a lot of reading, but if you put the work in he will work with you. Retests are allowed. So a student's grade is only limited to their work ethic.

He's definitely a drill Sargent and demands the best of you which some people don't like but he really gets the best out of you, he will seem like a tough tough teacher but trust me he cares about his students and by demanding the most from you, he will make you a better student. Dr. Creppy is the man. I am so happy I took his 201 and 202 classes in Fall 2015 as he inspired me to become an economics major when I transferred. Just be respectful, actually engage in class, and do your work. If you meet him halfway, he'll support you the other half.

He weeds out the weak in the classroom. If you are lazy and don't pay attention you WILL embarrass yourself. However, if you love economics this is the perfect professor for you. He can be lazy at times by canceling class out of nowhere and the assignments are all online.

Dr. Creppy is a very intelligent and respectable professor. He does not put up with slackers, so you do have to put in the work. READ THE BOOK and DO THE HW. He's a tough teacher, but he knows what he's talking and he genuinely cares about the students. If you need any help, he will gladly be there for you. If you're in for Econ, he's the one.

Professor Creppy is a great teacher. He cares about the success of his students and wants us to actually learn rather than recite information. He has tons of experience and relates the lessons to real world examples, and is amazing at explaining. As long as you do the homework, as questions when you're confused, and follow directions, you're good.

Dr. Creppy is one in a million. I've had many professors throughout my college experience and I nearly lost hope of finding a professor that cares so much about a class. He is comparable to a teacher that you might find in one of America's top private schools. Luckily for you, he is at the Northern Virginia Community college. Work hard and study.

Professor Creppy is a phenomenal teacher. He is a hard teacher and only wants the best for his students. Put in the work and you'll do good. Be prepared to do reading outside of class about what you will learn in class. Always there to help when asked. Work hard and don't slack, you'll do great in this class! He's a great Professor! yes, he can seem intimidating but he really isn't. He is so intelligent and cares about the success of his student. He genuinely wants you to pass. However if you don't seem interested, distracted, or he catches you doing something you're not supposed to, you'll definitely have problems. Take the class, you won't regret it!

Professor Creppy's Econ 202 was not too difficult as long as you take good notes and practice. Creppy has a thick accent but give it a few classes and you'll understand him. A tough grader but is willing to help you if you are struggling. He cares deeply for his students and wants them to succeed which is rare to find in a professor these days.

Although he can be misunderstood, his one of the most genuine professors and does not ask a lot from his students. With common requests, like paying attention to class, he will make the class a breeze! No phone usage and he genuinely is understanding with circumstances as long as you reach out beforehand. Just do the easy hw and your set for an A.

Easily the best professor I've had during my time at NOVA. Makes the content clear and actually goes over it so that you can understand it ans not just memorize it. If you show him respect he'll show you the same. All of the homework is online and he just tried out a new thing for my class with no exams, midterm, or final which helped us out a lot.

Hes a good professor. His class is super easy and hes very understandable. Take him for ECO202 if you want an easy A.

Not a bad professor, will give you an A if you turn in your assignments and abide by the criteria when doing the projects. Lecture heavy and can be a bit snappy at times at students but overall not bad.

Don't pay attention to these negative reviews. Prof. Creppy is the one you want if you typically struggle with other economic courses. HW workload is light, get it done and you'll finish with an excellent grade and the same with the papers he assigns (3 to be exact). He cares about the subject and will help you during office hours. TAKE HIM!!

Dr. Creppy is one of my favorite teachers at NOVA. I have am taking him again for ECO this term. He is very knowledable and I like the way his class is set up - homework with mutliple attempts and no exams.

I took both ECO201 and ECO202 with Professor Creppy and I thoroughly enjoyed both classes. He made the class very enjoyable and he is very knowledgeable and you can tell he has a passion for Economics. He is not very test heavy. If you like Economics he will make you like it more.

I took Dr. Creppy for ECO201 and ECO202. Dr. Creppy is very knowledgeable on economics and is passionate about it too. He is always willing to answer questions and will spend as much time as you need to make sure you understand. He is also accessible outside of class and is responsive to emails. Dr. Creppy was my professor for both ECON201 and ECON202. He is an excellent professor who is more than qualified to be teaching economics. He values learning so paying attention and participating in class is important. Making sure students understand the concepts/information is something important to him so ask questions.

Prof Creppy was amazing. I took the summer online session. Class alsways ended early on a 3 hr session. Class ended 2 weeks before 6 weeks. He gives extra credit. Be prepared to answer whenever he does call your name. Overall this class was great and make sure to do all hw! Make sure you are present!

revws in 2020 saying prof is horrible is a lie. Prof is straight forward, all of the hw is on launchpad 30-50 q's per chapter. Two attempts at hw ( u can see what u got wrong), EC for each hw too. Got nothing bad to say about Professor Creppy, he is pretty chill for the most part and replies to emails relatively quickly. There are no exams just assignments on the Macmillan Learning online textbook thing and also there are extra credit opportunities for each chapter, so that was pretty cool. Also, show up to class because it's easy points ��

Professer Creppy was very nice and wants his students to Succeed. He does his best to make himself available via email and zoom. All grades are based on homework and extra credit. Really cool to not have to worry about tests or quizzes. Just attend class so that you can stay up to date with the materials and show up on time!

Dr Creppy has an incredible command of the material and clearly has a passion for the subject. There are clear and strict expectations of students, but follow them and you will succeed. Come to class, and just contribute, pay attention, and read your notes prior to entering the classroom. If you notice that your peers are joking around, or in general getting on his nerves, do yourself a favor and study hard, or drop the class. It then becomes his goal to weed out students who weren't prepared by giving out assignments to fail them

Great prof! No exams. All hw based. Hw through Cengage be prepared to pay for that. He is very professional, so make sure to attend and pay attention in class. He is nice and responds to emails on time. No pop quizzes. Sometimes depending on his mood, he will do in class exercise if he feels no one is taking notes or whatever. Recommend!!

Dr Creppy was the best professor that I have had at NOVA. I learned a lot and he wrote a great recommendation letter for me. HW is all online & has multiple attempts. He also offered a lot of extra credit throughout the course. He awarded attendance and participation - and he made it easy to participate as the class is pretty engaging.

Dr. Creppy, is the professor who needs your engagement in class. Ask questions and show seriousness that all he ask for. He makes sure you are getting what you paid for. He is a very nice professor and does everything to help you out. However this class is very hard in general, especially coming from a social science major. If you have the opportunity, I would take him if you think you will struggle in a class like this.

You have to read, take notes, and study, but you can get an A. Homework is timed ( quiz-like), but save all the questions and study them. He makes the test from the Homework questions. If you don't read & study, you won't do well. It helps to have online tools, such as a 2nd computer with lecture notes open during class, chegg, quizlet.

Dr. Creppy is one of best professors I have ever had, and it is not because he is an easy teacher, it is because the way he explains concepts of economics. The examples he provides are very easy to comprehend because they are every day situations. On top of very good lectures, he also provides economic advice for the future.

Took the accelerated class, and the professor accelerated the already accelerated class, lol. All assignments are posted since day 1 and could all be done in two days, such as I did. There's a homework for every chapter (17), two tests, and one essay. He really does know his stuff and gets into it a lot during his lectures. Great teacher overall.

He grades very easy and you can look up the test, mid-term, and final questions. Really easy except for the problem sets. But even those work hurt your grade.

Dr. Creppy is an excellent instructor who cares a lot for his students. His classes are only hard if you don't show up, but otherwise are really straightforward. He values respect both ways and will do the best he can to make sure that you pass his course!

Dr. Creppy is an excellent teacher. He lays out expectations and his grading criteria is straight forward; he also is super responsive when it comes to emails. I took a slightly acerated course and passed with an A. As long as you read the textbook, PowerPoint slides and the additional videos you should have no issues passing this class!

Creppy gives fantastic lectures. Each chapter has a quiz (online, do at home, lockdown, but no webcam, use your notes). If your class behaves and participates, he can drop the midterm, final, or final project (or all of them). ATTEND CLASS. Attendance is important, and he gives in-class quizzes (can use notes) that are worth a lot of points.

This class was so easy! the midterm and final were the same questions as the quizzes. Such an easy grader when it comes to discussions and problem sets. Will be taking him again for micro!

Six week online course. 2 proctored exams, 20 quizzes, and a few discussions. Each quiz has two practice quizzes, do those!!! In total, you will do 3 quizzes for each chapter, and the 2 proctored exams have questions from these quizzes. He is very caring and posts announcements, and responds quickly to emails. I would take him again!

Dr. Creppy is a wonderful economics professor. He makes class very easy, provided you attend the lectures and pay close attention. The most important thing to know is that Dr. Creppy has strict standards that he will hold you and himself to. These are not unfair at all, literally just pay attention and stay off your phone. Write good notes though.

Dr Creepy is a very nice professor. You just need to attend regularly and take clear notes, everything you need for the course comes from his lectures. Quizzes are online, and the in-class assignments are directly based on your notes. He doesn't like students using their phones during class, but class is interesting and the time goes by quickly.

If you want an easy A take this professor! He goes over everything in lecture that will be on the quizzes and they are ALL open note! He is very knowledgeable and a super caring professor. He even dropped our final because the class was scoring well on quizzes:)
