He is very nice and teaches well. He makes corny jokes who are sometimes very funny. The way to pass his class is to write essays with lots and lots of details. don't forget... DETAILS!!!!!!

Extremely easy class, all you have to do is make sure you add details to your essays, read the stories that he assigns, do the little definitions, by little i mean like 4 words which you can define in less then 5 minutes, TRUST ME!! And the research paper is super easy, make sure not to miss any lectures about the paper though. VERY EASY!!!

Very hilarious!! Funny in a weird way, he always makes you laugh at class, even if the joke is stupid lol. Journals, 1 essay per unit (3 in total) and the final presentation. This is one of those professors who talks a lot, but he makes it fit into the topic of the day. A few easy 5 paragraph essays with reasonable due dates. He grades very reasonably and gives you plenty of leeway on what to write. Very very few notes and the book barely get used

So glad that I took LIT instead of speech. Its much easier and there is less speaking to do. I really enjoyed the poems and stories. Prof Glenn is HILARIOUS! ENC1101 "B" & ENC1102 "A". If English is your second language I wouldn't recommend him because majority of his essays are in class and timed. He is a tough grader on essays. He provides great lectures. He literally teaches and tells you exactly what he wants out of your essays so you can do well in his class. He tells joke and is really funny.

Amazing professor. He is very enthusiastic about English and really tries to get his students engaged in lessons. He makes class a breeze and is always cracking jokes. Super understanding and doesn't give a hard time with any missing homework assignments. Highly suggest him for ENC1101. Easy A if you try.

Prof . Glenn is amazing! He is a very logical teacher and understands the world doesn't revolve around school. His cw/hw is basically completion and his essays are very relatable. He cares about grammar but besides that he is pretty lenient. I am a good writer but I still learned from him. Plus he's really funny and gets to know all his students!

This man is absolutely hilarious and so nice! He makes you feel super comfortable throughout the semester while making you laugh along the way. I hate public speaking but the presentation (this class fulfills the oral comm requirement for your degree) felt like a breeze because of the nice ambiance he sets in class. Professor Glenn is simply the best English teacher I have ever had. He is hilarious, and knows how to keep you engaged in class. If writing is not your strong don't worry, he understands we are not all English majors; just be careful with your grammar and try to give lots of detail, and you should get a good grade.

Hes pretty eccentric in a funny way with his jokes and working them to be a part of his lectures. Hes an easy going guy, so worrying he might be difficult isnt a problem. All you have to worry about is putting in a great amount of detail and proofreading afterwards for grammar as it will lower your essays by a letter grade. Class was cake.

Professor Glenn is a good teacher, I liked how his lectures were engaging. He is always open to hearing people's opinion and he is always making jokes. He is very clear on how his class works and it's easy. He is also very understanding and is a little lenient on late work. I enjoyed his class and I would take it again.

He does tell a lot of jokes that you mostly won't laugh at but he's truly a good teacher. Anybody can pass this class if they turn in their assignments. You can tell that he really loves being a professor.

Professor Glenn is Amazing his class is very easy but he grades a bit tough on grammar and punctuation. He only assigned 5 essays throughout the entire semester, 3 of which were done in class; he offers a lot of help and advice to students who may need it and is very easy going.

He is adorable and makes corny jokes. As long as you follow directions and turn in work on time, you'll pass. He assigned 3 out of class essays & 2 in-class essays which were easy topics. If you need help, he'll help you. He gives a lot of notes too.

Professor Glenn was one of the best professors Ive ever had EVER. He has funny lectures where he cracks jokes constantly and makes sure you learn the material. I would recommend him to anyone. Super nice teacher. You need to buy all three textbooks he assigns or else you just can't do the homework. He is flexible but don't take advantage. If you're absent on a day he assigns a take home essay, he most likely won't let you do the assignment at all. He has some funny jokes and really tries to make the class more enjoyable.

This is my first year of college and i have to say hes been my favorite professor so far. Hes very understanding when it comes to absences (something excusable). Hes really nice and funny and not biased at all. Hes handwriting is a bit wonky but its okay. He talks a lot but its engaging and actually very interesting. I love his dark humor.

Mr Glenn is a very funny guy who tells jokes all class long. Theres six essays and they all have easy topics that are all questions about yourself. The only homeworks are grammar workbook activities that lead up to the essays. I wish I could take him for another class!

He's very caring for his students. He makes an effort for you even when it's not related to class. The class was way too easy and I wish that I would have taken the clep test instead. About 4-5 short essays focusing on things taught in middle school. The powerpoints are more than enough to understand the content, the class is just for the humour.

This professor is awesome. I have never been good at writing and never learned ANYTHING from those excuses of teachers back in highschool. i actually learned. took the notes and used the exact same notes he gave in class to do my essays and it was an easy A. he is a good teacher. even if you barely try you can get straight b's on all the essays.

Prof Glenn is good. at the beginning I was scared I tough I would fail the class because he gave to much works to do and I hate writing. And he'd never put grades until the middle of the semester. In class he gave maximum 3 classwork due at 11:59pm, but there's an extension it still open so you could've sent it in next day.

Loved Professor Glenns class! We had around 5-6 essays and they were all based around personal experiences. The lectures were great, I took away a lot from them! Hes also superrr corny and he makes a ton of dad jokes, but I think thats what makes him so funny! My only concern was that I never got anything above a 95.

I absolutely adore prof. Glenn and his dad jokes, he tries his best to make class interesting. He assigns great poems and genuinely cares about his students passing. He sends emails to make sure youre staying on task and getting your assignments done. There are a few papers to write but nothing major. I enjoy writing so I enjoyed this class

Take his class if you want an easy A. He tries to make the class entertaining and engaging. For the LIT2480 class, you write 3 essays, discussion boards, and one oral presentation. He's not at all a harsh grader and is very understanding and caring.

Professor Glenn was a great teacher. He loves to implement his jokes and sarcasm while he is lecturing which helps with the atmosphere of the classroom. We had assignments due every week which were fairly easy. Only thing about the semester was that the assignments felt a bit repetitive, but it was overall a wonderful semester with him.

This is the best professor at MDC. Throughout the course, you will read amazing literature. You will write four essays on different topics. Additionally, at the end of the semester, there is an oral presentation where you must present a piece of literature we studied and connect it to a real-life experience. TAKE HIM, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

I wanted to share my experience in his English class. He's an incredible teacher and has helped me improve my essays a lot. In ENC1102, my teacher praised my work with an essay response plus a 100 percent. My advice? Avoid using AI to rewrite your essays; I did that and ended up with a B. I genuinely enjoy his class, and I think you will too.

Took him ENC1101 and ENC1102. When he's teaching, it feels like he's trying to do stand-up comedy. He gives feedback on essays and gives you options to select from easy topics. Topics are usually about you, so there is no need to do any reading or research if you're taking ENC1101. I think there's 5 essays in total.

Bro genuinely if you he offers any class you need to take for a credit, TAKE IT. Hands down the best professor I've had at this school. His jokes are so bad you have no choice but to laugh. Attendance not mandatory. GIVES EXTENSION. And he always makes sure to give a thoughtful response to all assignments, he really does read them all. A must take
