This guys is tough. He is after your success and wants you to succeed. He is very helpful. You better be on time. He is always in the class at least 1.5 hours before the start of the class and usually stays longer to make sure everyone's questions are answered. Great presentations, ask us questions and keeps the class engaged. Bagels for last day.

He will help you learn to navigate the NEC Code Book. Very helpful. He wants us to succeed. But, it takes practice. We have to put in the work. I suggest getting the Practice Test Books that he recommends.

I took NEC class last spring semester with Edward and learned a lot from his class. Edward is very helpful and good person, he always come to class early or stay late after class to help his students. He encourages his students to ask questions and makes sure all their questions are clearly answered. You won't be regretted if u take his class.

Ed is a great teacher who understands the needs of the students and will guide students each step to successful understand the course and learn what is being taught. I took residential wiring, from Ed's class I learned a lot, now I can install recepticles and light switches at home without any fear of being shock.

Let me start of by saying great teacher, YOU have to ask questions so he can help you. Worked hands on the mock ups in the class that helped alot as if it were in the field, mando attendance required to not fall behind in class. Thank god no textbook was required it was optional but not mandatory, best thing was everything was mostly hands on work

To be honest Ed was the most chill and relaxed teacher, I would definitely retake his class.

Ed is a very understandable person every-time he explains something he ask if anyone has questions and he helps everyone on their project and will do his best to answer your question and makes sure you understand.

Mr. Gorginian teaches real life wiring. I have learned wiring that I can use on my own house. Mr.G makes sure that everyone has their questions answered. He teaches from experience not just a book. By far one of the best classes. When you take his class make sure you show up every time. If you miss a class you will miss a lot of good info.

Mr. Gorginian explains the learning topics clearly and the lab assignments help solidifying the learning theory. He is very concern about students' safety throughout lecturing and labs practices. Furthermore, he makes the class fun.

Instructor Gorginian teaches his class to the knowledge level of the most inexperienced person. Students are encouraged to think and ask questions. He also understands that there are students who have some electrical experience and he calls on them to check the information that is being taught.

Ed Gorginian was a very good teacher, He took the time to explain his lectures and we as a class went over difficult parts of the course but he made sure that it was easy to understand the problems that we as a class were working on. That explains a great deal of a teacher to always go and ask the students if they had any questions.

Edward is one of the best teachers I've ever had. Unlike most he really takes alot of time to make sure you understand a concept, nodding you head doesn't work; you really need to understand by explaining back what he taught you. Another thing he is good at is taking feedback well from his students.Would recommend if you are serous about the trade.

I really like and respect these teachers who love what they do and teach. Mr. Edward Gorginian is a licensed electrician and he gave many practical tips during the electrical wiring class while covering the important NEC codes and basic electric theory.

Very knowledgeable on the subject and cares about the students learning about it. He will help you if you ask questions during the lecture and provides feedback that will make you brainstorm during lab.

Make sure to take good notes.

Taking notes is super important in professor Gorginian's class, but he makes sure to cover everything that will be tested on. The only questions on the quiz I didn't get right were because I misread my notes, but all the answers were there. If you have any questions, he makes sure to take time and be sure you understand everything he's teaching.

Edward was a great instructor for the commercial/residential wiring. He wants to make sure everyone understands the lecture before moving on to the next topic. I would recommend taking his class to anyone interested in electrical wiring.

The professor was great and well educated. The only issue I had was with the other students asking questions. Half of the class had wiring experience so they would ask technical questions. I would lose focus by the prolonged response back and forth. Mr. Gorginian went above and beyond to help us out.

Even when you think it's a basic question, you'll end up learning more than what you expected. The lab is also great. Every lab excercise has a real-life application.

Professor Gorginian took his time and made sure to make safety his number one concern. The class was in-person part lecture and part lab. He was always available before hours and after class for any questions or one-on-one help. During lectures he would be thorough and clear, answering all questions. During labs, he would assist and check work.

Mr. G. teaches his classes from experience . We did bunch of conduit bending, some three phase and general electrical theory. The lab needs to be better and updated.

Unlike many professors who instruct based on theory, Edward instructs using practice AND practical knowledge. Class was enjoyable. I learned a lot about electrical wiring. Instructor was very clear during lectures and was able to explain difficult concepts well. During lab we got a chance to practice what we learned and instructor was there to explain and answer questions.

Lectures are very detailed. A couple of labs are challenging but the professor is always there to explain until you fully understand. As long as you pay attention and take notes during his lectures, you will pass. Missing one day of his lectures is very crucial to your lab activities. Overall one of best classes at SJCC

Mr. Gorginian's class emphasis on hand-on labs on top of the lectures. I think this worked very well with the goal of the class he teaches. However, I do wish that he will make some handout for the lecture. I was able to take an acceptable note, but as a student learning the material, taking a judicial note wasn't always possible.

I have taken the 2 of the professor's courses, 1. CNSTR-102B Residential/Commercial Wiring 2. ELECT-153 National Electrical Code. I plan to continue take his course of ETEC-150 Commercial Wiring. The professor takes the students as his family. He cares everyone. He is so professional and nice to help a lot of students to be successful.

explains in detail electrical concepts which allows me to conceptualize how it works on a deeper level. This allows the learning to come much easier than simply memorizing a set of rules. Explains not only how to do things correctly but also goes through the wrong ways and why they are wrong and why they wont work.

Ed's lectures are very clear. Not only teach you the right ways of doing thing but also show you other alternatives and tell you why one is better than the other. You gain more confidence because you know the good and bad. No take home homework. 70% of his class is doing actual wiring in the lab. Great lectures + Lot's practice = True learning.

This is the only class where I see students are constantly staying active for the entire 5 hour-long lab. No one seem to want to take a break or fall asleep. Everyone is so eager to learn every bit that Ed teaches. Lot of practice, on your own pace. Ed never rush. He set you up for doing things the right way with confidence. A+++ professor.
