Excellent computer class. I learned a lot and enjoyed his teaching style. This was one of the most beneficial courses I've yet taken at BSU.
Dr. Lazaros did a good job given the technical nature of the class. I enjoyed his teaching style. I like that we had the opportunity to do many hands on activities.
Considering this was a required course, I didn't think it was too bad. Dr. Lazaros was helpful and did a good job explaining the material. Some students did not like him but that was because they were not doing good in the class. I had no problem doing the work required. Attendance was required and the class was not easy.
Just make sure to print assignments in COLOR and follow directions and you'll be fine. He has no tests.
Enjoyed his class! He was fair grader, and he always got work back to us right away. I learned a lot about computer, and I really liked the Photoshop stuff we did. I suggest taking this class if you want to learn about a lot of different software programs. The web design stuff was fun too.
Lazaros was a good instructor. He was easy to get along with and respected the class. I didn't like the fact that he took attendance everyday; however, the in class assignments were fun and I got a lot out of them. Many of the things we did in class I used in my portfolio that I plan on showing to employers when I apply for jobs.
His class was outstanding. Look, most Ball State professors are a joke. This guy really did care about how we did. I learned a lot from the assignment.
I liked all the activities we did in the class. I have no complaints about Laz.
I thought Laz was a good prof. The projects were fun and pretty easy. He was pretty hot too!
very easy class! you grade your own work, no test, no final...he gives you many projects, but all are very easy!
Having just completed the ITEDU691 course with Dr. Lazaors, I can say that it was a very useful course. As a practicing teacher, I found this education methods course to be very helful. The course forced me to think about what I do as a teacher and how to improve.
I took ITGRA184 during the fall semester. I enjoyed all of the projects that I did in the course. I found all of them to be interesting and uselful. I really enjoyed this course and learned a lot.
This was a good design course. I like Photoshop and InDesign so most of the homework was fun. Lazaros was a good guy. Some of the lectures were a little boring but the assignments were cool.
I enjoyed the 154 class. The projects were fun, and he gave us enough time to get everything completed. He was a good prof. :)
Laz is a cool prof. You will like how he uses YouTube videos in his PowerPoint presentations. I think his class is really fun. I liked the iPhone redesign project that we did. He's so hot!!!
Laz is a great teacher. at times the class can get boring and i wish we didnt have group projects but besides that Laz is a great prof.
Great Professor. Thanks for the additional assistance. Not too many professors are as giving of their time outside the classroom.
Dr. Lazaros delivered a great learning experience. As a CTE teacher, I found the course to be very helpful. He was very quick to grade work, and I think he must be attached to his e-mail 24/7 because he always responded very quickly to my questions. Great teacher!
Dr. Lazaros did a nice job teaching TGRA 184. I really enjoyed this design course and learning more about the Adobe programs. He always responded to my questions very quickly and he was a fair grader. I would recommend the course and him as an instructor.
TEDU 568 was my first class in the Master of Arts in Career and Technical Education program. I was a little intimidated since I haven't been in college in a while and since I've never taken an online class before. Dr. Lazaros was very helpful, and his class was well organized. I really enjoyed the experience and learned a lot.
As someone who recently made a career transition to higher education, TEDU 569 was my first course in the Master of Arts in Career and Technical Education program. I learned a lot about the organization and coordination of career and technical education. Dr. Lazaros had a very organized course with clear expectations.
I also just completed TEDU 569 this past semester, and I enjoyed the it. Dr. Lazaros has a well organized course. He helped me get over some my technology phobias, and I was successful in the course. He does a really good job responding to questions and emails fast. He also provided feedback to the work I submitted very quickly.
Dr. Lazaros is an amazing professor! His feedback is so helpful and he really wants you to succeed. The course is very straightforward and to the point. It's an easy class as long as you pay attention to the videos he posts!
I took TGRA 184 during Fall 2017 and enjoyed the course. I liked that this professor took the time to create videos to explain how to use the Adobe software we were learning about in the class. This made the assignments much easier. This was one of the best online classes I have taken at Ball State. I would recommend the class and the professor
Always helpful and responds to e-mails very quickly. I followed the directions on the assignments, and he graded them fairly. I would take him again for sure.
He Was an amazing professor. He was actually the best professor i have had at ball state. He was extremely good at teaching and assignments were explained very well. I would highly recommend this class.
Dr. Lazaros has been one of the best and most caring professors I've had at Ball State. He is very clear about all assignments and grading criteria. He even took the time to record tutorial videos for each assignment and posts them each week. You grade yourself and as long as you put thought into your assessment, that's the grade he gives you.
Dr. Lazaros' classes have been well structured and informative. The blending of individual and group work, as well as group discussions provides excellent opportunity to learn and succeed in his classes.
This was my first graduate course, and I had a good experience. The assignments were clear and there was a reasonable amount of time given to complete them. I felt like Dr. Lazaros was a fair grader. As long as I followed the directions, I did well on the assignments. He was very accessible by e-mail. He always responded quickly.
I am taking TEDU 569 this semester, and I have had a good experience in the course so far. This professor seems fair, and he provides quick feedback each week. Whenever I have reached out to him, he responds to my questions very quickly. This has been one of my better graduate level courses.
Good teacher, It was an online class, his video lectures were about the homework, and how to use the software we were using for the week. Replies to emails on a timely fashion. Overall great teacher, would take again.
I just completed the CTE569 online course this Spring semester. Dr. Lazaros was fair and clear about what was necessary to earn a good grade in the course. Every time I e-mailed him, I got a response very quickly. Unlike my other professors, Dr. Lazaros actually graded my work quickly. Usually, I received a grade and feedback in a day or two.
I loved this online course! I had so much fun with Photoshop. I had never used InDesign or Illustrator before, but I liked how Dr. Lazaros had videos that made learning these programs easy. I wish he offered a second class relating to Photoshop that I could take.
Dr. Lazaros is a good online professor. I liked the fact that I could follow the directions, submit my work, and rest assured that it would be graded fairly. There was never any guessing about what my grade would be. It became apparent that as long as my work met the criteria, I would get a good grade. This is not the case with many professors.
Good prof! He was very quick to respond to my questions. I give his course an A+. The assignments were all fun! I really liked the magazine design activity.
I loved having Dr. Lazaros as a professor. This was by far the best online course I have taken at BSU. He was very fair with how he does grading, and his videos were so helpful. I liked being able to assess my work before I turned it in. I really had fun with Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. I will definitely take his classes again.
Great professor! I enjoyed the course. I had never had any experiences with Adobe software in high school, so I thought it was very cool that I could learn more about this in college and still get core credit at the same time. I'd recommend Dr. Lazaros to anyone who needs a core curriculum course at BSU.
I learned a lot about student organizations in education in this graduate course. I really liked being able to meet other professionals in CTE from around the country through discussion board participation in the course. Since I have never been an advisor for a student organization before, this was an eye opening course for me.
This course motivated me to get more involved with student organizations. I really enjoyed this online course. I would take another class by Dr. Lazaros in the future.
I learned a lot about Photoshop and InDesign in the ISOM 112 course. I would have liked more activities relating to Illustrator. Other than that, this course was great! Dr. Lazaros was great to work with!
I took ISOM112 this summer, and enjoyed working with Dr. Lazaros. He responded to my e-mails in lightening speed and was very helpful. There were a few dull assignment are the beginning of the course, but it picked up speed and was really fun. I really had fun with Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator in the course.
Very genuine and rewarding course load
Dr. Lazaros was an incredible professors! He is always available and grades assignments quickly. He really wants students to succeed. He is very helpful with explaining assignments. He uses great videos to show you exactly what to do. I learned a lot in this class. I would definitely take him again!
Dr. Lazaros was my professor at Ball State University for my masters level class. He provided a clear classroom structure and graded assignments fairly and gave me great reflection. I would take more classes with him.
This was one of my favorite classes. The video lectures that Dr. Lazaros had in the class made it easy for me to complete the assignments. I felt like my work was graded fairly. He also did a good job getting back in touch with me quickly when I had questions. Great professor and great class!
I enjoyed taking ISOM 112 with Dr. Lazaros. I had so much fun with the Photoshop activities in the class. His video lectures were amazing and I had no problem completing the work. I would suggest this class to anyone who wants to learn more about Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator!
I enjoyed learning more about the organization and coordination of CTE in this course. Dr. Lazaros was always easily accessible to help me. I had a great experience!
BED625 was my favorite graduate level course so far. I liked being able to interact using video in Canvas. This was so much better than boring book work and papers that Ive had to do in other classes. I was able to discuss real world topics in the course that are relevant in my career.
This class wasn't difficult and participation is key. Although it's an online course Dr. Lazaros is very accessible. He returns calls and emails in a timely manner. Assignment instructions were clear and detailed examples were given, you couldn't go wrong. The due dates were reasonable, he gives you plenty of time to complete the assignments.
I truly enjoyed this class! I was skeptical about taking an online course because I need my professor to accessible and Dr. Lazaros is that professor. He returns calls and emails in a timely manner and assists you with whatever the challenge may be. The assignments are relevant, instructions are clear and he provides you with detailed examples.
Lazaros is a really nice professor. His classes can deal with some tough subjects but he goes the extra mile making step-by-step guides for students so that they know how to do their homework. For our course we used an online book so I didn't have to pay an extra fees which was incredibly helpful.
Professor Lazaros made this class super easy to take. Some of the projects were difficult, but he always made a step by step video on how to do the projects so that you're not confused on anything.
This course allowed for a lot of flexibility with assignments so you could tailor it to your profession or area of interest. The directions were clear as well as the expectations. Dr. Lazaros gave great examples of what the assignment should look like and even offered templates to help the student. I would have enjoyed more classes with him.
Dr. Lazaros was one of the nicest college professors I have ever had. He responded to emails at lightning speed and provided great feedback. The exams are easy if you read the book and take notes along the way. Assignment videos are incredibly helpful for completing all Adobe work. I would recommend anybody take this professor. You can't go wrong.
ISOM 112 is an easy A. The class is also interesting tho. Reccommend takign it for the tier 2 fine arts credit
Fairly easy class, with clear expectations. If you can follow directions with all assignments, quizzes, and exams you should pretty much earn a grade now lower than a B. Class is also a great tool for people looking for a creative edge when it comes to Adobe software!
Probably the best professor I've had so far. Responds to emails very fast and grades assignments quickly as well. Gives detailed feedback on assignments and is very gracious. Course instructions are clear and you walk away with actually having learned something.
Great Professor, and really enjoyed the class even though it was online.
This was the best class I had this semester and my favorite professor. The discussions actually related to the real world, which made it more fun. Dr. Lazaros was a fair grader, and he responded very quickly whenever I communicated with him, even on the weekends.
Dr. Lazaros always provided feedback each week, and he was kind and positive whenever he graded my work. Whenever I e-mailed him, he got back with me right away and tried to help. I thought a lot of the Photoshop and InDesign projects were fun.
Dr. Lazaros was caring and helpful. When I reached out to him, he listened to what was going on in my life at the time and made accommodations for me so that I could still earn a good grade in the class. I'll never forget that. He is the best of the best that Ball State has to offer in my opinion.
This was a fun class and Dr. Lazaros made learning online easy with all of his videos. He always graded my homework right away, which is more than I can say for other online classes that I have taken. If you want a fun Tier 2 Fine Arts / Design course, I suggest you take this one!
Dr. Lazaros was a good professor and always graded my work right away and provided friendly and positive comments to me in Canvas. I had fun using the Adobe programs and learned some new things. This was a well organized online course which was refreshing.
CT 112 was a fun class because I had never used Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator before. I had an easy time following along with the videos, which the professor had in Canvas. Dr. Lazaros always e-mailed me back right away when I contacted him and tried his best to help. He doesn't allow late work, but he does have extra credit which helped me.
The CT 112 class is bussin. For real check it out if you need a Tier 2. It is the best online class that I have taken at BSU. Just turn your stuff in on time and follow directions and you will do fine. It ain't that hard. Dr. Laz is a cool dude but he doesn't accept any late work.
Dr. Lazaros was always helpful when I contacted him, and he got back with me right away which I really appreciated. I felt like there was always someone there when I needed help in the online class. His class is way more organized than any of the other online classes that I have taken at Ball State. His videos were easy to follow long with.
This was a great class and a good professor who was always there when I needed help. The videos in the online class were easy to follow and I always knew what I was supposed to be doing.
CT 112 was a cool class. I liked learning more about Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. The professor Dr. Lazaros was always helpful when contacted him. I really liked all of his videos which made completing the assignments a no brainer. If you need a Tier 2 class, this is the one to take.
This is the easiest class I've ever taken out of high school and college. This semester, there was 1 project per week in addition to a quiz per week. There are step by step videos he posts and you can get the projects done in like 30 mins for the whole week. If you know adobe software, 5 mins flat each week. You can get by without the textbook too
I loved the CT115 class because I got to learn more about YouTube. Dr. Lazaros selected some pretty cool videos to show us on the class which we got to discuss. The quizzes were pretty easy and I actually leaned quite a bit from the class.
Dr. Lazaros is extremely kind and such a great professor. I will 100% take another one of his courses. CT115 is so informative, and it is an easy course overall. He did give us one extra credit opportunity.
This course was super easy. I do wish I would have learned about other social media platforms, not just YouTube. I wanted the class to be a tiny bit more challenging, because I don't feel like a I learned a lot. There are also weekly discussions and quizzes. If you are looking for a super easy class for a credit, take this one.
CT 115 was a great class. Dr. Lazaros selected some very interesting YouTube videos to share each week. I enjoyed being able to participate in the discussion forum each week with my classmates. The grading in this class is very straightforward. As long as you answer all of the questions each week with your opinion, you will earn full credit.
Very fun class. Community within the class and students, even online. So nice and respectful. Very easy quizzes and assignments, but also learned something from each assignment. Loved it. 10/10.
Course content was very easy, but each assignment is virtually the same. If you want easy credit, take this class. If you want to learn about anything other than the YouTube recommended page, avoid it.
This class had a very strict routine that was very easy to follow. He also sent out reminders that late work wouldn't be accepted prior to the due dates. Each week, he sent messages that gave feedback on our submissions.
Dr. Lazaros is so kind and cares about his students. He makes sure everyone knows when assignments are due and how to do the assignments step by step. I've had him twice now, and I've loved his classes!
As a full time teacher who is also in graduate school part-time, I really appreciated the fact that Dr. Lazaros was always accessible when I needed help. If I e-mailed Dr. Lazaros, I always received a response within a very short period of time. If I ever phoned this professor, the call was answered, even in the evening. This professor is great!
I really loved the CT 115 course. Who wouldn't love learning more about the social media platform YouTube? As a 100 level course, I wasn't expecting it to be too difficult, and it wasn't. I really loved how this professor had a new and entertaining video for each module that we could talk about in the discussion forum, which made it real world.
The BSU semester just ended this past Friday, and I have to say that CT 115 was my favorite course. Unlike many of my courses, this professor was very clear with assignment instructions. I always knew what I needed to do each week to earn a good grade, which I did receive at the end of the semester. Dr. Laz is one of best professors BSU can offer!
I took CTE 622 which is a required professional core course in my graduate program, and Dr. Lazaros did a nice job as the professor. He was always accessible whenever I had questions. The assignment directions were always straightforward, and grading was fair. The same can't be said for some of the other courses I've taken at BSU led by others.
I just completed CT 115 this semester, and I thought it was a fun course. Dr. Lazaros graded my work in a timely manner, and he always responded to me quickly whenever I needed help. His course was one of the most organized that I've taken at Ball State. I learned quite a bit about the social media platform YouTube, and I enjoyed the activities.
I just finished taking my first class in the Master's in CTE, which was CTE 622. This professor had clear expectations for each assignment in the course. As long as you follow the directions and submit everything on-time, you will have a good experience. Whenever I had questions, I called or e-mailed Dr. Lazaros and he got back with me right away.
Dr. Lazaros is one of the best professors I've had. His Canvas page is extremely well-organized, and he explains assignments clearly and thoroughly. This is an amazing class if you want to learn the basics of various Adobe Acrobat applications.
I really liked the CT 115 course. The professor was always available when I needed help. His online course was by far the most organized of any course I've taken at Ball State. Just follow the directions and do your work and you will get a good grade.
Dr. Laz is a class that is built to get you the info you need and not full of a bunch of boring work, very good to take if you have a heavy course load because this class will have very clear expectations of what is expected and how to do everything.
Good class to take if you're looking for an easy class to bulk up on credits. Very few assignments and each one was very easy to complete. Quizzes are open book and directly from the chapters (no time limit either) and assignments had walk throughs for student easy. Always gave very encouraging and positive feedback on all non-quiz assignments.
Professor Lazaros set clear and realistic expectations over the semester for this online course. I learned a lot in this class and am thankful for low stress assignments. I HIGHLY recommend taking this class if you are interested in Social Media, Marketing, and Advertising.
Dr. Lazaros is a good professor, and he was always available when I e-mailed him or called him for help. He was always supportive, which I appreciated since this was my first graduate level course. I recommend taking a course with him if you can.
