very nice guy. just do the homework and the class is cake, he doesnt give very much. for lab he is great, he pretty much holds ur hand the whole way through. the accent is rough at first but he writes everything on the board so notes are easy to follow. go to class bc he will know if u are not there

He was really interested in helping everyone pass - recitations were very helpful. Even though he has an accent, he wasn't too hard to understand either. Funny guy, too.

I think he is one of those professors that MU should really be proud to have as a faculty member. Ridiculously smart, wants EVERYONE to do well. I took him 2 years ago and only did average, but I have passed by him a few times and he has stopped each time to say hello and ask how my college career is coming along. Fantastic professor.

Somehow this ENGL major ended up in his CHEM 111 class - I was clueless. But I met with him after classes in office hours, and even though he knew I was never going to use his material after the class, he helped me pass with a solid "B". Take him, by all means - one of MU's best!

Great guy, very intelligent and willing to help out anytime. Explains things in different ways rather than the same over and over. HATES when you talk in lecture, though. Wants people to do well--take him if you have the chance!

He's about the nicest man you'll ever meet. If you don't show up to lecture he'll single you out, but it's because he wants everyone to do well. He's very helpful and usually presents the information in more than one way so people can use what works for them. You need to do the book problems and study and you'll do fine. He has a good heart.

Raj is the man. He's an excellent teacher who eases your anxieties by showing you how easy chemistry can be. I've had a pretty terrible chemistry background, but Raj tries to cater to every crowd. I'm going to stick with him for as long as I need to take chemistry.

Great chemistry professor. He is good at explaining things and wants you to do well in the class. The recitations are very helpful. If you try to do good, you will...guaranteed!

Raj is the man i have taken 111 with him i am now in his 112 and 251 and he is very helpful and will make sure you understand FULLY what you need to know before moving on. Chem is not an easy course but with Raj it makes it a little better and if your lucky you might even get a good story out of the class

Easily the best professor I've ever had in any class in any school. Took 112 in the Summmer 1 semester, it was hard but I enjoyed every minute. I can't say enough good things about Dr. R. He is helpful, fun, super smart and explains things so clearly. Everyone loves Dr. R. If you have the opportunity, take his class!

Had Raj for 111, 112. He teaches extremely well and prepares you well for the ACS final exam. He teaches you what you need to know and the essential chemistry from the chapters and leaves "the filler" behind. He is more than willing to help you if you don't understand a topic. His tests aren't cake but he wants to know if you grasp the material.

I had Dr.R for chem 111 and 112. he is the best chem professor i have ever had. He really made all the material flow together in a comprehensible way. Do the homework and you'll be prepared for the exams.

I had Raj for Chem 111 and 112. I wish he taught every Chemistry course here! He is so helpful and is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. His notes are very detailed and in depth. He's really funny too!

Dr. Rajaseelan is one of the nicest professors at Millersville. He explains everything clearly and gives plenty of examples. If you do the homework, study and attend class you'll do fine.

By far the best prof I've had at MU. Lectures were extremely clear and well organized, he always explained himself well and gave a ton of examples. Very friendly and eager to help.

Dr. R is without a doubt the best professor I have ever had. He is always willing to help you with any type of problem. His lectures are very clear and he add a lot of stories which are usually funny. He knows every single student in his class by name and notices is you are not in class. His tests are easy as long as you do everything he asks.

Dr Rajaseelan was great! By far the most helpful professor I have had. He obviously cares about each individual student. He writes everything on the board, which makes note taking much easier, and tests are straight from the notes. Do not take chem with anyone but him!

He is such a jolly man. He always made jokes, and was an extremely smart man. He always kept me from falling asleep in class. He can be a little harsh where grading in concerned, but because of his personality I would think twice about taking him.

Dr. Rajaseelan is the absolute best professor you will ever have at Millersville, or probably anywhere. I took him for chem 111 and am taking him again for Chem 112. He lectures through examples and that is also what he tests you by. The class is somewhat difficult, but he will always be there to help! He is amazing.

Amazing professor! He put everything in terms that anyone could understand. Small workload and interesting lectures. As long as he sees you pay attention and work hard, you could fail the standardized final and he'd give the grade he knows you deserve. I'd definately recommend him!

Great teacher. Took Chem 112 with him. This class is easy if you study HARD! Great person, helpful, and very funny! Highly recommend him! Make sure to work hard though!

He's a great professor! His tests are difficult but he really prepares you. Whether you are good at chemistry or not he really works with you to make sure you understand. If I had to take any chemistry course I would choose him over the other professors! (Especially Rickard)

I almost failed high school chem and ended up with a b+ in his course. Never had any out of class assignments, all you had to do was study for the exams. only complaint is that his final was a standardized exam and it was nothing like what he taught all semester. needless to say i am taking him for chem 112

He will go out of his way to make sure you understand, gives plenty of examples, and lets you know what will be on the test

TAKE HIM! he spells out everything in pretty much perfect understanding and will definately help you if you dont. he writes out all his notes on the board during lectures so they are really easy to follow and study from. his tests are from his notes so always write everything out and practice the problems he gives. such a nice and funny man too!!

Even though I didn't do good in his class but still passed!.. he's a really nice guy. He is always honest with you and never makes you feel stupid even if you yourself are convinced. Even if your not good at chem like me, put as much time as you can into the work and you will pass. He knows what's right for you. I switched majors but still learned

One of the best professors I've had so far. I had him for CHEM 111 and 112. The course is not easy but if you go to class and do the book problems he assigns you will pass. He writes all of his notes on the board and makes the test from his notes. He is very friendly and will always help when you ask. I strongly recommend taking a course from him.

"Dhere's no need" to take to any other professor for Chemistry. The absolute nicest guy and always interacts with students. He teaches the material and his tests are fair if your willing to put forth the effort.

Dr. Rajaseelan is one of the best professors I have had. He really cares about how his students do and is eager to help. He has quizzes every Friday. In recitations on Thursday, he hands out a review for the quiz and does the problems on the board. If you know the material on the handouts, you will do very well.

I loved Dr. R!!! He does all the notes on the board and goes over what types of problems are on the tests. Just do well in the class early on because the lab final and standardized final exam bring your grade down. I would absolutely take him again :)

Dr. R is the best! He is scary smart but doesn't make you feel dumb at all and writes all the notes on the board so you can write them down. He grades a little hard but if you have any questions he is always happy to answer them! Also, don't miss class because he will call you out at the end of class and ask "where is ___ today?" It's priceless.

Dr. R is seriously the best. I am a chem major and he is one of the fairest teachers I know. He is so helpful and will really help you succeed if he sees that you are trying your hardest. Take him for any class if he is teaching it!

The best professor I've had in school. Doesn't use powerpoints which allows the class to write examples down as he does and helps the class move at a nice pace. Learning comes easily in this class so try to take DR.R.

Dr. Raj is such a great professor. He makes sure his subject matter is relevant to real life, not just theoretical. He really cares about his students and will do anything to help you. Emails every student he has ever had about science events on campus or even just to help you get into classes that may be closed. Take him for every class you can.

Dr. R is my favorite professor at Millersville. I took him for a CHEM101 Gen ed, and was so worried because I'm horrible at chemistry. However, he takes the time and explains everything clearly and writes it all out on the board. It makes the tests and quizzes easy. You will get an A if you go to class. Plus, he is the nicest person ever!

Dr. R is a wonderful professor! You will leave his lectures knowing exactly what you need to know for the test. He is concise, thorough, organized, (has great handwriting) and never leaves you confused or second guessing! Incredible teaching skills and very kind!

The entire class was lecture, but I didn't mind because he was really engaging. The class goes at a perfect pace and he makes the notes very clear. There are quizzes every week, which are not a big deal if you just review your notes. He is very clear about what he wants from you. Do attend class, he gives attendance assignments at random.

Dr. R is a great professor who genuienly cares about his students (that show up to class). YOU MUST SHOW UP TO CLASS. If you've taken chemistry in high school his class will be a breeze, otherwise it's still an easy class. He really dumbs it down and goes slowly, and the worksheets he passes out, are similar/exactly the same as the quizzes.

Dr. R is the NICEST, most caring person I have ever met. He is so sweet and helpful, and he CLEARLY loves chemistry. If you have the chance to take this gems class- DO IT. Its easy and Dr. R is a lovely , funny person who will go out of his way to help you out. 1 time he told me he studies his students names in his office and uses their D2L pics

Dr R is an amazing professor! He doesn't overwhelm you with information and writes notes on the chalkboard which makes lectures a nice pace. He assigns optional homework problems out of the book; great practice for his tests and quizzes. He truly cares about his students doing well and is easy to access outside of class.

Dr. R was our professor for the second half of the semester after our regular professor had to leave. He was great! Made the material very easy to understand and always gave his notes to the class after a lecture. If you show up and pay attention, you won't have to do much more than that.

Dr. R is one of the best chemistry professors out there. He is very caring and wants to help his students. Do not skip class and pay attention because he tells you specifically what's on the quizzes/tests. I would 100% take him again, his teaching is very thorough.

Dr R. is amazing! I came into this class not liking/knowing much about chemistry, and by the end of the course I've learned so much and my interest has definitely grown. He tells you exactly what to study for quizzes and tests, and is always willing to explain things differently for you to understand.

Easily one of the most caring, and attentive professors I have ever encountered. He was always smiling, always available outside of class, and always invested in your success. He prepared you well for all exams and quizzes and gave well-thought-out lectures. He also celebrated no Ds Ws or Fs at the end of the semester by throwing us a party.

Dr. R is kind & a quality lecturer; his lectures cover the breadth of the course content & his course relies almost exclusively on test and quiz grades. The majority of exam questions are about significant content covered in lecture, however, there are a fair amount of questions that seem to cover minutia that are hard to guess what might be tested

Dr. R went out of his way to ensure that I understood the course material. He was kind and cracked plenty of jokes. He is EXTREMELY clear with what he wants on quizzes and exams and truly wants you to do well. He loves answering questions and harbors curiosity very well. Very easy to find outside of class.

Dr. R is amazing! He does not give homework, but there is a quiz every Wednesday. This is a course where you have to study a lot, but he is always willing to help if you're confused. He expects you to show up and harsh if you are consistently late, but as long as you don't do that, you should be good.
