He is a great professor. Yes there is a lot to do but he gives out A's like Oprah gives out cars. He is really easy and caring. He is pretty cool and very understanding about everything. He does take attendance but does't really matter. Gives a lot of extra credit.

The MOST amazing professor i have had this semester. His class his extremely easy, gives TONS of extra credit and assignments are easy. So there is no way to fail his class. He gives you the review for his quizes and exams, easy to study. The way he teaches history keeps you intrested in history. I totally recommend his class to take!! :)

Edward Roeder is probably one of the most student friendly professors out there for those that want to receive a good education. I have learned so much out of the semester because of him. His teaching method is easy to understand and is a very kind and thoughtful teacher. It's a fun class and arguably one of the best professors in the University.

He made the class fun and was very understanding when it came to homeworks in terms of second chances and understanding if life got to hectic. Unlike other classes in which they give generic homework that can be lost among all other classes, Roeder assigns homework that makes you think and give your own opinion on a subject. I started off with having Roeder's class face to face, and then had to transition into online. In either case, he is flexible and you can tell he cares about your learning. Most of the grades come from textbook readings he gives every week, but they are crazy easy and also fun to do if you like history. Highly recommend, he's the best!
