WAY over the top. He teaches what we will learn 'in future courses' instead of instructing NOW material. He curved everything because no one understood. Online homework= {40questions per assignment + 2 assignments per class + 4 parts per questions= TOO MUCH WORK} Difficult to keep up and cannot explain in different learning methods.

One of the main things I like about this professor is how willing he is to take the time to explain something to you if you didn't understand it in class. There was even one time he read a paragraph of Alice in Wonderland to the class, which was an innovative way to try and clarify ideas about logic. He's very flexible about turn-in dates as well.

Previous comments are for lower math classes. Do not take him for calculus 2, His lectures are incredibly boring. He wants you to only use his methods for formulas which aren't found anywhere except for the book he makes you buy for the class(which you fill out only in class). He is not a easy grader nor lenient. Heavy penalties for going to tutor

Professor Smith is the best math teacher I have ever had in my learning experience. The course itself gets complex with time but he works with you throughout. The workload was not too heavy. Overall, 6-7 data assignments which he discusses in-class plus math lab hw. Clear on deadlines.

He was an awesome Statistics teacher. He made difficult concepts simple, and was totally willing to walk you through the steps to solve. He gives plenty of extra credit, and will provide feedback on work before you submit. There are multiple ways to get the material based on how you best learn math / have time. I would totally take his class again!
