Very easy course. Writing summaries are a pain but worth the points.
easy A... no tests, papers, quizes. just chapter summaries of books like harry potter and the hobbit. when reading the text worksheets must be completed but he allows you to share answers in group before turning in. highly recommned!!!!!

EASY A...There is no other professor that is this easy in Intro to Lit. Trust me all you have to do is a bunch of worksheets, some chapter summaries on books, and NO FINAL oh and did I say NO FINAL

Dr. Christian is by far the easiest teacher I have ever encountered. For assignments you write letters to authors after you read one of their pieces, and you have three **** papers that if you stick to grammar rules and don't make them boring you get an A

This class was amazing and Dr. Christian really knew what he was talking about. He showed so much intrest in the topics that I completely understood THE CANTERBURY TALES in the original old english language!
NEVER TAKE DR. CHRISTIAN FOR THIS CLASS!!!! He is arrogant and thinks he is God's gift to the teaching profession. You better make sure you have the same opinion as he does because if you don't he'll totally make you feel like an ass.

Nice guy. HW consists of rdg one 10 pg. essay at night & writing a letter to the author. The next day in class u read your letter in grps. and then the whole class discusses their opinions on the essay. U also hafta write your own 2 or 3 three pg. essays

homework counts as 1 1/2 test grades, he isn't the nicest prof, he will not except homework late and you need a good excuse to have missed class. also if you dont' turn in a quater of the homework you will go down one letter grade

i have been sick since nov 16, today is december 8. I emailed him and told him i couldnt make class today, and he verbally accosted me in his response. I go to class more often than he cares to know, but when i do, i get no motivation to go back,my work is done, i just need to submit the last paper.

A 400 word paper due every class, but they are easy and you can BS the whole thing and still get a 10. 3 major essays that he actually grades. Know your grammar, write well on the 3 essays, and you get an A.
Doing the daily assignments are tedious, but easy. He likes to play the devil's advocate in class discussions. He wants students to form opinions and defend them. He grades his papers really easily. I got an A.

He grades daily worksheets which consists of filling out summaries of bible stories. Attendance is mandatory if you want credit for your work! But, he also gives you all the questions to the test and you can work at your own pace, as long as you hand in what is due that day. Easy A, if attend class!
This is an Easy A- all you do is hand in worksheets every class for 10 points. No tests. No essays. No final. Just discussion. Although I'd keep my mouth shut bc he is a liberal **** who has one preverted mind and if you dont have the same opinion as him, he'll rip your heart out

This was the easiest A for me so far. There are no tests, quizes,papers, or a Final. All you do it read books and talk about them. If you go to class and do your worksheet or write your summary about the chapter, you will get an A...and you can still miss like 3 classes and get an A

What a dick. Tells you he was an albright scholar at oxford over and over again. The most obnoxious, conceited, and self-congratulatory person I've ever met. Hated this class. Dr. Christian is a hard, roughly-tuned professor. He is not very understanding at all and his class lectures are not helpful for me nor my classmates to do well on his exams. In fact, his tests are very hard and he does not allow us students to keep graded tests for unknown reasons. Each time after exams, he still makes us do hefty loads of HW!!!!

This teacher is very arrogant, but I have to say that if you do the work that is assigned EVERY SINGLE DAY, it's an easy A. He gives you the test questions, so the ?'s on the test are all ones that you have seen before. Just sit in the back and don't say a word. The odds are that he won't pick on you (which he does to certain people.)

Easy, he is sort of annoying, but all you have to do is read the books and write the summaries to get an A. It is sort of a pain, but better than math. Watch movies every day when he is not giving you the ending of the books away. Oh well, easy A.
Really helpful, doesn't give exams. Just do your study guides and practice scansion and you're all set.

I really enjoyed taking Literary Analysis with him. He was passionate about what he was teaching and that got me interested in the material. There's a lot of work required for his section of this course, but it's managable. The only qualm I had with him is he had the tendency to be a bit of a ****.
Easy class- just do the homework and come to class and you'll pass. It's pretty much impossible to not get an A. There are no tests, but you do have to sit through some awkward sex discussions quite frequently. Don't take him if you're easily offended.
ARROGANCE PERSONIFIED! That being said, the class isn't all that difficult, and he recognizes who puts in the effort and who is wasting his time. No tests, a lot of easy work (do it & you'll actually learn something!) and a final that is possible to test out of mid-semester. Recommended if you're an interested student, stay away otherwise...
Whatever you do, don't tell him you want to become a teacher. He hates teachers. He thinks anyone who wants to become one is an ignorant fool.
You will hate him for the first couple of weeks.He comes across as a total snob,and acts like his opinions are the only ones that matter. If you give the class time you'll learn to appreciate the work and even him. He's genuine and passionate about his field of work. Be prepared to write 6 papers a week.

I thought I was going to love this class... but then I went to it. I was shocked when a student asked a question and he put the student down for asking that question! how else do we learn? just go to class and give him the feeling that he is always right and things will be fine. He really does mean well and you can sense that at times, but ugg.

I love this man. He is the epitome of a devil's advocate. Some of his comments and behavior offend a lot of people, but if you're smart you'll realize that he's just trying to push the class into interesting discussions and new ways of thinking. I would take him for every class if I could! Do the summaries and the papers and you'll have an easy A.
Dr.Christian's class is an easy A. You have to write a paper every day for class but he never actually "reads" them. He grades pretty hard on the big essays but the the smaller essays will get you the A. Sometimes his comments are completely out of line. He acts pompous most of the time...but if you can deal with him, its worth the grade.
He told the class not to pursue a career english related because it was too difficult and reqrd to much edu. Also said you'd have to relocate "alot". What kind of prof says that? I didn't pursue a journalist or Prof career and now I'm in a cubicle bored out of my mind. Thanks!
I took class during a summer session which means it was very easy. He made us read and write a letter to the author for every story- every night. Only 2 major papers. People who hate him prob just didn't do work or accepted his ideas. He is opinionated and contradictory, but WITH REASON. He wants you to form your own opinions. KNOW YOUR GRAMMAR.
He thinks very highly of himself, but what proffesor doesnt, and he really knows his stuff. The biggest problem is the way he can treat his students. He can be discouraging.
I have taken him for 4 different classes. I got 100% in every one of them. As long as you do the assignments and come to class, you'll get an A. He is opinionated and arrogant, and I often disagree with what he says, but I liked him a lot.
Pretty good, he tends to think highly of himself and accomplished a lot of things 25 years ago, at least he says. A paper is pretty much required every day, at least 400 words long, unless it is a major essay, at least 1000 words long. The 400 words are easy because he doesn't really read them. Also, be prepared to change your opinions on life.
The worst prof I have had at Kutztown. makes inappropriate sex comments during pretty much all classes (his thoughts, insight to his sex life, etc.) no textbook needed, read individual books and summary for each day. 60-100 pages of reading a night. easy A but class in very uncomfortable.
Thought class would be good, first day changed that idea. Easy A, however it is EARNED by putting up with a pompous ass. Suffer through the ideals he pushes on everyone and you can get an A, but it was a dreadful experience. Not to mention he doesn't read your work at all, after awhile one doesn't care anymore and writes anything to fill space.
Dr. Christian is.... a character. The entire grade comes from doing chapter summaries of the books. I got an A in the class without even reading most of the books, and you almost always get a 100 on each summary as long as you just turn something in. If you're looking for an easy A in a Writing Intensive class, take this. This class is a joke.
Professor Christian is not a hard professor, however he assigns a lot of work. Every class there is an assignment due, which is typically 50-60 pages of reading, as well as a summary of each section that you read. Although it's not really hard, it took me nearly 4 hours for each of the 40 assignments. . . and by the end, you just want to give up.
He assigns too much homework for an intro course, 5 hours a night. All you have to do is read and write summaries on each chapter but it's very time consuming and as a college student it's annoying having to waste so much time on useless busywork when you have plenty of other real assignments that need to be done.
Take him for an easy A. There is a lot of reading and an assignment due every class period which is read the chapters he tells you to and then write a summary on every chapter. But, it's really not bad at all and he grades easily and if you don't participate then you'll get an A-. But, take him, im serious. He could be a little sarcastic too.
The class is really easy. All you have to do is show up and hand in your assignments, which usually consist of chapter summaries for whatever book he assigns you. However, writing the summaries are VERY time consuming and a little redundant. He also kind of seems a little cocky and he will make a fool out of you.
This class is graded solely on chapter summaries. You read about 45-55 pages and write a summary on each chapter in your reading. He either gives you a 0 or 100. He only gives 0s if you read the wrong chapters and didn't tell him. If you made a mistake, tell him and he'll still give you full credit. He's a cool dude with lots of cool stories
Easiest class I have taken, all you have to do is read the assigned chapters and write like a paragraph about it and hand it in and you get 100. If you can't go to class all you do is write in why at the top of your summary paper and he accepts it no questions asked. Books aren't boring either. He's very sassy/opinionated though.
The class is self explanatory. If you absolutely hate reading, I wouldn't take it. I enjoy reading occasionally, but this was even a lot of reading for me. Its about 40-50 pages a night, which wasn't terrible when I was enjoying the book. He is reasonable with excuses and understands you have a life outside of class and sometimes it gets in the way
The class itself is very easy, its the professor you must learn to tolerate. He makes rude comments having to do with students work or comments about what students are doing. The teacher is not understanding of excuses unless it is a doctors note.
Dr. Christian is interesting and not necessarily in a good way. He makes lots of inappropriate comments and is always talking about his love life for some reason. His lectures are very rarely interesting since most of the time he just talks about specific locations in the book rather than the book itself. I'd pass on taking him. Easy A though
He talks about the history where the book takes place then the book itself... boring. He is extremely rude and condescending. Makes weird sex comments and makes you feel stupid when answering questions. He expects you to know everything and thinks he is God. It was a good class if he didn't say something offensive(not typical). Easy A, lots of HW.
His College Composition class is completely based around finding the right job field and career for you, and it is VERY helpful if you do the work. There is homework for every class, but it's actually pretty easy work. We had 7 big essays , but again if you do the work, it's easy work. Don't miss class though, b/c he has a strict late work policy.
While the class has assigned papers/reading due every class, the class itself is very simple. You go in, talk about what you've read, then you leave. Most days, my class was let out after 30 minutes as long as everyone talked. He doesn't even read the summaries you hand in, but know what is going on in the book or he will double check your paper
In this class, you are given 5 thriller novels, of the prof. choice. You read the assigned chapters each night and write up chapter summaries on each to bring to the next class. It's out of 10 points but you must be in class to hand in the assignment, you don't come and you get a 0. There are no exams (possible final). Just be ready to read.
Easy class just have a ton of reading for each class as well as chapter summaries written up worth 10 points each class. The prof turns almost every conversation into something sexual. If we read 70 pages for a class we'd focus on the 3 pages that had the slightest thing about sex. Its incredibly annoying & his comments can be rude & innappropriate
Assigns close to 100 pages each night and has you write a chapter summary for every chapter. Has to be a lengthy summary too if you want credit for it. Expect to be reading and writing for at least 2 hours. If you dont come to class, you dont get credit for the summaries.
Dr. Christian way less credit then he deserves. A lot of students do not like him, but if you do your work correctly and interact in class, you'll realize that he is a great professor. If you can not be at class, just explain what it is, and he will give you the time to complete it. People that don't like to do work, will have a negative experience
i was annoyed that dr. christian taught our english course as a job-hunting class instead. he told us that if we had questions about writing well, we should Google it. he made awkward, rude comments about students' majors and their appearance. he actively talked down to students in class. lots of reading. easy grader, but not worth taking.
He is very inappropriate and uses sexually graphic language. I don't even think I can write the things he said to female students on here. Assigned readings and then had us write summaries of chapters and would then accuse people of using internet summaries. Good thing I learned how to read in Kindergarten because I learned nothing from him.
