There are no words to describe how frustrating this "professor" is. Unless you are a natural at physics or have the impeccable ability to teach yourself, DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS MAN. All he does is test you over things he doesn't bother to teach.

This class was the hardest class of my life. Harder than any chem class and anatomy. He is so experienced with the material that he cannot explain it to people who haven't taken physics in years. He also makes you feel stupid if you don't understand the way he is teaching it. I don't recommend this class to anyone.

Just cares about making money. He publishes his own books, the university buys his books off him, and pays him to teach the class. Not to mention the books do not get proof-read, there were tons of errors in the books. Some of the problems did not work out and there was no answer sheet to check answers. Expect to go to tutoring bc he won't help.

He doesnt grade your exams, but I never feel like I learned a lot in lecture. He doesnt do enough problem solving and when he does do problem solving, he doesnt explain every step. Theres not another option for PHY-151, so Id recommend taking it somewhere else.

He thinks it's funny when his student struggle not helpful all of his classes as of right now we're under 60%.

After multiple times of telling him that I had an IEP and he was supposed to sign it from disability center and he never did and I'm still struggling and I'm going to fail his class

I failed his class and I was worn prior to coming in not to take any classes with him because he has a very big ego and I completely agree with that along with the fact that his in his office hours he doesn't offer students help and tell students to figure things out on their own😬

This man was in intolerable the fact that I barely even passed is very concerning considering my whole class and other sections of it failed he also doesn't offer any support and he very much down places his students which is utterly sad because he's supposed to teach not be a smartalec

I had to withdraw from the class a month into being in the class, he has his attitude of being a know at all, and really thinks it's funny to have students in his class to struggle and the last straw was I went to his office hours, and he was giving me a hard time that grade doesn't matter and that I'm gonna be fine I had a 5% in class after I drop

Edwin Meyer made me cry every night before I went to bed He makes me and my classmates uncomfortable in his class as well as suffocated telling students that he's not at a grade quizzes and grading them every single day and failing everybody I'm at a 10% and I just don't know what to do and he refuses to help me tells me to figure it out myself

Me and a bunch of my peers who are currently taking his class and people who have taken his classes are sick and tired of the way he treats people and the school has not done anything to help please I beg of you do NOT take a class of any kind with Edwin Meyer

I told my advisor who I'm really close with in a different department about Edwin Meyer and the class I was taking and she was telling me how she heard a lot of bad things about him and doesn't really like what he does thank God I was able to drop sorry for those who are still taking the class

I'm someone who works in Casa as a senior at the university there was this girl that kept coming in I felt really bad for her. She was taking this class and how she was not getting the support and from what it sounded like the rudeness of the professor, unfortunately that professor we had to tell her does not work with Casa

I'm a 18 year old male and the professor treats me differently compared to my female peers, making jokes with them being a bit touchy some of them and I have a group together after class because were struggling my female peers were talking to me about how uncomfortable they are with him

I miss student with an IEP and I have been given no help for this guy‘s class. The professor refuses to sign my disabilities form and has made it hard for me to get any help for his class. I went to the chairman because I have to take another class with him, unfortunately I have been given no help.

It's the end of the semester and I'm at a 26.36% in the class I'm at a loss because the professor has given no indication that I will pass. I think he's a grumpy little gremlin with a big attitude and I talked to the chairman Dr. Jennifer Kadlowec about what's going on she hasn't done anything to help because of this, I will lose my scholarship

I saw someone talking on here about how he emails. I completely agree with how he emails. He is very rude. He also in person that's just very big ego person with an know it all attitude so unprofessional how he treats his students making them uncomfortable and the vein of existence

I have a couple of friends who take this class One friend went to the Provost about the professor and nothing got resolved. A couple of my other friends who take a different section then them we're talking about how they're treated differently compared to their male peers where he favors them more in a weird way

Edwin Meyer is probably the only professor right now that when I walk in the classroom, you can just feel the negative energy every class he gives quizzes out and every time I ask, how do I figure this out he tells me he doesn't know how to do it himself I withdraw because during his office hours, he argued with me that I wasn't trying hard enough

If you're looking for someone to be unhelpful look no further than this professor I went to his office hours gave me a discussion that I wasn't trying hard enough even though he tells his whole class that he doesn't know the answers and tells them to figure it out my grade currently is 30.23% in the class

I'm gonna need to hit the bar because boy The man's upset that students take other classes and worry about other things other than his than his is crazy (it's like have a life). He not good at teaching, but it's very good at failing me and the rest of his class.

There's a song that goes “ I don't like it, I don't like it here, you didn't like it, nobody likes it, nobody likes it here” that's every day in Edwin Myers class fails his students make students uncomfortable. He finds it hilarious when students are struggling and enjoys when students are freaking out about grades.

A friend and I take this class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's weird because he favors the both of us than any of the other peers. And he told us straighten the face that he gets a joy when he sees us struggle. The both of us are under 30% and with the final coming up I don't know if I'll be able to pass he's made us both uncomfortable

The was so mad about telling us what's going to be on the final probably because he wants us to figure out ourselves what is going to be on it also telling us the test isn't going be hard is not helping dude for those who are going to take a class with him don't we're all expected to fail and school has done nothing to help

The way the professor gas lights us students is crazy im on the verge of losing it because im at risk of falling his class and today in class we a assignment of connection the dots like how the F is that to help anyone on the final the whole class is under 60% we don't know what we're doing and everything we do is wrong and he's always correct

The school knows who he is and have done nothing about it, a waste of money over this guy, can't and doesn't even teach shame on the chairman Dr. Jennifer Kadlowec for not doing anything about it. I'm convinced the professor thinks it's a joke that people struggling and that he knows all the answers I'm a 18 year old female student who gets treated differently than the male peers in class it's weird and even the whole vibe of class is weird with his presence he keeps asking if we know each other names but we don't he just weird

So in class today he was upset about telling us what was going to be on the test I was like gee man no need to be heart broken about it probably because hes failing all of his classes and students are upset with him as to what he does in class

I'm in class every day and always show up. This man. Walked past me. Doesn't come up to me and help me forget I exist forget to hand me a quiz or a test while in class talks to other students every class it's clear that he doesn't like me and that he has favorites and plays that card every class

I'm a male financial major and the amount of times in class I'm questioned on my ability's on question on assignments that don't make any sense while the professor is saying “yes it's hard” “grades don't matter” and my favorite “the joy I see when students struggle” by doing this he really knows how to downplay and out smart us

Wish I wasn't failing I my final exam next's week and the professor gave us a lecture that the final won't be hard like that convincing I even think he expects us to fail for every time he says i enjoy kids struggling I emailed him about my concerns and he told me “I'm not building enough mental strength and stamina” and that “I should try harder”

This guy is unaccommodating as someone give a 504 plan. He never filled it out. The professor ignores me a lot of the times and made me uncomfortable in class and makes comments about how he enjoys, watching us struggle.

I never came across a professor that was horrible in treating his students until I met this professor. He has a big attitude and ego problem and knows how to downplay his students like I'm not even kidding you everything he says and does he's always correct in class and we're always wrong. Like, how was that learning?

I'm someone who does major in the physics department and I think this is a professor is the reason I want to drop my major and go do something else. He's pretty much telling me this whole semester that I'm not trying hard enough. Every time I send an email that I did the work. He tells me every time I'm wrong and doesn't tell me how to fix it.

I was warned not to take a class with him and boy the whole department was right he will fail you and won't help you and he will pretty much laugh in your face about it. That's what he did in front of me at least never been more disappointed in the professor than this

The professor scares me he has given me straight up attitude to me since the beginning and my class mates are always so quiet when he enters the room made think I'm not good enough and the work I do like nothing is good enough

For the people reading this call out the chair man of the department and the dean of students cause we're done with this guy as students please and thank you for those who have him as a professor or advisor DROP HIM he's only in it for himself not the students

I'm a woman in his class and he has always touched my shoulder and has flirted with me in front of my peers it's made me grossed out and uncomfortable he just dehumanize me and told me that I'm a failure and I shouldn't go to grad school

“You are talking other classes, you will figure it out yourself, grades don't matter, everything is easy in class” if yall want to deal with someone like this be my guest just be aware you will not pass and be expected to fail

The professor gives us these quizzes and tells us to figure it out on our own and puts us in groups with people and tells us to do the assignments together and figure it out on our own. He doesn't teach. He doesn't like when students call out his grading his whole class was failing when I go to his office hours he tells me I didn't try hard enough

He doesn't treat students with disabilities with any respect he just manipulates them and tell them that their failures like myself he doesn't give attention compared to when he's talking to other students in the class and students can never get a hold of him for his office hours

I can't wait for this man career to be over at this university so many people in the department so many professors he works with and outside of the department want him to be gone he thinks he's this big no it all guy and he's not even students look through it and are like what in the world is this

The amount of times I have reached out for help and have received nothing from this professor is insane. He also gives me a dirty look every time I walk past or see him like I'm very problematic for reaching out for help, but he doesn't grade any of the work I do and if he does, he just puts slashes on it and gives me no feedback

If you think that you're gonna pass this class, you're not he makes it hard for you to pass any of his classes. Me and my advisor don't like the guy because she also has a problem with him. He almost lost his job last semester because he failed all of his classes.

The professor said, in my face, that failing his would be good for me because it would help with building confidence. Mind you, I have a scholarship and I paid to be in that class. Made me uncomfortable, put his hands on me — he drained the life out of the class. It was a nightmare.

There was a lot of times he made me walk out of class and made me cry. Give me a hard time as well as my classmates in class made me wanna rip out my eye sockets. When I switch my advisor, my new advisor told me you should've dropped out this class you would not have passed.

While some may commend him for awarding high marks, what's truly “ridiculous” is the suggestion that we didn't earn an A. There were multiple instances where students observed behavior toward female classmates that felt inappropriate and unprofessional, further contributing to a negative and unsettling classroom environment.

When I told the professor I had an IEP, he ignored me, skipped over me in class, and treated me differently than my peers. He dismissed my emails asking for help, said I wasn't trying hard enough, and assured me I wouldn't fail—yet I did. He couldn't teach or support me effectively.

The professor knows how to make comments and make people feel bad. The professor was like a big bully that I probably dealt with back in high school. The professor also never taught anyone anything and made us pay $27 for a book that was poorly formatted. Don't waste your breath on this professor don't take any classes with him

As my advisor, he gave poor guidance and wasn't effective as a teacher. His methods often made students feel inadequate and disrespected treated us like garbage. I ended up dropping my major and him as an advisor, and I've since transferred to a different department.

I'm sorry for my classmates who had to endure a professor like that. I was fortunate—my advisor switched me to a different instructor teaching the same course, and the experience was so much better. I felt seen, supported, and actually learned.

That class felt like the Hunger Games. Whenever I struggled and asked for help, he told me to figure it out myself. He'd laugh when we got answers wrong and said he found it funny when we struggled. It was demeaning and made me sick to be in that environment.
