I absolutely love this guy. He's a great professor. He's always willing to help a student, explains things very well, and is easy on the eyes. I had him for General Chemistry I lab and was very excited to sign up for General Chemistry II with him.

Very good professor, easy grader, tons of extra credit. Knows he is a good professor and that he is smarter than the average human and is extremely arrogant. But if you pay attention in class you will definitely pass.

The best professor in the college, I agree. He does a great job explaining the materials. Even though I don?t love chemistry at all, I really enjoyed taking the course with him. If you have to take general chemistry, do yourself a favor and take general chemistry with him, you won?t regret it at all.

He is passionate about chemistry. I had him a year ago for CH 120 &CH 121, and now that I am in Organic I am doing great. He will make you work hard and you will learn the materials, but just be ready! He is a cool dude, he cares about his students.

Good professor but not outstanding. Comes off very arrogant but knows what he is teaching. He has a tendency to go fast but you still can catch on. He sometimes can make you laugh, which is a good thing because it keeps you alive. Overall you will learn and enjoy the class.

Very rare to come across a professor with such enthusiasm for the subject matter, as well as, breadth of knowledge. He is a BIG NERD who loves chemistry! His stories about the history of chemistry make the subject fun, especially about Gibbs, who I think he would marry if he were a live today, lol!

Dr. Jaber has alot of enthusiasm for chemistry and made this class fun. We had a couple of tests, online quizzes, online hw, and short lab reports. Lecture attendance was not mandatory but lab was. He gave you the notes ahead of time for the lecture. You had to keep a notebook for lab. I never used the textbook!

I took him during the summer course to get credit for my other school and he's the best chemistry professor I ever had. He makes Chemistry really easy and likeable. I wish I could have him for more classes, but I don't go to Worcester State! :( Just do the work & talk to him! Having him is definitely a positive experience! He's so great+friendly!

After taking Dr. Jaber this past summer, I would do it again in a heartbeat. One of the most clear, straightforward, and upbeat professors I have had. Not to mention one of the only science professors I have had that was not extremely arrogant. Life advice included in his class!

I loved the class, the professor explained everything in such a simple way, I couldn't help but digest everything. Not to mention he has absolute passion for his students. He would love to write recommendation for hard working students who are going grad/doctorate schools. Don't hesitate and apply his class ASAP!

I took both CHEM 120 & 121 over the summer with him. He made summer chemistry bearable because he gave clear notes, many opportunities for extra credit and was very specific on what was going to be on the test! I definitely would recommend if your looking for a good professor!

Had him for the last 23 of the semester, but he was waaaaay better than my previous professor. He can be kinda annoying with the things he says, but def explains everything and makes sure everyone understands. Attendance isnt mandatory but its hard to get by without notes. ALWAYS chances for extra credit! Highly suggest Jaber!!

Dr. J is by far the best professor I've ever had. Took him for CH 121 as well. He gives so much extra credit opportunities, only 2 exams which reflect the review packet given before hand. Online quizzes after ever chapter but you have a week with unlimited attempts. He has plenty of office hours and is always willing to help.

Prof J is an excellent lecturer and educator, he really cares about his students and makes the material interesting and easier to grasp. He is very engaging and enthusiastic in class, I recommend Prof J to any future students who has to take chemistry and is also interested in learning the subject matter.

Dr. Jaber is the best professor I have taken. He will repeat himself so you can actually get the material in your head. The class is very easy even for the ones that are not good in Chemistry. I took Dr. Jaber's class during the first summer session in 2014. He encouraged each small group "family" to teach each other and be there for one another. He loved to hear everyone's input, not just the same person repeatedly. His lectures were very insightful. He ultimately wrote me a med school rec letter. I will always be grateful for it.

Dr. Jaber is the most passionate, kind and intelligent professor I have had the pleasure of having in class. Not only does he thoroughly explain lectures, but is accessible during the whole day, whether it be email or a drop-in office visit. The material, and the semester was a breeze with him. He is warm, friendly and very inspirational.

As a freshman, I can tell that Jaber is a very experienced teacher. He assigns you small groups, or families, which really help! He always encourages his students to come to his office hours/PAL sessions. Many practice problems and extra credit are given during lecture. His online quizzes have unlimited attempts which are often taken for granted.

Professor Jaber is undoubtedly the best Chemistry professor I've ever had the privilege of working with. He makes learning fun. He covers a great deal of material, but the way he does it (sometimes he pretends students are molecules or atoms) is very entertaining. Also, charmingly self-deprecating. Good sense of humor, and closely follows text.

Honestly one of the best teachers I have had for a science course. He makes the class fun and he makes you actually want to show up and participate. Exams are easy as long as you do the practice/review problems. Guaranteed A if you put in the work. TAKE THIS CLASS

Dr. J is a very down to earth guy that wants all of his students to succeed. There is two exams and a final, having two exams leaves quite a bit of material between the second exam and the final but If you study you should be a okay. He has an open door policy which really helps. He makes lecture a good experience. I would highly recommend him.

Amazing professor that explains everything so well. Even in his labs he explains everything so no one is confused. He gives extra credit each exam that can boost the overall grade in the end. He shares some funny stories in some of his lectures and makes them fun. We don't have homework, just prelabs or a worksheet sometimes.

Dr. Jaber is a great professor. I had him for CH-120 and CH-121 and he was always very easy going and great at teaching the material. His lectures aren't too long so they don't get boring and he offers extra credit often if you pay attention to the lecture. He always explains things multiple times to get the point across and grades pretty fairly.

A lot to write down during lecture, but he records lectures so you can write down missing notes afterwards. He gives extra credit during lecture which is submitted the day of the next upcoming exam. Great professor, teaches it like he's talking to 5-year-olds so we can understand it all because it can get pretty intense. Almost everything on smart works is rarely covered in class with ending up spending hours to finish a quiz or exam that shouldn't even take that long. His labs are pretty cool but sometimes lab can run on lengthy.

He is a great prof. Homework is optional, quizzes are open-book, and tests are easy if you put in the work. Lab reports are also doable. If you struggle with chem take his class- he breaks down concepts and makes them easy to understand. Two problems: he takes a long time to answer emails, and he seems to always be in a hurry. Otherwise, great.

I love Dr. Jaber! He's very engaging, ready to help, and available outside of class. Tests were announced on the syllabus, but pop quizzes would be given if not a lot of people showed up to class, so attendance is heavily emphasized. It's a very tough class so absences should be avoided if possible. He's very understanding if something comes up.

I am currently taking Gen Chem I and Dr. Jaber has been my favorite professor this semester! He genuinely cares about his students and takes the time to make sure students understand new material. He gives ALOT of extra-credit opportunities and reviews guides for exams (very helpful).

I've never been more impressed with a professor's level of care, detail, and organization. He went above and beyond to ensure every student absorbed the material and applied it to the labs. He also encourages students to attend office hours if needed. Worcester State University is incredibly lucky have such a professor.

After taking this same class at the same school almost 15 years ago with a professor who left me feeling totally lost and traumatized, professor Jaber was able to completely turn my perspective around. He makes difficult material much easier to understand. Highly recommend taking his class!!

Literally the perfect professor especially for somethings as challenging as chemistry. He is very kind, engages with class well, and genuinely seems to care about students. He provides a lot of extra help (review videos, lots of extra credit, flexible office hours) and his labs are interesting.
