this lady is awesome. she is very very helpful. stresses the math lab and extra help also xtra credit. she reviews all the material. she takes her time and makes sure u get it.. she does everything step by step, awesome math teacher.

I took her for basic and thought she was great! She's very thorough and explains everything step-by-step. If you have trouble with math and need a teacher who is kind, thorough, and teaches well, take her.

I was bad at math and she actually made it easier for me, she did her best she wanted the best for her students, she was so sweet. I would like her to be my next teach. some people may think we got too much work but that was because its a prep class and it is required by law. If it were left up to her, we probly wouldnt get as much.

she takes the time to explain problems and doesn't rush thru examples,gives extra credit to make up on points needed on tests,is very encouraging(she said she used to be horrible in math).

She mentioned she use to be horrible in math, therefore she is very understanding when the students need help. Easy A, can be quite boring but strongly recommended.

She is very sweet but a little too soft spoken for me. It was hard to hear what she was saying therefore she couldn't keep my interest. She really does break everything down step by step, you just have to pay attention. I would recommend her for any prep class, just sit up front!

I took her for my first 2 prep classes, the accelerated 2 in one deal. She was GuurReaat. She Really cares about her students and wants to see them pass. She is a little quite but itss nice not to have one of those teacherss that are 2 loud. Over all she is very sweet and i recomend her to the fullest.

OMG This lady is AWESOME! She let me re-take a test because I had had a bad day at work!So sweet! Test corrections extra credit homework math lab you get credit for it ALL! Professor Eileen Doran makes sure that her students understand the topics in her mathematics class by giving valuable practice tests and explaining the material in a very organized, knowledgeable, and concise way. She is a great teacher for students who are either good in mathematics or for students who are struggling.

I am not a fan of algebra but this teacher made it easy to learn. She will explain something to you 10 times if it will help. She is also a very kind grader on tests if you show your work. You must show up to class.

Excellent professor, I wish she was teaching some other math classes such as intermediate, and even beyond. I would take her class in a heart beat. Great teacher, went out of her way to help everyone, and would be in her office when scheduled. She is very passionate about math and her lectures are hilarious.I'd reccomend her. I had some difficulty with my car this semester but I still managed to get a high grade, I worked hard the week of finals at the math lab, it really paid off I got a 93%.

Professor Doran teaches at a level that likely a middle schooler could understand - in a good way. She is super clear, breaks it down for you and simplifies everything. She made the course easy, even if the content was intimidating. I've never realized I could be good at math, and if I could take her for credit math I would take her for every class

This class and Professor Doran is the perfect class to take if the word Algebra scares you like it did me! Would take her again for future classes. Works several problems on the board with the class. Lenient on test grading by giving partial credit for problems that are not exactly right. She's terrific!

By far the best professor for math out their i am a really the worst at math and legit had no hope for passing even since this was my third time taking developmental but she really cared and helped me through it by far the sweetest and most caring professor i ever took if i can take her for everything i would she goes above and beyond expectations.

Professor Doran helped remind me of how important math is and that it is used in every day life. I've always enjoyed Algebra and her teaching styles were like a step-by-step manual, this was helpful since I haven't been back to college in a decade. This was just the pick me up I needed. I would recommend anyone to take Professor Doran. She was so helpful and explained the material in a way that was understandable. I have always hated math and I got an A in this class. She's the best!

She's clear when teaching and will break it down step by step. She says funny things to help you remember. Will stay afterwards to chat if needed. Will exempt you from finals if you average over 85% (only 9 of us made it). Do the work and pay attention. Did learn from how she taught, my lowest test/Quiz grade was 92%, not the case for others.

Prof Doran is amazing. I went back to school at age 50 and Math was not my best subject. She made things simple. She would stay after class and assist when needed. She truly cares that the students understand the work. I can say I dont hate Math anymore. At the moment!!!!

Hands down, BEST MATH TEACHER!! Wish she was teaching other levels of math. I never understood math and was very nervous my first day, however she made things very easy to understand. As long as you do the homework, do the practice test (practice test she lets you take home as a review) and study the material you should do fine!

Before taking this class I had been out of school for over 10 years and she made it so easy to get back into math. A lot of homework but great for practice. New stuff taught every class. Not a harsh grader on tests. Show your work and you will receive some credit. If you have an A at the end of semester you dont have to take the final! Love her!
