The BEST professor at UWRF!!! Funny, easy to follow. Weekly quizzes instead of big tests. No extra work. Final is commulative but not hard if you did well on the quizzes. I wish all the professors were more like her!

She's fun and teaches a lot per class period, but it seems to go by so fast. Her methods of teaching rock -- she makes it FUN. She can go a little fast sometimes, but she's always happy to answer any questions. EASILY THE BEST PROF AT UWRF.

She's hilarious, espcially at 9 AM. The humor is a little corny, but that's half of what makes it so interesting.

She teaches overview classes the way they should be taught: as overview classes. In astronomy she went through all topics without going too in depth and did just enough to inform and interest the class. I wish I could take her class again.

is a really fun teacher. wakes you up in the morning! does quizzes every week, not big tests. she doesnt have any "homework" which is nice. the quizzes are usually pretty easy!

Dr. K is AMAZING I would take this class over if i could! She explains things so clearly and tells lots of jokes during class. Theres a quiz every week but its only 10 points, theres no reading the book, or homework at all and she writes the notes along with you and never goes too fast!

She loves teaching this stuff. She'll keep you awake with her excitement about astronomy. If you miss class, she'll copy the notes for you.

Her humor was very goofy but that's what made the class so much fun. As long as you pay attention in class, which is not hard to do, you'll do fine on the quizzes, and she doesn't give out ANY homework! I would highly recommend this professor.

Astronomy is super fun with her. She keeps it interesting if you make it through the first 3 classes. Will make copies of notes for days you miss. Weekly quizes on last weeks lectures, easy if you read your notes right before. Final easy if you write down answers to previous tests and study.

Imagine a prof who says "I picked the book because the pictures were pretty!" and jokes her way through every class! That's Doctor K! Her class is amazing and she is an excellent prof!

I had Dr. K for astronomy and she was wonderful! Her very cheesey jokes kept class interesting and she is very enthusiastic about what she is teaching. Weekly quizzes were easy and final was also a breeze. Lots of extra credit offered as well!

Seriously, Science and Art (PHYS 350) is the course to take for your Multidisciplinary requirement. You will not only learn a lot in class but also have a great time too. You'll do well even if you're not a science or an art major. Dr. K is very passionate about the course material and very hilarious, especially when there are bugs involved. :)

Astronomy is really easy if you show up for class. There is a quiz every Monday on the previous weeks material. I studied for about 2 hours before class and got a perfect on almost every one. The final was extremely easy as well. It's a fun class and Dr. Korenic is the main reason why it's that way.

Great teacher, corny jokes, fast paced class. Uses a neat and organized note format, and if you miss she'll copy them for you. Quiz every Tuesday for ten points. They are easy if you took notes, and if you screw up on a few there is always extra "replacement" credit available. TAKE THIS CLASS.

Outstanding class... I have a huge passion for astronomy now! One of the best professors I've ever had. Take this class. You will NOT be disappointed.

Awesome proffessor. One of the only reasons I passed was her cherry attitude. Very funny and easy grader. Quizzes every Tuesday (or Monday) If you don't want to you can write a paper and not take the quiz. Lots of extra credit.

Very funny teacher and I highly recommend her. The class is easy 10 point quizes on the week before every monday and a 50 question final. She is very knowledge able and gives extra credit assingments which are super easy. The paper you write is kind of hard but if you know enough about your topic it is easy

Eileen rocks! I have had her for Astronomy and teaching Physics courses and she is the best! If you can take classes in the department at all, PLEASE DO! You won't be disappointed. They are great teachers!

Science and Art is the BEST class to take for your multidisciplinary! Even if you have no interest in science or art, it is an easy and fun class. Dr. K is awesome. Easy weekly 10 pt quizzes and the final is based on the material covered on those quizzes.

Eileen Korenic is a saint! She is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and she makes the lessons FUN, which is a huge plus in my book. All undergrads should have her at least once.

Ridiculously great teacher. Very clear and concise and moves fairly quickly, but it's not hard to keep up. No homework. Just weekly quizzes that are easy if you review your notes, which she posts online if you miss class. She's hilarious and passionate, just the right amount of entertaining. Easy class. Only have quizzes on Mondays, that's it. The rest of the classes are notes which she writes out by hand, so she is never going to fast. Posts the notes on D2L. This class is extremely easy to get an A in.

I think she may have had a standup comedy career before becoming an astronomy professor. She's absolutely hilarious and her passion for her subject shines though in everything she does. Her lectures are perfect: as she speaks she writes notes on a document projector, then she uploads those notes online if you miss a day! My favorite prof!

Love her! I took Astronomy with her and it's basically like this: Show up every Monday for a quiz, skip Wednesdays and Fridays because she puts the notes online. So look over the notes before the Monday quiz - they are non-cumulative.

Easy 10 point quiz's every Monday. No tests besides the final. I only went to class on Mondays because she posts the notes on D2L. She also drops your 2 lowest quiz grades and gives up to 20 points of replacement points if you attend talks that she has.

The best professor I had this semester. Absolutely fantastic, quizzes on Mondays and notes that she uploads verbatim online. Also, she is incredibly funny and obviously very passionate about her subject. If you miss a quiz, she lets you write a basic 2 page paper about the topic you missed to replace the quiz fully, no points taken off. Awesome.

I've had astronomy and science and art with her and they were my two favorite classes of my whole college experience. I wish I could major in Eileen Korenic. Attendance was definitely not mandatory but I wanted to go each time just because she made all of it so interesting and funny.

Dr. K is a great professor. The class consist of a 10 questions quiz on the first day of every week, a combination of the quiz questions are used on the final. She works hard to make classes interesting. I would love to have all my classes taught by her. I actually felt like I learned something in this class.

Dr.K is a fantastic professor. Seriously, one of the best here at UWRF. Her lectures are awesome, and I always looked forward to going to her class! I wish I had the opportunity to take more classes with her, and I definitely recommend you take her if you get the chance!

Dr. Korenic is an outstanding professor. Her lectures are pretty straight forward and easy to follow. She writes down the notes in class on screen so you can know exactly what to write. She posts the notes on D2L, but you learn more from her in class than you do taking notes from online. She often makes funny jokes, and she is very helpful.

Very Easy class, Notes are all online and the quizzes are based on the notes so you never need to go to class and still can pass with a B or A

Eileen Korenic is a fantastic professor who possesses an immense amount of knowledge and enthusiasm for Astronomy! There is an easy ten question quiz every Monday about the previous weeks lectures/note. She puts all of the lecture notes online so a lot of people only showed up on Mondays, but she really deserves to have full attendance everyday!

Best professor at the university. You learn SO much but have so much fun while doing it! Does science-y demonstrations during class. She told me if i ever want to go and talk to her about how hard it is to pick a major her office is always open. Did a one act play back in 2005. Despite uploading her handwritten lecture notes on D2L, but her lectures were so enjoyable to go to itself I felt no reason to even look at the class page. She has pop quizzes every early in the week (10 questions) and also offers opportunities for extra credit by attending astronomy talks. Take her if you have the chance. One of my favorites.

A great professor. Her weekly 10 question quizzes really aren't that bad as long as you show up, take notes and study said notes. You learn from her lectures, and most people are interested in the material that she teaches and pay attention to her. You don't have to show up since she uploads her notes online, but you'd be wasting your time, money.

I loved this class. I never thought I would love Astronomy so much. The professor really knows what she is teaching. The class is super straightforward, you know exactly what to expect. I love Dr. K! Shes so nice and easy to talk to! I have her right now for astronomy and she is so fun, when shes talking about something she brings in a little bit of humor, which helps considering I have her at 9 am. I would definitely take this class again. And her weekly quizzes arent too bad either, just make sure you look at your notes!

She write everything down in front of the class during lectures then uploads them unto D2L, which makes attention not so mandatory. 10 question quizzes every Monday and a cumulative final(STUDY!). There are many extra credit opportunities. As well as easy makeup points(Paper)

Eileen makes astronomy easy to understand, she tells relatable stories that you remember for the weekly quizzes. she offers make-up papers for if you miss a quiz (every Monday) and drops your 2 lowest grades. Great professor and now I have a physics class on my transcript.

If you're looking for the easiest class in the world and you like space, take PHYS117. Eileen is the most amazing prof I have ever had. She has tons of extra credit opportunities, is hilarious, and makes the class worthwhile. Quizzes every Monday but she drops your lowest 2 quiz scores and there's plenty of extra credit. I highly suggest taking it

Love, love, love this teacher. She writes the notes for the lecture as she teaches them, so you can follow along, and she posts the exact notes she wrote in class online. The notes are very concise and easy to understand. She's funny too, which makes an early class so much more bearable. No surprises on the quizzes or final. Its all from the notes!

Eileen Korenic is probably one of my favorite professors of all time. Shes an absolute hoot always cracking jokes during her lectures. The class is completely based on notes though she posts them to D2L if you missed the class. Quizzes on the content every Monday. If you dont think you did well on a quiz you can write a short paper instead!

Amazing professor that really cares about you and teaching you about something she is passionate about. You may not care about the stars and the moon before her class but after you will notice yourself looking up at the night sky and being able to point out just about everything. 10/10 would do it all again.

Eileen is the most beautiful gem I have met. I had Astronomy in North hall in the auditorium and I was afraid it was going to be all boring lectures. The class depends on note taking, however Eileen makes everyday worth going to. I think I only skipped 1or2 classes all semester. She is so funny and great and I would take all her classes is possible

Super easy class! Quiz every Monday and that's all that goes in. Quizes are on Quizlet and they are only 10 questions. Extra credit and drop 3 lowest quizzes at the end. Easy A if you want to take it ! She is older, cute and has a funny personality.

There needs to be more professors like her, she loves what she does, loves astronomy and it shows. Take her classes you wont regret it.

She honestly is one of the funniest people I know and she really knows her stuff that she is teaching. The only thing grades all semester is quizzes worth 10 points and the final. There is extra credit opportunities. She takes great hand notes that she uploads for students so you really dont have to go to class unless its a quiz day.

Take Professer Korenic! She gives 10 question quizzes every Monday so that is what your grade is based on plus the final. She gives 2 opportunities for extra credit and she drops two low quiz scores. Plus, if you'd rather write a 2 paged double spaced paper instead of quiz you have two weeks to turn it in after the missed quiz. You learn a lot!

Class was asynchronous, very easy to follow format. The grade was only the weekly quizzes and the final, but all the notes provided directly addressed what was going to be on the test. Super funny online lectures and easy to follow.

Dr. Korenic was a great professor. She wrote her lecture notes down with us while she lectured. Really easy class with just one quiz a week which was all that was in the grade book the whole semester. She was a funny lecture, and only gave us a textbook for us to have if we wanted to read it. There was no homework or extra work outside of her class

My favorite professor I've had by far. I loved Astronomy before taking the class and I love it even more after taking it. She is very easy to follow in class and she's very entertaining. Very little workload.

Great lectures that keep you entertained

This professor was my absolute fave, she is so funny and makes her subject fun. You can see her passion. Only flaw with this class was the final test was quite hard, it felt like a ton of fun facts that I could not remember. Luckily, she grades 90-100% as an A, so I got the grade I wanted.

Unfortunately, Dr. K got sick a few times during the semester and the course went from in-person to asynchronous to fully online, but in the time I got to be in her in-person lectures, they were a blast! She would start off every lecture by reading previous exit tickets (with a great sense of humor) and write the lecture notes with the class!

Super easy class. The only assignments are one 10 point quiz every Monday. This is a great class to complete general classes. Completely online.

Professor Korenic is such an amazing professor. While the course is online, her videos always make me laugh and make the class enjoyable. She doesnt assign any homework other than 10pt quizzes every monday from the previous weeks content and a final. I personally did not use the textbook at all.

Dr. K is literally hilarious and knows the content she teaches inside and out and goes above and beyond to do research even into silly questions students ask. Makes the effort to make the course interesting because she understands that the students in the course are not STEM majors and are also paying to be taught by a prof and not group projects.

If you need to take a science class, I recommend you take Astronomy with Dr. K! Dr. K is one of the most devoted and supportive professors on campus. When she lectures, she writes the notes with the class! She never assigns homework (only ten-point quizzes each week). Dr. K is also very funny; you will laugh at least five times each class period!

Dr. K is a fantastic professor. Her lectures are captivating and make me look forward to coming to class. There is a 10 point quiz each week but you only have 10-15 minutes to complete it. There is no homework other than reading in preparation for the quizzes/lectures. The final was hard to study for because it covered material for the whole course

Dr. Korenic is one of the best instructors I've ever had in my life. She's very funny and engaging. Her class is 100% lecture but I didn't even mind because she does such a wonderful job. All we did was lecture MWF and have a quiz every Monday and then the final and that was it. I loved learning Astronomy from her.

Professor Korenic makes this class super enjoyable. With just weekly quizzes and a final, the workload is light. I found unstuck ai helpful for quiz prep along with the provided notes.
