Study hard the class in not easy, she deducts points for stupid things but she is truely a great professor, very passionate about chemistry
The professor is a good teacher, but she is like a machine. Simply put, this is my experience: she's a grading machine.Gives quizzes every week, to keep us studying. Sometimes she should trust us as adults to study on our own. She takes off points for very stupid things and is steadfast in doing it. She's got no feelings, she's extremely cold.
Dr Perez is a really great professor. She explains difficult concepts in a simple enough way to be understood. I would recommend her to any science major.
She is a great professor and I would recommend her to anyone that truly wants to learn the material. She teaches with hand outs and power point which is really helpful. She is a nice person and wants you to understand what she is teaching. She usually drops your lowest test, quiz and lab. Very fair. She covers a lot of material in one class
great
Dr.P is AWESOME! She goes above and beyond to help you out with any problems/questions you have. She uses elementary methods to help you grasp the material. Your grade's padded so it's possible to pass but you still have to work for it. TAKE HER! She's an amazing professor! STUDY HARD for the 1st tests, get a strong start! Would take her again!
Dr. Perez is the best chem prof ever! Sure she takes off points for many things but that just keeps you on your toes. Prelab quizzes usually from prelab ques in the book. And she does give quizzes often to help you keep the book open for those who get lazy in between tests. Chemistry is hard period. Study hard and you'll be fine.
Dr. Perez is very hard. She grades extremely hard, she won't give you half credit. When i went to go get help from her and told her i still didn't understand she looked at me like oh well, sorry. She is a nice woman, but, if you want your GPA to go down then take her class. I was an A student until i took her class.
OMG she is the best teacher ever! I loved her for chemistry not an easy subject at all but study and do the hw problems she gives and you'll get an A. She spent multiple office hours with me going over hard concepts. Always available for help never turns you down. Ask a question in class she'll answer and explain it where you understand it!!! Loved
SHE IS GREAT...her methods of teaching make chemistry so much easier to learn and he labs are so straight forward..wonderful class, made me like chemistry
Dr. Perez is one of, if not the best chemistry professor at VCC. The material she covers is HARD (it's chemistry...duh!), but if you put in the time and effort, she will help you every step of the way. It's evident that she truly loves her job and cares about her student's success. I only wish she taught organic chemistry too. Highly recommended.
dr perez is the best teacher you will ever find. she is an awsome teacher, funny, clear, and very helpful. the material is not that easy, its chemistry. she makes it look so simple and will take the time to explain if needed. she goes really fast though,if you re not so good at chemistry you might want to use her office hours and a lot of studying
I love Dr. Perez. I took her for chem 1 and 2. Dr. Perez is a woman with impecable character and integrity. You will not regret taking her. I did not know of one student who didnt like her! Remember, Chemistry is hard so take the right teacher and Dr P is the right choice. thanks Dr Perez!! I am going to miss you!!!! TD
She is awesome!!!Very helpful, very funny. I love the way she explains even the hardest concepts. She rocks!!!Would recommend her to anyone. She IS a REAL TEACHER, very caring of her students and enjoying her job!!!!! Excellent professor!!!!
her methods of teaching make chemistry extremely fun and easy!!!! GREAT TEACHER !!!
lmao if you guys really believe what these people are saying in their reviews...yea she teaches like it's a high school but she also grades like theres no tomorrow...lol if you get the date wrong it's a minus 1...horrible professor.
She is an extremely hard grader. When test time comes, you better know EVERYTHING she lectured on. She is a good teacher but goes fast. Use her office hours frequently. I've seen her give looks to students who didn't quite understand including myself and her final is cumilative, chemistry will have to be half your life to pass well
She is amazing! Explains material in a way that anyone that ACTUALLY TRIES will understand. Read the chapters prior to lecture and actually do the practice problems she suggests and you will earn an A. She is always there to help her students. I was nervous prior to taking this class but I earned an A with her help. Practice makes perfect!
Best teacher at Valencia, chem. Hard class, have to do the work and study but can understand it.
Chemistry, naturally, is a hard subject. She tries to make it understandable with corny metaphors/comparisons. She cares a whole lot. Must be prepared by reading the text before class, print out notes, etc. Overall a very good teacher.
If you want to succeed in this class like many others, you need to work hard and study. If you do both and attend class, you will do well. She is a terrific professor. She makes sure that you understand what she is teaching, and will work with you until you do. Lots of office hours. I recommend her to everyone-taking her for Chem II
She goes through the material really fast. So be ready!
Dr.Perez is the best general chem. professor. If you like chen n really want to study it.take her! It s not easy to get an A. Studying hard is the most important thing in her class.;)
She is very nice and helpful, but very picky about lab reports and other assigments. Be ready to work very hard!!!
She is very nice and helpful, but very picky about lab reports and other assignments. Be ready to work very hard!!!
she is really nice, but VERY HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very picky with lab and sig fig numbers. Be prepare to work hard for your grade.
Chemistry is just, in general a very hard subject. She is a very good teacher but its hard to keep up because she goes so fast to get stuff done. A lot of office hours and VERY dedicated, so go see her if you need help. Very willing. Get a chem tutor or study group if extra help needed. lots of memorizing. drops lowest test grade. HW online.
Chemistry is just hard but she does her best to help you understand. Shes entertaining for a professor. She makes Chemistry fun. Notes are powerpoint and she lets you print the outline out. She drops the lowest test grade and Lab. grade.
Okay here it is cut and scratch, she is a good professor, but she goes really fast, especially towards the ending, and i mean FAST, she can be hard to comprehend because of it, and is very clumsy, on the light note, she is very nice, and helped me alot, her labs are hard but she goes over them and her tests are tricky so study it all, good luck
Did not like her. Grades way to hard and expects way too much. Does not explain all that great. Can take points off your grade for the slightest thing. Labs could be difficult. I would consider taking someone else. Only take her if there is no other option.
Horrible teacher. Not very clear on what she wants. She goes way too fast and will confuse a lot of students. Only one person had an A in my class, 5 B and all C and F. Many dropped and she will take off points for nothing. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!
Dr. Perez is awesome! She made me understand chemistry! (At least for 1045!) She goes through a lot of examples and if you do your part as a student and STUDY with the extra material she provides (her powerpoints, extra problems within each section) you will be confident in passing. I missed only two questions on her final! Awesome prof!
Hard class, and she doesn't make it any better. If you are REALLY good in chem then you might have a chance, if not you will fail. Labs and tests are super hard. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!
she is a really sweet lady and tries to make sure her students understand the material. she is very funny and intersting. The class is hard but if u try then you can get an A..over all she was great...its to bad i cant take her for chem 2 because of timing
Very nice lady, materials covered pretty basic just review thoroughly before test. She is very resourceful, she has good powerpoints and outlines for each chapter. Watch for sig. figs.(-5). Be on top of your work! Online homework, prelabs, and lab reports due every week. DON'T BE LATE TO LABS. Overall, pretty good teacher. Does not respond emails.
Such a sweet lady, very funny, but she's too scattered brain for me. She makes too much mistakes while teaching, and uses 'elementary like' examples. Her notes are helpful, but her tests are all written out and hard. Reccom taking intro chem before taking her for chem1
I just took her this semester. First time. I only did good in her class because she dropped the lowest test score and lab. She is a sweet lady but very hard class, if you don't study you will not pass with a good grade. Good luck to anybody who is taking her
I don't know what to tell you. Dr. Perez means as well as any professor that I have taken at Valencia, but Chemistry is (or was) my thing, and I really struggled in this class. I barely got a B, and I did twice the work in this class I did in all others. I would tell anyone considering her to be cautious. Find a good tutor. Work w/ others.
Very helpful, very well organized. She shows up every day enthusiastic and ready to teach. Very thorough in her grading though, she omits one of everything: Lab, test, HW, but she follows every calculation of every problem in what she does grade. I recommend her highly. She's high energy but understanding and helpful. Makes the material seem easy.
Excellent professor. If you really want to learn chemistry, take her. She will explain the material until you get it. If you need help with homework, whe will be there for you. I highly recommend her.
She is a great teacher. Makes class enjoyable. You should attend lectures because some of the test questions are the exactly the same. Of course you must study to do well in this class. Gives bonus questions/homework to help your grade. great teacher!
Do not take her. I am a straight A student and this was my first D i've gotten. She grades too harshly (-5 for sig figs) and covers the material really fast. Homework is online and doesn't help much either. Her voice is annoying too. If you care about your gpa: Choose someone else.
Very nice lady. Grades to harsh and incorrectly several people in my class received incorrectly graded papers with 2 grade letters off. Goes through material quickly. wants you to come in and meet with her for questions about the material. she wont answer them in class. Tests were hard. Not an easy A. QUestions were different from online homework
Teaches very fast. She doesn't explain things very well. Gives so much work. Her online homework doesn't help on her tests. Tests are hard. She grades very harshly. Don't take her class.
I love chemistry and over all enjoyed the content of the class, but there is a TON of homework required. Prelab and lab report each week plus 2 reading assignments and a VERY lengthy homework assignment at the end of each chapter. If you miss a class you will fall very far behind very quickly. I do not recommend this teacher.
She assigns way too much work, as if student have no other classes or lives outside of Chem. Grades too harshly. Online homework is confusing. HW material is not covered in lectures and in general the HW is unrelated to test materials. HW includes Prelab, lab report, online HW, adaptive HW, and reading assignments. It's just too much for one class.
She is super sweet and tests are fair, but the ONLINE PART IS HORRIBLE. Way too many online assignments, makes it feels like a hybrid class when it's not meant to be one!!!
stay away unless Chemistry is the only class you are taking for the semester. too much work. Homework doesnt help for the test. her syllabus states that materials don't discuss in class will be in the test. that will be the first time failing a class.
Unless you want to spend the ENTIRE semester doing online assignments.. DO NOT TAKE HER!!! That was suppose to be a HYBRID class!!!! I took online math and hybrid biology, and I truly didn't spend as much time on the internet as I spent on this class! Got an A in most of the testes, but ended up with a B because of the online stuff! DONT TAKE HER
one thing i love is that she is there for you she always willing to help,if you need help her office hours always open and you learn better. It's a lot of material but you in college what you expect. her test is the same thing she teach so pay attention. she works with you.
Professor Perez really cares about her students. Compared to other chemistry professors, I feel like she is the only one who provides detailed notes to her students. There is a lot of busy work required in the class. Her test are very difficult. She is ok, but you will have to work and study really hard to pass this class.
Safety hazard! If you're a student that work full time like me and don't have lots of time to be spending 3, 6 hours doing online chemistry homework and reading assignments before class, stay away from her. and by the way her final worth 200 points. I had a 75 C. I didn't to good on final which dropped me to a D. DON'T TAKE HER!!!
She's so amazing at what she does! At first I was scared to take her bc all the bad reviews on here. I took her a semester back, but If you try you will learn and pass. I have an A in the class and I try to learn. She truly knows how to teach and you won't regret taking her--unless you won't put forth the effort.
Very nice lady. She can be funny and likes to teach. Lots of online homework. Lots of Lab work. The homework and small reading assignments will take a large chunk of your time.
The class is very tough but if you need this class she is an amazing teacher and will be there at all times if you need help.
She's so helpful and by far the best professor on West Campus for chemistry. Take her and you will not regret it!
She is a great professor. She just gives a lot of tedious work. It will help pass the class but there is way too much, she needs to cut down on the work she assigns students because there are other classes students are taking, not just hers. All in all she is a wonderful professor, really nice. Get ready to work if you decide to take her.
Nice professor, but if you are not willing to study hard, or spend hours doing homework, dont take this class
Wayyyyy too much tedious work. If you're into that then be my guest. I will admit shes an excellent professor despite the unnecessarily large workload. If you have to know your stuff super well and dont mind hours of junk work then shes for you.
I must admit, she does give a lot of tedious homework and lab work BUT it prepares you for the test. She gives you an outline of what to expect on the tests and you will pass as long as you study. She is very passionate about chemistry and she gives real world explains to help students understand. The final is the basic concepts of everything.
Hardest class in my entire life. Would not suggest unless you are willing to spend hours on her class studying. The true and false on her tests is always the hardest part and I hate it. Stay away from her if you want to have an easier GPA. She is a nice lady though just a horrible professor.
This was the most well designed class I've ever taken. There is a lot of work, but with a purpose. She teaches you what it takes to actually retain the information that you are learning and is there to help readily along the way. Prof. is an amazing lady and I would recommend her to anyone. Don't be lazy, desire to learn, and you will do great!! :)
shes a very nice lady but horrible proffessor. Always makes mistakes that students have to correct. Hated this class so much because she goes very fast and doesnt know how to explain what she is trying to teach. would not take again and i do not recomend this professor.
She is really organized, had an outline and study guide for each chapter for us. There was quite a lot of homework that takes a while, but it helped. Do every extra credit assignment and make study groups. Labs aren't bad. Not a very hard course but not very easy either.
POORLY put together (how material is introduced, taught and practiced).I keep running out of type room, but the workload is RIDICULOUS, you wont even have time to study notes and LEARN, cause you'll be too busy trying to bust out the generally worthless busy work. THIS CLASS NEEDS TO BE STREAMLINED INSTEAD OF "KNOW PAGES 1-100 OF THE BOOK BY HEART
This class is EXTREMELY difficult, If you take this class make sure you don't have a job or any other classes so you can put aside time for the INSANE amount of homework you'll be doing every week. The amount of random worksheets that wont help you on the test end up taking away from time you could use to study real material. NEVER AGAIN
Though the course is rigorous and challenging, this professor is always available for help whether during office hours or through email. She answers any questions you have and will stop class and explain things again. She does give a lot of work, but it all comes with a purpose and prepares you for the tests. Study study study! Manage your time!
This has been one of the most difficult classes I've ever taken. The professor completely over loads you! Not only is lecture two and a half hours each class, but she has video lectures outside of class you have to do that she doesn't even teach. There are lab reports, pre-labs, homework assignments, reading quizzes and no curves. Choose wisely!
Dr. Perez is really sweet but she thinks her class is the only class you're taking. SO much work to do. You have prelabs and postlabs every week but she doesn't teach you how to do the prelab calculations so you end up getting them wrong. She teaches really fast so you don't understand the material. Homework + quizzes+ 5 test+ 1 final worth 200 pts
Don't take her if you are taking another classes. She's sweet but she gives a LOT of homework and assignments.
I loved her, her class is really hard, but it is worth, because in the end you understand everything. She is sweet and adorable, and loves to help ! Take her !!!
This class is ridiculous. She honestly thinks this is your only class for the semester. Tons of work to do! If you have a question she answers back in a rude way and makes you feel dumb. DO NOT TAKE HER!
Worst teacher ever. Not only is she a tough grader, she does not know how to teacher to save her life. We had to beg her to slow down. She tries to race the clock by teaching you important material in the last 5 minutes. Don't waste your time with Perez. DO. NOT. TAKE. HER.
This class is definitely one of the most difficult classes on campus, the professor is sweet but teaches very fast. Lengthy lab reports, pre labs, tests, reading quizzes, and homework. The pre labs are difficult because the professor doesn't teach us before hand, and the tests are nothing like the practice tests so don't rely on them.
Dr. Perez is very challenging. Lots of outside class work so be prepared to set aside a lot of time each week for that. Lectures felt rushed all semester, homework includes problems you don't go over in class. Tough grader especially on lab reports. Not much flexibility in this class. I would not take Dr. Perez again or recommend her to anyone.
Just don't it if you care about your GPA.
test reviews are not like the tests she gives.
She does not understand that students take other classes. she is the toughest grader i have ever had. you're pretty much taking a grammar course also with her. and tests are not like her study guides. do not take.
she grades like you have been taking Chemistry for a while. Totally unfair. not understanding at all. take anyone else!
Do not take her on the pure fact of how she grades. you will fail her class just because of simple errors.
I would not recommend taking her. There is so much unnecessary work that isn't beneficial at all. If anything, the unnecessary work can hurt your grade rather than help you. She gives pre-labs, which are pointless because you're trying to complete it, but have no clue what you're doing because she hasn't taught it yet. Again, TOO MUCH WORK!
Take her! There is alot of work (not hard work) between hw, lab &studying. Very caring and has no accent. Gives practice test which are similar to the actual test. There is extra credit. She makes the class easy to pass honestly. She's not a tough grader, she gives a grading rubric, follow it. Doable A, CHM is hard in general, just put in the work.
prelab is the most ridiculous assignment you'll be doing. Finds any error to mark points off. The tests are nothing like the study guides. She will lecture the whole class time and will cram the important material you need to know during the last five minutes. There is collaborative group days which also has no meaning.
Mrs. Perez is a good person but a horrible teacher. She goes way to fast and never slows down for the rest of the class. Her tests are very hard and are basically all math and no chemistry concept. There are very few if even some multiple choice questions on her test. She gives pre-lab questions filled with concepts she never taught. Never take her
Nice but way too fast. Doesn't cover materials on prelab so you're being graded on things you weren't taught. 80% of my class struggled. Tests were all math and barely and chemistry.
Dr Perez was wonderful for this semester. She goes over a lot of material in the class. A lot of people will say the class is hard, but its really not if you study. This class requires a lot of work to be done as the professor cant go over everything. Definitely do the study guides and practice tests, and read ahead. You should pass the class.
I can tell she really enjoys what she's teaching. She's very passionate and is easily accessible for office hours. Only problem is for a class that's almost 3 hours long, it gets boring. I admit I skipped a few classes and scraped by but didn't have access to the extra credit she gave in class.
Just DON'T.... Save yourself money and time and take another professor.
Dr. Perez was a great CHM1045C professor. Paying attention during lectures was crucial to perform well on exams and other graded work. Labs tended to correspond with that week's course material. She strongly encourages to visit her during office hours and is more than willing to help you understand where you need help. Studying is essential!
You basically need to teach yourself a lot of the stuff, Tests are tough, i would highly suggest reading the chapters in the book because the book approach is a more practical, instead her high logical approach,Lets just say calculus 1 is easier than her course.
An amazing teacher. Would defiantly recommend her. However heed my warnings. 1. Pre-lab needs to be done 2 hours in advance in case of problems. 2. Midterm is titration or lab 6 so understand how your converting. 3. Know YOUR SIG FIGS !!! you can loose petty points from that. May the force be with you.
Great professor. Very caring and is willing to help you with anything you dont understand. Material is a bit difficult at times but she is very good at explaining it to make it easier to understand.
You can clearly tell she cares about what she's teaching and wants students to understand the material. She explains things in a way that's easy to understand and if you don't get it, she'll find a better way to explain it that may make more sense. She's not heavy on homework at all. All we really had were pre-labs and the lab reports.
Dr. Perez is a great professor. She really tries to help you pass and gives you partial credit where due. Chemistry is not easy but she does her best to explain it well and is super friendly. I wish more professors were like her.
Great teacher, really cares about your success in the class. Fairly easy class if you show up and do the practice problems and tests.
Just don't... I have had bad professors, but no one has made me feel like chemistry is not interesting except her.
Time consuming work, proctored, only online calc/periodic table allowed, test r 50min(not even an hr)study guide/practice test not like test, more worried about cheating than u learning I'm engineering major taken physics n calc III w/no problems, n this the hardest class ever taken cuz of teaching style Her 1st time teachin online TAKE ANYONE ELSE
Tests will be worth 67% of your grade (40 something for tests and 20 something for final exam), with the additional portions of your grade having nearly no weight. Tests are hard and study guides are not as reflective of the actual exam. She is extremely nice, but can also not reply to your message if she does not want to. Do NOT take this class.
Dr. Perez is great! Our class was online due to COVID and she gave us a free pdf of the book to use and also uploaded recorded lectures each week with the corresponding chapters. Her lectures were great, she explained everything and there was a ton of chances to do practice. Read the chapters and do the practice problems and youll be fine
Very underrated prof. (can't speak for online) She was great at explaining concepts relatively simply and if you didn't understand you could ask during office hours and she'd walk you through it. The class itself isn't meant to be "easy" but it's certainly possible to do well if you put in the work.
Chemistry is a hard course itself, so you cannot expect to pass without putting in work. This course was online and she provides many resources and offer help to everyone everyday. Theres no reason not to do well unless you have not been studying and practice the problems she gives. Dr. Perez was a great teacher and always offered assistance.
Professor Perez's class was nice she does care a lot about significant figures so always keep that in mind when turning in tests, there were 4 tests and a final the tests were multiple choice and free response, the textbook was online and it was free and she answered emails very quickly, and you can get a 100 on the homework.
In my entire time in school, I have never been in a class that made me feel like dropping out. This class with this professor is extremely difficult. Her tests make up her entire grade and they all consist of trick questions. Her assignments have no weight so there is no way to salvage your grade. I had to pay for a tutor but it barely helped
Her tests were hard, but I am not giving her a low score bc of that. The reason I am giving her a low score, it's because she seems to b the type of professor that likes the "tough professor" reputation. The only test I failed was the finalm I got 90+ on the rest. When I reached her, she said that the term was done and that she couldnt do anything
My class was a mix mode (half online and half lab). The online part is harder than the lab, you will have to put more time and effort into it. Professor Perez is always disponible, and answer fast the doubts. The book for the class is free (what is awesome). Final test easier than the regular tests.
Took the class during the summer term which could be more challenging. She helps when needed but when she went over some things in class, she would go over what we needed to know very quickly which was annoying. Sometimes she also takes a while to answer back to your emails but overall I think she is a great professor.
2/3 extra credits. Weekly assignments: prelab, lab report, and a quiz. Quizzes are done in assigned groups, it'll help your grade if you and your group work together (everyone in the group gets the same grade). Tests weren't too difficult (multiple choice, definitions, and work problems). Only dislike was that she removed points for small error.
Very generous and kind. Offers so many extra credit points for every test. I have above 100% in the class. Chemistry can be difficult to understand no matter what professor you have, so I recommend her for those who struggle so the extra credit and easy lab grading can help. She offers many office hours to get help.
I took this professor for gen Chem 1 with a hybrid course. Zero lectures so be ready to teach yourself everything. Tests are worth your entire grade. Study guides reflect some of the test but not very well. She is a very nice person but her teaching still is challenging. Lab reports and tests are graded meticulously so always do your best.
Never again.
If you value your grade and sanity, take someone else.
I took her because she had a couple great reviews but they were all false. She purposefully tries to make things harder than they are. She kept getting the math wrong and teaching us the wrong equations luckily a few kids taught themselves outside of class and called her out. She says she'll look at your work for partial credit but she won't
Dr. Perez has high expectations for her students, but unfortunately, some don't rise to the occasion. She is the best choice if you are pursuing a science/ engineering major because you will end the semester with a strong chemistry foundation to succeed in more challenging classes. She is always available to support you if you ask for her help.
Take any other professor. You're going to be teaching yourself and the only grades that matter are tests grades. Save yourself
Dr. Perez is supportive and kind but the course is hard. Tests make up ~60-70% of your grade. It is not an easy class without time management and studying. The textbook is free. Provides some opportunities for bonus or extra credit on exams. Take the class only if you are prepared to invest time and do practice problems. Uses Honorlock for exams.
Dr. Perez cares about her students are is very passionate about teaching chem. If you ask for her she's always willing to help out. In class, there are some graded group activities so you wanna make sure you come prepared. Every week there is a pre-lab, lab, and post-lab. There are 4 exams, 1 lab practical, and 1 final exam.
Professor Perez's class can be challenging, but she offers lots of extra credit and is willing to help if you ask. Using unstuckstudy and the free textbook can make the workload manageable.
I took mixed mode with her and she provides online notes to fill out for every chapter. They are lengthy to fill out and take quite some time per week but if you get it all done and understand what you learn online then you should do well on the tests. The in-person labs were a bit tricky so going over it before lab is a must.
Dr. Perez is great! I did mixed mode class, so the lectures you have to do on your own. Chem isn't an easy topic, so be prepared to dedicate some time. The lab report and participation can help a lot, there's also some group activity worth points. The exam is heavy, and she uses honorlock with video. I wish she had Chem II classes.
Not the easiest class but I would take her over and over again for any chemistry class. I wished she taught all subjects because I never thought I could learn so much. Only the lab portion was in person but she has recorded lectures that arent too long to learn over the week and they are engaging and her class in general is constructed so well.
Ok so for this you need to study/review material. Shes very kind and always willing to help but if you don study you will fail. The text book and lab books are free, theres a lab practical and as long as you understand the lab and know how to calculate what is asked, you will pass easy. Study tho!
Test Heavy, 60% of grade. Has practice exams but exams are harder than the practice. if you don't study, you WILL fail. Free textbooks but I suggest buying the lab manual. Nice person. Has a lot of extra credit opportunities. Helpful outside of class. Does not post lecture notes online. Lectures are hit or miss, may have to self teach sometimes.
Dr. Perez cares about helping people understand the material (attend her office hours to succeed). Much of the course's difficulty is due to the requirements of the curriculum, and she has to work with its quick pace. However, she didn't curve the final when the average score was an F for some reason. She's great, but the subject is difficult.
