She's cool. She makes A&P fun and easy to remember.

She is funny, intelligent and has a great understanding of her subject. Her tests are not easy though but she does give you good study guides so if you're prepared to study you will get good grades. She is very approachable and has a modern attitude to teaching. I have recommended her to many people on campus. Her classes fill up very fast !

Dr. P is very funny. You will love her lectures as she has all funny imagination stuffs that really help you in A&P. Her tests are not easy. However, if you pay attention to her lectures then it's not a big deal. She gives you study guide to study before the test.

Preston is a fun and great teacher. Her notes for her lecture are on her website too! All you have to do is print out and pay attention in her class. She a FUNNNY teacher and drinks water throughout every lecture.

Dr. P is a good professor. You really need to stay on top of her classes and really make sure you understand the material because she expects alot out of her students.

Dr. Preston is a great professor for Biology 1406. Her notes and exam study guides are right on her web page. She picks test questions right out of them. If you pay attention in class her test are a breeze. She really knows her stuff, but still remembers how to party like a college freshman.

I had Dr. Preston for three semesters, and her teaching method is getting better and better everyday. She is born to teach Biology. Dr. P. is a born teacher! I have had her for A & P I and II. Her reviews are great, lectures are very interesting and organized. I would highly recommend her if you really want to learn A & P.

Dr. Preston is very nice but her class is on the difficult side. It is very fast paced. You will learn alot and her lectires are excellent but I do recommend recording them for use later. She has excellent test reviews that help alot.

Awesome teacher! Gives crystal clear reviews with usually 125 questions on it, you find the answers to those and she pulls 50 questions from it and uses that as the test. She posts all her notes on the internet so you dont use your book at all in class, just to find the answers for the review. GREAT TEACHER!!

Cusses like a sailor! However, pretty entertaining and an easy A if you know her study guides. Can skip class but be aware of her test dates because they can change. Gives a freebie on her tests and curves her tests a couple of points.

She's great! She makes the material pretty easy to understand and really helps you with test by giving you a review to complete. I feel you have to learn on your own because her class/test is more memorization to make the grade, but if you are going into the medical field you really need to self teach the material. I'd take her again if I had to

Great teacher!!! Makes lectures fun and interesting. The class is hard but as long as you study, study and study again you can do well. Try as much as possible to take lab/lectures with the same professors it really helps in keeping you on track because the teaching material will coincide with each other.

Don't listen to that last person! Dr. Preston is really funny! She talks 2 u like ur an adult, ur in college ppl, come on! She makes a hard class a little less threatening & knows her stuff. Shes super helpful, & is by far the best bio prof at TCC. If u fail its only b/c u didn't try & not b/c she isn't an awesome prof bc she is!! Take her 4 sure!!

This has to be 1 of da best teachers i've taken @ TCC. It is not mandatory to attend all her lectures but it's a smart way to go. She gives reviews questions that are on her test. TIP: don't just answer the rev. question go in depth or you'll probably be lost on the test b/c she expects you to u know the materials. Easy final comes from prev. test

Good prof. Study hard on the review and you shall do well. She tends to mark answers wrong on her grading key tho, so chk 'em all when you go over the answer key after the test. Other than that she is good.

Dr. P is an AMAZING teacher. The content is hard her teaching style helps you to learn! Print off her lecture notes, do the provided exam review & if you know the answers to the questions? You'll pass w/flying colors. She really helps you understand what she's teaching & she's funny. Her class fills up QUICK so register early! So much FUN!

Ok really, she DOES know her stuff! When asked a ? she, knows the answer; if it is something chem related (she always says she h8s the chem) she will look it up and get back to you if she happened 2 4get! If u want a prof that cares, is willing 2 help, & knows their stuff take her! I have had many bio profs & this is the only class I rly learned in

I'm going through the class right now with no book. but def buy a lab book. it helps a lot more. although I'm just using my lab partners. she gives you reviews and notes. pretty much hands you everything. shes really fun, and funny during lecture but definitely don't take her if you think its going to be an easy grade. your going to have to work.

Dr. Preston is a interesting teacher. Very Humorous, and knows her material well. DO NOT just rely on her reviews, because they are nothing like the test. Go through the power point and lectures, possibly the book too. She curves every test. This is not an easy A class, you have to earn it by working hard and studying!

Difficult class - Not an easy A. Gives great curves to all 4 lecture tests (difficult tests). Labs/tests very basic/simple. Make SURE to read and UNDERSTAND all chapters or you can fail the tests. Don't rely on the reviews and skim chapters; wont help. Only extra credit given is a pop quiz at the end of the semester. Your book IS your best friend.

She is an amazing teacher. She helped me out with a problem I had. Show up everyday, she doesnt take give you points for showing up, but show up so you can understand. Do the reviews, look over the notes and book. You have to do a case study but its not that hard. TAKE HER!

This teacher actually cares which is hard to find these days. You must study for her class but gives excellent reviews for her tests. Her name is known at all campuses as the best A&P teacher to take. Wish TCC campus directors and other prof's would take note....

I didn't buy the lecture book--just the lab book. Used Wikipedia for review answers. Seemed like no one in my class was able to get an A in the course. Tests are pretty difficult, but you can pass if you study her reviews. No reviews for the 2 lab tests, so be prepared to fail (both are difficult) if you don't study the handouts and worksheets.

A and P is a very hard course, no matter who is your teacher. Dr. Preston tries to make it as easy as possible. YOu know when the exams are, you get a great review. She is actually really smart, and still down to earth. She is not on a power trip, and realizes most people at community college have jobs, kids and other responsibilities. Love her!!!

i had her for bio 2 and both A&P classes, her normal style is 200 questions on a review 45 will be on the test and the other 5 are critical analysis, quizzes are harder than the tests, except for A&P now that it's changed, the tests were impossible our class never averaged a C, the book and lecture were useless,hated the class, she used to be great

HARD CLASS. I took Majors even though I am not a scinece major. But she spends a lot of time going over the topics. She quizzed us while lecturing before moving on; that helpd. Do questions at end of chapter, those appear on test alot.

Great lecturer!! She's very knowledgeable about the subject and enthusiastic about teaching her students. A&P is a hard class so don't even think about breezing through this class without putting out efforts. She's always there to help if you are willing to put out the time. READ AHEAD... it will make understanding lecture so much better!!!

Dr. P is very approachable and helpful when needed. You MUST use your book and STUDY or you will FAIL miserably. Too much material in short amount of time. No reviews, ever!! Not even for the Final!!! But her lectures are interesting. Good Luck!

This is a hard class. Please don't come into it thinking you won't have to work, read, study and go to her office if necessary. She is very helpful but YOU have to take the first step to contact her. She won't baby you. This is a great professor to take for a class, especially if you want to be in the health profession. I loved her and her class.

I'll be honest; I seldom attended lecture unless there was an assignment due or we had an exam and I made an 'A'. I read the chapters and used her outlines as a tool to reinforce my knowledge of the concepts. As far as lab exams; they're completely memorization and are very straightforward IF YOU STUDY! This course is not for the faint hearted.

I loved this teacher. Her lectures were all on power point which you need to print out ahead of time. She sometimes does a review in class of stuff on the test, but no concrete review which would really have helped. A really good teacher though for lab and lecture. So much information though so you really need to study and pay attention!!

DR. P is incredible. She teaches well, she is extremely helpful. no homework just quizzes that you get at the beginning and turn in as you go. Tests are hard. Studying is a MUST!!

The best Anatomy professor in NW ever! She explained well, easy to follow, printable outline. If you're struggling at the first few months on tests and lab don't drop yet cos you might get tons of bonuses! She gave us 80 points bonus for doing case study and others. She's willing to help.It is an extremely hard class but compare to others? no!

Dr P is so helpful, had her for A&P lab. She is very direct and straightforward as far as material to study for lab tests. She is funny also which helps you remember the material. Not sure how she is for lecture, I would def recommend her for lab though. Made an A+ in lab and lecture - took Bolin for lecture.

This is one of the best biology classes that I have actually enjoyed learning and it is because of Dr.P :) She explains the material clearly while also keeping you engaged in the subject. Take her class she is awesome!

Professor P is a great teacher. This class was very time demanding and difficult because of the amount of information covered but if you are dedicated and make this class a priority, you will make an A. I recorded her lectures and re-listened to them before tests,I attribute this along with how easy the lab practicals were to my A.

The course itself is a bit challenging. But she is a GREAT professor, very helpful and clear. As long as you study her test are easy and not tricky. Very easy on the grading and the Lab is fun and easy. Took her online :) textbook is required!!

Ok, I choose this Professor because she taught the first online LAB & LECTURE A&P course offered by TCC this past fall semester. From an online learning perspective, she was a great professor. Responds quickly. Test are hard, but fair. Lots of Learnsmart assignments, but helps your grade points. Read, understand the material, and you will pass.

This is a tough class requiring many hours of studying and hard word. Tests can be confusing but she is very open to going over tests with you and even corrected a couple of questions giving back points on one's she could see would be confusing to the student. Still in the middle of the semester so not sure what my outcome will be.

Dr. P is an amazing professor! She sums up all the difficult material down to stuff we can understand. Along with using real life, day to day experiences we can related to. She's always willing to help her students when needed.

Doctor Preston is an all out great instructor. Remember you are in college so you are going to have to work for this. Her class is tough but she will get you through the class. She will not give you extra credit she has online assignment which are completion grades. No test reviews, read book, take notes and you will do fine. Lab test are easy.

i took both of her 8 week A&P courses, and I absolutely love this professor. She has a great attitude, she cares about her students, and she really knows her stuff. Her lectures are always interesting and she always has stories to tell. No extra credit but she's very responsive if the whole class is having an issue with a section. Learned a lot!

I took Dr. P for both A&P 8 week courses and they were the hardest classes I've taken so far, but they are worth it! She's a great professor and is available to help you when you need it. Keep in mind this is college and an 8 week course, so a lot of the work is on your own. She gives great lectures and is really entertaining!

Everything is laid out for you at the start. If you fail, you didn't try hard enough. Dr. P makes sure that you know she is available by email, during office hours or her designated study center time so contrary to some reviews, she is there to help you. If you didn't take advantage, that's your fault. Wish she taught more courses!

Recently had Dr. P for A&P 1 and 2 for her blended 8-week course. It was surprising not has difficult as I had originally thought it would be. The lectures exams are all practical question if you read the book and powerpoint you will pass. Lab exams which was my favorite is all memorization not complicated at all. I give her two thumbs up.

Dr. Preston has been the best professor I've had so far! Her lectures are extremely throughout and interesting. She is interactive with the class, and tells you exactly what you need to know. She explains all her powerpoints with clear points. She grades and posts exams within a few hours. Shes hilarious and makes the class fun. I recommend her!!!

I took Dr. Preston for the 8 week A&P 1 and 2 and received A's in both. I had never taken A&P before. Her tests are possible to pass if you read the chapter. Really read it! The connect practice learn smart questions saved my life. Review your exams afterward so you can learn from your mistakes. It also shows her how much you care about the class.

Eileen Preston is the best professor you can take for such a difficult course such as anatomy. Her lectures were clear and straight to the point for what's on her exams. I came out of every lecture more confident. She also was a very caring teacher and would occasionally bring snacks. I feel extremely lucky to have had her as my professor.

Be sure to set time to study! Good teacher. Go to the SLC & SI Sessions! Go to her office hours! There are many resources on campus and off campus. Be sure to take notes and come prepared to class. Make flashcards. Lecture Exams is 40 questions. Lab exam's is 40+ questions. Record her during lecture. Get a planner. SLC gives prizes for going.

Dr. Preston is by far the best professor I've had. Her lectures are amazing and she goes into detail with each topic. She provides real world examples to help form connections with the material. I leave each lecture feeling more confident with the content. If you make an effort to read the chapters and complete assignments, you can pass.

I was nervous because I wasn't sure about taking this class online, but she made it work, yes there is a lot of homework but honestly that helped me learn the material. I really enjoyed doing the heart and kidney dissections at home. No pressure at all and great feedback!

Eileen's class is challenging but manageable with the right prep. Attend lectures, use the free textbook, and try unstuck ai alongside other study tools like flashcards. The workload is heavy, but with diligence, you can succeed in this course.

AP is hard, but Preston is awesome, just please do all ur work and ALL extra credit it makes a difference.
