Professor Ogaga was very straightforward in what to study to pass the class. Her tests reflected the study material. If you don't study, then you won't pass. She wants to make sure you know the material and does not grade on a curve.

She asks a lot of questions when teaching, so, know them well. Must spell correctly for lab exams or you lose the points. Very caring and supportive of students. Take her class but work hard.

Lab is very straightforward, know the pictures and structures in it, and you will do fine. Practice spelling. Note the questions she asks during lecture. She expects you to work very hard.
I am in nursing school now and can say professor Ogaga prepared me very well for it. If you really want to learn A/P and master it, take her class. She is tough but extremely supportive, always available to help you during office hours. If you hate studying, avoid her class. You must work hard for your grade. Lecture notes & ppt slides are key!

Study very hard in her class because she expects the best of you. She will fully support you. Follow her instructions thoroughly, and you will do very well in her class. Study something everyday.
It was an 8-week online class and every time I called her office or emailed her for help, she was quick to respond. Very straightforward about what you need to do to be successful in her class. Make sure you communicate with her regularly since it's an online class. Lecture notes, slides, and study guides are key to passing the class.

Don't miss class because her explanations are great! She will go the extra mile to support you. But you must work hard to earn your grade. Spelling counts for lab exams.

You must work hard in her class, but she gives you everything you need to do well in her class. You must study everyday for her class if you really want to learn. I highly recommend her.
I highly recommend taking Prof. Ogaga. She is a genuinely caring person and takes time to help students. She is clear about what will be on exams, so pay attention during lecture. Bring notes to class and have a copy of the lab manual. Exams weigh heavily so study, study, study! Also, she is accessible outside of class for ANY questions.

She inspires you to learn and know your stuff very well. You must work hard in her class. Use the lecture notes, slides, and videos. Her explanations are amazing, so, don't miss class. Professor Ogaga is very supportive, even outside of class. Follow her success guide on how to study for the class. Focus on her lecture notes and ppt slides. She really wants you to understand and know the information. She makes the test dates very flexible. She allowed us to text her our questions at any time of the day, and she replies quickly.
If you really want to learn, take Ms. Ogaga's class. I suck at science, but I made my first B in a science class because she taught me how to learn and study. It was online, but she provided so much help through Zoom. She cares a lot about her students. If you want an easy teacher, don't take her because she makes you work hard to earn your grade.
She is AMAZING! If you want a very supporting teacher, take her class. But you must work hard. You will learn a lot. Focus on the lectures notes, slides, and whatever she tells you all in class. She loves her students to ask questions, and she will drill you with questions too! It helps you see how well you know your stuff. We used the REMIND App.

Amazing professor! Will make sure you understand and helps with everything
She made an online AP1 class seem like a face to face class by being accessible whenever I needed her help. I wouldn't have made it through the online class without her amazing support and constant encouragement. If you do your part by studying like she advises, you will not fail her class. She's a caring, fantastic teacher.
Prof. Ogaga was honestly the BEST teacher Ive ever had. She is determined to help all of her students be successful and provides everything youll need to understand each concept fully. I took her 8 week course, studied about 6 hours a day, and finished the class with a 99. Its a lot of work, but its possible.
Professor Ogaga was NOT helpful at all. She has zoom recording videos that do not help you and are very long. She uses lockdown browser and will check the recordings. You can’t not look away more than 10 seconds. She is very tough. You have to so well on the exams to pass her class. The labs and her quizzes are easy.
Took her my 1st semester in school after 16yrs. Biology is a difficult class. If you're trying to do good in Nursing prereqs, then treat this class like a prereq. I could've got an A, but I started having issues in my home life that discouraged me to work hard. She makes everything so easy, interesting and she will help anytime you ask.
She goes above and beyond to make sure you understand what you are learning. She is approachable and you can text her class questions at any time and day. Don't take her class if you don't plan to study every day. I am well-prepared for nursing school because of her. You will learn a lot if you apply yourself in her class.
This was my first online class where the professor was greatly engaged with the students. Ms. Ogaga was in constant communication with us on the REMIND app. Her lecture videos are detailed and thorough (30 mins - 1hr long). And she shows you how to use them effectively in studying. She really cares about her students success.
"If you aren't ready to put in 12 hours per week, reconsider taking this course." She teaches through just reading a textbook. She's not understanding when it comes to extenuating circumstances. She threatens to zero out your exam scores if you don't show your ID, cause an audio irregularity (sneeze), or reposition yourself mid exam via Respondus.
Professor Ogaga is one of the best teachers for A&P. Memorizing will not cut it in her class. You need to understand and apply what you've learned on the exams. She explains topics very well. Lecture notes, ppt slides, & lecture videos are all you need. Study 4 - 6hrs every day and ask for help if you need it. She will teach you critical thinking.
Ignore anyone complaining about Professor Ogaga using Respondus LockDown Browser for her exams. It is required for her online exams and she gives clear instructions to follow. If you plan to cheat and not work hard, AVOID her class. She's welcoming and always ready to help you. If you want to understand A&P, take her class. She's a patient teacher!
I took Professor Ogaga for biol2121 and biol2122. She is the best teacher I had at GHC. A&P is a hard class but she makes it interesting, easy to understand. She will help you at any time but you must do your part in studying. Like she told us on the first day of class, A&P is boot camp for any medical program. You will not regret taking her class.
Professor Ogaga is passionate about teaching and making sure her students are prepared for the medical field. On the first day of class she informs her students of what is required to do well in her class. Take heed. If you rely on memorizing your notes for an exam, you will not do well on the exams. Study to understand. Ask questions if needed.
Professor Ogaga is great at what she does. She's caring, supportive, and welcoming. It's important to her that her students are equipped for next level education and that they suceed. Study, ask questions, engage in lecture, follow her advice and you will do well in her class. Her lectures are so interesting, because she teaches with passion.
Take advantage of the opportunities she offers to help you learn. Attend her Q&A Zoom sessions. She loves working with students but you must study. She will even teach you how to study. Her lecture videos are detailed and thorough, so watch and listen to them daily. Her tremendous support enabled me to do well in my first online science course.
It's true that her class is tough, but she will prepare you for the medical field. She taught me how to study and apply information which is something I have struggled with for so long. She is patient and caring but will hold you accountable in learning. Ask for help at any time and she will gladly assist you. I can't thank her enough.
I have never had a professor that cared so much for her students like professor Ogaga. She cares so much about her students success. Due to my job schedule, I would text her my questions on the REMIND app at night and she would respond. If you do your part in studying and follow her guidance, you will pass the class and learn a lot!
Thoroughly enjoyed her class! She is easy to reach if you have a question and is willing to help with anything in the chapter you might be struggling with. I really appreciated that she went over the questions you missed on the test with you to make sure you understood the concepts. The class can be tough, but she's willing to help any way she can
You have to go to every single class, miss one and you're screwed. The way she teaches works well for some people but not me. I enjoy interactive learning and she just sits at the board and reads the notes that are posted in D2L already and expects it to click off the bat.
The previous reviewer that says Prof. Ogaga sits at a computer and just reads from her slides is lying. This woman keeps you engaged in class, explains concepts so well, and moves around a lot to interacts with students. She uses questions to check if we are understanding the topics. So far, she's my best teacher at GHC. She gives a lot of support.
If you hate studying in advance for class and answering questions in class, don't take Prof. Ogaga. AP1 is hard, but she makes it easy to understand. You must keep up with the lecture notes & PowerPoint. As she teaches, she makes sure you understand by asking questions. She will help you, but you gotta do your part too. She's passionate!
She is the best
Run now. This professor makes material unnecessarily hard. You will have to dedicate 12 hours a week to this class to get a good grade. Her exams are on lockdown browser and she will nitpick everything from video quality to eye movement. Would never take again.
Ms. Ogaga makes it easy to understand in her class. She provides extra help whenever you need it. Yes, you must study for this class intensely because she prepares you for the medical field. If you are serious about the medical field, take her class. She is very supportive. Follow her advice because she will show you how to succeed in her class.
Professor Ogaga is the best. Her class is not the class you want to take if you want an easy A. You have to apply yourself and take the initiative. She really cares about your education. She offers zoom, texts, and teaches you how to study! Her lectures are very energetic and you can tell she loves to teach. Great teacher!
Don't be afraid to take Ms Ogaga's class because she will make sure you learn. She cares a lot and will guide you. A&P is no joke, so you better study hard. But Ms Ogaga will help you no matter the situation. She gives you everything in her class to do well, but you must use the materials effectively. She is truly among the best teachers at GHC.
I had Ms Ogaga for both A/P 1&2. The classes are for those going into the health profession. It's true that she will prepare you well. She does what's best to help you succeed, but you need to spend time studying a lot. Understanding her class lectures, lecture notes, & PowerPoints is key. Just memorizing information will not help you in her class.
She gives you everything you need to pass her class. She shows you how to use the course materials too. You can reach her easily at any time for help. She enjoys teaching and cares a lot for students. Just do your part and study every day. Awesome teacher!
Ogaga's class is straight forward. She is very clear from the very beginning that in order to pass, you MUST study. Do not expect an easy A. However, if you put in the work you'll get the A you want.
Professor Ogaga cares so much for her students that she will go the extra mile to help you succeed. Listen and apply her advice. The previous reviewers are right in saying she gives you everything to do well in her class. She will teach you how to study if you need that help and hold you accountable. She changed my perspective about A&P for good!
Professor Ogaga will prep you well for the medical path. Don't miss class. Her lecture notes, PowerPoint, lectures are key to doing well. She will go above and beyond to help you understand what you are learning. Always encouraging us. Very patient and compassionate. She is thorough & detailed in teaching. Take her class, but do your part too.
Prof Ogaga was awesome, lectures are more so performances with lots of class participation. Great fun. She puts in a lot of effort to class time and really doesn't appreciate people who don't come to class or come late. Tests are cake, review is provided. She uses the remind app and you can expect a response within an hour of texting.
Professor Ogaga is AMAZING. Her class material is very difficult, but she makes it doable. I went into this semester terrified, and she always reminded me that I can do it, and I did it. She is an absolute sweetheart and has a heart of gold. Be prepared for an amazing professor but be prepared to work!
Ms Ogaga's class is bootcamp for medical pathways. She provides a lot of support, but you can only succeed if you do what she recommends. Lecture notes, PowerPoint, & class lectures are all you need. She strictly enforces the class policies. So follow the rules. I am grateful she was my teacher because I am using her study tips in nursing school.
Taking A&P1 in 8 weeks is very hard, but Ms Ogaga made it doable. She was right about everything she warned us. This class is no joke! If you don't study for this class everyday to keep up, you can't blame Ms Ogaga because she works hard to help students learn. Her exams are based on what she teaches, lecture notes, & PowerPoint. Take her class.
Extremely helpful and encouraging Professor. She patiently guides you despite how hard the class is. Take her advice on how to study. Her passion for A&P is infectious. I wish I had her for A&P1. Don't skip class because she tests on what she covers in class. Lecture notes & PowerPoint are big for her class.
She was okay.
It was an online 8wk lab. Use the lab materials she provides. Take advantage of her office hours and online Q&A sessions. She responds quickly on the REMIND app. If you do the work, you will pass the class. Her class is very straightforward, and she will provide a lot of help if you need it. The lab manual info is the key.
Prof Ogaga really wants you to learn in her class and she grades fairly. You gotta do your part in studying, but she will always help you. If you don't like to be held accountable for a poor performance in her class, then you will not like her. She cares a lot so she will give it to you straight when advising and teaching you. I enjoyed her class.
I will be graduating from GSU Nursing School in May, and I want to comment that Ms. Ogaga gave me the foundation I needed to do well in Nursing school. Her A&P 1 & 2 classes were worth it. The study skills and critical thinking she taught me helped me tremendously. I strongly recommend her if you want to be prepared for any medical pathway.
Ms Ogaga is a terrific teacher! Her passion is to help you understand what she's teaching. Although it was an online class, she provided multiple options for us to communicate with her daily. She loves engaging with her students. She gives you everything you need to excel in her class. I highly recommend attending her Q&A sessions and office hours.
She is a wonderful detailed teacher! I had her for A&P2 lecture & lab. She lays out exactly what you need to do in her class to do well. Follow her advice. She's quick to reply to messages if you contact her. Focus on the materials she provides. She loves answering and asking questions to help students to better understand the topics.
Professor Ogaga made the lecture and lab very straightforward. She tested on what she covered in class. Do the textbook chapter readings before attending her lectures. She gives quizzes with multiple attempts to help you master the content. The lab was well-paced to help us learn without feeling too overwhelmed. I loved it.
Ms Ogaga is an excellent teacher. Without her patience and diligence to help me understand and learn, I wouldn't have passed the lecture & lab. Be proactive in asking for help whenever you need it. She will check on you regularly. Her lecture videos and lecture notes helped me a lot. She answered questions beyond class time through the REMIND app.
I could not recommend enough. she teaches you how to study. several prof in the past that lack responding, engaging or accepting feedback/questions. Prof Ogaga is there to help and wants you to succeed. Study her material and create questions from the notes to practice and LEARN/absorb material not just memorize material.
She will keep you engaged in class. She dislikes students not coming prepared to class. She will hold you accountable for keeping up with your studies. I love this about her. She takes your success very seriously. She creates a welcoming, safe environment for learning even through mistakes. Be ready to answer questions in class. It will help you.

It is also true that she provides everything you need to be successful in her class. Follow her advice. I took her lecture and lab courses and highly recommend her!
She is the best teacher I've had at Georgia Highlands College. You will not regret taking her class if you commit to doing the work. She will support you to ensure your success, but you must give 100% to studying. Her class lectures and lecture notes are essential to doing well. As she always says, "Study to understand, not to memorize."😀
Professor Ogaga made me love A&P. Of course the class is difficult, but the way she lectures makes it interesting. She cares for her students and is very open to any questions. She will help if you ask and check in on you. Reading your notes before lecture is a MUST. As long as you study, you should perform well in her class.
Consider taking a different professor. Her exams are exceptionally challenging. I took her course last semester and barely passed. Having experienced multiple anatomy professors, I can confidently say she is the most difficult by far.
She is an excellent professor. She is the professor to take if your goal is to learn A&P in preparation for nursing school. She will teach you how to study if that is your weak area. Her lecture videos are thorough and will help you get through the heavy content. She is not difficult but will test you to ensure you know the concepts.
If you only want superficial learning, Professor Ogaga is not the one to take for A&P. She is very thorough and passionate about teaching. You cannot just memorize your way through her class. She will teach you to understand the what, why, and how of processes. She is an amazing faculty advisor, too. She will go the extra mile to help you succeed.
HER EXAMS ARE EXTREMELY HARD! A,B,C,D,E AND SELECT ALL THAT APPLY. HER EXAM CLASS AVERAGE IS A 70 OR BELOW.
I highly recommend Professor Ogaga's class. She's a straightforward, detailed teacher. Her exams reflect what's on the lecture notes, PowerPoint, and what she covers in class. If you study and prepare well, you will pass the class. She teaches students to understand the information, not memorize it. Ask her for help. Don't be silent in her class.
She's an amazing teacher and advisor. She cares about your success so she will teach you to know the information well. Exam questions are straight from the lecture notes, PowerPoint and her class lectures. If she mentions something three times, write it down. I love how she taught us to create questions using what we learned. I enjoyed her class.
I had her for A&P 1 and 2. I am in nursing school now, but I had to leave this review to help students like me. This woman changed my life by showing me how to study and guided me through applying to nursing school. Yes, her class is really like boot camp, as she usually refers to it. You will learn so much from her. Listen to her advice and do it.
I cannot recommend enough if you are going into a healthcare profession. She cares about your success and wants you to understand the material so you can succeed past the classroom. Understanding AP1 & 2 is foundational for healthcare, and I am so thankful to have had her for the sequence.
Excellent teacher! Her lecture videos got me through the class, since I worked two jobs while taking classes. She always answered my questions promptly and taught me to study for understanding, not just memorization. Understanding the topics is key to doing well on her exams. Always review your exams with her. She is very thorough in her teaching.

Don't let anyone scare you about Ms Ogaga. She is one of the best teachers to take at GHC for A/P. I loved her detailed lecture videos in our online class. Very fast in answering questions on the REMIND app. The exams are truly based on the lecture notes, PowerPoint, and her videos. She is passionate about helping you understand. Take her class.
