super easy class, just review notes and you're set. i read where the red fern grows for a book report paper!! however, some of the information taught is inaccurate- we studied that henry the 14th, 15th, and 16th exist, but in reality the henry line ended at #8. oops.

This class is very interesting and helps you to figure out which field you may want to work in when working with animals. She only picks the best guest speakers and always knows exactly what to say to keep everyone interested!

This class is awesome. She makes it easy, with notes you print out and fill the rest in at class, and the tests are pretty easy. as long as you go to the class(which she makes fun and interesting) you can easily get a b. there is hardly any homework either, and no final exam, only a paper (which is 5 pages max). :)

Interesting class and not difficult. The professor does lectures off of power points you can print online and you go to class to fill in some blank spots on the notes. Low work load and there is no textbook required.

Initially entering into it I was not happy with the title of the class it sounded a bit unusual but to my surprise I ended up taking a huge interest in the class. I liked Dr. Marchello, she had a great enthusiam for the topic and it made things so much better. She has alot of extra credit opportunities, and the class was relatively easy. Loved it!

Before I started the class the name of it had me rather intrigued, and when it actually started it was rather enjoyable. It's a very straightforward class, all you need to do is print out of the web notes and attend class to fill them in, then look over them for the tests and it's an easy A. There is plenty of extra credit given as well.

This class was really interesting and can be applied to the human body not just animals. Requires a lot studying and memorization, but an A is definitely possible. As long as you really study your notes, will be fine.

Honestly, based on the title of the course, I expected the class to be different, more about the psychology of human/animal interrelationships, but it's more of a history class. The class is not hard, though the tests are all memorization, not concepts, plus 2 papers. Attendance is also mandatory, so make sure you're willing to get up at 8 or 9 AM.

This is my favorite professor so far; the tests are extremely easy and she makes the class fun. We got to watch Monty Python and whenever there was a major paper due, we would get to leave after we turned it in. The final is taken straight from previous tests. There is a lot of extra credit.

This woman is absolutely amazing. she is so funny and really cares about her students. I got a 100 percent in the class, (not kidding)! it is an easy A as long as you go to class, study the notes and seem interested. Her papers (2) are easy and the class is alot of fun. Two papers, easy grading, easy tests. You have to study, but as long as you go to class to sumplement the notes and read over them a few times, you're good. Interesting class.

I'm a junior at UA and Marchello is the weirdest professor I've ever encountered. She constantly makes jokes that only three or four people in the lecture laugh at (I guess they're the ones rating her on here). Take another Trad, they're far more interesting.

Easy class if you go to lecture and take notes. Best advice is to study with a friend and make notecards, there is no way you should get lower than an 80 if you just read the notes. Yes they are tedious but it requires little thought and effort. I would take this class over and over its so easy. Offers extra credit too

Easy EASY class. Four tests, drops lowest score. I got 98 and 96% on every test with little studying. Mostly memorization. Dr. Marchello is kinda strange but she knows the info shes teaching. The papers were graded kind of hard, but I still got A's on them. She offers a lot of extra credit if you go to class! If you dont her lectures are podcasted.

Class is interesting. Attendance isn't mandatory even though you have to get a clicker(EC is given during class though) ALL notes are posted on podcast/Itunes. Two easy papers due throughout the semester. Dr. Marchello is very nice, but a little cocky.

This class was a really easy trad class. Four midterms and the lowest gets dropped. We had two essays and one of them was a book report on a kid's book, as long as it had something to do with animals. If you are looking for a easy trad this is it. Marchello is really nice, I didn't directly interact with her but she was a fair grader and fun.

This was by far the easiest class i've ever taken. I never showed up except for test days and when the book report and midterm paper were due. She puts everything online! I went over notes night before test and had an average of a B on all tests, A on papers and ended up with a B in class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

She put everything up on the website so you can get anything you missed. Tests are word for word from the notes, so all you have to do is study your notes. Book reports were easy and fun. The final was questions taken directly from old tests (which you can keep) so it was incredibly easy. You can also contract it for honors- EASY honors credits!!

She is a fun professor and seems to really care about the subject. You can easily do well in the class, but you have to want to do well. A lot of memorization involved, but a very fun class. The only reason you have to go to class is to get clicker points because she posts every lecture online.

I read some of the comments and I decided I should post. Her test's aren't hard if you study the material. She reads off the slides as a guide, but includes other information as well. Class is fun and although not all the material interested me, most of it was really nifty - I'm an engineering major. I would retake this or any of her other classes!

GREAT CLASS! Material is amusing. Even though there are participation points, you can miss some. Get all the notes and read through them to study. She offers really easy extra credit if you're falling behind. She has some big assignments, but they are more busy work than they are challenging. No real homework. TAKE THIS, very easy.

The text book is just the notes from her powerpoints, you just fill in what's left blank. She offer's tons of extra credit! Any lectures you miss (or dont wanna go to that day) are posted online so you can still get the notes! Easy tests, final based off of old tests so easy to study for!

This is the easiest class you will ever take. Just go to class to get the notes or listen to the podcasts that she posts on line and you will be fine. The tests are really easy and are straight from the notes. They are basically the exact sentences. The final is based on the old exams too! Easiest class that you can take!

Easiest class ever. Everything on the exams is straight from her book which is what she lectures on. He is very nice an helpful in office hours as well. You do have to go to class though so you can get the notes and attendende points.

Very easy class! ppts and lectures are all pod casted. You don't have to go to class to get an A. She does take clicker attendance points though. all questions are straight from the notes (required textbook is just a book of fill in the blank notes). All questions on the final are taken directly from the previous tests so keep them! fun class :)

This professor was great! Her class was fun and interesting. Find a study group to study with! If you work in a group and quizz each other it usually only takes about 2 hours of studying to get an easy A on the exams. Her class does take a litte effort and studying, but its overall really easy.

Great class! Great for people not necessarily majoring in vet. science. Large class size, many distractions. Professor tends to lecture directly from notes, making attendance not necessary.

Marchello is an amazing teacher who genuinely wants you to succeed in the class. The textbook is highly used because it is exactly what the slides are just you fill in a few notes here and there. Overall a very easy class ans super simple to get a good grade in. :) If you get the chance to take it as a trad.. DO IT!! Totally worth the time for an A

Awesome teacher, awesome class, and just overall awesome! Uses the questions from old tests so find some1 how has taken the class B4 and you will get 100% on quizzes. Plus you get laied(with a lai) on the first day of class :D

Easy class. Teacher wrote her own textbook so all the questions on the test are word for word from the textbook. The topic is rather strange but it's interesting and easy to learn. I definitely recommend you take her class if you need this gen ed.

The class really isn't that challenging. The key to getting A's is to know EVERYTHING in the note packets. Also, keep up with the material because she does quizzes. She takes the top 10 scores out of 14-16 total. She is funny, and keeps it interesting.

Dr. Marchello is a good teacher, but her class wasnt what I expected. The class was much more boring tan I expected and I am interested in the feild she teaches. Its a good gen-ed class I guess, but its not very interesting. If you go to class and study you should do well, just pay attention and put effort into the class.

vet science. we RARELY talked about animals. Its kind of like a history class. Easy A though. She's a nice lady and participation points are daily on attendance. We did a book report and a term paper. So easy you feel like not doing it. 4 tests total and EVERYTHING is on the books (need to remember EVERY concept) they're multiple choice though.

Dr.Marchello is graceful. All the material is in her textbook. She also gives tons of extra credits. You only need to study a couple hours reciting her note and you will get an easy "A." She uses most of the same questions from her previous exams, so if you can borrow previous exams it would be helpful too.

This is a super easy Gen Ed and i highly recommend taking taking it. The only hard part is getting up at 8 am and there is clicker points everyday. Papers and test are super easy. Doesn't require much outside work. She is also super nice but a little strict on technology in class!

This class is ridiculously easy. Don't worry about the class being at 8am - I have literally shown up to class four times (for the four tests) and as long as you do well on everything else (which isn't hard) and do extra credit, it's fine to not go to class. Memorize the textbook material and you'll be fine! Would definitely recommend this class!

The book you buy are all the power point notes, and every chapter has the exam questions at the end of it. There is a book report, which can be Harry Potter, and a very simple research paper. If you are not a morning person, do not take this class. 8:00 A.M. are brutal and you will not go if you are not motivated to get up. The tests are easy and are right off the notes and previous years tests. Do decent on the papers and you will be fine.

Loved this class. cuper easy if you review you notes before the test. I never studied, just skimmed my notes before the test and got A's in all of them. Two shortpapers I believe which are both super easy. Take this class if you're looking for an easy A!

Elaine is great. She is one of the most personable professors I've ever met. I would definitely take her class again. Although this is my largest class, it's the one I look forward to most this semester. Not much work, but you need to buy a clicker from the bookstore. There is a book report and a term paper, neither of which is very difficult.

Dr. Marchello is an amazing professor. I love her teaching techniques and she always finds ways to make the class interesting so you never get bored. Attendance is not taken and you work out of a workbook. Notes are very easy to copy because she will bold the information that she wants you to copy down. Take her class!! It is at 8AM Mon and Wed's.

She could not be more clear, the book really prepares you for the exams. If you dont study you probably wont fail but if you use the practice exams at the end of the chapters you can easily get an A. I must say she is pretty funny but at 8 am I just can't laugh. And neither can anyone else, I guess. Dr M if youre reading this- I laugh in my head.

She's really funny but her lectures are really long. I loved her as a teacher. You don't have to go to class to pass. The lectures are all online. There are two papers that aren't hard at all.

Such a sweet lady, but her lectures are very long. She basically reads off of a slideshow the whole time and everything on that slideshow is in your book, except for a few things which you have to fill in. All of the lectures are online. I stopped going to class 12 way thru the semester and still got an A, you just have to study for the tests.

Elaine Marchello is a good person and a good teacher, she does offer office hours and is there if you need the help but with the notebook you have to get, basically everything on the test is in there. Oh yeah, and the final is all the previous test questions from other tests that she choses out so you see the same ones over again. Easy.

Professor Marchello is easygoing and makes the class interestingclear. This class isn't meant to be hard, as long as you show up, write the notes, and do the clicker questions. Honestly, an easy Gen ED and A.

This class was easy, and I found it interesting. The lectures were okay. The assignments were not hard; the essays were easy. If you show up, answer the clicker questions and take notes you will pass easily. Marchello is a great person this class was my easiest class.

This was a pretty easy class. The only issue I really had was with an assignment: read a book and summarize, then analyze each chapter. My book had 60+ chapters, and I got a letter grade taken off for length, despite doing all I could to make it shorter. Participation isn't mandatory, but if you click into enough classes you get extra credit. Lectures are super clear. There's a few tests and no regular homework. The two essays can be overwhelming though, unless you start them a week or two in advance. Otherwise, you're writing 15+ pages in one weekend. Overall, the class is easy and interesting.

Marchello made class fun. Although I hated having to get up before 8am, I was always interested in the lectures. The textbook was all fill in the blanks and every question on the midterm was on the final. There were two huge assignments that were easy A's and we also had guest speakers that brought animals to class. & we learned about dragons!

Such an awesome professor, there was no UNIV101 option but that's what I had her for. She's hilarious and while UNIV101 is a boring course, she made it fun and made people want to show up. A really nice lady, would totally take her again!
