Her expectations of us were very unclear. She would try to collect asignments that she had forgotten to assign. Many of us found it difficult to follow her lessons on statistics. Our night class often started late and ended late, without midclass breaks.

Dr. Olaoye is a very nice woman, YES! But nice only goes so far when your money depends on quality teaching. this woman is a disaster as a teacher. Much of the class dropped within the first 2 weeks of the class. I dont recommend this teacher!

She was always late. When I failed her first test, she didn't even help me go over the mistakes I made. She just handed me a book and told me to re-take it. I dropped her class.

This teacher was very unhelpful in this class. She was full of herself. When she asked us our goals in psychology she was very condesending. If it were not for other professors I would have abandoned this major because of her.

I dropped her class because she makes no sense! I did not understand a single writing assignment she asked for; and her poems that we were forced to read and write papers on, had nothing to do with psych.

Do not take Dr. Oloyae. I do not even know how she got a PhD. She was unclear on all fronts, left the class frequently for about 15 minutes with no explination, showed up late every week (including the first) She may be smart, but is a failure at conveying information she may know. Get out ASAP.

She teaches completely off topic. She degrade you in class and makes you feel like garbage. She made me cry! I hate her. She gives a huge workload.

Had trouble understanding her. She failed to make the class interesting, at all.

not only does dr. olaoye have an incredibly egotistical-i'm a phd, attitude .. but she is a horrible teacher, all she talks about is her rich and smart nephew and her hoome country, and she teaches new material as if the class has mastered statistics when really the class can not follow a word she says. do not take this poor example of a professor.

Her class is terrible, I had to drop it, she made me hate psychology, I do not know why she is still there teaching!

This stuck up snob of a professor made absolutelyt no sense in anything she taught! She was horrible do not take her. Her exams made no sense in anything we talked about in class!!! She assigned us this stupid portfolio project that had nothing to do with psychology. She really should retire and go to some island and sip on some long island tea!!!!

Best poetry class i have ever taken (it's also the only poetry class I've ever taken), unfortunately I was expecting a Psychology II class.... silly me. This arrogant **** makes you buy a book of poetry that she wrote. Oh, and she made us clap everytime someone answered a question... that was just annoying. I dropped the class.

We don't get any sort of feedback on our assignments, just grades when she feels like doing them. I asked to see a test because I wanted to go over what I got wrong and she told me NO!

She is the most narcissistic, incompetent, and demeaning teacher I've ever had and I've had a few. She talks about how approachable she is but is completely rude and will try to insult your intelligence. She is unorganized, late to class, and doesn't use class time effectively. Instead of teaching, she talks about herself. Time to retire.

Although she's a very nice PERSON, she's the most awful teacher that I have ever had! She was approximately 10-15 minutes late EVERY class... she actually had the nerve to DENY me of MY grades. She should be FIRED immediately... she has NO teaching technique whatsoever! I highly recommend that every student at Brookdale avoids any of her classes

DO NOT take her unless you want to kill your self esteem and also waste an entire semester attending a class in which you won't learn anything you're supposed to (SPSS, statistics, methods)

Complete waste of everyone's time and money. If you want to sit in front of a self-important, belittling teacher by all means take this class. Focuses more on her crappy poems than the actual subject.

She is an awful teacher who is late to every class by 15+ minutes. She is not very professional and often attacks students for little or no reason. She gets aggrivated when you ask a question.

Dr. O is incapable and unwilling to teach students the necessary material in order to pass the class. As a psych major I suggest anyone who's interested in learning or has an appetite for psychology should not take her class. Her assignments are ridiculous and do not pertain to the midterm or final. Self-loathing/immature. "Projects inadequacies onto students"-YES! Offensive, bigoted, hilariously pretends shes high class & puts down public college students, making her the worst choice for a CC Prof! Compensating for stupidity. Little digs at white kids' abilities, has axe to grind. Very class-conscious-won't let you forget it! Stomach turning.

By far the worst professor I have ever had! I am currently taking her online and when I asked for help she told me, along with the rest of the class that my email was "inapropriate!" Unwilling to help or explain further, tons of work, speaks as if she is above you, rude and embarassing. Don't give her a chance, you will end up dropping the course.

If you are a psych major and need this class do whatever possible to get a different teacher! You will fail, worst class I've had at Brookdale by far and I literally dreaded going to it. Boring lectures, I think I learned more by reading the book than attending her class. All the material is irrelevant and she talks down to students.

Perhaps the worst decision I've ever made was taking her online class. I've taken other online courses and it was fine, but her tests are IMPOSSIBLE and her teaching methods are not easily to follow. Also, she does not take constructive criticism on her class very well. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS, YOU WILL BE LOST WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK.

Only take her classes if you want to read her books and attend her poetry readings as extra credit. Her tests are fair but she is impossible to follow or understand. Only got a decent grade thanks to Amy the wonderful learning assistant in Psych department!

Her grading is as arbitrary as the organization of her syllabus. She seems to make the rules up as she goes. She is very smart and knows her stuff, but she is petty and callous. She ignores e-mails, and her her assignments are very poorly defined. Stay away!

This was the 2nd worse class I've taken and the 2nd worse provessor. I DO NOT REOMMEND YOU TAKE THIS CLASS. Her syllabus is mixed up and do not make sense, she expects way too much from students and I see her being IN LOVE WITH HERSELF AND HE KNOWLEDGE. This class was misrey for me. Her syllabus is very unorganized so its very hard to stay on top of your work. She is very rude and randomly snaps. Dr. O taught me absolutely nothing, NEVER TAKE THIS WOMEN YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I really do not know how she is still allowed to teach and even question how she became a doctor! Confusing, rude, talks in circles in class, wastes half the class time trying to figure out canvas to show on the projector. Never learned SPSS and gave barely any time to complete assignments. She only uses the study guide and does not walk you through steps of a math problem. The way she explains it and the book are to opposite things. So I did not take this class online, yet she required we listen to her online lectures after listening to her speak for 3 hours. Her lectures have no objective and make absolutely no sense. By far, the most pretentious teacher I had and makes you feel inadequate. Does not care about her students and expect an essay every single week.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. Dr. O is snappish, rude, and impatient. She is late to every class by at least 10mins. Makes us clap constantly like it's a talk show. Lectures don't make sense and essays are irrelevant to the material being taught. Her tests and quizzes are really hard and half the material on them isn't covered. AVOID!!!

Literally the worst professor I have ever had. She's a terrible teacher, refuses to give help, gives ridiculous online quizzes that you don't even go over about stuff we didn't even learn. Shows up 15 minutes late and tries to keep you 20 minutes after. Avoid taking her at all costs.

Taking this class means actually wanting an F. She is one of the rudest teachers I have ever had. You write a six page essay a week which contribute nothing to what you are actually learning in class. She shows up late, and then tries to hold you late after class. Makes you buy the book SHE wrote. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLASS!

Incredibly conceited and full of herself. Powerpoints are all decorated with smiling pictures of her. Requires you to buy her own book of poetry (Even though I never touched it; she gives handouts in class of the excerpts). Dressed "uniquely". Repeats herself instead of trying to understand your question. Couldn't get the videos to work in class.

NEVER take her class. She actually sent out an email saying "Asking questions does not make you look smart". Modules & Syllabus extremely unorganized and confusing. More concerned w posting photos of herself than organizing the material for the class. The way the tests questions were worded & some bizarre response choices made them difficult.

This class is absolutely horrible. She does not answer emails. She is not helpful. Her assignments do not make any sense and aren't clearly explained. I will NEVER take any of her classes again, especially online. She lumps her in person class with the online class so the assignments are out of order and some don't even make sense.

Run far away unless you want a ridiculous amount of work. RIDICULOUS doesn't even begin to say how bad it is. My friends are doctors, and ivy league graduates and can't begin to understand the level of work she gives us.

Her lectures typically don't make sense. She calls students out very often and it's embarrassing. She teachers her real life class like an online class. Most things are due days before her class. Her canvas is so unorganized, due dates for all assignments seem random. All instructions she gives for anything are so vague and make no sense, its like she never proofreads anything before she posts it. Her tests are ridiculous, she gives you 2 right answers but you have to pick the one that's "more correct".

Took her online class and it was the most unorganized, confusing class i've experienced at Brookdale. She does not take the time to make things clear and certainly doesn't care about the information getting through to her students.

She takes an average of a week to answer emails, it takes the whole class to email her to get her attention,and the tests have nothing to do with what she teaches. Offers no help what so ever. I should've dropped out sooner. Unorganized, rude, and conceited are the best words to describe her. i was confused the whole semester and i wasn't alone on how i felt. im sure shes smart, no hard feelings, she just cant teach. Do not take this class at all costs, and if you do... just dont.

Do yourself a favor and pick a different teacher you will struggle for the whole semester. She gave me so much anxiety I dreaded to go to class. I could skip class and probably learn more than from going that's how bad of a teacher she is.

I should changed my professor after the first week of sitting in her class. She assigns so many papers & expects them to be done in such little time. She expects you to only focus on HER CLASS ONLY which is ridiculous. It takes her a while to get back to her students through email. Don't waste your time with this professor.

I wish i dropped out she is probably the worst prof. i have ever had. She talks majority of the class about herself and her brother, the work and essay prompts are so so so unclear i have never struggled so bad in my life.

Half of what she says in her lectures is irrelevant to the class. She states her opinion on things that are also irrelevant to the class. I do not recommend taking her for one second if you want to pass. I try hard and still dont get good grades. She doesnt realize that we are trying our hardest. She does not seem to want us to thrive.

I took her for two classes. In our very first class, I was overwhelmed just from her giving us the syllabus details. She made us take some personality tests which was from the '70s and was so confusing. In the second class, she seemed unprepared. She also has us watch her online lectures... I'm not paying for an online class. Dont waste your money.

I tried to make it through this class but it was unbearable.. I dropped out during the 4th week and I felt so relieved after... her tests have nothing to do with what she lectures about or what pages of the textbook she tells us to read. She has papers due the night she assigns them which is cruel. Save your money.. dont take her

Professor Olaoye is easily the most complicated professor I have ever taken. I am in her online class and the first assignment she assigned us a group lab?? We are an online class and she left her students to pick groups amongst themselves. I emailed her numerous times with questions and help, and she never even answered my emails.

horrible. self absorbed. learned nothing, and felt stupid. Transferred to another school and when they saw the syllabus they rejected the credit. horrible. avoid at all costs. I'll never forget when she said that she is an "ivy" level professor, and she's at brookdale to level the playing field. Fat chance. Go teach there instead.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Started with 15 students and ended with 5 at the end of the semester. My entire section was failing so she curved the section so everyone passed, barely. Beware she will call your personal phone numbers for no apparent reason. Horrible professor who insults and belittles students when they speak up for themselves.

Does not listen to anything. I emailed her 7 separate times (yes, 7) because I did not understand the assignment. Every time she would tell me "thanks for your inquiry, read the module". I read the module a million times and nowhere did it answer my question, which I told her. She eventually stopped answering all together. Do not take her!!!!!!!!

AVOID this professor at all costs. She was my only option so I had to take her but trust me she's just as bad as the comments say about her. Never accessible & answers with "read the modules". Class started with 25 ended with 10. Gave no directions at all, everything was extremely unclear & confusing. Canvas shell is a complete mess & unclear!

DO NOT TAKE. Reading her assignments & syllabus was enough to give you a headache. If you emailed her a question she would call your cell phone and talk for 2 hours about everything but your question. Or would tell another student to answer your question instead of her. Course work was impossible to figure out SO UNORGANIZED. save urself the stress

She lacks any organization as the canvas page is all smushed into one big module, not in order. She does not give clear instructions and essentially you need to teach yourself how to use the program she mandates. Try and find a buddy to work with. ended up with a good grade as she curved the class cause no one knew what they were doing.

please save yourself the headache and read the other reviews, they are very accurate. except the 1 or 2 that say she is a good professor. she is easily the worst professor I have personally known or heard of. she was teaching a fully distance learning class that I registered for and tried to make mandatory zoom meetings. AWFUL!!!!!!!!!
