One of my better teachers. She takes the time to help and clarify. Very understanding.

She is awesome! Sis. Wagner really makes class interesting. She shows clips from movies and youtube. She also is realllly great at bringing the spirit to class. I never thought I could feel the spirit in a math class as strongly as I did in hers. She is amazing! Definitely take this class from her!

Great teacher. I hadn't taken a math class in over 8 years and she helped a lot. Her attendance policy i fair and tests are pretty easy, she reviews the entire test before hand. Don't have to take final if you got an 'A' on all other tests.

I generally hate math and am not very good at it, but I loved this class and ended up with a very high A. If you are worried about taking this class, take it from her. She is clear with what she expects, the tests are fairly easy, and she is very funny in class. A great experience!

Now I will say right off that I don't like math but sister Wagner is one of the best if not the best math teachers I have ever had. I have never done well in math classes but I did well in her class. Not because it was easy but because She is a good professor. TAKE MATH FROM HER IF YOU WANT TO LIVE THROUGH MATH!!!

Just do what she asks and take the time on her reviews she makes FOR you. It's hard to really get the info without her helpful examples so be consistent in going to class and do the work because it's on the exams. Everything is helpful and if you get stress she tries to help you out.

I really cannot recommend Sister Wagner highly enough. I'm really not much of a math person, but she made everything so easy to understand, and her projects are a piece of cake. She incorporated Gospel principles into math concepts which I really loved, and she's super nice and approachable. She's a dream teacher!!

This is the first math class I have had where there was not excessive homework, it is online too which makes it way easier to understand! Sis. Wagner is super funny yet spritual and clear with her teaching. She doesn't move too fast and learning the concepts is easy with her.

I can't possibly rate Sis. Wagner high enough. She is the most clear, most helpful, and most generous math teacher I've ever had. Her tests are reasonable, and you can do test corrections on one test. Additionally, she gives your grade a ~3.33% boost if you miss 3 or fewer days. Her homework isn't too bad, either. And she's social and super nice.

she will try to help you the best she can. My problem is she doesnt teach simple enough, she asks you to guess on her prep assignments and her assignments and tests are out of synch. Example you might take a unit exam and homework for that exam is due a day after. Or you might you will learn something in class and the homework is due a week later.

Treats her students like her own children, loving, fair, but strict, get your work done, ask her questions she loves to help you succeed and that is her goal. Don't put off work, and if things come up talk to her she will help and be understanding, she is very knowledgeable when it comes to math.

Class moves fairly fast covering a chapter about every week and a half. We do most learning on our own from homework in the textbook, but she'll answer a few questions in class and teach few principles that will help. Offers bonuses like a small grade boost for missing less than 3 times and fix one test to get half credit on missed answers.

The course moves swiftly, but Sister Wagner was always very attentive to how the class was getting the material and made appropriate changes. She trusts her students and makes you work, but thats how you learn. Highly recommend her!

Take Sister Wagner! Calculus is a hard class, so don't expect it to be easy. She allows you to do test corrections to help your understanding grow, and she is available for you to come in for extra help. Her explanations make more sense than my high school teacher's did. Also, Sister Wagner makes calculus fun, which is great.

The material is really easy. The class is organized. No crazy long projects. She is nice and it willing to help you, but she does problems on the board and will write the wring thing and mess up students sometimes. But someone would say that she was wrong then redo it but still, it would confuse kids.

Sister Wagner is the best professor I have ever encountered at BYU-I! Take a class from her if at all possible!! She is clear in her expectations, always willing to patiently help students understand concepts, she brings the Gospel into her lessons almost on a daily basis, and she made me enjoy a math class for the first time in my life!

Sister Wagner is really sweet and funny! I don't love Foundations Math, but I loved her as a teacher. She brings the gospel into her lessons and is pretty easy-going. She also goes through most of the projects in class, so if you have your laptop on those days then you can almost finish them in class!

Sister Wagner is probably the best math teacher I've ever had. Class was boring sometimes but she really made sure you knew what was on the test. She gives study guides whereas other teachers don't. She is very clear when she teaches and will clarify anything. She seems a little intimidating at first but she is hilarious.

This class was hard, but it's college calculus, so what do you expect? She gives out a lot of homework but she helps you with problems you don't understand. Her tests are hard, but she gives you study guides and goes over exactly what will be on the test. She offers "test repentance" to boost your grade. Really sweet

Sister Wagner is the best. She is kinda goofy but really nice and wants you to succeed. She doesn't take attendance but every class there is extra credit and her teaching is helpful. Not the most exciting class but if you have a problem she will work with you and be nice. Take this class from her.

Sis. Wagner is a great math teacher. Fun, good sense of humor, and great at relating the gospel to the subject. You can tell she takes her subject and teaching seriously meaning she wants to be there and won't waist your time. It's no reflection of her but I absolutely hate math 108. If you take it though, take it from her.

MATH-109 it's not an easy class! Requires a lot, a lot of work! But that's the only way to really learn. Sister Wagner is fantastic! She is one of the best professors that I ever had. She is always available for you and to help you with anything. She inspires her students and she's so clear to teach. She will not move forward if you dont get it

I would recommend Wagner because she is forgiving. The class did bad on a test and she gave extra credit to help everyone out. 109 is a tough class, don't expect an easy A. A solid A is possible though thanks to extra credit. She doesnt explain the hw very well, but the hw is hard and prepares you for tests which is nice. Good teacher overall.

Sister Wagner is SO awesome! What is expected in her class is very clear and doable. She answers everyone's questions and teaches in a very understanding way. Very effective. Loved the class and her. To get an A to have to do homework which is self-graded so you can get 100% of all of them if you do them. Tests are reasonable. I FULLY recommend her

Sister Wagner is a very unique teacher. I took a hybrid class from her, and I was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of work I had to do outside of class, so make sure you go to the tutor center often. She teaches well and in a very fun way. Show up to class, she is always giving extra credit. Don't procrastinate on homework or the projects.

She is more than fair. She is a good teacher and is nice. The class has homework regularly but it is online and you can redo it as many times as you want. Every test you get a notecard to bring into the testing center. You also are allowed to drop one test score at the end of the semester.

She is so funny! She is a great teacher and really will help those who need help. She starts class off with homework questions and we do that until everyone has their question answered. She does extra credit for random dress and grooming standard checks plus bonus questions on some tests. You grade your own homework with the back of the book.

Sister Wagner teaches very clearly and it's not hard to get an A in the class. She's pretty patient with her students and doesn't give out too much homework anymore. The only thing that is kind of problematic is that her test reviews don't represent very well what will be on the test. The homework and what she goes over in class is a better review.

Sister Wagner definitely knows what she's teacher and understands how to teach it well. I am terrible at math and I still got good grades on the test. She lets you use a note card on the test, it's very helpful! There is a preparation quiz on the chapter you were supposed to read due before class and then homework questions due after class.

She is a good teacher. There is a lot of homework and a pre quiz before every class (every teacher has those requirements). Exams are tough but allowed a flashcard on exam, she gives A LOT of extra credit. Make sure you follow the dress and grooming standards because those who do get more extra credit. Go to class for the extra credit.

One of the best teachers in BYU-I! She is hilarious and is there for you if you don't understand anything (just be sure to approach her). She responds to emails relatively fast and gives a lot of extra credit! Textbooks are required to further understand some questions, but they can be easier if you just listen to her lectures!

I took this class as a hybrid. She gives you extra credit practically every class period and explains everything you need to know for your exams multiple times. Sister Wagner is super hilarious without even meaning to be which only makes her class that much more enjoyable. Consider Wagner over other professors, you won't regret it.

Sister Wagner was my favorite professor this semester! Before every class a student volunteers to give a mini devotional and prayer. I loved starting off class with the Spirit. She is hilarious and very witty. She makes math a lot of fun. There are extra credit opportunities everyday in class. The material was really hard but she made it more fun.

There's lots of materials in this class. Sister Wagner is awesome, but I wish the semester is two weeks longer just as same as other university so that she can have more time explain the concept. Try your best to understand the concept. Don't just memorize the formulas.

I have struggled with math my entire life, so I was really worried about taking this class. I found that I actually understood what was being taught and that I enjoyed it. Sister Wagner is super fun and very understanding, talk to her about pretty much anything and she will work with you. I would highly recommend her.

Sister Wagner is awesome!!!! The class I took was Calculus 2, and it was really hard. But, it is just a hard subject for me. Sister Wagner is so nice, and teaches things really well, but I spent so much time in the math lab still. On tests she will sometimes let you use notes, and she usually lets you redo a few problems for 1/2 credit.

Sister Wagner gives lots of online homework. She is super nice, though class can be very boring. She gives out lots of extra credit if you follow the appearance honor code, so I recommend being in class as much as possible, though, it is not mandatory.

Fantastic teacher. She gives an extra credit assignment before tests, allowed you to redo your homework to get a better grade, and as long as you show up, try hard, and ask questions if you're confused, you'll get a good grade.

The fact I got an A+ in Calculus is proof that anyone can do well in Calculus. Sister Wagner explains Calculus concepts clearly. If you are struggling, she has office hours available. There are MANY opportunities for extra credit, so be sure to take advantage of each one. Sister Wagner is the best teacher for Math 112.

As I read through the remarks on here that others have left, I am confused as to the negativity. Sister Wagner is very knowledgable on the subjects she teaches and she is so caring and understanding. I love her and would reccomend all students take her class.

Tests are a huge part of the grade, but she tells us exactly what's on the test the day before the test. She's funny and entertaining. She gives you assignments about a subject before she teaches that something so you have to figure it out on your own, and those were hard for me, but some people learn well that way. I took this class in Spring 2019. Sister Wagner is the best! She is really caring and knows math is hard for most students. We worked on homework in most classes so she could help, some days we had lectures and some example problems and then did homework till class was over. Very sweet, I recommend taking her if your schedule permits.

Sis Wagner is a great professor! She is lenient about late assignments and will go over exams and homework to give you the most points possible. She drops your lowest exam score too! Sister Wagner's 108x class may only be a refresher math course. But it's super helpful to people who struggle in Math. The class content changes weekly with test being every 4 or so weeks. Test are about 50% of your grade, so STUDY! Class becomes annoying when you learn to use Excel for assignments, but can't use it on the test.

Sister Wagner was the BEST. I have never gotten a B in a math class and I usually have to retake tests several times before passing, but she formats the lectures so that everyone understands them and if you ask her to rephrase things, she always will!

I liked the class but Knewton was awful. She didn't review what was on the program and therefore was surprised about a lot of the stuff on the homework and how long it took. I spent an outrageous amount of time on homework. Overall I did like her. She's funny and I enjoy her personality. She has lots of extra credit. We do group tests.

I attended Sister Wagner's Math for the Real World class this past semester. I am not a fan of math, but she has made this semester awesome! There are no dumb questions in her class. She is super understanding and will happily go over anything you need or explain it in detail whenever necessary. I would give this class a 10/10.
