She 1 of the better info profs we have in MSU. Assigns alot of work and doesn't let you leave early. BUT you'll know everything when you leave the class.

Great class if you want to learn Access and Excel. Do the work which is easy and you'll be fine. Recommend this class 100%.

I had fun taking this class. Flannigan expects you to do all the work, and if you do you will be fine. The tests are on exactly what you learn in class and if you apply yourself you should do great and get an A! I even had fun doing the access project we had to do at the end. She is excellent!

Dr. Flanigan's class was one of the best that I took at MSU. She is very helpful and really wants you to succeed. She is always available for extra help as well. I got an A in the class and left there knowing the information like the back of my hand. Excellent professor!

shes a sweetheart but then again its either you love her or you hate her, i enjoyed her class i learned a lot and if you ever need help shell teach you until you understand it. its computers class so the smallest mistake means youll fail the test. definitely dont buy the book.

Dr. Flanigan was a awesomeeee professor. Everyone who says shes horrible is out dere minds she's a sweetheart and she really cared about us and wanted us to succeed in everything we did. The class was easy tho sometimes boring. You just have to do all the assignments and the tests are real easy. i would totally recommend!!

Amazing teacher. Will make sure you learn Excel by heart, because if you are a business major, that's all you will be doing. Yes, she is tough minded but will give you extra attention and help. Do all the work and at the end she will give you a grade better than you expected. This class is the only class that every made sense to me in Montclair.

There are two types of students. Type 1 want a degree. Type 2 want an education. If you're looking for an education and want to succeed in whatever you do, Dr. Flanigan will prepare you for that. She's not there to be your friend, she's there to prepare you for the real world. This was, hands down, the best class I've taken at MSU.

Dr. Flanigan really is NOT as bad as most people say. I will admit she is very strict in the classroom but as long as you do your work you are fine! Most of the work is easy too! I got an A and honestly didn't have to try that hard, just did my assignments on time. I learned a ALOT of useful information. I recommend her if you want to learn.

Dr. Flanigan is a great teacher she is very helpful! She also has had interesting work experience such as working for the NY Giants. The class uses a program SAM which is time consuming but easy. She is an expert in the subject and shows you cool tricks in the programs.

I took this course twice. Second time with Dr. Flanigan she made it less confusing and showed other interesting things on the programs other then SAM shows you. Shes such a sweetheart she really wants everyone to do well and if you ask for help she doesnt mind at all!! i would recommend her to a friend

Professor Flanigan is a great teacher. I dont know why people are writing bad reviews. She is very knowledgable in this subject. Her test are easy if you listen in class you really do not have to study. She does give homework but it may take an hour tops per week.

Dr. Flanigan is rude, very short, sarcastic and has no patience to nonsense. But this woman is a the greatest professor i have ever had and i transfered out of MSU to a top tier school. Everything she teaches, she teaches from experience and applies everything into real scenario. If your interested in excel then take her.

Professor Flanigan was such a great teacher. The workload for the course itself was a lot, but she made it easy to understand. She is so sweet and always willing to help during her office hours, and even immediatly after class. Her experience in the business world also helped put a reality aspect into the course. Overall, she was a great teacher.

There is a lot of hw assigned in this course, but if you do the work there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't get an A in the class. She doesn't make up your grade, you earn it by doing the work, the way it should be when you're in college.

She is a great teacher that really cares about her students. She explains the material so that you understand what is going on. Her homework is not hard, mostly online assignments. Loved her ! A lot of homework, but very helpful, and she applies everything she teaches to reality, especially if you are going to be a future business person. I think most teacher should teach just like her. Like she would say "She doesn't make up the grades"

Dr. Flanigan is not the typical professor that you'll see at MSU, she adds a lot of value to the learning experience and really knows her subject. By far one of my favorite professors. She is extremely dedicated and brings a real world business feel in the classroom. She shares with students her real life experience from the corporate world. Her lectures are very easy to understand. She is concerned with her students performance. Pay attention in class, do the work and get an easy A!!!!!!

When I first signed on to the class I looked up Dr. Flanigans review and I was very nervous because I did not know what to expect. On the contrary the class was SUPER EASY idk what everyone is talking about. Just pay attention and know what your doing. She's a great professor and I have learned so much in her class. Most of the other comments were spot on, except I don't think she assigns that much work. She's very nice, reasonable, and well-organized. Not a pushover though. Brings in real business advice. Attendance is a must! Class can be tedious if you already know basic Excel. I would def. take her again, wish she taught more info classes.

I would recommend taking Dr. Flanigan. She is the only teacher who cares about her students when it comes to understanding the material. Dr. Flanigan is a great professor. People who find her class difficult seriously need to reconsider their education as well as their direction in life. She gives clear directions and extensions, so if you fail then you're probably just lazy. I also like the fact that she gives you financial advice at the end of the term :)
