She wasn't bad. Geology isn't exactly thrilling, but she tried variety and the work was fairly easy.

I had her for intro to oceanography as a telecourse. The class was so easy! I made an A in there. She's very nice and the class was cool.

Had her for oceanography and earth space science. Easy online classes...excellent if u have friends in the class. MUST KEEP UP...dont fall behind. Must buy book.

I had her internet class..earth & envirnmt...really easy...use the book though...work can be kinda tedious but u can take the online quizzes over and over until you get a 100%...she responds to emails fast and is VERY helpful! Sweet lady!

This was a very boring class. She's a fairly easy professor but her lectures are soooo dull. She's obviously well informed and into the subject matter, but she fails to capture the interest of the students.

I took this class after I took her online to oceanography class. Let me just say this will be two easy A's for me. At the same time the material is definitely interesting. Anytime I email her with a problem she always helps me out. I definitely recommend her online class.

Take her class online. She is very easy in grading all you have to do to get a B is take part in the discussions and do the quizzes.......I strongly recommend.

easy class overall. Quizzes are actually harder than expected but can take them as many times as u want. Exercizes are a joke but make sure to do a WHOLE page - thats the only time u'll get full credit.. even though it might say "a few short paragraphs".

Gives alot of group work....if you do not like group work then do not take this class...also sometimes the work assigned doesn't match uo completely with the topic...

This was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken. I would recommend this class to anyone. The assigmnments are simple and to the point. I had the online oceanograhpy class. Piece of cake!

SOOOOOO incredibly easy, you know ahead of time how much work is required for an "A". you could potentially have an "A" by mid-terms. Everyweek a quiz is required ove rthe internet!!! you take it as many times as needed. A 50 word discussion and a page exercise on specific topic. Easy A,def. recomnd

quizzes can be taken as often as you like, discussions are easy and assignments are harder but not too bad. Lets just say that I got over a 100 percent and only opened the book to find some answers for the quizzes. It's a bit time consuming but an easy A for a gen.ed. requirement.

Class was super easy! She gives you the information on how to earn a certain grade at the beginning of class. The quizzes can be taken over and over and the discussions are easy! Great class for gen. ed requirement!

This class is so easy. You can take the quizzes as many times as you want and the discussions require little to no effort. The papers are detailed but if you go by the information provided you'll get an A on all of them. Take this class if you want an A in a basic gen ed course. Dr. Snow is also very helpful and gets back to you asap.

This class is the easiest A+ I've ever received. You can take the quizes as many times as you'd like until you get an A and the exercises are long but you only have to do 12 out of 16 and you usually get 100 no matter what you put. The discussions you can completely BS I'd take this class again if I could.

Easy A, If you go to USF take this class. Takes no more than 2 hours a week of material. Give extra credit and will to recieve late work.

This was a very easy class. If you stay on top of these assignments then you'll have no problem. You can even finish the majority of the class in about a week or so since it's online. Make sure you cite your papers, she's very tough on plagarizing.

Awesome Teacher!...Probably one, if not the best teacher at USF. Easy A if you do your work and are good at essay exams, and more than enough points to pick up an A+ before class is over. Take her OCE online class too because thats any easy A as well, and she's always there for any questions or help.

she's soo helpful. if you need a science class, take hers online.i've taken three online classes with her and passed with flying colors. she has it so that you know in the beginning of class and by the amount of work you do, what grade you'll get. she's awesome!

I took this course online...You can take tests multiple times which is amazing! The ONLY bad thing about this class is that the exercises were REALLY long, but not hard...I got an A! :)

This online class is super easy. She lets you know exactly what she wants and exactly how to get the grade you want. She responds to your emails, and lets you take the quizzes multiple times. I easily knocked out both of my natural sciences with her. Take this class!

This class is very straight forward and is an easy A. However, you will be doing a lot of writing. We're talking a couple pages every week. If writing is not your thing, then this class isn't for you.

Exams and discussions are easy, but exercises are time consuming. She is fair and responds quick. If you do well, you will complete this class in November (fall semester).

Super easy class. There are three parts to each chapter. A quiz, discussion, and exercise. It sounds like a lot but if you really want to you can get the class done and over with, it will only take a few weeks rather than all semester.

recomend to talk this class to boost up ur GPA coz its an easy A.... well professor is nice and fair... take it, but be prepared for the exercises, they are quite a bit of work... :-D

Just do the quizzes and atleast put some effort into the exercises and you get a B. Put a little more effort into exercises and an easy A.

Online Class, Very easy, and at the beginning of the semester you can decide what grade you want, and then do as much work as it requires from there. If you get 140 points total out of the 22 quizzes, so 220 points total, you get a C. And then on top of that, if you do 10 of 16 simple 250 word discussions, you get a B. Then A is u do assignments 2

I took her online oceanography class, it was easy, she is a hard grader on the written assignments, but the quizes are easy and you can take them over and over. Then if you miss a quiz she lets you make it up at the end of the semester, the only thing you can make up is the assignments, so do those and you will definatly get a B or higher

You do not have to buy the book for her oceanography class. She allows you to retake the tests multiple times however the questions are different some of the time. You have twenty minutes to take the tests so you can look up the answers online. There are discussions (for a B) and written assignments (for an A) every week, but they are easy.

Not an easy A but it is an easy B. This was online and the exerises are 1 to 2 page papers and to get an A you have to do 10 of them. But if you do all the quizzes and discussions you should get a B. You can retake the quizzes as much as you want.

This was an online class, which I probably won't do again because I always forget during the week to keep up with it and spent all day sunday making up for it. She grades the exercises harshly but it's easy enough to get a B.

This class was easy. All that is required is the weekly quizes, which you may as many times as you want to get the best grade, weekly class discussions and you have to view a different website every week and write a 1-2 page paper on it.

Class is easy, but to get an A or A+ you do you have to do your work, this class just requires a little bit of time, not much effort though.

I took Intro to Oceanography online with her and it was the easiest class I've ever taken. You choose your grade. However, based on a series of e-mails that went back and forth, it became evident that she is not all that competent. Still a nice lady though.

Dr. Snow is awesome! She is very helpful and resets a test as many times as you need to pass it. She even resets them all at the end of the semester to try to get a better grade but you can't get any worse than your highest grade so take them a bunch of times! I got an easy B and never opened the book!

She changed the syllabus the day after drop add from 3 papers to 13 papers. That sucks! On top of that she grades very hard on the written assignments. Don't take her unless you like surprises and you like writing papers!

Very generous S/U deadline. Does take a bit to answer emails but with several 500+ student sections conducted online that's to be expected. My only gripe is that I didn't get enough comments back on my writing so that I could improve.

The professor is ok. She lets you take the quiz 2 times & then 1 more time after all the quizes 4m that section is taken. Her writing asgmts r indeed lenghty every 2 weeks but you gotta do them to pass the class. I don't agree wat other people say about grading the assignments. The average on every asgmts was no less than 80% 4 about 500 stds in cl

This class was easy. I ended up with 110%. Scream in every paper that global warming is destroying the earth and you end up with an A. There are also two extra credit assignments, so i think that unless you don't do your work it is impossible to get less than a A. Quizes you can take and just look up the answers while you test.

How to succeed in Snow's class: EXPECT TO SPEND ONE DAY A WEEK DOING HER CLASSWORK and BE AWARE OF ALL DEADLINES SO NOT TO FALL BEHIND. Follow those two things and you're golden.

One quiz and one writing assignment of varying lengths a week. Not at all difficult to keep up with the work. It's easy to forget about an online class, to get an 'a' you just have to dedicate yourself to doing it.

SUCH AN EASY ONLINE CLASS! first one I have ever taken and I thought it was great. The work is not hard. I spent one day a week doing it. Some writting assignments took longer than other but as far as the 2-3 papers? there were only four of those total. I never wrote over 2 pages. EASY grader. and very understanding and would re open quizes.

If you can write, take this class! It all comes down to the writing assignments, if you set aside a day a week you should be fine! She is a so-so grader just make sure you support your details and turn in assignments on time. Easy A

This is one of the most helpful teachers i've ever had. She allows you to retake the quizes a number of times. Before taking this class I though it would be a horrible idea, but now, I am very satisified with it. Once again, she's willing to work with you no matter what...Definitely a good/easy natural science class to take.

This class was very interesting. I am a business major but I like geology! This class was very easy and the teacher is extremely helpful when needed. I would recommend this class to anyone!! Just keep up on your assignments and do good on the quizes. Don't blow off the writing, actually do them good and you'll be fine!!!

I don't get the boring issue. The class required reading the assigned chapters and doing the quizzes and chatting as a group 1 night a week. If you can keep a schedule you will get an A. Dr. Snow responed to me very well. I knew nothing of the subject, left well informed, but it was my choice to learn something.

Great teacher. Tries hard to make sure everyone does good in her class. If you get anything below an B it is your own fault.

THis class was so easy and she doesn't care if you work ahead, so work ahead and you'll have lots of time to do your other course work...quiz and writing pretty easy. No EXAM. Work ahead and you'll get an easy A. Don't wait til the day its due its just a pain if you do so work ahead if you can.

WOW! This class is probably the best intro oceanograghy class I have ever taken or heard of. This is by far one the easiest A's I have obtained thus far in college and I am a junior, plus the material was interesting, as well as, the papers! Take this class!

I loved this class, but I love writing. If you do not like to write A LOT, or do not write fairly well, I would advise against taking this class. Dr. Snow is great; always responded to emails & to offer help. I enjoyed the weekly online "office hours." I missed a set of quizzes, but even with that, I got an A+ and learned a lot in the process!

Like the review below. Easy A+. Extra credit is amazing. You can fin. all of the work ahead of time. I recommend looking over all the assignments to see if you have any problems with them. I say this now because of the time it takes for her to respond. I would ask her questions about papers due months from now so I would get a sure answer.

Class was fairly easy. Basically a quiz a week (8-10 questions, usually straight from the text), and one writing assignment a week. If you just read the material or follow along with the class, the writing assignment is actually really simple. Teacher is not terribly involved as far as communication goes, but does explain work clearly.

On-Line Class, Quiz Every Week. You HAVE to read the book prior to taking the Quiz or you'll fail. 8-10 questions per quiz, but you get 2-3 try's. Papers due every week that are short and easy. Teacher grades very well and is easy to contact. You'll read the whole textbook and learn more than you could have ever though possible about the ocean

Took this class online; it's an EASY A. Weekly quizzes are pretty easy. You can take them up to 3x. Papers are boring but easy to write. She offers extra credit that will definitely guarantee your A. She's HORRIBLE with responding to emails, so basically dont email her if its not life threatening. I recommend taking her.
