Ms. Davi is a great teacher. Her goal is to get the class involved in group activites. This style keeps that class fun and shakes the nerves off students. Make sure you read the chapters so you can pass the course.

My first actualy college class. the only thing that was really difficult was paying attention for 3 hours straight. Other than that..im taking her again for psyc 11. For me it was easy, I got an A...the trick is to study her notes and then study the book's test. I got 2 D's on test...but the extra credit makes up for the missing test points.

i am surprised to see all these people who didnt like miss davi!! i totally enjoyed her class and I got an A.she offers a lot of extra credit and her tests are very straight forward. everything that she lectures about in class is on the test, so she throws no surprises at you. PLUS.. she tells you EXACTLY what is going to be on the test!

I took both Psyc. 10 & 11 with her. Recieved an A for 10 (studied loads) - & C for 11 (only went to class like, 4 times & missed 2 exams). She is pretty "by the book" in terms of test/exams, so if you pay attention to her lectures & study often, you'll do good. Interesting lady. I liked her... wouldn't take psyc 11 with heavy courseload.

Miss Davi is an excellent teacher who respects and encourages your comments and questions. She is willing to clarify on topics and wants you to succeed. She has no surprises and even tells you what to specifically study. You just have to listen! She creates a classroom environment that welcomes student thought and questions.

She lectures the whole time but her lectures are interesting. She makes psychology easy to understand and I actually looked forward to going to her class. She knows her stuff and has no issue clarifying on topics if people don't understand.

Class is a no brainer. I got an A. The lecture is optional but i would go because it helps clarify everything that will be on the test and she stresses what the extra credit quizes will be on. As long as you do the SLO's and study them you will pass the class. The test are hard but she gives you the answers. I would take her again.

I took this class with not much interset in Psyc, but I learned a lot from her! There is no homework and about four tests throughout the semester,with extra credit quizes. You deffinatley need to study the SLO's and go to class and you should pass. She is a really good professor and her class is interesting.I recomend her highly!

She is so sweet and as long as your read what she says to read you'll be fine. She's very lenient when it comes to the writing assignments. Just try to put some effort in them. If your doing bad she'll tell you why and help you. However she doesn't sugar coat anything so if you want the truth don't get offended when you get it.

I notice thats it asks you your interest level prior to attending class when you go to rate your professor. How come if u were not interested in it before u attended it makes the rater interest lower?...because in that case psych was my world prior to attending because my rater interest in davi as a instuctor is high. :)

Professor Davi may appear uptight and high-strung at first, but if you stick with her she's actually realy nice.Her class is very straight forward, just make sure you read the book and study her SLO's.It's a guaranteed "F" if you don't study because her tests are tricky at times.

This professor is amazing. I am part of the DSPS program.. I have a few complications when i comes to my learning. Davi was able to have accommodation for my specific learning style. Though it can be a hard class.. This class is only hard if you make it hard. Go to class everyday and participate and you should get an easy A like i did.

I took this class as a summer class. It was great.she provides helpful study guides and gives extra credit for both the study guide questions and quizes.She makes you keep a score sheet and checks in on a regular basis to make sure we have the same score as she does. She is very helpful and will even come early to class if students need help.

Interesting course that left me hungry for more. I took this course in the summer so the speed definitely kept me on my toes. The lectures were filled with so much applicable information and there's a real passion behind her voice that made it stick. She cares about the subject and also about the success of her students. I had this teacher for psych 11 and I thought this class was great. The teacher is very helpful, and gives out alot of handouts that help you study for the test. You will pass all of the tests if you study the handouts, come to class, and read the chapters and know the vocab. She makes the class interesting.

This class was extremely easy. There is so much extra credit available that I needed less than 50% on the final to get an A. Lectures are very slow and boring. The last month and a half I never attended class unless it was a test day. Very easy A.

By far one of the greatest teachers I have ever had. She is very great at teaching and as long as you attend and take notes you should have no problems. You will pass the class if you study. She doesn't assign any homework to be collected and graded, however, it is in your best interest to read assigned chapters, answer SLO's in the packets she gives you, and take online practice tests. She lectures heavy and gives you a SLO guide that literally has all material you need for the exams. reading the chapters is a must but its actually a good read. I took this class online and there were quizzes every week, but it really helped me to stay on top of the reading. The extra credit offered is very simple and easy to do, so I definitely recommend doing it if you have the chance. Overall the class was easy to understand even though it is a lot of self responsibility on reading all material.

It is midterm week as I am writing this and so far we only have one test every Friday about the chapter. Not sure about the midterm, but this is a very good class for self paced students. Long as you make the due dates!

As long as you use the study guide and read the textbook as well as watch the videos, you will be fine. The amount of notes I would take would sometimes feel like a lot but once I got used to it the class was easy. The grade relies on how well you do on the quiz at every end of the week but she offers extra credit opportunities to help.

Professor Davi's PSYCH011 class is pretty self-paced. While lectures can be dry, the SLO guides and textbook readings are really helpful. unstuck AI was a game-changer for my exam prep - highly recommend using it alongside the class materials.

The class was easy took it over the summer. prof gave us chapter quizzes and exams. Everything was online. Not much homework. Definitely take it over the summer. It goes by quicker. Notes and reading are easy.

Professor Davi is very kind and caring, she always gave good feedback to all my assignments. While some may say she had a lot of resources and material, if you take this course online it's your choice to view it or not. As long as you use the powerpoints and do the study guides for the 1 quiz a week you'll pass. Her grading and syllabus are clear.

I took professor Davi for psychology 11 online back in Spring 2021. I enjoyed her class. She gave out weekly assignments. I enjoyed watching some of the TED talks and writing discussion boards about the TED talk videos. I was doing so well that she would not allow me to do extra credit. There was no extra credit assignments in her class anyway.

Professor Davi was good. We only met once a week and the rest of the course was online. We took a quiz every week so there isn't a final towards the end of the course. She does give extra credit which always helped boost my grade. It's a bit difficult since we were expected to read a whole chapter in a week
