Her lectures are very informative. I took her for all the pharmacy technician courses. You have to be present or you'll miss important info that can be on exams. She's fair on grading every assignment. She will tell you how things are in the real world for pharmacy techs. So far she's a good professor and I will recommend.

I took Dr. Lavy's class for about a year now and I would say it's quite an amazing journey. I learned a lot when it came to her lectures. Her feedback was good when she needed to push us harder for higher grades. One thing I found hard in this class was not being able to study the material for quizzes for sometime. We had limited time to study.

She is very strict with time she wants everything done on time. But she is very nice and understanding and wants the best for her students.

Professor Lavy is an excellent professor who truly cares about her students. I highly suggest to take her classes! I have taken a few courses with her for the Pharmacy Technician program and she has become one of my favorite professors. Dr. Lavy is an excellent teacher. I spent a year in her classroom for the Pharmacy Technician Certification (Basic) Attendance is mandatory. she cares for her students to pass the class to be prepared for the environment we are going to enter. she can be strict, but its worth it. she can be confusing when teaching math tho.

I personally enjoyed this class, she is very understanding and her way of teaching is reasonable. PowerPoints are great but you still have to read the textbook.

If you pay attention and follow the slides and textbook you should pass. Memorize top 200 drug list for sure!

Dr. Lavy is that professor is great, You will need to buy a textbook but every chapter will be read, and be prepared for chapter quizzes, quite easy IF you really did read those chapters. she's hilarious and incredibly intelligent, I never felt like she judged any of the questions I asked.I recommend taking her pharmacy course if you're interested!

I have absolutely no complaints, I took my entire pharmacy tech courses with her and she was really sweet and goes pretty easy on her grading and almost always provides study guides. not gonna lie the body systems classes are difficult, and so is the math portion but she will go over anything you have questions about. shes a little jokester and makes the classes as easy as possible. shes very understanding and very communicative. a really great teacher overall. would recommend her to anyone whos interested in pharmacy.
