Dr Stav is an awesome professor! He made it fun to go to class and to participate! Gives a great deal of bonus points for doing assignments early and also classroom participation. Gives great review before tests. Doesn't make you take notes. Learned a lot from him. One of the best teachers I ever had!

I had Dr. Stav at Howard Community College for three classes and he is the best. Come to class, participate, complete your assignments, and you will get an A. His tests are hard but he gives bonus points for them so make sure that you participate. If you do not get an A in his course it is your fault. Come back to Maryland Eli, we miss you.

I am taking Dr. Stav this semester for General Psychology and absolutely love him. The comments are right on. You need to get as much extra credit as you can and his tests will be easy. I cannot wait to take him for Human Development next term.

Honestly, no one should receive any grade lower than a B in Dr. Stav's class. His teaching methods and lectures are superb! He makes you want to major in psychology. He is never in a bad mood and gives extra credit points out like crazy! Chapter assignments are simple and there were only 3 exams. No midterm/ final if grade is A or B. Take him :DD

Professor Stav is awesome. He gives you bonus for everything you say relating to the discussed chapter. You cannot get less than a B in his class. He exempts you from a future assignment if you get the highest score on an exam. There are 3 major exams. He adds your bonus points to your exam grade. If you are a shy person, ya better learn to talk.

This is by far the greatest professor I have had so far. Clear in teaching, very friendly, knowledgeable and always open to help students. I highly recommend Dr. Stav for PSY2012. The approach that he has towards teaching the class is 100x better than any other class I have taken. I looked forward to each class as it was not some boring lecture session. Show up for class, take advantage of his point system and participate. In college there are two types of teachers: easy, but you don't learn, or very hard but you get something out of the class. Dr. Stav takes the best of both. Dr. Stav is an elite professor and by far the best at Broward College. It is not even close. I loved him when I was at BC and enjoyed his classes. Now that I've graduated and transferred to FSU I realize that in addition to having fun in his classes I learned so much which made everything so much easier. Thank you Dr. Stav. I miss you a lot.

I am taking Dr. Stav again this summer. I have had him for four other classes and absolutely love him. If you come to class, do you work, and participate there's no reason why you shouldn't get an A in his class. He loves students but hates lazy people. Don't be late, participate. and you will do great. You will have a lot of fun and learn a ton.

Dr. Stav is phenomenal. Even in an online class everything is crystal clear and organized. He is always there of his students and truly cares about their success. If you do your part you will have an instructor and mentor for life who will do anything for you. You ROCK Stav!!!!!

Not only is he a super easy A (you must show up to all his classes though) but he really cares about his students and makes learning so fun. Love this professor he is actually the reason I am majoring is psychology.

Dr. Stav is engaging, inspirational, & encouraging. He conducts every class conversationally. He has a passion for the subject. He is very respectful of his students' opinions & admonishes all to participate. The course was extremely manageable! He exempted good students from written essays & the final, and he gives tons of extra credit! Must take!

Professor Eli is amazing!!! I can't stress this enough I took his gen psych class and it only met up 5 times during the semester and the only only work you have to do is on Connect which can be kind of annoying but extremely easy. If you have the opportunity to take any type of class with him DO IT.

Dr. Stav was a really nice professor. He annotated every assignment and it's due date on the syllabus. I learned a lot from his lectures. He allowed us to talk and interact with the lessons. i finished the online homework while i had the free 14 day trial so i didnt have to buy the book, which is possible. Not only did i get extra credit for tuning in the work early but i got out of quizes, papers, and tests. He is so caring for all his students; he actually will try to know everyone's name by the end of the semester, which is cool.

This professor uses the connect codes included in the textbook to the fullest extent and the tests were manageable if you completed the weekly homework assignments and read the material. I recommend taking this course if you want a thorough understanding of the subject and the professor is happy to help explain anything you don't understand.
