Dr. Keane was very knowledgeable in the subject matter and always asked if we had any questions. If so, she would go over what we said we had a problem with. All you have to do is just do your homework assignments and you'll pass. I hate Algebra but I earned a "B" in her class.

Honestly, this isn't the most fun class in the world, but she makes it a lot better. She is very strict, and understanding. As long as you have a pulse and show up to class, she will work with you. I would recommend her.

Virtual-blend class, 6 quizzes and 6 reviews add up to 40% of the grade. Gives extra credit. Midterm and final are 30% of grade, attendance is 10% , mymathlab homework is 10%, an essay is 10%. You learn on your own, no textbook needed. This math is pretty easy and practical. Got a 95%, she seems strict at first but warms up as the classes pass.

I am terrible at Math and still earned an A+. No one has an excuse to not pass this class. Do your work. Go to tutoring labs if needed. She's straight to the point. What's on the Syllabus is what's going to happen. Gives extra credit. If you get confused just ask her she'll explain but don't ask her if it clearly already answered on the syllabus.

This was by far the easiest math course I have ever taken. I took the course online and with the help of the online textbook and instructional videos that go with every chapter, it was extremely easy! I did not feel I needed the instructor much though... MGF1106 online course. Clear syllabus where you do homework (Easy A) and take quizzes after homework is due. Midterm and final (Also easy if you study) and you can practice before hand so you know exactly whats on there. This professor does not teach at all, its a learn yourself type of math class but its not hard if you take notes on the powerpoints on mymathlab. Took this professor last semester when the school changed to online bec of virus. Professor Keane is soooooooo dedicated. She reaches out more than any prof I had in the past. And this is Math. I am not any good in Math but I did super well here because of and thanks to prof Keane. The course was soooo fast but the assignments made the quizzes easy. Many trials for each quiz. Ms Keane was available to tutor outside the class. And this was a virtual class at MDC when this never happened. I took MAT 1033 before and the professor not even answer emails fast. Ms Keane was very caring. Responds to emails fast and gives feedback to quizzes and you can take them again. Final was not hard because similar to Review. Love course!

I just graduated and this math class was my last. I was happy to take the class with this Professor. I had read the great reviews and the not so great. I think the students who grade her bad are bc they are not passing. Her style is different but course is very well organized. She is on top of all. She also is available to help using virtual room.

Her online class is organized and clear. The modules after module 1 after time consuming and the homework assignments were time consuming as well, but the quizzes were identical to the quiz reviews and overall pretty doable. The final was also exactly like the final review so it wasn't as difficult as we thought it would've been.

Some of these reviews mention how hard she is or how much work she puts its math! Might be hard for other and easy for some. Try your best and get everything done before its due. 5 discussion questions, 6 quizes and 1 final thats proctored ;) also Hw is alot of question but you can get it done fairly quickly. I took her class in the Summer, it was real easy because prof Keane made it easy. Always available to offer help in virtual room. Reviews very helpful. lots of homework but can be done. I took the course in 6 week-fast but she makes you keep track. Hard to fall behind. She wont let you. I do not know how people can review her negatively. Impssible

This class is very easy and Ms Keane makes it this way. There are reviews for every quiz and also the major Midterm and Final. These reviews help. There are some strict rules about the Final Exam - stated in syllabus. Read them beforehand. You really learn because she puts lots of homework too. Love the course.

Absolutely amazing. Never had a professor who cared as much. The class is MDC online, which means you must attend through blackboard ultra. But the material is very easy and Ms, Keane explains the steps. Lots of homework but easy. There are reviews and they helpful. Prof responds to email right away and offers help. Take her.

I just took this professor in an 8 week class. The course is very easy with all the reviews that she places in course. The professor is very attentive and is always available to teach and explain over and over. The syllabus is clear and the rules there are followed. I want to take her again for the next course. One of the best courses I took at Miami College. The best in mathematics. This course is lay out simply. Rules are clear and she follows then. Extra credit. There are opportunities to take reviews before every quiz or test. Really easy to score high in the course. Just log in the MDC live, learn from the live lectures. Worth it. Will take her again

I just took a final exam and passed. You must score at least a D in the final or you wont pass but this is easy because she puts a review almost the same as the final so if you take the review a couple of times you get a high grade in final. The rest is standard, she requires attendance in the mdc live. Give homework but reasonable.

The class I just took was an MGF 1106 online class. The course has all the contents very well set and organized. It has modules and after each, there is a quiz. Very easy as prof Keane puts reviews that helps with these. Final and Midterm is proctored by Proctor U. Easy course. Good Professor. Available all the time.

I am in her class now and I find this course a breeze. She uses powerpoints in class and teaches each example. We see her through MDC live. Through zoom. The material is hard sometimes for me who is not good in math but I do all the homework, the reviews and ask her questions. Very good course.

Math has been a subject to avoid for most people me included, after taking professor Keana's class. She makes you realize that math is not that difficult. If you do the time and effort to do the work it will pay off. She works a lot with power points which are always available for your review and she will help you during class.

Professor Keane is very flexible. If you ask me Professor Keane goes the extra mile just to make sure you get your work done. If you don't understand something and you need help, she's willing to help you, either before or after class. When it comes to homework there is a lot of homework, but she also gives you MORE THAN ENOUGH time to get it done.

This professor is very caring. Spends a lot of time with students and teaches over and over till you get it. I do not know why some of the reviews say she is not flexible because she is. Very. She is very fair too. She is honest and blunt which may confuse some with saying that she is brut. Not true at all. In my class we all love her.

Professor Keane is the only professor in my history at MDC who showed she cared lots. She"s very meticulous. Pay attention to syllabus. Having said this, her classes r a lot of fun. Powerpoints are very clear. Reviews almost a xerox of what's in tests. For someone like me who always failed math, this was important. My first A in math in my life!

I took both MGF 1106 and 1107 with Dr. Keane. 8 weeks each. Dr. Keane challenged us, she made us laugh, and she made us think. These were my last two courses before graduation and Dr. Keane made them enjoyable and memorable.

Amazing professor. Made MAC 1105 doable. I had already taken it 2 times before. Almost gave up. And then this Angle appeared. The course is very well structured. Professor teaches very fast but takes the time to explain is offers reviews in class and practices on top of graded homework. This all helped motivate me, I finally passed.

I took the 6-week course, grade is reliant on 4 quizzes and an optional final exam if you want to replace one quiz grade. The reviews she posts are almost exactly like her quizzes, so make sure to review them to pass the class. Homework is optional. She's a little fast when teaching but will take the time to further explain if asked. Easy class.

Having Professor Keane was amazing. I personally have struggled with math in the past but her course really showed me that applying myself and putting in the work can lead to success. It was a pleasure to learn from her. She was very thorough and provided a generous amount of help to be successful.

This class is easy if you put in a little bit of effort. All quizzes are open notes, so all you need to do is write down the equation and important information that you would use in the quiz itself. You would get this information from the homework or the review quiz (both online), so you don't really need to be present but It can help. Good luck!

The material is easy to understand if you watch the videos. Dr. Keane will be on top of you to finish your work if you don't start early, but you have 2 weeks to a month to complete the assignments. There is some attitude in her messages, but she just doesn't want her students to fall behind. She is a caring professor with a hard way of showing it.

I took this MDC live modality and before I started I was afraid. Once the course begun I knew I had nothing to worry. The lessons are very clear and structured. Respectable Professor who is very clear when teaching. Grades you on quizzes, but you can earn extra credit with the homework, and she lets you use notes in the quizzes which helps a lot! Can be stern as she just wants you to succeed in her class.
