i can honestly say that mr. dominguez is a very fun teacher. Especially puente; i think you can meet great people; and if your in his puente class you'll have mentors and you'll have field trips. Stop hating on him; he's a counsler and is suppose to help us succeed.

everyone Elias is a great teacher. one of the best you will ever have. He's not that difficult, i mean if you study at least an hour you'll pass his test. he's very helpfull. He makes the course worth taking by interacting with the students. he's not a teacher you wanna BS, take him and just participate and listen

Elias, is the Best teacher and Counselor. We go over powerpoints about the chapters. And he enjoys having us share personal experiences with the class. I recommend taking one of his classes. This Coun 101 was very helpful. You should take this class in the beginning of college but its never to late to take it. It's really easy if you read the book.

Topics discussed in class r entertaining. He uses the book 4 quick writes. He uses powerpoints, has class discussions, and tests are easy if you study the powerpoints & maybe read the book. I made flash cards 2 every bulletin point & was fine. He is a counselor, who will love to help. If you're absent email him & hopefully u can work something out

Mr. D is a GREATTT teacher! He cares for his students and takes the time out of his day to help set up a day where he can help you with classes and talk about college and even is there for you when you gve personal problems. He is easy to talk to and does not judge anyone but instead helps you and gives great advice!

This class will change your life. He really cares about everyone and gears the class towards a "group therapy" type setting. All tests and journal assignments pretty straight forward. This class by him should be mandatory. I cannot recommend this highly enough. TAKE IT!

Great teacher!

The class if very interesting. He is always very helpful and really wants his students to succeed. He does expect you to do the assigned reading but that's not asking too much. He is maybe a little too liberal on late assignments. The class is all about participation but he does understand if you are too shy to get in on the discussion.

Prof. gives information-packed lectures with PWP. He will randomly tell you answers to the upcoming test. I really liked the group work. This class gives you knowledge you can use for the rest of your life.

Enjoyed this class so much, I'm sad to be going on to other classes that I know may not inspire me as much as this class, the lectures make you think and persuade you to look within yourself for answers in all areas of your life. Assignments where easy as long as you take the time to go within and really embrace what's being taught.

Mr. D's class was awesome! It forced me to think about several life topics that I hadn't really clarified yet. Not that this class clarified them for me, it just made me think about them more. Mr. D's teaching style is casual. He doesn't really teach; he just talks about things, and he wants others to do the same. Participation is NOT mandatory!

Elias's counseling class was a great class to have taken, we learned about a lot of beneficial life topics that can make us really see where we stand in life and how we can relate to the topics discussed in class. This was a really interesting and fun class to be in. I would definitely recommend someone to take this course. Professor Domiguez is a perfect example of what a college counselor and professor should do, i took his Counseling 100 and Counseling 163 which i loved and taught me things that no other professor has. The grading criteria is SIMPLE. There are no in-class assignments. Itll all be hw: a journal and one chapter from the book each week (rent it!). Easy PowerPoints which he connects to real life situations for better understanding. He reviews test questions and answers prior to exams. Easy! People who complain on here lacked effort. I recommend him!

This class teaches how to handle inevitable situations in everyone's life-family, friends, death, love, career, trauma, etc. Not many people know how to cope with life in a healthy way, but I think everyone should be required to take this class. The topics in this class are deep, but theyre interesting and make you reflect. No one is forced to participate, but participating makes the class a lot more interesting.

This was an online class due to covid, but I still felt there were enough group activities to feel like you were still in a class. The homework and quizzes are based on reading. Then we discuss what we feel about each subject in class. I feel that you can take more from the class if you participate.

Although this class was online, Professor Dominguez made it feel like we were still a class. Group conversations in breakout rooms and even all together on zoom were really impactful. Quizzes are based on the book and are not made to be difficult so just read! Showing up for class is important to connect with the professor and better understand.

Professor Dominguez is a fantastic professor. I truly enjoyed this course and although it was online, Professor Dominguez reached out to me to follow up my course load, and overall a very very caring professor. His assignments may seemed like a lot but I usually just bust it out on a Sunday. It does take a few hours but its manageable.

Professor Dominguez's class was one of the best ones I took at Fullerton, I thought he did a great job with grading, so I always knew where I stood grade wise in the class. The material was fun to learn about also!
