I wasnt expected a ESL teacher can be this charming and her sense of humor always drived me laugh liked nuts. She taught very well, it's hard, but I liked that :)

I agree with below comment. If you don't want to pass esl class, i recommend you take this class. she is disgusting teacher i've never seen before. she thinks she is the best in the world, but it's misunderstanding. personality, and teaching style.. everything sucks.

She is one of the best teachers in GCC . I passed her class with "C" but I learned more than an "A" student in some other teachers class.

yes she is helpful to some part of your english. but, she is really freaking picky to give score to u. almost u guys will usually get D (sometimes C or F even though u wrote whole~~ essay) It's up to your choice. If u want to learn more, but decrease your GPA, just take her class. Be careful.remember u r possible to fail with D or F

This teacher is one of the worst teachers that I ever had. Dont take this class if you want an A or B but go ahead and take it if you are looking for C- or less. No EXTRA CREDIT or any other helping point. You have to go to the LAB until the LAST WEEK and if you don't see you next semester.

Usually people talk nonsense about her,don't even pay attention to them.Her class is not hard at all.She explains everything sooo clearly that it forever stays in your head. I have read almost all ratings, and I'm not surprised. Everytime I see the blue or green faces I know they are written by the students who havn't passed her classs.If you want to study english,I will strongly recommend you to take her class. If you are attending college just for fun, and you are not smart enough,take an easy teacher.I got an "A".

Ms. Lee is by far one of the most dedicated and knowledgeble teachers I have had the pleasure of having. She is very thorough and organized in the way she knows how to make you work hard in order to benefit the most from the class.

If you want to work and study, never take her class. It's full of stress. Her method of teaching is complicated and she is grading unfairly. By the way, I am not one of the students who did not pass her class. But it will be a great mistake to take her class again.
Never take her grammar classes! She has her own way of teaching and she does not want to understand that it is not helpful for most of the students. In my class 95% of students was disappointed.

The greatest teacher and person I have ever met. Guys, if you are good in English and you wanna study, take her cass. You won't regret later, and when you go to level 4 or 5, you will be so grateful to Ms. Lee because higher levels will be a piece of cake for you. I love her, wish she thaught all levels.
I took her ESL 131 class way back in Fall 1998 when I just arrived in the USA for college. 12 years later, I graduated with BS, earned Ph.D. in science from a top 20 institution in the country, and now postdoc-ing in an Ivy League school all because Mrs. Elis Lee taught me how to write and speak English! She's one of the best teachers I ever had.

I took her class last semester. She was very proffesional even though she got her legs problem. It was really hard to pass but it is worth. HOWEVER, Don't Take INTENSIVE COURSE which is 8 week courses if you are not ready.

I was taking ESL133 in this 2019 fall semester, her way of rating is suck. She made us a loooooot of homework, it takes around at least 2 hours. However she rate those homework just 5% of all of the grade. She changes the grade just their personality.

Avoid taking this class if possible. The professor is highly unhelpful and unreasonable, with a strict attendance policy and heavy workload. However, using tools like Unstuck ai can help manage the difficulty.
Dr. Lee is a VERY GOOD TEACHER. Not an instructor who gives just recommendations, but a GOOD TEACHER who teaches patiently. She logs into ZOOM every morning and is ready to explain and teach, teach and explain again. She carries about her students. She is demanding and very friendly. All my grades are "A". She gave me a "B", I know it is fair.
I an grateful to Dr. Lee for all. A lot of homework, is OK because we do not have English environment, and we can't learn English without more practice. Also, it is a college. Not a school. She carries about students and constantly helps them. She is friendly. She is a teacher for those who want learn. I hope to learn from her again in the future.
