Calc is not easy!She understands that,she gives 1million examples of each type of problem.She is possibly the most helpful prof I have ever had. The only bad thing about her is she does teach kind of fast, but she is just really enthusiastic about calc.She also forgets that we are not math majors!

Great teacher to take Calc with if you are not too good in math. She explains everything over and over till you get it. It's not an easy A but if you go to her for help when you need it, u'll be fine. small quizzes almost every week..if you have to take calc, take it with her.

She's really helpful and friendly, even at 8:15 at night! I am amazed at her enthusiasm for the class. The subject material is still a bit difficult at times, but ask for help if u need it.

Excellent teacher, one of the best if not THE best teacher for Calculus at MSU, and I've had many. She makes everything simple, and gives you plenty of chances to make up things you may do bad on. Also, very easy on the eyes =). Highly recommended.

Wow, what a great teacher. I had previously attempted to take math114 with another teacher but immediately dropped it. Eliza made me understand calc and do very well in it. I am sooo glad I got to experience her as a teacher.

I thought this would be a dreaful class, but even though it was tough professr lesczynski made it seem easy and you looked forward to doing it because she made it very clear. shes teaches very very well and is one of the most helpful professors i have ever had. Eliza is the greatest professor I had. She is extremely helpful and will go over a problem 10 times if the class does not understand. I dreaded taking math on a Mon. at 8 - 10:30 at night but she def was worth it!!! I definitely recommend her!!! :))

Fun course, though should be waiveable for math majors from other schools; regretably, MSU makes all their Math ed students take it. Still, Eliza makes it fun, and introduces some concepts not found in high school geometry (circle inversion, fractals, non-Euclidean Geometry). The book is clear. It's best feature are the investigations.

DO NOT Take any other class if its not Eliza. When looking for Math courses, and Eliza teaches one of them, please drop any other class and take hers. I am doing my MBA now, but its hard to forget brilliant professors. Best Math Class Ever, Best Teacher Ever. Period.

Best math professor ever...she cares so much for her students, and she's always willing to help. Gives a lot of extra credit, and tests are not hard, it's exactly what she teaches in class. Don't really need to even do HW, she's so good at explaining, but it helps and makes her happy to see you're doing it. She makes math easier.

Eliza is SUCH a sweetheart. she truly cares about each and every one of her students. she goes above and beyond for you to get the best grade possible. her tests are not hard. hw isn't even mandatory. but it makes her happy if you do it. i strongly suggest taking her for math if you hate the subject or aren't good at it.

Professor Leszczynski is the sweetest. She genuinely wants you to do well and is clear about her expectations. The content can get difficult but she's more about students applying what they learn rather than memorizing formulas. Office hours are super helpful. There are two tests and a cumulative final.
