Awesome teacher! One of the best teachers I've ever had. I had her over the summer, she's super nice and really exciting. She keeps people awake and motivated to keep trying. A+!

If you've never taken her class and you're an independent learner than you may need to adjust to her style of teaching. There's a lot of group work involved, so sit with a good table. Her classes go by fast because she is so spunky. I enjoyed the class even though I despise math. Took College Algebra with her also, much harder than 0303. Light grad

I highly recommend taking this teacher, she is always willing to help and she makes sure you understand what your doing, has a different style of teaching and it makes you understand, i used to hate math but she makes it easy for anybody, she also passes out candy all the time...

Amazing teacher! Keeps the class motivated. If you fail her class, then there is something seriously wrong with you! T One of the best teachers I've ever had. You won't be disappointed!

Ms.Harwin is the best! she is VERY helpful and spontaneous. Her teaching methods are very easy to understand. In her class we do plenty of group work.Before a test, as a class we work on a study guide packet with all the correct answers, which helps out a lot for the test. PLUS she always brings CANDY!

Ms. Harwin is by far one of the BEST teachers I've ever had. She is extremely helpful and friendly. Never a dull moment in her class! She is a great teacher and I would take any class with her if I had the chance, I would recommend her to anyone!

She takes a boring, hard class and tries to make it fun and easy. She's very helpful and one of the best math teachers I've had.

I took College Algebra for maymester with Mrs. Harwin and shes a great professor, shes very clear and makes it easy to learn. She goes out of her way to help, homework grades are usually graded by completion, gives reviews before test and the test is over the same material so no surprises, overall i think shes a great professor.

Anna is a great teacher who is truely dedicated to helping her students, shes smart, very funny, very helpful, crystal clear, she gives you candy, and for her age, SHES HOTT! You'll <3 her, garunteed!

Amazing professor her world seems to be teaching, wants all her students to pass and understand math. She constantly bribes you with candy, she is so much fun. Really makes going to class worthwhile.

Mrs. Harwin is a fun teacher! She likes bribing students with candy and pizza. She is concise, and to the point. I took statistics with her, and she made it easy to understand. Definite A+ for her.

Awesome teacher who kept the class interested and laughing. A great combination for an otherwise dry subject. I did better than expected and owe it all to the consideration of this great STATS professor. You will be glad you were in her class.

Tests are extremely similar to study guides, DO THEM! She will only teach you what you need to know to past the test nothing else, unless you ask her. Overall incredibly helpful and an amazing professor! TAKE HER!

Professor Harwin Is the MATH teacher ever!!! She is so amazing, if you ever struggled in Math you need to take her!!! Oh and one of the most important things you will ever have to remember in her class is "LN that Thang!" you will know what I'm talking about when you take her. She's awsome the best math teacher I ever had.

Harwin was an excellent professor. She has to beat a dead horse sometimes for some of the struggling students but she will always give you a challenge if you are looking for one. She also will key your car if you fail her class. Expect Math to be fun with her.

I'm always looking forward to her class. She explains everything and is always ready to help you when you need it. She genuinly cares about her students and has a passion for teaching. I don't only see her as a teacher, but as a friend. This is one of the best teachers at Vista. Take one of her classes if you can. You will not regret it.

This is honestly my favorite teacher at Vista! She makes the class so easy to understand and she's just sooooo nice. If you can take her class do it because she's awesome!! Gives out pizza and candy also...love her!

She is very nice, extremely helpful, NO HOMEWORK AT ALL, 3-4 TESTS in total, STATS is hard but if u ask her to help u she will explain. bought us pizza at the end of the semester YAY, Awesome teacher! and shes very Funny.! Did not USE THE BOOK, &if we did i would take pics of it w/my cell, haha

I am and never was good at Math. This might be the most spectacular woman I have ever met!! I honestly have alot of love for her. She makes things very clear and takes all of her time to help you even if she has things to take care of she will help you first! Try statistics if you are not good in math. She lets you use note cards on. God bless Her!

She was a good teacher, she tries anything to get you to understand what she's trying to teach. She is also always available for help if you need her, she does assign homework but it's helpful to understand material. I took her stats class in the summer and it was the best thing I could've done with my summer. She also had pizza for us @ the end.

I had to drop the class a couple weeks in due to medical reasons, but she was a great instructor while I had her. Very willing to help and completely understood when I had to drop. I would take her again to finish the class.

Ms Harwin is the best math instuctor NWV has. I took her for Stats and College Alg. Passed both with an "A" Ms Harwin goes out of her way to help the students pass. I had no previous math courses. Take college alg in the summer. I did and it went great. Thank you Ms Harwin.

I hate algebra, Mrs. Harwin is a fantastic teacher. I got an A in the class. She gives out candy for answering questions, and pizza parties if everyone passes her tests. I would say if you hate algebra take this class! Mrs. Harwin doesn't want to see anyone fail. You're guaranteed to pass if you try.

She is a great professor! Statistics is a hard class but she makes it interesting. I would definitely recommend her!

She is seriously the best professor that you could ask for. She's extremely helpful and always asks if anyone is having problems with the work. Sweetest lady every and extremely patient, she teaches many different math courses. I would LOVE to take her again, she is the best and loves to make jokes with her students!

Professor Harwin was very cool and helpful. We got our work done, but at times she would tell jokes that would help class time go by fast. She's over all very caring and always willing to help. I'm not sure how it is during fall and spring semesters, but for summer session, we didn't need to buy the textbook.

She was a good teacher. I took this class over the summer, and she made the time go by faster by telling jokes. She gives great examples during the lecture and will readily help you. We didn't even have to use the textbook :) Her tests are similar to the reviews you get. Take her!

Amazing instructor, incredibly intelligent and helpful. More interested in helping student achieve their graduation goals than getting them stuck on math credits forever. Such a kind and wonderful person, if you hate math please take her because she wants you to succeed!

Professor Harwin was one of the best Math professors I've had so far. She breaks it down so that it's easy for you to understand. She has you work the last 15 minutes of class on the HW and is there for you if you have any questions. She kept the class entertaining and made you want to learn. Take her!!! I want to take her for Stats as well!

I really enjoyed taking the class, the teacher always make sure if you're on the same page as the teacher and she will spend the time to explain throughout the detail if you do not understand. She also gives out treats if anybody answers her question correctly. I would recommend anyone to take her class! I grew to love math even more cause of her.

She makes math nonetheless interesting. She is all over the place, but she is good about helping you understand If anything if I still wasn't understanding, I went to the math lab Just show up, do your homework and you will do just fine

She is a great teacher overall, she answers all your questions and goes over the homework problems most of the time just in case you don't understand something. Gives extra credit and quizzes.

Loved taking her class awesome professor. Very funny, her most used quotes were "If your not bored then I'm not doing my job" & "let me bore you first then it will all be clear". She's a sweet professor & I would definitely take her again. I've only taken 3 test not including semester exam, has quizzes but she warns you and every test has a review

She is such a sweet lady and very understanding if you deserve. She is always willing to work with you and encourages you to try to work problems. If you skip class or don't do the homework she assigns then you will not be expected to pass. Overall the reviews are similar to the tests (13-18 problems for tests) but just different problems.

Awesome teacher/person !! She is willing to help you with anything even if it's out of class she will do anything to make sure you understand. Super funny and makes class entertaining sometimes even gives out candy for participatin in class discussion. TAKE HER CLASS

I absolutely LOVED her class. She is a wonderful teacher, is super sweet, and if you participare she gives you treats like candy or chips. Take her class if you get the chance! Her lectures are very thourough, however she moves at a pretty fastpace. Textbook is only for HW so id wait before spending the $. You can take pics of hers when there is HW

Anna is truly great! The last review is almost a year old I thought I could help by giving a recent one. She is odd, her teaching is based on her knowledge and sort of rolls from there. Reviews are exact as test!! STUDY THOSE! She explains individually if needed. Still gives ton of candy. Take her and pay attention! It is math after all.

I don't understand why people dislike her, I absolutely loved her class! She is lovely. I'm horrible at math and she made it so much more easier for me to understand. The tests are exactly like the reviews and when she grades your work she doesn't grade if you got the answer right, just as long as you know how to do the problem. Don't miss class!!

Teaching style is very linear and clear. You HAVE to show up to class, and if you need clarification ask right away. If she gets to the end of a segment and THEN you have questions, you aren't going to get the help you need. Every test has a great review. Work with your classmates, do your homework, and speak up when you're stuck. She's also funny!

All of these people leaving negative reviews need to get a life. Ms. Harwin is one of the most caring and patient professors you'll ever meet. She encourages everyone to stop by her office to ask questions if you're still unsure about any of the material. Study guides almost exactly what the tests look like. A's are possible in her class!!

Harwin wanted the best for everyone. The material is difficult (statistics duh) but very doable. Expects other students to help. Reviews are very similar to the tests. If you practice, show her you really want it, and study well, you should pass the class. Treats the class to Candy & Pizza if they do well in class participation and tests! Good!

She is really brilliant about math. I dreaded having to take math for my degree but she made it understandable. You have to pay attention in class and ask questions when you don't understand, but she will help you. If I had to take another math class, I would be sure to have her.

Was dreading a two hour math class but Professor Harwin was super nice and really cared. Will work individually with you if you need help and lets you use notes on tests and the reviews are very similar. Miss a day of class though, you may be lost the next time you go into class.

I have struggled in math my whole life but somehow Anna made it super easy. The whole first month of the semester i was out because of a surgery I had so before class she would meet with me in the lab 1 on 1 and go over everything and got me caught up. Reviews are exactly like test.. Use them!

The BEST math professor! Adds her own personality into teaching the material but it helps you remember key aspects. Will teach then gives work and will go around the room to make sure you are getting it and if not she will sit with you to TEACH you. I want to take her for all my math class so I know I will succeed with her teaching style.

Probably the most understanding professor I've had. If you need help she'll always find a way to help you understand the topic.

*Pre COVID* Anna Harwin is such a sweet and caring professor. Ive always struggled in math, but her teaching style helped me get an A! She goes over the material, then lets us work on it on our own while she walks around the room to help anybody who may need it. Really, shell sit down and work with you until you get it. Shes also very funny!

Professor Harwin was an amazing teacher. she allowed us to help each other if anyone needed help. The class was fun and if you needed help she was almost always available to help. She has became my favorite math teacher, I have always had a difficult time understanding what my teachers are teaching and i would have to learn everything myself.

I struggle with math but professor Harwin does everything in her power to make sure you understand what is going on. She is super sweet and caring and understanding to any situation. Just ask questions! I definitely would take her again

Ms. Anna is really good professor, very understanding and flexible. Her way of teaching is too clear and interesting. If you put efforts with full concentration in attending her class and taking notes then you will definitely get decent grade.

She is always asking to sit by someone and help them. there is almost never homework. there are few test but gives out study guides before hand. She gives out candy sometimes as a reward. Since my whole class passed one of our test she bought us all pizza

She is very helpful and makes sure everyone understands the coursework. The class doesn't use any computers at all it's all on paper math but it was much better to understand this way. I really recommend her if you are a visual learner. She was also always available to help outside the class.

By far the best professor I have had at NVC. You can tell she truly cares about her students and the subject. Tests are easy if you pay attention in class and do the study guide. Highly recommend.

One of the most caring professors, she will sit down and guide you step by step even if you may be far behind she will find a way to help you grasp the course. This was her last semester teaching and she will be retiring so i do wish her well

I took her in spring 2022 she was amazing and kind always made jokes and she was a great teacher. Statistics requires you to study and pay attention from what I remembered she allow 1 cheat sheet for exams!
