Shes a great prof. never used the book, she uses ecampus, she has your test posted the same day and puts all the notes on there as well. take this class.

Mrs.B was so awesome! we always had a 10 question homework on ECampus, and always wanted everyone to make an A in her class so she worked with you! it is impossible to fail this class! if you need to raise your GPA TAKE THIS CLASS! and i thought her accent was hilarious!

Prof. Bergin made it clear she wants to help her students pass her class. If you watch certain movies and relate them to economics, she'll count it as extra credit for points towards your final grade. Didn't use the textbook at all...used program called "Aplia" which cost a little over $100. Included an online textbook if one wanted to use it.

Very helpful prof, although class can be very boring. She makes it very easy, with only aplia homework and 4 tests including final. As long as you look over online test review before test, there should be no problem. She is also practically deaf, as you will notice. But still you should take this class.

Mrs. Bergin was AWESOME! I made a high A easily. Never used the book. Never really even listened. All I did was look over her Test review the morning of and made an A on everything. She loves what she teaches and wants everyone to PASS. GPA booster. Sweet lady. Highly recomend and would definitely take again:) loved her

Again, sweet lady. Very classy. Took her for International Business. Everything about it is excellent, from her lectures to group project assignments. Tests and quizzes are electronically given. I am taking her again for Principles of Macroeconomics this coming semester (Fall 2013).

She is a great professor who is always willing to help. If for some reason you make a bad grade on one of her assignments she'll reopen it for you. She is awesome and I would recommend that you take her...

Easy, Easy!!! She posts chapter notes on ecampus, bring those to class and just follow along. The Aplia HW is easy! just use the notes. She posts a review for the exams. Study the review an handouts! I didn't use the book at ALL because she practically gives you everything you need for the Aplia and the exams. Its an easy A!!!!

Mrs. Bergin is awesome! she posts all powerpoints online and gives reviews for all tests. if you do poorly on an aplia HW, she will open it up and let you retake it. EASY A

best teacher ever!

Easiest class I had all semester. She does keep track of attendance so make sure to not miss more than 5 class periods. Weekly online homework's are a joke. She lectures off of powerpoints, material is easy, I didn't pay attention at all in class (which she doesn't mind at all) and still made an A on all of the tests. Need an Econ class? Take her.

Do Aplia and Study the Test Review the night before the test and you'll make an A. Chill as it gets.

She is awesome, there is no reason that you shouldn't get an A in her class. She has 3 test, and the reviews she gives you are exactly whats on the test. Theres aplia homework, which most give you 3 tries, and if she thinks the aplia is hard she will give you the answers. Her power points have test questions on them, where she bolds and highlights.

I took economics in high school and everything she lectured on was just review for me. Make sure to sit up front or ask questions so she knows who you are. Very nice lady that is willing to help you with Aplia and gives a lot of help for the tests. Final has a lot of familiar questions that were on previous tests. I wish she could be my micro prof.

Loved this class. I never really paid much attention, but she loves the subject and teaches it well and with enthusiasm. She puts all the notes and even reviews for tests on ecampus and do practice worksheets in class that arent for grades. She gives lots of extra credit as well. Take her if you want an A.

She is the BEST teacher out there. Her lectures aren't super long, usually get out early. She puts all of the notes, worksheets, and reviews on ecampus. As long as you know the review, you will get an A on the test. She loves what she does and is hilarious. Definitely would take her again!!!

Professor Bergin is great. The material isn't difficult and she truly is there to help you. She also has the tendency to be inadvertently funny which is cool.

Professor Bergin is the bomb!! Just took her macro summer 2 class and it was a breeze. The reviews for each test are basically the tests and there's no need to buy a text book. She's very willing to work with any conflicts and this class was an easy A. She's a great professor!!

Professor Bergin is awesome. One of my favorite profs. Super easy class, just study her notes and her test reviews and you'll get an A. She's really funny, loves teaching, and is a big Rangers fan. There's online homework but it's easy. She ends class early a lot, whenever she's done lecturing. I'd for sure take her class again.

Miss Bergin is a super sweet old lady. She moves fairly quickly and gives weekly quizzes and online homework but it is all extremely easy. I went to class and took notes every time because she counts attendance but could have easily made an A by only studying the test reviews she puts online. They are exactly like the tests. EASY A!!!

I took professor Bergin in a Summer session and she was AMAZING. She knows all her stuff and is very helpful with any problems you may have. Her notes and lectures go hand and hand as long as you take notes you should come out with an A. She is also easy and quick at getting back to your when you may need help overall one of the best professors.

Attendance: If you miss a lecture or 2, you won't die. Exams: She gives a CLEAR review with answers that's posted online. Homework: You need to purchase the Aplia access code, but no textbook I LOVE professor Bergin. I took Hudson before Bergin and I failed his class, but thanks to prof. Bergin, I'll make an A+. TAKE HER. You won't regret it!

Please take her. She's so easy. Just study the quizzes for the test and you'll do fine. I show up and I'm usually one my phone or computer not paying attention the whole time and just studied the reviews and quizzes the day before the test and still got a good grade in the class. I don't recommend procrastinating that much but still. take her.

Professor Bergin is definitely one of my all-time favorite professors. She is caring and wants you to do well. She keeps you up to date on everything and gives clear indications about what will be on the exam. I like going to her lectures because she always has one funny thing to say. It's just something you wouldn't expect her to say haha

Wow, what a great prof. She clearly states all the requirements of the class and tells you exactly what's on the test down to the question. Studying for this class only takes about 20-30 minutes, if you pay attention in class. Plus, she writes out notes for you so you can focus on the material rather than the writing aspect. She's also very sweet!

You will get the grade you want. Do the Aplia homework, show up everyday, pay attention during lecture, and move on. sweet lady, there's no valid reason why you can't get an A. she bends over backwards to help you if you need it.

Such a sweet and easy prof. She uses powerpoints- words in black text you do not need to know. Words in blue text will 100% be on the next exam. Words in green text are on the final. She goes over reviews right before the quizzes, which are the exact same or slightly different than that quiz so pay attention to the answers. Easy A!

She really enjoys economics!! This was the best prof for this class. She gives 'worksheets' you do at the end of some lectures (never graded), and exact questions from these are on the test. She gave a review for 3/4 of our tests and I got an A on every one. If you do your work (online homework and 5 in class quizzes) you will get an A! Take her!

Great professor. If you miss the lectures you won't do well, but pay attention in class and you will make a good grade. The tests are exactly like the quizzes done in class. There is minimal homework and just a quiz every other week or so. Definitely would take again.

There's an online course that costs roughly 100 dollars but Bergin let's you complete the homework during the free 2 week trial Quizzes are exactly like the test, they are graded in class amongst your peers (correct your grade as you go) Tests are easy, the final is cumulative, actually study the final guide she gives you.

Super laid back and funny. Course material is boring but she makes it tolerable and is interactive. Aced all exams, guy next to me got all 100s, just study the worksheets and the review because questions are the same. The online HW can all be done within a couple hours on the free trial. Good professor! Material is pretty boring but she makes it tolerable. Study the worksheets she gives out because a lot of the questions on them will most likely show up on the tests and quizzes. She opens all assignments at the beginning of the semester so you can do them using the free trial, so not having to purchase a book/code was def a plus

Econ is not a walk in the park by any means, but this prof. teaches the material very well and makes sure you have a complete understanding of it. She does worksheets daily which end up being quiz and test questions. She also gives you the outlines to go with each lecture. Highly recommend Elizabeth Bergin for Econ!

This is my second time taking Mrs. Bergin. She is by far one of my favorite profs at Blinn. She really cares about her students and wants to know them and wants everyone to pass. If you study the worksheets you will be fine. Test and Quizzes are easy. I would highly recommend anyone needing an Econ credit to take her.

She has reviews for the tests that she makes and fills out. If you study the review you will make a 100 for sure. Super nice and an overall good professor. I wish she taught microeconomics.

Professor Bergin was by far my favorite professor I have ever had. She is very clear on what you need to study and literally gives you the questions to look over. Good professor, the class was really easy. Study her notes she provides. Do the worksheets she gives you. If you do those few things you'll set your self up for an easy A. Tests are easy. Final was basically all the same test questions that were on the previous three test. Don't waste your money on the textbook, it's not used. Easy class.

Shes a really good teacher. I always struggled with economics but with her I really learned so much. Her lectures are amazing, she gives real life examples. + adds your credit points to your total grade! Easy quizzes, Tests arent too hard as long as you study her reviews. All and all shes great, I made a 95 in her class!

She's a good professor and she definitely wants her students to pass. Make sure you study for the tests because if you don't you won't do well in the class. There is online homework due every week, and there is also extra (which I suggest doing) at the end of the semester.

I felt like I was always taking a test or a quiz it was definitely my most busy class of the semester but it was pretty easy. She gives practice hand outs which are basically the quiz so study those youll be fine an homework is easy. Biggest advice is she gives a 100 practice questions at the end of the year its almost a copy of final!!!

This class is an easy A if you pay attention to the lectures and read over the worksheets and review sheets she makes before every test. There are 3 tests, 5 quizzes, and then the final. She also offers easy extra credits which can add up to 3 points to your final grade. Take her!!!

here's some tips if you want to make an A: write down your notes, study the worksheets she gives (word for word on the quiz and test), and study the reviews (word for word what's on her tests), don't be afraid to email her if you have questions. barely any HW (all online) I got 100s on her homework by getting a chegg subscription, good luck! 10/10

Ms Bergin is a great teacher! Economics is a hard subject but she really simplifies it. As long as you go to class and actually pay attention she pretty much sets you up for an A. Great teacher!

Econ can be hard, but she makes it very easy to understand & helps simplify it so you understand the material better. Only mandatory hw is on pearson, which will help you pass her tests. Her quizzes are so easy & she gives you two chances to get the right answer. Very little extra credit, but you don't need it. She is very reasonable. I recommend!!

Professor Begin was so much fun! She gives out great lectures and tells you what you need to study specifically. She's very funny and realistic in her way of teaching economics. She's not a huge fan of phones, but thats not a big deal. 110% take Professor Bergin!

She is super cool. Has some trouble with technology but she is aware of it and really try's for her students. Provides you with a ton of study material. Hw can be done in a couple days and you don't have to buy the access code. I will for sure be taking her for micro.

Awesome class nothing was very hard and she even writes out a summary of her lecture powerpoints and creates worksheets that have test questions on them. Everything is laid out clearly and was easy to follow. She also gives multiple extra credit opportunities. I took this class as a 5-week summer course and it was very easy to manage.

Professor Bergin is amazing. I've taken two of her econ classes this semester and they were easy. For tests, use the worksheets because those are the questions on the test. Most tests are online and NOT honorlocked. Do your myeconassignments to get credit for those (most are on quizlet or socratic). Ngl I really don't take notes in class.
