Dr. Co is AMAZING. she is the best professor I've had at BU so far. This class was challenging, but her stories made it so interesting and she was a very fair teacher, and grader. I enjoyed this class and looked forward to lectures she makes the material interesting and uses great examples to help you understand. The lab is easy if you do the work. Not sure why she gets low ratings, she truly cares, adjusts grading fairly, and makes anatomy manageable despite the memorization.

Dr. Co is my favorite professor that I've had. Make sure to read the textbook and the learning objectives that are given to you for the whole semester. If you can go through those LOs and answer them then you will do fine. There is a lot of outside studying that has to be done on your own because anatomy cannot be taught completely in class.

Dr. Co is good at lecturing the class, however, I believe her slides are hard to navigate and has little information. She also does not curve but takes questions out of grading if lots of students missed the question, which I personally do not prefer. She also seems very unorganized at times.

She is the worst professor I have ever had. Went over topics so fast, exams were difficult, lab practicals were impossible to pass. So much work for one class. Felt like this was the only class i spent all my time on. Professor Co is also the most unhelpful and awful professor you could pick. She does not care about the students circumstances.

You don't need to buy the textbook as long as you pay attention in lectures. Exams were very fair if you prepared, and bad questions were always removed. She's a good lecturer, but isn't very approachable outside of class in terms of conflicts and absences. She follows the class syllabus very strictly in both exams and course policies.

So shocked about the slander, as Dr. Co is hands down one of the BEST professors I've had. Yes I had to study harder in this class than in any other, but it was worth it. She's super nice in office hours and is crazy smart. Lecture went quick at times, but ask her to re-explain and she will. Tests were hard but not impossible. Just apply yourself.

Co never cancels lab even we are so behind on lecture. We just do whatever we haven't learned in lab and no one knows how to do it. Rush through the slides during lecture so we have to buy and read the book she published to learn. Funny how she makes a double on teaching one class.

Poor lecturer with confusing analogies. She wrote the textbook, which only makes the class harder. The learning objectives aren't even in order, and it's nearly impossible to find which ones match the textbook. Glad this is my last class with her.

Had Professor Co. for both Anatomy and Physiology. She is a solid professor for anatomy because it is all memorization, however phys is a different story. Phys is packed with all difficult concepts and she speeds through lecture content like crazy without explaining them thoroughly. She does not take feedback well and is moody.

Was good in 210 but a total letdown in 211. Asked for subtitles since it was hard to understand her—she told me to go to the Disabilities Office. Then sent an announcement blaming students over a misunderstanding that she acknowledged. Also said she's “waiting for the day the class average is 100”... be serious.

It's a shame to give this rating given that she's clearly very knowledgable and a talented lecturer. Had her in 210 which was hard but manageable, but like other reviews have said, she's a whole different person for physiology and specifically this semester. I've learned a lot in her class but her moodiness has really offput me in 211.

Dr. Co seemed off this semester in 211, with sudden mood shifts that made the class tense and unpredictable. She sped through lectures, gave unhelpful feedback, and her self-written textbook offered little clarity. Her case studies added no value, and her exams were extremely short, overly specific, and ignored the huge list of learning objectives.

VERY unapproachable & outright rude. Getting an A is impossible since she requires a 94 for an A in a course that is already difficult. Learning objectives don't match the textbook, yet she still forces students to buy her own book. Does not accommodate students, makes things harder than they need to be, and shows no interest in student's success.

Dr. Co was amazing! Exams were definitely hard, but doable with studying and application-style questions. Got no impression of rudeness at all, just seemed overwhelmed at times. Lectures at few times were rushed, but the organization of LO's and helpful study resources made the exams doable. So sweet in office hours! Lab/Tophat grade will SAVE you.

Interesting class that is completely ruined by her moody and unstable demeanor. Seeing and hearing about her tear into students for reasonable concerns and questions put me off asking questions in class, going to OH, etc. It seems like she's going through it outside of class and is displacing it onto students. Dr. Co is unorganized, unprofessional, rude and moody. Rushes through lectures and never fully explains anything. Exams are hyperspecific and don't line up well with LOs. I think all of the comments saying that Dr. Co doesn't care or has a bad attitude aren't fair. Yes, her anatomy class is very tough, and the exam questions can be tricky, but you will learn anatomy very well and be challenged in the process. I will say that lectures and labs could line up to help prepare us more. Overall, great professor!
