I'd recommend her for ANY level math class. I have her for calc and she's SO nice and helpful. Class attendance is critical though because the material can be confusing but she explains it on a simple level.

I really struggle with math, but Mrs. Creath has made my math class experience extremely successful and relatively painless. She's so sweet and nice, always patient and willing to explain the material to you. I would recommend that you go out of your way to get her as a professor for ANY math class you have to take.

This professor is extremely thorough and makes a point to explain each example in a way that everyone in the class can understand. She uses My Math Lab which provides examples and a text book making it easy to score very high on homework/quizzes and buying a textbook is unnecessary. This professor is highly recommended and you will be successful.

Ms. Creath is honestly the NICEST professor at UNCW. She is super helpful and makes math fun! I absolutely hated math before her class, but I loved her class! If you have to take a math class don't even think about taking it with another professor.

Ms. Creath has been one of my favorite college professors. She explains her lessons very well and is willing to help a student if they need clarification on a lesson. There are homework assignments, group quizzes, 3 tests, student teaching assignment, and a final. I'm glad I took this course and hope to take MAT 142.

She is an OUTSTANDING professor. Mrs. Creath truly cares about each of her students and will do anything to help you do well. The math that is explored in this course is very basic. Homework does not take more than ten minutes and is assigned once a week. Students must teach a lesson to the class, but we were given a partner to make it easier.

Calculus is hard subject material but she makes it super easy to understand. Definitely take her if you can! She's so helpful and nice. She gives you practice tests that are exactly the type of problems you'll have on the test.

Creath is awesome! I hate math, especially Calc, but i got a 96 in her class. She's super helpful, and makes the concepts understandable. I would recommend her a million times. Don't skip class! The material is too difficult. She also gives practice tests that are almost exactly the same as her real exams, same types of problems.

Such a sweet and amazing woman! She really does love math and it shows. She will work with everyone and is very nonjudgmental. I recommend her for anyone who is struggling with math because she WILL help you. Attendance isn't mandatory but try to go, it's a lot easier to learn the material when she's teaching it.

Greatest prof I've had at UNCW. Enjoys teaching math. Weekly hw with unlimited attempts. Test review packets before each exam that are exactly like the test. No tricks on test, just knowledge. Very outgoing, and always wants to help. Three lowest grades get dropped, and there is final exam replacement. Overall I would take her for every math class.

I have now taken 3 different courses with Ms. Creath and have loved her each of them! She really cares about her students and encourages you in your daily life. Her tests are not bad, and she makes her lessons fun, mostly hands-on activities. She also has a great personality and a great person to talk too! I now use her as a reference on my resume!

Loved this class! I enjoy math in the first place but Creath is very clear and passionate about her job. She makes sure you understand the subject and is very available to you. You do have quiz works and homework due nearly every week but if you understand the info, they're pretty easy. Tests are also pretty easy and a few have extra credit.

Prof. Creath is the most amazing professor UNCW has. I had already failed calculus once and was dreading taking it again. She is by FAR the best teacher I've ever had. She has a way of explaining things in a way everyone can understand. I passed calculus with ease! I would recommend her to anyone that has to take any kind of math - she is AMAZING!

The nicest teacher I have ever had at UNCW hands down. Was always willing to help her students without being condescending and has a very bubbly personality. Yes, you do have to do the assignments and seek extra help for this class if you don't understand the lesson in order to pass, but Ms. Creath is definitely the prof. that will get you there!

If your best learning style is having clear and easy-to-follow notes, then her teaching methods will benefit you. She teaches from the same notes that she gives you online to print off and follow along with, which is really helpful. She encourages students to visit her office hours and is really helpful and nice. Overall, she's a great teacher.

Math sucks, but she's such a great teacher. She has outlines of all her notes that you can print out if you want to follow along. She's always willing to help you out, especially if you're like me and have no clue how to do anything math related. Very cute, sweet teacher!

Take her class. Her class was absolutely amazing! She is very good about making sure everyone is on track and is always in her office when needed. If you miss a class it isn't a big deal but you shouldn't skip a lot. She gives group activities and homework but neither are difficult and both help raise your grade.

The best class I've taken at UNCW. She is one of the best professors as well. Will help you before tests if you need help. Not too much homework. The tests are sometimes hard but if you study you'll do fine. She is very passionate and genuinely cares about her students. If I needed more math credits I'd definitely try to find a class with her!

I would recommend professor Creath to Any student! She tries to make the material as easy as possible to understand, she is truly invested in your success and she makes class fun! Absolutely LOVE HER. MUST TAKE!! She is so helpful and made Calc seem like a total breeze. You do have homework but it helps with tests and quizzes and bumps up your grade! She is a amazing teacher. Had her for an 8 AM and but her enthusiasm quickly made you forget it was morning. Gives great study material and unlimited attempts on homework making it very easy to get an A. She even gave us extra credit on a test once because she was a few minutes late due to traffic accidents.

Ms. Creath was, by far, one of my most favorite professors since being at UNCW. Ms. Creath has a way of explaining math in a way that just makes sense. I highly recommend printing her lecture notes, which are available on MyMathLab and visiting her during office hours if you have any difficulty. She is extremely helpful, caring, and approachable.

I loved Ms. Creath. I haven't taken a math class since sophomore year in high school, but it was okay. It gets a bit harder towards the end, but as long as you keep up in the class you can do well (I'm not one to put tons of effort in either). The homework is online and your grade benefits entirely if you just do it, it's only twice a week.

FOR MILITARY VETERAN STUDENTS TAKING MAT 111- Did this class after MAT 105. She's friendly, use her office hours and math lab in Depaolo for homework and before tests/quizzes. Being a vet student she helped me understand how to navigate the graph calculator. Currently using new ALEKS program. Not good at math and passed.

She is so nice and is so willing to help you. She's always offering help inside and outside of class. She makes it interesting. Doesn't take attendance but math class is hard to skip. She makes her own notes for you and they are awesome. She's a strict and picky grader though.

I didn't even have Ms. Creath as a teacher but I went to all of her review sessions for the MAT 111 tests and she was absolutely incredible! I swear I would be so confused going in to her session and after seeing her I got A's on all the tests! If you have an opportunity to have her for MAT 111 do it!!

Awesome professor. She is super sweet and will go out of her way to help you understand the material. Hands down my favorite teacher at uncw. Took her for MAT111 and loved her and knew I needed to take her for MAT151 if I wanted to pass. She simplifies the material so its very easy to understand. She is a very sweet funny women who makes learning math a breeze. She goes through her notes with you and allows you to print them out. Lectures are step by step how to do the math. The hw is on ALEKS and although it may take a few hours its due every Friday but she extends them if needed- you really know your stuff by the Friday quizzes. Love her!

Gives amazing lectures that you can actually understand and doesn't require a lot of homework or attendance. Her class is easy to go to and fun

Ms. Creath is probably the nicest professor I have ever had. She truly goes out of her way to meet the needs of all of her students. The class has 4 tests and then a final. All of the tests are extremely easy if you do the homework or have a basic knowledge of pre-calculus.

I took the hybrid class with Creath, so we had one lecture per week with a lot of online homework. I loved the class because Creath gave great lectures and there are many opportunities to get help if you are confused. If you are taking Math 111 I strongly recommend taking the hybrid course with Creath.

Ms Creath was an awesome teacher. I had her hybrid class so we only met once a week and did everything online, but she made the most out of the one day a week. Lectures were clear, you print an outline before class and fill it in as you go through which is helpful while you're doing the homework. ALEKS was long some weeks which can make it tough.

SUCH a great teacher and all around person! Probably the best math teacher I've ever had! I was doomed to fail but ended up with a C! She's a good professor for math. I understood most of her lectures. The only thing that's hard about the class is the Homework, which is on a website called ALEKS.

Ms Creath is an INCREDIBLE professor and I highly recommend her to all students, especially if you struggle with math. All the MAT 111 course loads are the same the only difference is the person actually giving the lecture. Its a hybrid course so all the homeworks and quizzes are online. Lecture and tests are in person. Creath knows what she's talking about and is really good about giving help when needed. One required meeting day a week and one optional lab 4 help

Take Mrs. Creath! Obviously algebra is a super easy class but she made it incredibly easier. Aleks is very simple and you can managed to get a 100 on everything. Class is not super necessary to go to because the material is slight but if you are confused about anything Creath wil guide you through everything.

If i had a teacher like Creath in high school, I wouldn't have needed math111. She explains things clearly and stops to explain any questions respectfully. She has lecture outlines that allow you to follow along and gives partial credit on tests. Office hours are so helpful, she is one of the nicest teachers on campus

I am completely inept in math and still managed to do moderately well in math. She is very caring, takes time to answer your questions and ensure you understand, and is very fair. Your grade primarily relies on Aleks and tests, with quizzes being online with multiple attempts. I would take her again.

I absolutely loved this teacher! She is very good at math and teaching it. I am not a math person and I got an A just by showing up (even though she doesn't take attendance) and doing the online homework/ quizzes. She's really helpful in her office hours so if you don't understand something definitely go talk to her. 10/10 would reccomend

I suck at math but can pass this class really easily, there's a bunch of online homework, but as long as you don't do it all the night before you'll be fine. She's a really good teacher and does teach things in a concise and clear manner. Do the test prep and homework!

She made the class fun, generally math isn't my favorite but I didn't taking it with her. She assigns online HW once a week but she reminds you before it's due. If you go to class, participate, ask questions, and study you will do fine!

I LOOOVE MS CREATH!! Honestly she was my favorite teacher i have EVER had. Most math teachers suck, and i think thats something we can all agree on, but not Ms Creath. She always, ALWAYS, had a smile on her face and was willing to answer any "dumb" questions you might have. Wonderful classroom environment, and she will help you until you get it :-)

She is an amazing professor! I had her for the fall 2020 semester and our class was still offered in person. The course was primarily taught using her own lecture outlines and also ALEKS. There were a variation of quizzes or tests every week, which is easy if you put in effort. I would 10/10 recommend her for any math class!

I loved this class, Ms. Creath is an overall great prof. She teaches really well, is super understanding, and easy to reach. She is very organized and made it clear what the week's assignments were. The week's HW was always due Thursdays and test/quizzes were always on Friday. This was for sure one of the best classes I've had. I highly recommend!

She doesn't make math overwhelming and she has personality. She is the sweetest. If you don't have a good background in math, go to class. I did have a good background for this course, but I went anyways. She's just so nice. There is a pretty consistent weekly pattern for assignments: practice, homework, quiz. She gave unlimited attempts on homework, so if you want to spend the time, you can perfect everything! And, she gives two attempts on each exam! So if you're not happy with your first score, you can study a little, and try again! She actually wants you to learn and be successful in the class. What more could you want? Would definitely take again.

Ms. Creath is caring, incredibly smart, and always willing to help during office hours. The course was fast-paced (and I took it during COVID, so that of course had some impact) but she handled it with grace. Lesson review quizzes every week, tests every few weeks, and a computer program where I basically taught myself. But she was always there!

Wonderful teacher! She explains everything thoroughly and easy to understand. She provides great follow along notes and lots of ways to study for exams. She uses an online program to do homework that's very helpful. You don't need a physical textbook, you just need the online program. Made me enjoy math!

This has by far been my favorite professor in college so far! This class is a very engaging group work class so participation is key. It is a fun class in general because of the easy math you are learning. Definitely take her if you can over any other professor for MAT 141.

Professor Creath is a very good Math teacher, in fact, probably the best one I have had in a while. She is caring and super sweet. If you are an incoming Freshman who is bad at math or even good at it, take her class. She explains the material well and in detail. There is not a terrible amount of homework, but there is some (just don't get behind).

Best math teacher. Went at a great speed not slow but not fast. Answered every question and made math easy if you paid attention. A good amount of homework but that's normal for any math professor. Quizzes were take home.

Amazing! She understands most kids take her class just for college math credit, and she also understands some kids HATED math in high school. Print lecture notes - so helpful because she works through them slowly, step-by-step each class. No penalty if you don't go to class, but if you do it's so much easier. Quizzes are take home, tests in person.

Professor Creath was a great professor. She really cares about her students and is very understanding when things come up. She is willing to explain things in different ways to help her students understand the material. The homework that we had helped us prepare for the Praxis and you could do as many practice problems as you wanted.

(for the course math for liberal arts) Professor Creath is kind, understanding, and well versed in the topic. She makes each concept easy to understand by breaking it down into definitions and practice problems. Though lectures are not mandatory I'd recommend going to them to stay on top of the work.

i actually took math 101 from professor creath. she explains everything thoroughly and hands out a note packet to fill in for every unit. i think we had 5 homework assignments all semester and they took half an hour or less. she drops the lowest hw, group activity, and exam which really helps with the grade.

Mrs. Creath is the best math teacher ever. She notices when students are struggling and provides extra credit and all you have to do is take the practice test, and it helps you anyways. My favorite math professor I have ever taken. She was very clear about what was on tests and made sure to teach in a way that everyone would understand. Definitely take her!

Professor Creath was one of the best teachers I have ever had, I have always struggled with math but she really cared about each of her students and wanted us to succeed. Even though Math 101 is an easier class, she never made anyone feel dumb for not knowing the material and encourgaed us to ask questions to gain clarity to understand the work.

She is so sweet. Used ALEKS and had homework due every module, about every week. Had one quiz a week that was 5 questions on ALEKS. Her notes style is AMAZING and she talks through the steps very well. Wish she was going to teach calculus next semester.

One of the best professor's that I have ever had. She does an excellent job explaining the material and engaging with her students. You can tell when a professor genuinely cares about their students, and she does.

One of the best math professors at the school. She takes things slow to make sure everybody in the class understands what is going on. Goes over many examples in class and the module homework is due a week from learning the material. The exam's are just like the study guides she provides, so as long as you put in the effort the class is easy.

She is great! Lectures are not mandatory, but she does "graded activitys" every few weeks that are mandatory and make up most of your grades for the class. Occasional online homework that is super easy. Overall, the material reminded me of middle school level math. I would take only if you dont need other math credits.

Ms. Creath is a very laid back professor and made me finally be able to understand math for the first time. She gives out graded activities rather than test which you can work on as a group. Her lectures are easily understandable and she is willing to answer questions.

Mrs. Creath is one of the best math professors I've ever had. She's always willing to help you if you don't understand something. There are no quizzes or tests. She teaches slowly so that you can understand the content. Overall this class was super easy. Ended with a 98%

Professor Creath is the best teacher I've ever had in my life. She makes math very easy and will ensure by the end of the class you understand the material. Even if you don't she is very easy to reach outside of class to set up office hours. The easiest way to pass her exams is to study the study guide!!

There are no tests. Four homework modules that are very short due throughout the semester. Instead of tests graded activities are given during class that you work on with classmates. the two lowest scoring graded activities are dropped. Professor Creath is very nice and explains concepts very clearly and posts completed notes on canvas.

She is literally one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She has notes for u on canvas and clearly goes over each concept, she is available for help and is always willing to be. The tests are easy if you keep up with homework and notes, there is a decent amt of homework but its the same concepts from the notes so u can just go back.

Professor Creath was amazing! She went slow during her lectures and made sure everyone got the topics before moving on. She didn't give any test instead she did graded activities where you could work in groups and the questions on those where exactly like the ones in the lecture notes. Would take again.

I 100 percent recommend taking this class. You do not need to go to class and it is super easy to get an A. There are only eight required graded activities with around 10 questions each, and she drops the two lowest grades. Super easy and stress free!

She is amazing, if you have the opportunity to take a class with her do it! She grades fairly and makes it hard to get a bad grade in the class. She really cares about her students and explains everything very thoroughly.

I loved having Ms. Creath. She cares so much for her students and genuinely wants them to succeed in & outside her class. You have a quiz every week but as long as you go to class they aren't bad. She knows how to teach people who don't like math & her material is very digestible. Wish I could have her as a prof again bc she is so sweet - take her!

Very easy class. We barely had any homework, but when we did she gave us like two weeks to complete it. The quizzes she gave out were taken with a group, as well as a group final. We took notes the whole class and always ended early. As long as you take the notes you will be fine.

Take Professor Creath!! She is an amazing professor. I'm horrible at math but her class was my easiest to understand this semester. She makes hard math easy to understand, and she's so caring and understanding with her students. Please please take her if you can, she's the best professor I've had at UNCW so far.

Professor Creath is amazing! You can tell she is passionate and wants all of her students to excel. The only work is homework on Aleks, quizzes every week, but majority of the time they are open notes, and 3 tests plus the final. I am not a math person and did horrible in precalc in high school, but Ms. Creath made it simple and fun for me.

Highly recommend Prof Creath for math 101, it was super easy and she's really nice!

I love professor Creath, she has amazing lectures and is great at explaining content, she's not a difficult grader but not a super easy one either. I would recommend her to any student that goes to UNCW.

Mrs Creath was the best teacher I've had at UNCW, I am terrible with math and came out with an easy A. Don't have to go to class unless its a graded assignment and she basically gives all the answers. Definitely recommend if you want an easy math

Prof. Myatt was an amazing professor! She cares a lot about her students & truly helps. Attendance is only mandatory on graded activity days, and it usually only takes 20-30 minutes to do the assignment! There are no exams and no tests, but 4 homework assignments you need to keep up with because they can tank your grade. Good luck!!!

Literally such a good prof and super nice

So sweet, explains everything well, allows 4 exempt quizzes and 2 exempt hw, as long as ypu complete the hw you get a 100, gives outlined notes.

She is the sweetest ever; all quizzes, homework, and exams are online, including the final exam. She goes over everything before each exam, and all the questions are basically the same. She is able to teach and answer all the questions I have before I can even ask them. Amazing Professor!
