My vote for professor of the year. She is a great lady and it is a very enjoyable class. She brings in food and gives u points for just going. I love this lady!!!

She was so down to earth and willing to help with any question you had. I would definitely take her again.

Very down to earth teacher. Will bend over backwards to help you. I'd take another course with her again. Very Very Easy. Only 3 papers to do.

Very Very Easy class. Attendance is mandatory. She is a very nice lady that will bend over backwards to help one. Ms. Crowll I thought was a much easier teacher then my last English class. There are 3 papers and each one of them is informative. One of them is on an old black and white movie. Received an A. Spring 2006

She's nice but would be better for high school or maybe ever middle school kids.

If you can, take her for this class!!! She is so EASY! the day before a test she gives a review that includes about 80% of the test questions, the EXACT test questions. We never used the book, so there is no need to buy it. Attendance is mandatory but most people would sign-in and then leave after she started a movie. Her class is an easy A!!!!

Liz is awesome. Nothing more really to say. Cares, helps, and grades fairly. Unlike half the other ENGL professors on this campus she doesn't show favoritism. CROWLL FOR QUEEN!!!

She was really nice and helpful. Class was easy. COnsisted of a series of journals and papers. But easy, just had to do them. She's very helpful so if anything ever came up she'd help you out.

She made this class very easy. She would hand out study guides for each exam which was extremely helpful. She is a no nonsense type of person so do not try to pull anything on her. You obviously need to go to class to watch the movies. She passes a attendance sheet around each class, you are able to miss 3 classes for the semester. Take her!

She is an alright teacher, but her grading rubric is completely haywire. I never knew what grade I had in her class. She means well, but she can be "out there" at times.

Ms. Crowell is very kind as long as you show her respect. She expects you to take her class seriously and to come to class! You definitely have to stay on top of your work in order to pass with a decent grade.

She is a tough one but if you stay on top of things, show up to class, and do your work on time she will do anything to help you out.

She was very understanding if you ever have a family emergency or if you had to miss class for a good reason. Most paper's were easy except for the final paper. Don't procrastinate on it. Class is very boring and you don't really need to pay attention. Only complaint was that she said that book was mandatory, not able to rent and never used it.

She is amazing! I took this class in spring of 2014 and had no idea what was going on in there at all and I failed. She has a great way of explaining things and makes sure you understand. She explains things in 'english lingo' and then in english! I would absolutely take her again!

Betsy is one of the best intro instructors I've ever had. She doesn't try to teach upper class material in an intro. The things you learn are relevant and give you base knowledge foundation. Other intro profs could learn a lot from her playbook.

Really really good lady. Awesome lecturer with very clear examples. Always in office for office hours and is very easy to talk to. If you take her you will appreciate her way of doing things. Always had a curve appropriate for class performance. Great teacher!

She's also more than willing to meet during office hours if you're not understanding the material. She's somewhat flexible with test and quiz dates. Class schedule is organized.

I took mrs crowll because my friend recommended her. I am sincerely glad that I did. Attend class or enjoy reading and writing. Easy choice, right? I would still recommend her highly.

My friend and I had her for Writing 2. Gave a lot of slack towards the class, you really have to screw up to fail. Very helpful for writing the paper.

fun class if you do your part in reading and going to class. She's a very funny teacher and doesn't take everything so seriously which is good. . i really like her teaching style and wish she taught more classes. i recommend taking her.

Took history of motion pictures and there are 3 tests for the entire class and the last test is the final. Notes and study guides are emailed by her ahead of time, so no writing is necessary! She spends a review day before each test and let's students know exactly what bullet points to study. Simple memorization and all easy, multiple choice.

Mrs. Crowll is one of the best profs I've had so far. She breaks the big final paper into smaller, easier to digest pieces, and makes the overall process very easy. It is impossible to fail this class. However, don't not do the assignments. She's very fair, and very funny. Class never lasts the whole 50 minutes either. About as good as you can get.

Dr. Crowll is one of the BEST professors I have had. She is so much fun, caring, and understanding. She made writing papers easy and fun, as she broke down the bigger essays into smaller parts, making sure we understood what we were doing. She is absolutely wonderful!
