She kept me super interested and I looked forward to going to her class every day. She will probably make you want to be a PSYC major haha. Definitely my favorite teacher!!

If you are looking for an easy grade TAKE DOSE! not only her classes are very easy ( her projects and her test are like middle school ones ) but her energy and her lectures are awesome! She really loves what she does! Only half way through semester but i almost sure i will pass with an A+

BEST professor I have ever had! TAKE HER. All her tests are take home or in groups. No final exam just a third test (was a group test) her "activities" aka projects are super easy. She is hilarious and has been in the field for a while so gives you tons of crazy stories about her patients. 3 points off attendance grade every day you miss class.

Tests are mostly take home or in groups. Very enthusiastic about what she teaches. Never a dull moment! I would recommend her any day!

Professor Dose is such a people's person. She is VERY involved and truly cares about her students. I'm taking her class via D2L and I really enjoy how engaged everyone is in the discussion, especially Professor Dose. Make time to read each chapter and study along using the power points.

Loved this class. Lectures are so interesting, and she's always telling personal stories from her years of working in therapy and in the field. There are only 3 tests, (1 is take home) - and they're not scantron so when in doubt, write about something you learned in the class if you don't know an answer - she loves extra credit!

I took Dr. Dose for online human growth and development and it was a great experience. The assignments consists of weekly discussion posts, 3 exams and an autobiography or research paper (your choice) She gives good feedback on how you are doing in the class and seems to really care about her students. I would not hesitate to take her class again!

Professor Dose's class is one of the most interesting classes i have ever been in! She has a different story to tell nearly everyday and they always help me to remember the concepts we're learning about. She is also super exciting to be around and can light up a whole room. :)

I love Elizabeth Dose! She is wonderful, sweet, caring, I could go on. I wish I could take her for everything I need. She answers e-mails super fast and gives long, caring answers. Her lectures were so educational and interesting. I never missed a class. You really do not need the book if you attend class regularly. She gives great notes.

I absolutely loved Dose! Out of 30 students I was the only Psych Major so she understands some are only taking the class as an elective but still keeps it interesting. She's very straightforwards about what will be on the tests, which usually consist of fill in the blank and multiple choice. As long as you study the day before u should do fine.

Professor Dose was AMAZING. I had her online and I also did early bird advising with her one year and she is an amazing lady I highly recommend to all students looking to take this course.

Professor Dose is fabulous. Had her online PSYC2103 class. Thorough discussions, ample information and power points available. Very approachable and upbeat. I recommend her to any student taking this class. Wish there were more like her

Absolutely wonderful to be in her class. Her lectures are based off of years of field work and experience, thus, they are VERY entertaining and educational. Her tests are pretty tough, and use about 60/40 ratio of lecture to textbook information. However, just ask her for help and she'll all but give you the test answers. She loves the students!

Her tests are not the easiest, so make sure you come to class and take good notes. She is a very nice and bright person and makes lecture very interesting.

Dr. Dose is one of the best professors I have had at GHC! I had her for Intro to Psych. and for Careers in Psych (online); both of these classes were easy because she made the topic extremely interesting and wanted students to excel. Anyone needing psyc1101 or those pursuing a degree in psychology needs to take her class!!

This Prof is AMAZING! She is very educated and inspirational. I looked forward to going to her class every day. There are 3 tests, 2 are take home and 1 is group test. Easy A!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and she's hilarious. You have to study and pay attention. I didn't study much and got a C. Not because she was hard, I honestly didn't put in enough effort (I had a lot going on personally). 100% recommend. Completely engaging and full of fun.

Mrs. Dose is an awesome teacher! I thought that my Psychology class would be difficult, but with her, it was fun. She might be one of the best professors at Georgia Highlands, so you should take her if that class is required.

Amazing, kind-hearted, and caring professor! Easiest online class I've ever taken! She is very helpful and makes the class fun with current event discussion posts/replies, powerpoints, unit essays, unit exams, semester reflection (your choice of doing a research paper or an autobiography about your life), and unit quizzes.

Professor Dose is by far my favorite professor. If you get the chance to take one of her classes do not pass up the opportunity! She will not only help you learn the material but she gives you real world ways you can use what you've learned. She cares deeply for her students and it shines through in her teaching!

FABULOUS! She always makes herself available, even if the class is online. I have taken her classes both online and in person. She makes her points very clear and works with her students to help them gain a deeper understanding. If you get the chance to take a class in person I would recommend it 100%. Her lectures are detailed and instructional.

She is absolutely hilarious and I am so glad I got to take her. Would 110% take her again if I could. We had 3 Tests and 2 of them were take home but all of the information was given in the lectures so show up and take notes.

Mrs. Dose is the best professor! She is so amazing and her lectures are really interesting and inspiring. She makes everything hilarious and relates it to students. You can tell she truly cares about her students. Also, mosts test were take-home and final was optional which makes the class extremely easy.

Professor Dose is honestly one of the most knowledgeable teachers I've taken at GHC. She's way more accessible than other professors and is also extremely helpful in regards to advising (for all majors, better than a real advisor TBH). Even in the semesters, I haven't had her she is still very helpful and caring, coursework and all. Overall 12/10.

Having taken Dose in person already, now taking her online, I can still say she is by far one of the best professors I've had. Even though this was an online course she was always quick to reply to emails with questions, comments, etc. and was very helpful. This course (w/her guidance) helped me decide on a future career path & I'm so happy!

Fantastic!! Would totally take her again!!! She uses real world examples to explain things and lets you use notes on almost every test! Couple assignments, but you get to do partner work. Overall enjoyable class

Professor Dose is one the most outstanding professors I have taken at GHC. She truly cares about her students. Her lectures are inviting and inspirational. She is readily available outside the classroom with helpful feedback or guidance. Did I mention she's also hilarious? 10/10 recommend taking her classes if you have the option!

Mrs. Dose is an amazing teacher I learned way more than I expected! there are about 3 assignments, but you can take them home and she gives around 2-3 days so its fairly easy. There are 3 test 2 are take home one is in class. no midterm/final. test are all from the lectures so write everything she says down. she also takes off 5pts if u miss a day.

Professor Dose is BY FAR the best professor I have ever had. I took her class Human Development for the first time this summer and loved it. Her class makes you think and put things into your perspective. Its so easy, and you can use notes and google for tests. The writing is self-constructed which is cool. She gives great feedback and is kind!

I took her online dev. psych class and the class was fairly easy. You have to log on every week and post a discussion and reply, but other than that there are only 3 exams with 25 MC and 5 self-constructed short essay questions. If you needed to take a week off, the class was flexible and you could double up on discussions for the next week.

Professor Dose is the best professor I've ever had. I was nervous taking her class for psychology because it is not a class I would usually pick. But she made the class so interesting and fun that it has me reconsidering my major. Would definitely recommend her and would take her again anytime. Guaranteed to pass and enjoy the class.

I cant say enough good things about Dose! She is literally everything you could ask for in a college professor. You actually want to attend class and are engaged (and laughing) the entire time. Its so much fun, you dont even realize youre learning. Recommend 1000 times over!

I took her Careers in Psychology class online and it was very fascinating. All you have to do is write notes from the book (it's graded), do discussion posts, and a semester project. She genuinely seems to care. I almost cried a few times while reading her feedback since she would leave such sweet comments and encourage my goals.

Professor Dose is a great professor to have when you need emotional support or somebody to discuss your ideas with via email. She helps you a lot and gives incredible feedback when you ask. As long as you reach out to her and put forth effort, she will recognize that and give you the same respect in return.

There's a lot of writing but she knows what she's doing because I learned so much. She's ALWAYS available and so helpful. She's the nicest teacher I've ever had. I've taken her for 2 of my required Psych classes. She's amazing!!

Mrs. Dose is great! I 100% recommend taking her class. I have her for online careers in psychology and it is fairly easy. The test is not your typical test. You write out points that stood out to you in each chapter. The class mostly consists of discussion posts and you pick the topic. She is very understanding and responds to emails quickly!

Nice and helped when needed but in grades right away

One of the best Professors I've ever had. Very caring, gives wonderful feedback, even if you make 100%. Lots of assignments, papers, and discussion board heavy BUT she is a very easy grader and gives you wonderful, caring insight. Also was wonderful enough to accommodate me while I had COVID.

Dr. Dose is absolutely the best! She is so kind, compassionate and understanding. Her classes and exams were a breeze. She is a breath of fresh air when it comes to dealing with difficult professors. All of the information for the course in her PowerPoints and listed reading material. I wish I could have her as a professor for every class.

Elizabeth was a fantastic professor. I took her course online and I enjoyed the way everything was laid out. It was very organized. She also used and referenced plenty of outside resources. This was very validating as it provided an example of how the knowledge we were learning could be applied in real life.

I am currently taking my second and third class with Dose, one class is online and one in person. I can not recommend her enough! She is so informative and passionate about the world of psychology. Even if you're not a psych or criminal justice major, take her anyway!

She is AMAZING! Take her if you can! She grades based on the content of your writing, yes there are many assignments but there is more than enough time to do them. I made a 95 in the class. She gave extensive and clear feedback on EVERYTHING and graded quickly. She truly cares and gives you freedom with what you would like to write about.

Professor Dose is a breath of fresh air! She truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. There is a decent amount of reading, discussions, three tests (open note), and a few simple activities. She responds to emails and shows up for her students. Hands down the BEST professor I've had since I've been a college student. I wish she could teach every single subject lol! I've had 3 classes with her so far, (one every year) & I hope I have more.
