Mrs.Breen is nice, but a difficult teacher. She has a strict attendance and tardy policy. There is a group project due every week and three exams. She talks very fast and has a valley girl voice. Makes the material easy to understand,likes questions

She explains things really quickly but makes it so you can understand. Helpful if you ask questions, you have to study but its accounting so you need to anyway!!

She's really nice and will answer back through email really quick and is usually a big help! She's really difficult though and she talks extremely fast! Otherwise, she's good.

Take her for 2122! She is a great teacher and recognizes each student by name. She is always willing to help out, especially if you email her. Check the web site frequently, she often gives last min hints!

She moves fast, but she's a good teacher. She's helpful outside of the class. Not alot of office hours, but great through email, responds very quickly. She's nice and willing to answer questions. She never has class the day of an exam.

To make sure she gets through all of what Acct2 is she goes fast. But she offers the material in a very easy to understand method. It's the amount of effort you want to put in that will determine your grade. Great class!

Great teacher. Accounting is not fun, but she makes it easy to understand and gives good notes and examples in class. Study notes and do the assigned problems from the book, and the exams will be ok.

This is not an easy class or subject. The tests are pretty hard. But she is one of the best accouting I professors. You'll have to put in a good amount of work to do well.

The class can get boring at times but she's so hot it'll keep you into it. She'll work with you outside of class if you need it too. Quizzes really help you with the test and she gives so much extra work that you can try theres no way you cant practice the material. Did i mention she's hot????

This is a tough class but she really tries to help you understand it. Quizzes and tests are pretty difficult and although she strongly advises you do the homework, she doesn't take it up. If you to go class and put some effort into it, you can come out with a decent grade because she gives you lots of chances to do well.

I thought the class was going to be extremely hard, but she is so helpful and gives many ways to help raise your grade. The quizes are hard, but she gives extra points to help in the final grade. I would suggest everyone take her! : )

I can't say enough good things about Mrs. Breen. If you get the chance to take her class, take it. She is so helpful, teaches the material so clearly and provides more than enough materials for you to be well prepared for the exams. If you put in the effort and use the study tools she provides, you shouldn't have any problems.

She's an amazing teacher. She is very fair. Do the learnsmart & Homework. practice moodle quizzes, practice exam practices and you will do just fine. Attendance is must (can miss u to 2 days )She is extremely helpful. I recommend her fully. She looks like Celine Dion.

Breen is so clear and so helpful! She makes the course material easy to understand. If you put in a little work outside of the classroom and study hard for tests you'll do great! Easy to listen to. You will learn a lot.

Amazing professor! Accounting is a difficult subject, and I definitely had to study a lot, but she was very helpful along the way. She answered any questions and in a timely manner. Definitely there to help students. There's homework due every week and clicker questions for participation and attendance, so come to class.

Accounting is hard. Thankfully I was able to get into Betsy's class. If I had anyone else I probably would have ended up with a C or D in this class. Also, this is a weed out class for business majors. Get Betsy and you'll be in great shape!

Mrs. Breen is a really great professor. Accounting is pretty hard but she's willing to help. The tests are pretty hard but if you do the practice tests and study from wiley plus it helps.

Accounting is an extremely tough subject, but Professor Breen makes it manageable. She notices class participation and attendance, and will be more likely to help you if you attend class often. Quizes, clicker points, and homework all add up to be equivalent to what your final grade is worth, so make sure you take advantage of those points.

accounting is not an easy subject but professor breen try her best to explain it. the tests are from the department so she has nothing to do with how tough the questions are, and i think it's fair that the exams are from the department so all the students get a fair shot at this tough class. she's very helpful and she is the best.

Professor Breen is a good teacher and I would definitely recommend taking her! She really wants everyone to succeed. Accounting in general is a hard subject due to all the material being new to you. Don't fall behind in this class because it's too much information to try to catch up on, and cramming SUCKS. ended up being a curve which saved my life

Professor Breen's teaching style is great, she gives you a chapter outline and you just have to fill in the blanks and go along with the slides They really helped & so did the clicker questions. but her exams are tough if you do the BAP practice tests and quizzes and go to class you should do fine. in exams&hw will save you if you bomb the final

Highly recommend Mrs. Breen! She understands that accounting is difficult and tries her best to get you through it! 3 tests, final exam. Homework is not bad and she uses clickers as attendance. She is so sweet and easy to talk to! Take her! :)

Professor Breen is amazing! I got a B in ACCT1, and easily made an A in ACCT2 because of her. She really knows her stuff and is passionate about the material. Great at explaining things and answering questions. Always willing to help if you get stuck on HW. 3 exams and a final. Final is kinda tough. Do ALL the HW and come to class for clickers pts!

While accounting is generally a difficult class as long as you pay attention and do you homework you will be fine. Far too many of my fellow students used chegg or other services to complete there homework and suffered because of it. If you pay attention and do all your homework you are sure to get A's or B's on the tests.

Professor Breen is my best professor yet. A professor that actually knows what she is talking about. The lectures are super helpful and she gives lecture outlines so note taking is easier. There are a lot of online assignments, as long as you keep up with those and study for the tests, this is a good class.

I've talked to people in other sections and they don't get as much help as we do (notes, quizzes that resemble the test). Humble, helpful, kind, wants you to do well, grades on curves when needed, extra credit points. She's a real gem and makes you feel known even in a large class.

Solid professor who knows what she is teaching. I don't know what people are talking about when they say this class is difficult. If you actually do the homework and study a reasonable amount it is fairly easy. Only complaint is homework was sometimes uploaded like a day before it was due. Take this professor.

Professor Breen is amazing. 2121 and 2122 have a decent bit of homework and can be tough but nothing excessive. Her lectures are very clear and she is happy to clarify things. She is very easily accessible outside of class. She was very helpful with any questions or issues. Take her class! I'm glad I had her for both classes.

Betsy is very resourceful, she knows what she's talking about and is always willing to help. Her ACCT I class definitely feels like two classes with the difficulty of accounting, and the homework. Tests are hard so spend more time studying than usual!

Breen is an excellent professor. She takes a subject that can be boring and for many, very difficult, and makes it interesting and easy to learn. She has a passion for the subject. Reviews say it's a hard class, but I think you just have to be a good student. She can come off as snippy, but she just doesn't tolerate slackers or bad students.

She is one of the best professors Ive had. I like how she gives us the lecture notes with blanks to fill in before class so we dont have to write the notes down word by word. Theres a good amount of homework but nothing excessive and a lot of the homework problems have tutorials with them. If you put in the work for this class you'll be good.

Accounting is a difficult class in general but she gives outlines that she explains in class which the test and quizzes are based off of. She outlines what you need to study before the quizzes and exams. Also, she has flexible office hours and is available whenever it is needed. She is a great professor!!

Mrs. Breen can be a tough teacher in a tough class. But she absolutely gives all the resources necessary to make a good grade. If you want to actually learn accounting and not just pass, she's the one to take. She will also round grades at the end of the semester! Would recommend.

Very competent Accounting teacher, and will return whatever attitude you give her. The textbook is required as the homework is assigned through it, and there are a few things not taught in class that you may need to look up on the rare occasion. Have a mobile device ready for class as she will take attendance through online polling questions.
