The BEST math teacher I've ever had in my life. For the first time I actually learned math. Go to class, do the practice tests, and you will pass. VERY strict about attendance, but willing to help as much as she can. Gives multiple choice tests.

She's not a great teacher, but she'll work with you. Attendance and home work count for a lot, so you can do poorly on the exams and still pull off an A. I'd take it from her again, just because I know others would be harder.

Calc 2 is not an easy class to begin with. She was able to explain the concepts clearly and effectively for everyone to understand. If you do the homework, then you'll definitely get an A. Attendance counts for 10 percent, but you shouldn't miss any classes anyways since most concepts can be hard to learn on your own. Great teacher!!

I love her! I am horrible at math, but was making excellent grades in her class. She is the perfect example of what a teacher should be. They need to hire more teachers like her, and not these crackhead hacks who dont know whats going on. IMPORTANT: Register for her early, she is a campus fav.

I honestly liked Mrs. Eagle a lot. She was very sweet and the class isn't too hard. I'm still in it right now, but she's an easy person to talk to and understand. She's willing to go back over something if you dont get it or you can drop by her office during hours. I would definitely recommend her if you had trouble with math in the past. :]]

A few take-home quizes and occasional HW, but it's easy-extra grade padding. Writes own notes each class then posts them online for viewing so you dont have to take notes. You can actually learn in class and not have to worry taking notes the whole time. She is an amazing teacher. Very lenient and understanding if you need more time for HW.

Good professor! Attendance is mandatory but if you do need to miss she posts her notes online. Gives lots of opportunity for extra credit. Tells you exactly what's going to be on the test from the homework. Very helpful

Mrs. Eagle is the sweetest person! she's very helpful and understanding. all of her notes are posted on her website but attendance is mandatory, since it is a math class. if you are going to take math 0900 then you should definitely take it w/ her. i think she teach math 1101 too but only in the spring [not sure]

First let me say that I am not that good at math, but I am a good student!The book is extremly helpful, since her tests are the book problems she assigns to do on our own. If you aren't a math wiz, you NEED to do the book problems. Overall, great class because of a great teacher.

Extensive use of text book. She posts copy of solutions manual, so DON"T buy it! Test Qs are nearly identical to practice, just different numbers. Enjoys answering questions about math.

Best maths instructor in the department! I nearly flunked math in high school, but Mrs Eagle explains things so thoroughly (a million times if needed) that failing her class is IMPOSSIBLE unless you deliberately try to. You need to come to class and pay attention though, because the explanations and tricks she uses are better than the book's.

If you ever have the opportunity to take a class instructed by Ms. Eagle, do so immediately! She is amazing and extremely helpful. She's always available to answer questions and provides many ways to succeed in Calculus. The only downside is that she won't be teaching my higher level Calculus classes!

When I took this class it was part online and part in-class. As long as you made good grades on the assignments and tests she said you didn't have to attend class until the final exam. I'm terrible at math and I made an A! Highly recommend.

The class is all online and meets one day a week, in which all you do is take your laptop and work. Work ahead and she will excuse you from class the whole semester! Great professor and I usually have big trouble with math, but she made it clear for me! The tests were not hard if you actually studied. Hw every night, but it was not a lot and it had a tutor with it. She just really made math easier for people that struggled with it. Wish I would of had her for Math 1101, but it was still great to have her once.

If you struggle with math professor Eagle is perfect for you! If you don't have problems with math I would not recommend taking her. I don't struggle in math and I found this class to be boring, tedious, and a waste of my time.

Prof. Eagle is a good professor. Attendance wasn't mandatory as long as you did your homework prior to the classes. If you struggle with math she's pretty helpful, if not the class is boring. 3 tests, online homework & she gives extra credit for points on the final. She also goes over whats on the tests. No text book needed, only hawkes software.

My first impression of Mrs. Eagle is that she is very kind and easy to approach. Complete weekly assignments to receive credit. If you're a week ahead, you're granted privilege to skip class. Online tests are taken at your leisure and which also means you can finish the class ahead of time and get it over with. Notebook is needed.

I am not good at math and I got a 96 in her class. She makes her expectations clear and gives you extra credit opportunities. Her test are similar to the practice tests, if you do them you're sure to make a good grade.

If you struggle with math take Eagle. This was my 3rd time taking college algebra. Got a D both times but with Eagle I received a B. I would not have passed without her and I am eternally grateful. She teaches you like you are in 6th grade and I loved it.

Took her for Calc 1 over the summer and got an A where I'd failed twice before. She explains the coursework super well and balances lectures with examples. Paper homework was optional and webwork was only assignments that we needed to know. She worked out problems if you emailed her and there were no surprises on the tests. Would take her again.

Im usually struggling to make C's in math classes but thanks to her I made an A in this class. She reallllyyyy tries to do everything she can to help your grade. She also makes her self available whenever and loves when you ask questions. She is also pretty funny too. Her tests come straight off from the practice webtests, just numbers changed

Very nice person as a whole. She made pre-calc easier to understand than when I had taken it in 11th grade. If you ever need help with anything, she will definitely be there for you. I didn't talk to her much, but when I did, I was surprised she even knew my name out of nearly 30 students. She can also be lowkey hilarious at times.

This professor is absolutely amazing. I have always struggled with math and had to drop my 1100 class last semester because I couldn't understand the concepts. I took it with Mrs. Eagle this semester and got an A!! She teaches thoroughly, is very easy to understand, and respects her students. Do the homework, take her webtests and you'll do great!

What a sweet woman! I took her for summer Calc 1 and she made 7 hours/week of class really enjoyable. Webwork is super annoying, but she makes herself really available for help by posting her cell number and quickly replying to emails. Take it during the summer, you'll take HER final exam, not the common final you'd get during fall/spring

Professor Eagle is an exceptional professor who goes out of her way to help with questions in and outside of class. She is great at lecturing, explains topics thoroughly, and gives complete answers to student questions. She also lets you know exactly what to expect for her tests. Her personality is great and she loves to make students laugh.

Prof Eagle is awesome, I would totally take her again as she's easy going and offers extra credit. Attendance is mandatory, but it's a mathematics class, so you kinda have to attend to understand the problems. I cannot wait for her to release her book "Southern Calculus."

I took her class over the summer and as long as you know your math fundamentals and do your homework, you should be able to pass easily. Tests are most similar to homework questions so it's important for you actually do them. She replaces the lowest test grade with the final exam grade (if it's better). Be prepared to spend a lot of time studying.

This is basically a teach it yourself class. Its super easy to do the three lessons during the week. If you finish early and show your notes to Liz she lets you skip class. I just finished this course and only attended class the first day.. the tests are all online and you get 4 attempts taking the highest grade. Definitely would take this

3 exams similar to the one on the test review. If you ask her anything, she would reply. has an extra credit at the end of the semester, solve an old exam. She helps her students so much.

Professor Eagle is thus far my favorite math teacher at UNCC. She does her absolute best to help everyone as long as you ask her. Make sure you do your due diligence, though. If she sees you tried before you went to her, she'll usually help you significantly.

That last comment...I definitely disagree. Ms. Eagle is a extremely nice professor. The thing is that most people are LAZY and won't do their work. I'm currently taking her. She gives plenty of time for you to finish your assignments (3 hw's due every Sunday) and a total of 7 webtests with 5 attempts each. Stop being lazy people! You're in COLLEGE

I had her for pre-calc fall 2017. She will literally do anything to give you a good grade. I'm talking about matching your lowest test grade with your final. I'm talking dropping your lowest four HW's. She had a test just on exponents and logs. Super easy A. Decent amount of homework, but come on, its math.

I loved professor Eagle. She is such a sweet lady and she cares about your grade for sure! If you email her she will reply within a couple of hours usually. I highly recommend her for any math class you will take at this university.

Ms. Eagle wants you to pass and is very specific of what she wants you to learn in calculus. She gives you so many resources to work with. If you get lower than a B in this class then you didn't take advantage of her resources. The textbook is not needed because she post the problems from the textbook online. I really wish she taught calculus II

BEST PROFESSOR AT UNCC!! She breaks down materials so they are easy to understand. She is also very accessible.

If you take calculus in the summer always opt for Ms. eagle. The tests are similar to the homework that are in the textbook so make sure you look at them while studying for a test. Some of the graded homework was hard but Ms. eagle will take the time out DURING class to work some of the the questions. You will have lots of resources to work with!!!
