She took over for Sokolov during the second half of the semester. She completely changed the way he ran the class. She didn't discuss the new expectations or what material she would be putting on exams. None of the TAs and SI leaders knew what to expect either. She's very serious and unapproachable, and doesn't answer questions about exam content.

The exams are tough only if you don't read the book and break down the choices. Lectures are long but she covers everything that we need to know and what is on the exam. She doesn't give answers outright, but does give us hints so we can figure it out on our own. She responds to questions on the online discussion board.

Clickers are pretty basic questions that don't really match up with the difficulty level of her exams. Her exams are like hard because the questions can be specific and vague. You can't study from old exams or study question like Sokolove's test. She's very serious about exams and does not directly answer questions during lectures.

Lectures were uninteresting to me, and ultimately did not reflect the content on the exam she wrote - even the study questions did not help me. You have to *really* understand the concepts beyond the study questions. The whole class was a self teaching experience for me. Very professional though, and answered emails quickly.

She taught 303 this summer and it was better than the spring class with Witworth. We were in teams and could be called on at any time to answer questions, as a team or individually. We also did a lot of in-class assignments, which was kind of annoying, mainly because we did no have a lot of time to do them, but they also helped learn the material.

Walking textbook. If it weren't for the clicker questions, I wouldn't go. Her lectures are a boring assortment of text taken literally out of the book and she reads right off of her slides. I don't understand why Feeser gets a bad wrap. She's an amazing and proficient lecturer who is super clear on what she wants you to know for exams. Just GO TO CLASS, take notes, and listen to the lectures again prior to the exam/ do the practice exam and you should have no problem getting an A. Had her for both 141 and 303 and got A's in both.

I have never been so bored in a science class. I cannot say I have ever actually spoken to the professor. The lecture is just a repetition of the textbook, and I found myself skipping the lecture often because of this. (4/4) (Continuing criticism of homework) It makes the user afraid to make mistakes, thereby encouraging the student to google every single question so that they can preserve their grade as best they can, but without learning anything. - The discussion sessions are decent, as those are led by the TAs, who are at least somewhat competent.

(3/4) (continuing the criticism of the homework) With each wrong *attempt,* you lose ~33% or 1/3 of the credit you would get for getting the question correct. This is extremely bogus because this is supposed to be HOMEWORK AND NOT A TEST. The resulting googling of the questions halts the student's learning, and turns exams into mental bloodbaths.
