Very unorganized. Does not follow a structured lesson plan and often veers off subject. Very friendly and helpful if you need to make up tests. Grades on a curve.
Very unorganized teacher. Very absent-minded and sometimes gives you the wrong piece of information. Never take this class as a second nine-week.
Bestsy was disorganized, rude, disinterested and lacking in the appropriate knowledge to teach the class. She was nice about letting people resit tests. She should not be teaching such young people as her attitude is very negative.
this professer changed my life. i found her class to be incredibly interesting. she was super fair about tests and curves. i had her that first semester she tested at ARC, too.
Very great teacher, a little unorganized, but funny and very smart.
One of the GREATEST teachers I have ever had. She made class so fascinating, always adding the most interesting and random facts about the body. She wanted everyone to be successful; she also found a way to answer everyone’s question, even if she had to research it. To succeed in this class you do have to go every day.
I loved talking her class. She is funny and a good teacher. She makes it fun to learn.
Great instructor. Very clear, quite knowledgeable (only a few things I noticed incorrect, though I'm still learning the field). Class is *very* challenging. I can't compare it to other instructors teaching it but she gives a quiz almost every day, and lots of work.
One of the BEST instructors. Intelligent and funny. The course is very challenging and she will demand considerable amounts of work, but u will know the required material. Recommend this teacher if at possible in ur schedule.
Most disorgnazed teacher. No fix calendar. 75% of the student dropped. Power point lecture exceeded the limit in Blackboard. Info. overload because she uses Martini & Marieb text. Uses other teacher's histology and never review accurateness. Req. Krieger, didn't realize answer key is there. Covered 2/3 chap. a day, jump back & forth, not focus
Loved taking the class, but had to drop because had too many other classes at same time. A lot of information to remember, but all needed resources are there. Very entertaining and informative teacher. Hope to be in her class next semester when I can solely focus on it. Would highly recommend this teacher if you actually want to LEARN your info.
She is a great teacher. Very funny. I loved her class, if it wasn't with her it would be a pain to take it during summer. Her class is hard, not because of her, but because of the material, but she grades on a curve, so it is very fair. She is a little disorganized, but she wants people to succed, she is nice and fair but you really got to study.
Very hard and disorganized teacher. I undrestand that it's a hard class but she makes it even harder with her unorganized lactures. She is a good person but she doesn't have a good teaching style. I don't recommend her.
A bit disorganized but seems to know her stuff. The class is supposed to be geared towards pre-nursing/healthcare students but she does not come from a healthcare background. That's not her fault, but the class could be improved with more clinical application than rote memorization.
She is a very nice teacher, But this is the hardest class i've ever had. She's very interesting and funny and the time passes by quick. she is a bit unorganized, but she didnt know the new books yet. Her tests are very long! (150 Q's) and there are 5. quizzes almost every class.
Excellent lecturer. Very responsive to questions, student requests, feedback. Yes, she's all over the place sometimes, but that's part of the fun. When it comes down to the test, her questions are fair and relevant. She is engaging, fun, challenging, dynamic-- the 4 hour classes literally flew by at times.
Betsy was the worst teacher I have ever had. She was a very nice person, but her teaching style was disorganized. She had poor time management skills and never left time for lab. She did not grade labs fairly (graded only random answers). She constantly made refrences to knowledge needed in a "clinical setting," but she has no experience.
Worst teacher i ever had. Extremely unorganized. Doesn't stick to syllabus point value and makes it up as she goes along.
good person but unorganized. you have to study 24/7 to get at least a C in her class. not an easy teacher. very hard to figure out her teaching style. any chance she gets she'll take points off. even if you survive in her class there is no way that you'll still be a normal person. you become mentalyy ill in her class.out of 36 10 people left in cla
She is a good teacher. She does give quizzes almost every class but it helps keep you up on the material. She makes it interesting and she does grade on a curve. It is a hard class but this is A&P, it will be hard no matter what teacher you have. I really like Betsy and I strongly recommend her.
the best professor i've ever had. excellent lecturer, hillarious. never a dull moment. extremely helpful and personable. VERY smart. there are no surprises...as long as you stick to the "pink sheet", you'll be fine. very dedicated to the students. she will go over and beyond to help you succeed. i can't say enough about this teacher...she changed m
Very fun teacher, tried to make it interesting, very knowledgable. REally went out of her way to answer questions and be accessable. A little disorganized, but truly wants students to succeed. Stick to the pink sheet and study a lot!
garfield is a lot of fun but you have to work really hard to get a good grade. study what is on the study guide and you will only become slightly mentally ill:)tests are normally 100-150 questions multi choice and choose from big list. quizzes every day dont miss class or you will et lost always responds to email
Had Betsy as teacher but unfortunately had to drop class. Whenever new semester starts, her class books up fast-must say a lot about her teaching. Extremely knowledgeable about this subject, but getting a good grade takes A LOT of effort. If you don't have that to give, don't bother yourself or her by taking. If you REALLY want to LEARN, take it!!!
Betsy is extremely helpful and enthusiastic about every topic. Her lectures are great and she doesn't expect you to know anything that wasn't in her lecture. You HAVE TO STUDY though and attend class every day as there are quizzes every class session. You don't really need to read the book, all you need is the pink sheet and the lec. notes
The impression this instructor left me with is that she is the ONLY person who understands Anatomy and Physicology. A teacher who wants to show you how much she knows and how much YOU don't know. She bad mouths administration to the class. She doesn't like to teach summer school and promotes students to drop her class. Yells at students in class.
If you want to LEARN anatomy, take Betsy. If you want an easy A, stay away! When I took 431 I could tell which students had a teacher that gave easy A's and which students had a teacher like Betsy where you actually learn in her class.Betsy expects you to act like a college student, this isn't high school. No spoon feeding!Adults only. Stop whining!
Disrespectful. Arrogant. Do not take this teacher unless you want to waste your time. Class drop of 50 -75 percent. Not something to brag about as a teacher.
You can't expect to take 430 and be handed an A. You have to WORK for your grade, and Betsy provides all the means necessary to get you there. A fair amount of work is required outside of class to pass. Betsy's VERY enjoyable, I highly recommend her and her semi-psychotic tendencies to other students. She's understanding and really cares about you.
How about leaving the 'semi' off psychotic. Please. . . brain-washing students that she is the only person who can teach A&P is really inappropriate. None of the A&P instructors at AMR give you an 'A' without working for it. Keep in mind that AMR admin won't let her teach A&P II (she shared this) - must be a reason - huh?
I took A&P during the summer- I'd say don't do it if you need to work; it's just too much. It's a very hard class, but Prof. Garfield is a wonderful teacher. She gives very clear lectures and cares about her students- she bent over backwards for us. She just needs to be more careful with professionalism- but if you want to learn, take her class.
she is going to be teaching bio 431 in the spring of 08. i am definitely going to avoid this teacher. there are plenty of other teachers on this campus who are not going to add more drama to an already difficult time with A&P
Here's the deal- she's teaching one of the toughest classes out there. There are no easy A&P classes around! Yes, she is tough and has high expectations for her students. But if you put forth an honest effort and give the material the time and attention you should outside of class, she will be your biggest cheerleader.
I think Betsey is putting a majority of the defending positive comments - sad. Students beware.
I waited 3 semesters to get in Bio and had to dropp because of her. I am a straight A student so I don't think I was not able to do well. She would blush when we asked questions that she didn't know the answer to. If you don't want to waist your time, find another teacher. She has no family or life and she obvioulsy won't care if you do.
All I can say it that if you're taking this class in the summer, you're INSANE. This is a very hard class, so if you can, take it during a full semester. However, I don't see why Betsy has all these negative comments. She is very helpful and tries to make sure you understand the material. This class isn't an easy A, you have to work hard for it.
Most disorganized, ill-prepared teacher I have ever had. Teaches internet hoaxes as facts, makes several errors on each test (which other students point out!) and missed 5 classes in a row. Has no clinical experience, so her "labs" are a joke. If you are serious about your degree, this is NOT the person to study A & P with!
I am not an A student but was able to get an A in Bio 430 and 431. This class has a lot of homework but if you do it you will do great on the tests and great in the class. Betsy can be erratic in her teaching style but I think that keeps her class interesting. She cares more than any teacher I have ever met and if you let her she will help you pass
Garfield will tell you to read each chapter 3 times & she means it. She does not seem to know the subject well enough to instruct a class properly. She gives so much homework that it is hard to find time to read the chapter once. Her exams are very difficult. I am used to getting A's & B's & had to drop. She has a terrible attitude too.
BIOL 431 Where to begin?? Betsy is a nut-job! Had to drop this class within the first 2 months.. she seems to make things SOO much harder than they have to be. My worst experience since being in college and this should have been my last semester. Betsy thinks she is the A&P god.. she's NOT!!
This person has no life and thinks that her students should not eithr. Yes Bio o shard and yes you need to be prepared but she is just making her tests so hard and tricky and is not even the smartes A&P teacher. Do not waste your time unless you have no family or job!
I really liked Betsy's teaching style. She encourages classroom participation throughout lecture and lab. Very enthusiastic about the subject matter, which is refreshing. Very knowledgeable and answered questions any time there were any. A&P is hard if you're really learning it.
BEST TEACHER I EVER HAD SO FAR.EXAMS ARE CHALLENGING BUT NOT SO HARD.SHE WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU LEARN BY MAKING THINGS SIMPLER AND EXPLAINING IT THOROUGHLY.SHE SHOWS THAT SHE CARES FOR HER STUDENT.I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT TAKING 431 WITH HER CUZ OF ALL D NEGATIVE STUFF THAT I'VE HEARD AND READ BUT BASED ON MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE?THEY WERE ALL WRONG!!
Stay away from this professor! She takes pleasure in failing students. She refuses to answer questions, and is putting the majority of the positive comment on this site. Every negative review that has been posted has been flagged by her. I am an A student and had to drop her course. She is makes the subject 1000x harder than it needs to be. Beware!
Not Recommend this "teacher"
this teacher is great if you are there to learn and maintain the knowledge.she cares for her students to do well.
Dr Garfield is amazing, it took me a week to get used to her teaching style, but by the the end of the class I was her biggest fan! Took 430 over the summer, pretty challenging (an exam per week!!!) but Dr G did a great job of teaching the material very well in a short time span. Wish I could have taken her for 431 too!!
I was scared to take her after reading all these horrible comments, but they are so wrong!! If she doesnt lecture on it then its not on the test, plus she gives a study guide. test questions are very basic, maybe 1 or 2 tricky ones per test. Just study and do the homework, you will get an A. I did it as a single parent of a 1 year old.
Took during summer and didn't have time to read each chapter all the way through, used book to reiterate power points (very helpful to print these for lecture), used study guide and attended ALL classes, lecture is VERY important (& funny). Very fair grader, will throw out questions on exams if misunderstood, and has 93% curve. I enjoyed her class.
Took over the summer and I'm glad I did. Didn't buy the textbook or use one. Just print off her lectures from D2L, bring to lecture, study her study guide and you'll do fine. It takes a little to get use to her teaching style. Got a B, worked full time and have a 2 yr old. Don't get me wrong you have to study but she's not as hard as people say.
This teacher really sucks! She doesn't understand the material well enough to teach it and she is really disorganized. I hated her! I love Biology but she made me dread coming to class.
The class seems intimidating while taking it, but it shouldn't be, because the only things on the test are in her lecture. He lectures can be confusing, I would use a third source to put it all in perspective( interactive physiology or text. Just read over your notes once a day and write put the harder concepts your having trouble with=a
This class requires alot of time and effort but Prof.Garfield is a great professor. She posts all her lecture notes, study slides and study guides on D2L. As long as you come to class, pay attention and put in the necessary effort you'll be fine.
Betsy is a wonderful teacher. Lectures purely on PPT and expect you to come to class prepared. Read her lecture slides and ask questions! Study Objectives are your bible. Review, review, review and you will do well in the class. Comes up with fun examples to learn the material. She expects you to know your material but curves at 93%.
I wouldnt give her a 4 for easiness, but her study guides are clear and her ppt as well. Bio is not an easy A but if u work for it-u will get it.If u can answer all questions on study guide-u will do good in her class! This class requires LOTS of studying. Use her emails- because her emails are very helpful-she truly wants her students to succeed!
I could not lear anything from this professor. She is very disorganized, shes all over the place, hard to follow, dose not explain, reads off her power point. Forget about asking questions; she will brush you off and tell you to go talk to your team mates. Coming to class is waste of time.. But if u follow the study guide u should be fine. Good luck ;)
Basically the worst teacher I've ever had. Avoid at all costs.
I took her for both 430 and 431 and enjoyed her and her class a lot! Print out powerpoint lectures and as long as you pay attention and use the study guides which she provides for every exam you should d fine. I was taking a full load of classes while working two jobs and still got an A. She's very accommodating and a great professor!
Honestly, she gives her 100% effort to help out students. But if you are one of those students who contradict the professor or stop her lecture every 2 minutes to ask a question then obviously she's not going to appreciate it. Who would? Not me! Not an easy A at all, but you will learn A LOT with her. Be ready to study like crazy with her.
She is nice, helpful, cares about her students succeeding, Knows her stuff, gives very detailed study guide, if you can do the study guide you can definitely get an A on the exams, she also curves exams which helps a lot! The homework helps you prepare for the exams too. The subject matter is not easy but she gives you what you need to succeed.
Her class is not easy whatsoever. To get an A in her class you really have to study every little itty bitty detail from the textbook. Just studying her notes won't cut it. She has a study guide but it's not very helpful because it covers everything you need to know from the book. Study 12 hours a day and you can get a A or a B at least.
I didn't get into her class, was number 14 on waiting list and didn't make the cut, but I will say this: I hate it when a professor does not go through the syllabus with the class. She just jumped right in to lecture, didn't talk about the structure of the class or grading at all. And this is A&P, might be nice to know what to expect.
If you want to get into a nursing program DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF. Granted this subject is challenging But Prof G tricks you on all comprehension exams, grades on spelling, doesn't give quizzes, Study guides not worth using, memorize the whole text book & lab for every exam less then 1/2 got A only cuz they repeated the course.Took Won 431 THE BEST
If you want to get into a nursing prog. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF. Granted A&P 430 in challenging but Prof G tricks you on ALL Comprehension Exams, grades on spelling, no quizzes, study guides not worth using just memorize the text book, record her lecture on ipad less than 1/2 got A's because they repeated the course.Took Won 431 THE BEST
Very difficult to learn from because her notes don't follow a waterfall pattern and her study guides are jumbled, and mixed words from the text an on her tests which makes it even harder. PowerPoint is her bread and butter but she just reads from it, which we can do. My guess is Professor G is over stretched b/c she's highly unorganized.
Took Bio431 in the summer '13. Taking a summer A&P class is crazy, but I pulled it off with an A. Gives study guides, some quizzes, tests aren't too hard. She lectures purely off PwrPnt, so make sure you READ THE TEXT. She wont hand out answers but will tell you where to look. DONT WEAR PERFUME IN HER CLASS! Can seem mean, but shes actually cool.
She is extremely difficult, I understand that this class requires lots of studying, reading, ect.. But she makes it impossible. Her exams are very difficult, and she zooms through her power points, if you ask questions she will make you feel dumb. I do not recommend this teacher if you want to get an a or b
ummm where do i start? Highly unorganized, expects you to know material BEFORE it has been presented. She makes you feel really dumb, and if you dont study/learn things for yourself, you definitely wont pass. Tries to trick you on her quizzes and test. She really tries to challenge you but in the end, everyone is confused. AVOID IF YOU CAN!
This is a hard class, and garfield doesn't make it any easier. If you study hard and read the book you will pass but DO NOT rely on her lectures. She gives very very lengthy study guides that help if you spend 6 hours completing them all the way. She gives very hard tests with no keys. She always picks the hardest problems for lab exams.
Her lectures are long, but you learn a lot! It is a lot of material so If you read the chapter before class it will benefit you greatly. She's very funny! All of her tests are based off of her lecture notes which are printed out in packets and given to you! so you know what going to be on the test! But you still need to study! I def recommend!!
There's nothing positive to say about her. She gives pop quizzes 2-3 times every class session, rude and not very helpful, and expects students to get help from each other or from other sources. Do not even bother asking her for help, you will not get very much out of her. Instead, she will make you feel stupid. She's very disorganized and lazy.
There is nothing good to say about her. She is so rude..
A&P is hard and she doesn't make it any easier! Most of the people in my class were repeats so they were already introduced to the material. Lectures are confusing so read the book and take your own notes. She gives out lecture slides & study guides. Lots of pop quizzes & in class participation. She's nice but rude. Avoid her class if you can.
Very rude teacher, she makes you feel dumb if you ask her a question. Avoid her! She is well organized, test come from study guides but assigns a lot of homework and is very particular about how she wants things done. She's a control freak when it comes to labeling.... Do your GPA a favor & don't take her.
Gives a lot of pop quizzes on what we JUST went over which is almost a whole chapter. Studying for the quizzes are like studying for the tests. The tests are very tricky as well. She expects us to know every detail. She is very particular on how she wants the hw and classwork to be done. She provides lecture slides and study guides.
Great teacher. Was scared to take her class after reading the reviews but she is honestly great. Lectures are funny as she understands the class is hard so she tries to lighten the class mood. Get the book and READ! As soon as I started reading the chapters my grades went up significantly. Would definitely take her again.
Lectures were long but she gives breaks. Has all the slides on d2l plus puts up additional sources for you to study off of. Wants you to succeed but you have to put the time and effort into the class. Study the notes she hands out and read the text book.
The best professor that I have ever had!! This is a hard course - lots of reading and studing will be required no matter who the professor is. She tries to make class as fun as possible and is really funny. I wish I could keep her for all my classes. Good luck!
Professor G. is the BEST!!! I have never had another A&P professor who explains things so clearly. She cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed! She is also very funny which makes listening to long lectures fun! I defenitely recommend taking her, but of course like any other science class you have to work hard!
Prof. G is awesome! A&P is a tough class no matter who you take it with and involves a LOT of hard work. That being said, I am so glad I took 430 with Prof. G. She explains concepts really well and will review a topic if people are confused! Great professor and really wants her students to succeed, I would 100% recommend her! Use your pink sheet!
There really is nothing nice to say about her. She isn't helpful and even when you ask for help she somewhat mocks you like you're stupid. Her job is to teach but instead she tells you something and expects you to understand. About the only good thing is that she provides study guides - lengthy but a study guide nonetheless. Just take someone else
After having Prof. G for both 430 and 431 I can honestly say that I HIGHLY recommend taking her. 430 and especially 431 are very intensive classes and require a lot of work. Be diligent about your studying, use your pink study guide and study slides to prepare for tests. Her lecture notes are veryhelpful and overall she is just a great professor!!
Took Professor G for Bio 430 and 431. She is honestly the best teacher for this class. use the pink study guide and don't hesitate to ask questions. She always takes the time to help her students learn. The class is hard but prof. G really tries to make the class as fun as possible. Def would take her again.
Dear future nurses, she is tough but for your own good. She really grills the subject into you so you will not forget it because you'll need this material in the future. She is really funny and really cares for her students! Really good explainer and very well organized! If you really want to learn then defenitly take her!
Terrible at teaching, can't convey an idea. Disorganized lectures, class would be difficult to follow for someone who has already finished a bio major. Lecture intensive even though they're all horrible. Discourages textbook use, however you'll never learn anything unless you do. Rude. An absolutely horrible a person, teacher, and human being.
Hard! The class itself I mean. There is a ton of info you need to memorize and she does not sugar coat it. She will make you frustrated by her constant pestering for you to record her lectures/study the material when you get home even though you just sat through a 4 hour class. DO IT! She seems tough, but is the most caring teacher I have had.
Any A&P class will be tough, but I felt that Professor Garfield definitely taught the material well. She wants her students to pass and does curve exams. I would describe her as a stickler, b/c she wants things a certain way. Although I ended the class with a B+, I was glad I worked hard with her as my teacher. Best 430 teacher I have taken.
Betsy is not student friendly. She doesn't know most of your questions and has to look it up. She does give you pink study guides BUT covers more material than what you are tested on - so if you study from it you'll be well prepared for the test. I studied over 20 hours outside of class. She does NOT make it any easier for her working students.
Garfield is a very tough professor, does not know the answers to questions you may have. She rushes through her lectures, does not offer extra credit. She goes over more material than what you actually get tested on. Tests are VERY hard she gives 11 tests and each one gets harder and harder, you have to study 25/8. I do not recommend her AT ALL.
Stern but you can tell she truly cares about each one of her students. Be ready to work! This class is like taking two classes in one. A lot of tests (no notes), long lectures, and in class activities. Super difficult class but she gives you all the tools you need to succeed (test study guides, lecture notes, recorded audio lectures). Study!
Ive read many of these comments and theyre all true (except for the personal attack on her as a person). It IS lecture heavy, you DO need to read to keep up, her study guides ARE really helpful for the test, she DOES direct you back to your resources and she can be extremely direct. Shes no nonsense because theres no time for nonsense.
You need to be warned about this teacher, it is not worth your time to take her class. You will not get what you need, you will not be treated with respect, and you will likely drop. My advice is to avoid her completely.
This professor gave me major anxiety. She assumes everyone is a cheater, she doesn't assign homework and makes you get in groups and do worksheets almost every class but the worksheets are worth a small amount of points. She is rude and unapproachable. This course is already so hard and she definitely didn't make it any better. Avoid this teacher!
This is the worst class I've taken out of my college AND high school career. There is no teacher in this class... the teacher assistant just posts things you should learn and grades you on the exams(100% proctored). She basically just fails you and blames it on you. Her attempt to teach you are the audio recordings from 1870 and a 70 page slides.
I know the pandemic is making this more difficult for both student and teacher, but Betsy really isnt doing her part as an instructor. Zero effort in teaching. Her PP are from many years ago and the only teaching is listening to her old recorded lectures from 2 years ago. Her test do not match study guide. Shes rude, Just dont take her.
Dear future students. You will learn nothing with this teacher. She doesnt belong to teaching career. All she did i being a cop watching how you take the exam through proctorio without give you a single hour of lectures. Shes rude, and disrespectful. You will suffer more anxiety & nervousness if u take her in the pandemic
I had to drop this class before the 1st proctored test. Professor Garfield's lectures were only audio, and we were supposed to follow along with out notes from files on canvas. It was really confusing and a lot of students, including myself, were complaining that Garfield is a terrible online class professor. Her way of teaching was very strict.
Perhaps this instructor thinks her heart might be in the right place? but no. She was the worst instructor I had. I dropped the class after she sent out the most rude, disrespectful, and condescending email to all students. I am taking the class at a different college. This style "teaching" should not be tolerated. So judgemental! In my opinion.
Already paid for this class, the expensive textbook and lab pass but I HAVE TO DROP this class because she is very UNORGANIZED and not clear with her responses. She doesn't even try to help her students. Her quiz method is immensely invasive. 73 QUESTION QUIZ in 70 minutes the first week. She is not meant to be a teacher, she is mean and disrecpefu
Took this class during the pandemic. She was very rude and never responded to any emails. I had a very high grade in the class however I dropped due to her accusation of me cheating. I was willing to retake the test, but she wouldn't let me. Not willing to work with students.
-passive aggressive when most of the students did not pass a test -tests questions had incorrect answers but she did not release the grades for us to review them -tests are based mostly off the lecture -make sure to keep up with studying!
My college gpa was 3.88 before taking her class! When reaching out to her for clarification, she re-states the question to you and tells you to go review (I did or else I wouldn't be asking). Her Spring 2021 class started with 38 students, and ended with 8. Every student complained about her teaching. A waste of my time and money.
She's funny and she's caring. All the people that said she was terrible probably didn't want to put in the work this class takes. If you are pre nursing this class is for you and will prepare you very well for future classes. Do the study guide and watch her lectures more than once and you'll do just fine. Be prepared to study!
I really liked betsy. the class is supposed to be hard. she can be passive aggressive, but i never took it personally. shes also funny. if you really study off her study guides, listen to lecture more than once, and go to class everyday, you will get a good grade. i personally think the class is set up for success, but that still requires ur time.
The teacher does not give any extra credit, testing is HEAVY and she tests 2 weeks out from the material that was learned. Great personality, but she's really making the class harder than it needs to be.
This class is really hard in general, but she wasn't horrible at teaching. Took 430 in the summer, so it was really fast paced and it was kind of crazy. However, her tests were straight forward and straight from her lectures. Just pay attention and do your work and you'll be okay.
As a nursing student who's already in the nursing program, I can tell you Betsy this is the worst teacher I have ever seen in my nursing journey.Rather than guiding students through complicated concepts, Betsy embarrassed her students for not following her pace, not to mention no extra credit, and no help on top of extra hard exams.Don't take her.
Very condescending individual. Took her class during civil and she said all nurses and doctors don't know “what the heck they're doing “ . Ms. Garfield often put her legs on the desk while chewing/swallowing her food during lectures. Didn't seem to know her materials and always try to deflect students' questions in class.
