Great professor! She is very helpful and cares about her students. Make sure to take notes. There's a few quizzes, 3 speeches, 1 or 2 group activities, no midterm (From what I remember) and she offers 1 extra credit speech at the end. Do it! Helped me a lot. The final is 50 multiple choice questions.

I took this class online, and while I had to go in-person for two presentations, the class was an easy A. Just do the homework and follow instructions for your presentations. You will have to do intensive research for your speeches, so give yourself plenty of time to prepare for them. Also, a powerpoint presentation is needed for your speech, so familiarize yourself with it if you aren't already.

Professor Ginn is incredibly caring. She reached out to me to let me know how much she enjoyed my speech and encouraged me to compete for scholarship money in the spring! You do have to give 2 speeches during the course of the class, and if you're doing it online you may need to film them and upload them to YouTube, so be prepared. Lots of fun!

We could upload a video in front of at least 5 adults or go to the campus. For the campus option, we were given 3 different times to choose from.

I took the Summer I class which was compressed into one month. I too read these comments to try and get an A in a speech class. Professor Ginn is great and even pushed back a deadline when most of the class couldn't meet it. This saved the class a letter grade. Two in-person speeches still. She gives examples of A speeches. Don't say "That's It!"

You can tell she loves to teach, she is hilarious with some of her life stories, and she is so caring that she has a basket full of snacks incase we do not have access to food. Attendance is important; only 4 absences allowed, group work is frequent, & be prepared to present projects to the class.

Professor Ginn was absolutely incredible professor. I took her Interpersonal Communications course (Online), and it was easy (and interesting). So long as you read your assigned text the quizzes are a breeze. Prof. gives amazing feedback and is very understanding (should a situation arise and you are having trouble). this professor is the most caring and supportive professor. she is always very understanding and will work with you on assignments. its also a very fun class. extra credit is given as well so there should be almost no reason you arent passing with an A unless you don't show up or just don't care about education. i would take this class over again!
