Extremely unapproachable. Does not know her material that she is teaching. Cannot admit that she is wrong. Degrading to students in front of class. She implies that you are not smart. Does not exam on material told to review. Tests on uncovered mat.

this prof has a way of making you feel stupid even if she doesn't mean to. she is very scatter-brained and was very unprepared for the subject she was teaching. i do not recommend taking her, EVER!

She didn't know the content of the class enough to answer questions she asked of us. She expects you to work on the problems atleast 12 hours out of your week. HARD

She treats you like kindergardeners and belittles you for asking question. during tests, she forces everyone to take his/her cell phones, turn it off, AND place them on the desk in front of you. If one person makes the slightest sound, she lashes out and says: "That's very disruptive!" and will drag it on, and on. Avoid her!

She often didn't even come to her office hours, though she penalized the students if they did not come see her. Unfair grading on the homework. Very unprepared for class and office hours. The class is actually hard no matter what, but having her trying to teach it is ridiculous. We spent the entire class one time waiting for her to prove something that she couldn't. Her grading is unfair, I proved a theorem for all numbers not including 0, and I got no credit for not including it. Not even partial credit and it was exam!

Professor Goode was by far the worst professor I've ever had. She demanded that you call her Dr. Goode and wouldn't respond otherwhys. She wasn't helpful to the students. She would argue with the students when we asked questions and she would ask why we don't understand the material. Slow at grading homework and then 2 days later you have an exam.

Professor Goode was a horrible teacher! Very rude to students! Not a fair grader. More than half the class dropped. She is not very approachable. I do not recommend her.

Dr. Goode was the worst teacher I've ever had. Really hard to follow, all over the place and gets distracted easily. She snaps at you when you ask questions and is very moody. She spends too much time going over the syllabus and doing one problem with her takes 3 class periods. I felt so lost in this class and would highly advise not taking her.

don't take her class, you have to teach your own self, horrible teacher, gets mad easily, and a little crazy too. write too much stuff, that mean no use in any exam, does example problems after you took the quiz, show in her office and she look at you like, what are you doing here. just don't take this class cuz she getting paid for nothing

I honestly didn't even have the professor for a class but she proctored one of my exams and accused me of cheating when I simply exchanged glances with the person sitting next to me. I feel so bad for you if you have to deal with her for a whole semester.

Dr. Goode is by far the worst professor I have had at Towson University. DO NOT take her. She does not know what she is talking about, as she often had to stop and think about what she was saying and correct herself because she would feed us wrong information. The only reason I passed this class was because I used the web to teach myself.

She learns the material as she goes which causes problems because she does not allow you to look up information online and, well, it is hard to teach a class well if you don't know the material. This becomes a bigger problem when she considers looking information up online or in a book cheating...

Run! E. Goode has to be the worse professor on the planet. Her personality is extremely hard to deal with. She throws temper tantrums like a child. Although I did well in her class I will never torture myself dealing with her again. She is very passive aggressive and unprofessional. Towson Univ you can do better!

Do not take Dr. Goode! She is difficult to work with, assigns loads of homework, and spends lecture talking about how amazing she is at her job, while working a problem wrong for half an hour. Egotistical, cocky, yells at students, etc. Good communication, complimented me on my math skills, but clearly I lack the skills to pass her class.

Professor Goode is NOT someone who should be teaching, especially a freshman class. As someone who is not good at math and never has been, I was relieved to be thinking I was taking the easiest class offered. I took Professor Goode for Math 100. She is rude to her students but acts like she is really nice. She forces students to answer questions aloud, and if they get the answer wrong she gets annoyed and makes fun of them. Although the material was relatively easy, this was the hardest class I had to take because of the constant homework. Awful.

She is the most difficult professor Ive ever had. Not because the topic is hard but because she makes it hard. Its like she expects everyone to cheat from the first day on then projects that on us. Don't call her dr. goode call her ms. goode on accident and watch what happens. She will constantly try to put herself above you. If you try to cheat make sure your good at it. If you try to cheat she will make it her top priority to catch you cheating even if you didn't. Will complain about taking time out of her day to teach yet is her job.

Most unorganized teacher I've had. Late to grading, missed zoom meetings without announcing, did not respond to emails, and didn't thoroughly read emails when there was an issue. I had an problem with a submission of work, she accused me of cheating without reading my full explanation. Didn't even apologize for her mistake. I don't recommend.

she is intense. seems passionate about the subject. not super quick to email response. cut some other students off while they were mid sentence and not super tech savvy . don't think she does it on purpose just kind of spazzy and disorganized. you should be ok if you pay attention and do the work

I usually don't believe these reviews are accurate but they seriously were for this teacher. I would not recommend her class. Tough subject in general and she made it all the more difficult, unorganized and gets easily flustered over the smallest things. Avoid if possible

The only good thing I can say is that she's passionate about math. She is used to teaching higher level classes, so when it's a lower level she makes it more challenging. If you have any questions- don't bother to ask because she doesn't support her students. She started with the semester with "you'll either love me or hate me"- which is true.

If you can take another professor, please do. Dr. Goode has a very unique way she wants everyone to format homework: She wants students to fold their homework in half and draw what she calls a "tableau" on the front. It only takes a few assignments to get used to this, but it is an odd thing to have to get used to.

The professor needs to improve on how to be professional. There were times where she was just completely unprofessional. I couldn't ask questions because if she would be disrespectful if she felt they were self-explanatory questions. She didn't understand every student is the same so by setting these expectations, she was quick to anger.

She is very particular on what she wants and did not leave any wiggle room for anything. She comes off really rude at times, I think she could improve her communication but she has been teaching forever so I don't see her changing her ways. Not a fan of her teaching style. Wish I could say more good things but she just was not for me at all.

During my experience at Towson, I have never encountered a professor as unprofessional and rude as Dr. Goode. She is very micro aggressive and does not care about students well being. Would not recommend taking her at all!!!!

I tried taking this class with an open mind but the reviews here are accurate. She is NOT for the weak. She is very blunt and doesn't seem to be very patient with students. I personally did not like her teaching style. I would recommend taking someone else if possible.

HORRIBLE.. When I say HORRIBLE I mean horrible . She makes you believe she is there for you and she is not . I am currently taking her class and I missed 1-2 assignments, which she told me I should drop for. She's very rude and does not know how to talk to people she uses her words to hurt your feelings and bring you down instead of uplifting you.

She claims that she is always here for her students but throughout my time at Towson she is the WORST and RUDEST professor here. I missed a few homework assignments and she pulled me aside and claimed that I should drop out and that i am gonna fail college and my priorities are all backwards. What professor says this????? I had to drop this class, I really thought I could tough it out but it was too much. The material is already really difficult and I was basically teaching myself. Definitely avoid. She is demeaning when answering questions, after the second exam 1/3 of the class dropped out. She only talks about theory and her exams reflect that, and she doesn't give an explicit study guide like professors do. Exams are worth 60% + a final that is worth 20%. She also likes to give pop quizzes to penalize you if you skipped!

Most unhelpful teacher I've ever had. She doesn't give study guides for tests, nor does she let us use note cards on it. On top of online homework, she gives you "special homework" which is harder and takes longer to do. Don't do anything she sees as suspicious during testing because she will make you uncomfortable, stare at you, or ask questions.

I really struggled throughout this entire class. She is so set on catching someone cheating that she creates all these weird rules for submitting work. She has been the only professor here at TU that I just could not respect or learn much from. I think I managed through the class because of online resources. Not a fan of her style.

The class was extremely awkward throughout the semester. Her responses were typically snarky and not super helpful in my opinion. Sometimes when questions were asked, her response was to just try again or "play with it some more". She said outside resources wouldn't help us, that she was the best source but I just didn't feel like she was at all.

It was a really weird structure and environment. She will appreciate and treat you well if you show up to office hours and ask "good" questions, although sometimes her responses weren't that helpful in my opinion. My advice, show up to her office hours and try to be on her good side. Also, no study guides and the exams are in person.
