She is an awesome professor makes you work for your grade. Tests are hard and there are a lot of terms and material. She misses classes a lot so it is also required we listen to TED talks which are also on the tests. She bounces around in her lectures a lot but gives you all the PowerPoint slides but you must print. Dont take her for an easy A.

Professor Haines is an amazing professor, who is there to help you succeed. This is one class that you cannot miss days on. Extra help is available. As long as you do your work, and take notes during the lectures, you will be fine. Glad I took E1 with her!!

She is a nice person and passionate about her work BUT her lectures are all over the place and have so much info so good luck keeping up. She doesn't give any extra credit or tries to help better your grade. The most stressful psych class i've ever taken and its not even a ucc! The lectures are interesting but she expects so much, tests are HARD.

If I could give her a negative rating I would. The worst professor I ever took at William Paterson. She rambles on in class about nonsense then makes her quizzes and exams so hard. Her PowerPoint and textbook are rarely used. She also talks really fast so if you miss something she said, be prepared to fail the exam. Hated her class.

Dr. Haines taught by far my favorite course I have taken at William Paterson. There was something special about her lectures and her teaching method. She made the topics interesting and taught in a way it was easy to understand. You will have to put in the work, watch the lectures and take notes, but I promise you it's worth it!

Easily THE BEST professor I have had at WPU. She cares about all of her students, and provides an immense amount of information and help. Phones are absolutely not allowed in this class, but times go by so fast because she engages with all her students. She is the best

Lectures are very heavy, tests never make any sense. She thinks everyone is here to get their Ph.D. when that is not true. I asked her for some advice on studying the material, and she sent me an article instead. I find her actually annoying... and talks super fast. Beware of endless amounts of podcasts and TED talks.

Professor Haines truly loves the topics she talks about, and I believe this is why it was so easy to digest the materials she gives. Her lecture materials usually consisted of her own recorded lectures, and sometimes YouTube videos, podcasts, and some text. Her tests at the end of the week were only difficult if you didn't read/watch the materials.

She's very passionate about the subjects she teaches, which is rare to find in wpu professors. Makes lectures go much faster, she makes them engaging and interesting. As long as you pay attention and attend regularly, you'll be good.

Professor Haines is passionate about the subject and engages students. Lectures can be fast-paced, but staying engaged and using tools like unstuck study for study prep can help. Attendance is a must, but the workload is manageable if you put in the effort.

This professor was awful. There was a good 5 to 6 hours of lectures and NPR programs you had to watch and listen to, and all of the test material was based on the lectures and programs. The first weekly test was seventy questions, and it was timed; you had just 80 minutes to complete the test. Plus, you had to use the lockdown browser.
