Speech 103. Very good professor. Very good if you are afraid of taking speech class. You'll need to make 4 speeches. You can use notes and you can do a lot of extra credits. She is very funny and lay back. Can't miss any speech or won't pass the class.

Spêech classes always sounds scary but this professor makes it more of a lax environment. Easy A if you follow the rules and plus she's understanding. Great class.

If you're dreading speech class, Ms. H will definitely change your mind. Almost every class, something random happens... But she just laughs about it or makes some joke and we move on. And stressing out about your speech won't be a problem, either.

Ms Hueneberg is awesome. If you have to take speech take her. Don't take Gary Holton. Mrs Hueneberg makes you feel very comfortable. I've put off this class so many times but with this teacher I had nothing to worry about.

Very fun teacher. She is very helpful and seems to know how to give each student the confidence each needs in public speaking. Speech cant be easy but she makes it as interesting as possible. Watch out though, she watches the class from the camera whenever shes in her office, watch yourself. Theres also a microphone for her watergate skills.

I love this teacher and I love coming to this class. She's very friendly and not intimidating at all. The speeches are up to the point where anyone can make sense of it and with her help, it gave me the proper direction when doing them. Speech should not be life threatening and this teacher does great in making you feel comfortable. Bravo!

I love this teacher, i thought speeches were easy shes very cool...down to each teacher, very open to anything. The onlly hard this is the final which is written you ahve 3 speeches and a written final..you have to stuay for that final since it is worth 1 speech grade.

If you fear speaking in front of people but you have to take this class to get your degree, take Elizabeth. I'm an older student and was petrified to deliver speaches to a group, but she really made it easy. Very understanding and gives you nothing to fear. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Grrrrreat Teacher!! I hated speaking in front of the class, but by the end of the summer, this has got to be my favorite class. This teacher is very NICE! Possibly my favorite teacher ever! She's so much fun! She likes to be funny and "cool". She pretended to be Paris Hilton in one of our group assignments. She also loves her red PT Cruiser that has flames on it! Fund grandma type with a smile. Without her GREAT personality the class would still be pretty easy. With it (as with any class) it's great!

She was so fun. I never had so much fun in a class. She's really easy going and you learn a lot. She is very open what you do your speeches on, as long as they are legitimate. She's just very easy going and encourages creativity. A student recommended her to me and I'm so glad that I listened to him. I highly recommend her.

This was my third time taking a speech class, and man, this was, by far, the BEST teacher for this subject! She's really cool, laid-back, wants you to do very well, flexible, and will do what she can to help you. Only 4 speeches, with one of them being a group speech. I highly recommend her. I took this class in the Summer, only had 3 individual speeches, 2 group speeches, and final exam going off of a very clear study guide: easy A. Unlimited extra credit. She made it fun!

proffesor h aka h-god is by far my favorite teacher at mesa! she was so helpful every step of the way. i think its impossible to fail her class. she gives unlimited extra credit all you need to do is watch speeches and write about them. i highly recommend you take her class if you need a speech credit! your topic is what ever you want

Adorable and very nice teacher. Each speech you give can be about ANYTHING you want it to be about, as long as it fits the criteria: informative speech, persuasive speech, etc. Only needs to be 5 to 10 min each. Super easy. Not a bad speech class if you're shy too, she's nice and can make everyone laugh it off.

"H-Dawg" is an amazing professor. She is supportive of your creative ideas and helps guide you in becoming an effective communicator along the way. Plus, you are given unlimited opportunities to turn in extra credit work! One of my favorite courses so far!

Professor Hueneberg was very nice and helpful. She allows you to choose the topics of your speeches. There was 4 speeches in total 3 individual and one group one. If she wasn't a professor I probably would have never taken speech! I highly recommend her.

Professor H. AKA H Dog was the best COMS professor you could have. She is very good at ensuring you understand all the speeches and lets you have a lot of time to practice each speech. There are 4 speeches and you are required to do them all to pass. They are easy speeches as everyone has to do them and you are respected by the class.

H-Dog is the coolest teacher at Mesa. Class is really easy and is a requirement to transfer to a CSU so nearly everyone should take her class. There is no homework and a TON of extra credit opportunities. The only grades are 3 speeches which aren't too challenging. We were supposed to have a final but she cancelled it.

Professor H loves what she does, and it shows. She is a fantastic instructor who is also #deaffriendly . You will learn a lot about how to be a better speaker in this class. Do the homework, prepare well for your 4 speeches, and participate in class. Your grade will reflect the effort you put into completing all of the assignments.

My class was like one big family and it was always fun to go to class. Keep in mind that you get out of the class what you put in it, so show up and smile.

As a first class of speech, the class was perfect! All the students well feel confortable to talk in front of the class. Hueneberg is easy going but you MUST show up the day of your speeches and respect all the requirements she asked. She is not a tough grader but not even an easy A! Her class is pretty straight forward- 4 speeches total for the semester and one of them is a group speech. There's evaluations you have to fill out after your speeches which was super easy, took like 1 min to do. She's also very nice and gives good feedback. The only annoying thing is buying the workbook but I definitely learned & improved a lot!

This class is easy, you should take it. A total of 3 individual speeches and one group presentation. She allows for unlimited extra-credit, so if you bomb a speech you can easily recover from it. Additionally, THERE IS NO FINAL. At the beginning of the semester she mentions that there's one, but it's really just a ploy to get students to drop.

Hdog is a good professor, she can be a bit sassy, but she just keeps it 100. you have 4 speeches, all worth the same amount of points, and she takes attendance, so you need to show up. there is a group assignment, but its not bad at all. There s UNLIMITED extra credit. Easy A.

Loved this professor! She made communications class really fun. Just keep in mind that if you miss more than three of the classes, she will fail/drop you.

Professor H-Dog is awesome! She's an excellent person, wrote her own class text, and is enjoyable to have as a teacher. Work is show up and pass type work, you truly become a better speaker but I keep getting this vibe that the class was too easy and if you actually are needing public speaking as a major credit, take someone you'll learn more from.

Awesome professor! I don't think you'll meet such an amazing professor like her. She is very dedicated to her job and of course, makes lecture very interesting. Also very easy to pass! She likes to be called H-DOG. I wish she taught other comm classes besides 103..... Take her! :D

Easy A. 4 speeches. Informative (5-7min), persuasive (6-8min), group speech (20 min total, 5 min each), and entertainment (5-7min).

I hate public speaking but this class was amazing and the prof was the best prof I've ever had at mesa. There's 4 speeches (1 is a group one) and a journal due at the end. No final!!! And there's tons of extra credit so if u got a C on ur first speech, you can do tons of extra credit to get it to an A. Extremely easy class, take her!!!

H-Dawg is one of the best professors at Mesa. She 's a stringent grader, but gives you the ability to improve your grade with Extra Credit (no limit to how much you can get). Three individual speeches, a group speech, and no final. Learned a lot in this class.

Liz is such an amazing speech professor she makes you feel welcomed I loved her class and for someone who has social phobia her class wasn't bad. Her class is based on 3 individual speeches typically 5 mins and one group speech. She gives no tests or quizzes and gives lots of extra credit opportunities. There is no final just a potluck! Take her!!!

Prof. H or H-DAWG is super nice, sweet, and caring! She gives everyone respect and wants all her students to pass. There are only 3 speeches and 1 group speech AND SHE ALLOWS YOU TO HAVE A SCRIPT! No textbook required, but you have to purchase her Comm. Journal (she wrote it herself!) There are TONS AND TONS of Extra Credit! No final, only potluck!

Love this Prof! So down to earth & makes everyone feel comfortable with giving speeches. Easy class but you really will learn a lot. Lets you give a speech on anything you want. There are about 4 speeches total and lots of extra credit offered. Cancelled the final.

I can't say enough great things about Prof. H. She is the reason why I am no longer afraid to do speeches. This is coming from a shy girl who saved speech for her last semester haha! If I would've known about how amazing Prof. H. is, wouldn't have waited so long. I was number 6 on waitlist and got in. Tons of people drop first week! SO SO worth it!

Professor Hueneburg is the sweetest and nicest lady you will ever meet. She is a tough grader but there is unlimited extra credit so definitely take advantage of that. There are three speeches, a group project, and a final. No homework whatsoever. Definitely would recommend professor Hueneburg!!!

Follow the syllabus and pay attention to due dates, students now days don't seem as aware and fall short. Elizabeth H. livens up the classroom and always has a smile on her face. One thing you should know, if an emergency occurs on your speech due date and you can't attend class to present, always have proof. (ex. doctors note)

I thought I was comfortable with public speaking, I realized it is a lot harder than it looks when you have to deliver a speech to meet certain criteria and also timed. Prof. Hueneberg motivated us to speak on topics we wanted to, she loves free speech and she gave specific detail on how to better your deliveries! Amazing! Super funny!
