I was scared to take this class because I heard it was difficult but if was very easy. If you go to class and study just a little bit you should make an A or B easily. She gives tons of bonus points and she explains everything well. This class is cake.

Rambles to keep you in class till the bell, but explains in that much detail. Attended class about 8 or 9 times and still made an A. I was making a C in Washeh before dropping it. Great class with bonus points. ONLY one to take for csc 121.

Homework is easy, tests are hard.

She goes over everything in class the exact way the homework is done. Just follow along and remember how to do it and you will be fine. Gives lots of Bonuses!

Her class is pretty easy. You can put forth little effort and make a C, or you can work a little for the A. This class does teach you some interesting things about office programs, so I would recomend it if you will be working in an office environment.

Who ever that ass is that gave this teacher a bad rating needs his/her head examined b/c this is the only easy computer science teacher if you take Dunn prepare to straight fail or come close to it

She's an awesome teacher. She goes over tough topics in class, thus making the chapters very easy to comprehend. She is quite generous with grades (as long as you know what you're doing), and offers the occasional bonus point assignments. All in all, great teacher.

Hutchison was very helpful with everything I asked. The curriculum was easy and so were the tests. She teaches you how to be a good code debugger.

I took her CSC 121 class as a Freshman and it was very structured and she made it interesting and enjoyable. The same holds true for her CSC 340 class. The best computer science instructor by far!

I hate programming but she's so good this class is enjoyable. Go to class, she explains things very well, miss class it's harder unless you already know how to program C++. Uses webct, have to go to lab for quizzes.. very fair teacher.

I think she is a great teacher! she really goes over any questions that u may have. The tests u will have to study for, but it's not even that bad. There are a lot of little computer homework assignments, but they are quick and she gives extra credit. If u are smart, TAKE HER!

Gave very detailed instructions. Projects due at the end of every week. She takes attendece and you have to be there to get the instuctions in class or you won't know how to do them. Test are a little tricky al lyou can really study is the notes, books are not that helpful! Nice lady but i would not take her again.

She is a great teacher! She is not going to give you a grade she wants to see that you are trying. She like to be tricky on her test to so watch out for her. She is very funny in class and easy to listen too. GO TO HER OFFICE she will help you with any problems you may have. I would take her for any CSC class she is an asset to the CS department.

This teacher is one of the best teachers to take. She does give a few difficult assignment but she shows you how to do them exactly before they're due. She enjoys her work and knows it well. I enjoyed the class and I'm very unfamiliar with computer stuff. I enjoyed it and it was very easy.

The only complaint I have for her is that she talks alot! I mean alot. And there is a lot of homework assignments, but they are easy and she explains them in perfect detail. Gives bonus, and doesnt take attendance. But if you miss class you will miss A LOT of info for the homeworks. Test are kind of difficult.. She is not bad though.

Easy class! Lots and lots of quizzes, but they help because they're basically word for word from her tests. She also offers tons of extra credit, so if you miss a homework assignment or two, your grade won't suffer. Extremely peppy for 8 in the morning!

Super great professor! She's very clear in explaining the subject and is always open to answering questions from students. Also, she's great about staying in contact with her students; she uses facebook, D2L email, regular email, skype, etc.

Wants to be helpful in class but usually ends up either rambling or not making things clear. If you ask questions she will re-word it and you can usually pick it up then. Tests were kinda hard but after the first one you know how they are so they get easier. Textbook is a must. And you will need a folder, she has a lot of handouts.

Great instructor. Very helpful when you do not understand. Tries to make it fun so you want to learn and it makes it easier. This is my second class with her. This Online class was surprisingly fun. Professor Hutchison is probably one of the best professors in CSC she should receive an award. She is patient, answers your questions and best of all makes the material fun! Which is hard especially in CSC. She gives a lot of homeworkassignments you "have to be organized" to pass this class!

She is such a great teacher, especially for first semester of my freshman year. Had her for CSC 102 and she made it fun. She is really helpful and makes herself available to students whenever they need it. If I have the opportunity to get her for another class in the future I would not pass it up!

I loved this professor. I would definitely take her again. At the beginning, I knew nothing about programming and now I do! I loved this class and will always try to take her again. She makes you work, but who doesn't! I would recommend to anyone!

She is very knowledgeable about computer science, specifically internet technologies. Very straightforward and easily understandable. Even if you have no prior experience with computer science you will NOT struggle in her class. Would definitely take again,but unfortunately she does not teach any of the classes that I need to take before I graduate
