Mrs. Ininns is an excellent teacher in every respect. She is able to relate to common problems students have with the classes she teaches, which are Human Anatomy (BIO 11) and Microbiology (BIO 12). I learned a great deal in her classes (I took both).

Lots of work in this class (no way around it) but Ms. Ininns is an excellent teacher.

I must agree with the rest. Elizabeth is on top of it. Her level of organization and clarity has made microbiology something to enjoy (it's true... I actually tell people that I love microbiology...). I can't say I've ever had such a capable and helpful professor.

The best teacher i've ever had!! micro is a hard class that demands a lot of study time but Elizabeth made it much more easier for us by explaining each chapter clear enough. Definitely knows the subject matter well and is very organized. Curves exams and is very reasonable in giving grades! i just wish she would teach physio. It make a big help!

Ininns is organized, and she's very understanding. She is such a good lady, and her power points and notes are the key. If you take her early class, don't irritate her and make her mad - just be on time. I also suggest getting into a study group, and don't procrastinate. The unknown rept is hard, just ask tons of questions.

The best professor I have had in 10 years of my education. Both Micro and Anatomy are tough classes no matter who you take it with. However, Ininns kindness and devotion to each and every student is what makes her the best. She has a great personality and had us laughing all semster. A+ perfect 10 teacher right here. Prof. Innins is awesome. She genuinely wants everyone to do well so she often gives hints as to what to study to do well on the test. Her study guides are extremely useful, but cover everything on the test... so, a TON of info. If you know everything on the study guide, you'll do great. Go to open lab, ask questions and she'll be your best friend.

Prof. Ininns is the best teacher I have EVER had. Her class is not easy by any means, but she really wants all of her students to succeed. Twice the work for half the grade! Nothing against her personally but she teaches the class as if we all want to be microbiologist. Extremely detailed about everything, never knew what to expect on the test. From talking with other students take it at OCC or GW if you want to get an A and not spend 6hr/day 7days/week for 16 weeks studying.

BEST prof EVER, she cares about you, academics aside. She is like a Mom who give you clear instructions, tools, guidance for success but doesn't treat you like a kid and boss you around. I rate this class easy A bc if you go to the university no teacher is gonna explain everything in detail and test you only from what is covered in lectures. I got an A+ in this class, but ended up with C+ at university level Bio classes! (same effort)

Her tests are very straight forward. Come to lab often because she doles out random extra credit. She tells you the exact concepts and even some exact questions on the tests. She is very helpful, and she even gives obvious hints as to the types of questions on the exams in lecture if you listen carefully. Do the study guides and you will do well.

Easily one of the best professors at Saddleback College. She tells students EXACTLY what is expected of them, including the information they need to know for exams and quizzes. Nothing is a surprise. I took the hybrid version of this course (lectures are online, lab is in the classroom) and I found this to be a huge advantage. Ininns is incredible.

Very tough class but so worth it. Prof. Ininns is so approachable, kind, & helpful! There are weekly lecture quizzes online, 4 lab quizzes, 3 lecture tests, 1 lab final, 1 lecture final, one research paper for the unknowns, & one individual unknown report. Study hard, go to office hours, & form a study group! Time consuming/hard but I loved micro!

Gret teacher for Anatomy and Microbiology. Her tests are tough but she doesn't trick you. Read the book because that will really help for tests! She'll help you if you ask. The A isn't easy but if you study hard you can do it

Professor Ininns is by far the best bio professor I've had!!! She gives you everything you need to succeed. Watch online lectures on schedule. Study a few hours EVERYDAY and do study guides. I have taken Professor Ininns for Anatomy and Microbiology and have loved both semesters with her! Her lectures are clear and to- the- point and she is easy to talk with if something is unclear. Anatomy is definitely easier than Microbiology but she's a great teacher for both!

I found her to be entertaining, well educated with excellent communication skills. She teaches the material more than once and in different ways for different learning styles. Because we need to hear information more than once to remember it, Professor Ininns understands this concept and embraces it. Acronyms and study guides make good use of time.

Professor Ininns is such a great professor who makes the lab time very interesting and fun. She is very clear about her exams and before every lab practical she would let students set an "example exam" so everyone gets familiar with how the practicals are taken. Her lectures and powerpoints are very helpful and she has a great personality.

I unfortunately was only able to take her hybrid class. Ininns is an amazing person and very well educated but this class was way harder than I anticipated. I've taken physiology and pathophysiology and I found both were easier. This class takes so much time and the material is so boring. She's a great professor but the class basically sucks.

She is very specific on what goes on tests but you really need to work for this class. Do not let yourself fall behind like I did! Its extremly hard but dont skip class if you dont feel like going! Go take them notes. She lectures heavy and it gets boring but it is what it is.

Ininns is delightful. 1. Study guides are provided, don't buy the text. 2. Lab exams are easier than Lecture Exams; study hard for both 3. Missing class lose points, and you feel incredibly lost 4. Some extra credit offered, yay! 5. Online quizzes nearly every week, boo! 6. One paper, ugh! 7. Lab notebook tedious and time consuming

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Get ready to work very hard though if you want to get an A.

Incredible professor I honestly could not say enough! I struggled IMMENSELY with in microbiology, but I would take it again with ininns! She genuinely cares for her students and VERY helpful. Go to her office hours if you are struggling! Also be prepared to WORK HARD in microbiology because it is not easy!

A very respectable Professor that understands how tedious it is to learn microbiology and wants you to succeed. She is really helpful and wants you to succeed. My least favorite thing was the unknown project which really damaged my grade pretty badly. Exams were easy if you studied and she always lets you check what you did wrong on them after.

Highly recommend taking Professor Ininns class! She's an amazing professor and she really wants her students to succeed but as long as you're putting in the effort! Micro isn't easy, study EVERYDAY and don't procrastinate or get behind.

My first time taking micro and I LOVE her. Her online lecture quizzes helps you study for the lecture; an organized notebook will help you with the lab quizzes/lab final. Study hard and do well on lecture/lab exams in the beginning. The lecture final is hard. Ask her questions to do well on the Unknown paper to get a good grade. (worth 100 pts.)

Material is precise and to the point. The majority of the class is lab-related and all material is given on what to study. I had an e-textbook that I did use occasionally, but it is not mandatory to pass. Ininns is incredibly knowledgeable and wonderful at explaining the content. She did a wonderful job with the COVID transition online.

Took this course during the all online COVID fall 2020. It was difficult to learn online, but I got the hang of it. Have to show up to lab lecture. Study study study or else you won't pass. Do her study guides. Lecture videos are very important. Her lab lectures make the class a lot easier. Tough course but definitely doable!

Prof. Ininns was one of the best teachers I have ever had. I have to disagree with the negative review/rant that was written in October by a student. This teacher is far from unfair and is very clear and helpful on what you need to know for test. It seems like one of the other reviewers simply did not put enough time into studying the material.

Not sure what happened with the October class - she's one of, if not THE best professor I've had so far. Subject matter is heavy, difficult, but she's very clear on expectations and what will be on exams. Very helpful, gives lots of hints to remember things. Labs on zoom, lectures on youtube during pandemic. LOTS of info - study a LOT!

I respect her so much for the quality of teaching she gave us. This class was so hard so studying is a must. Weekly quizzes, lecture vids, and labs on zoom during the pandemic. Her lecture and lab tests are fair. People who give her negative reviews just did not spend enough time. No backtracking was painful though due to online class.

This class takes a lot of time and work but getting an A is more than feasible. Professor Ininns really wants you to succeed and makes it known. She's extremely prompt and responds to emails within a day or two. She's also very funny and makes this class fun and exciting. She never makes you feel unintelligent when you don't know something.

I had a full course load with other difficult classes, but she made it so possible to get an A! Lecture online, lab in person. Take good notes, and complete her study guides! All the assignments are necessary and she does not give busy work. She is super friendly, accessible and its clear she has a passion for teaching. Take Professor Ininns!!

Professor Ininns is amazing!! So clear and to the point with her criteria. Wants all of her students to succeed in the course and your future career!! Answers questions very clearly! One group unknown project and one individual unknown project with a powerpoint presentation!

Professor Ininns made microbiology my favorite subject. I had a hard time adjusting, but she was very helpful and very organized. Her labs were always fun and she offers extra credit. Definitely put time and effort into learning her content, and she will help you with anything! I highly recommend her as your choice for BIO15.

I felt this professor was worth a review. She makes things easy to understand. This is not an easy A, but if you put in the time and effort, she sets you up for success. She has great study guides and her videos were easy to follow for lecture (online). Her labs were fun (in person), but you have to participate and keep up with the work.

I loved her style of teaching. She has a depth of experience which make her strategies very effective. Yes! there is a lot to cover so be ready to work but her support and patience helped us in retaining those important topics. I have never enjoyed learning as much as this. Plus she's hilarious and never has offended any of her students.

I took Ininns for Micro and sought her for Anatomy in my track for RN. She's an outstanding professor. Easy to reach, makes material digestible, plenty of extra credit in both courses. A is very much possible if you put in the time required. Time consuming courses. Textbook helps but not required. Necessary info contained in her lectures. High Rec!

She is one of the best biology teachers you will ever have. Her canvas is very organized so you never miss anything. I suggest keeping up with the lecture videos because they tend to get heavy throughout the semester. DO THE STUDY GUIDES. The exams are very similar. she also gives you 3 EC opportunities. She makes labs very fun! great semester!

I took Anatomy with Prof Ininns because of her high ratings on this site, and I am glad I did! This class covered a lot of material and at times felt overwhelming, but her teaching style and patience made all the difference in the world. She cares about her students and gives a lot of encouragement and feedback. Highly recommend!

I studied with her in both microbiology and anatomy classes. Both classes are time-consuming but ALL doable. She is an amazing teacher BUT YOU have to study. You need the make an effort to get an A. I went to her office hour almost every week and she was ALWAYS happy to help.

Professor Ininns made microbiology so interesting and fun. I can tell she loves what she does and wants her students to succeed! All the material is organized and for the unknown project she breaks down what she expects from you. I will say that the class itself is heavy. Forming study groups or simply finding someone to study with will be helpful.

Very kind and approachable, the class itself is VERY Dense and you will have to read the textbook in addition to her lectures to do well. She is always willing to help students and tries to relieve the stress by having very organized lectures and labs. Extra credit opportunities provided. Strict grader for lab notebook.

Awesome professor. By no means is micro easy but she explains everything very well and if you go to her office hours she will explain until you get it. This class is definitely not an easy A or easy B for that matter but she sets you up for success. Her labs are great she explains everything to a T. Wish she taught more science classes.

This class is very difficult and will require you to study daily for the after lab quiz 4 you need to start studying intensely for the lab an lecture final they are both comprehensive finals and have new information on both of them.

Professor Ininns is THE ANATOMY PROFESSOR to TAKE for Anatomy!! She curves Lecture Exams, shes super nice and understanding! She's extremely good at teaching, and nothing on the lab exams are things she hasn't told you will be on the exam! She tells you exactly what will be on the exam! She's also super sweet and caring! I have nothing but Respect

Professor Ininns is strict, set up lab lectures on time, read the material, pay attention to what she's saying, she will give you all the material necessary to be successful in the class and tests. Put in the time, if she tells you focus on something do so. Do not fall behind, follow the course schedule you will do great. Very transparent.

Bio 11 and 15 are tough but Professor Ininns is outstanding and has been my favorite professor at Saddleback. She ensures student success by offering study guides, engaging classes, and genuine care. Achieving an A requires the hours she suggests (multiple hours per day), but it's possible with effort.

Professor Ininns runs a challenging but rewarding class. Her lectures and labs are well-organized, and she genuinely wants students to succeed. Definitely put in the time - using unstuck study and the provided study guides helped me ace the exams.

She's funny and supportive, take her class. She always encourages you to come to her office hours if you have any questions and she answered email in a timely manner. I know one guy who wrote the bad review and that's just because he took this class while having a job within the same time frame. It's not an easy class but she's making it enjoyable.

She is one of the best in her department simply put. I am currently taking her and she helps in any way she can. You have to be ready to work as she makes you earn your grade. She truly wants you to learn and will reciprocate the effort you put in, if you work I'd suggest carefully picking your schedule so you don't have a conflicts of time.
