Ms. Luciano is one of my favorite teachers at BCCC. She is understanding and keeps things interesting. If you have a chance to take one of your classes with her, I recommend you take it.

She is an absolute doll. Very helpful and easy to get to know on a more personal level. Offers lots of help and is very clear on what she expects in class (nothing extensive). I would absolutely recommend taking her class. :)

Liz is such an amazing professor. She was very upfront about what she expected and as long as you followed simple instructions you got an A. She's such a doll. I highly recommend her for Comp110

Prof Luciano is experienced, and has great teaching skills and methods eg peer editing. I had her for Comp 1-Summer Session I.Although there was not much time to learn, she managed to cover several chapters. Her assignments were relevant to the course. She is fun and hot!I can't wait to take her again for Comp 2.Join me!

awsome teacher, very clear in what she wants you to fix with your papers, doesnt leave you in the dark like most teachers, if your really worried about 110 take her shes VERY GOOD!

i loved her because before you hand in the final copy of papers, she grades you rough draft and tells you exactly what you need to get an A

Best teacher I ever had. Very knowledgeable she makes her class very interesting. You have to work but she is so helpful and guides you every step of the way. Will help whenever needed. Sets some high expectations, but helps you meet those expectations, very easily. I have learned SO much from her. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!!

It will be a good move to have Ms Luciano for comp 107. I took her class in the summer and even though it was a short semester, the way she taught and how she offered her insights on the course helped me a great deal with the transition to Comp 110 with ease. She's very accomodating and doesn't look down on a student's challenges at all.

Fairly easy grader. Allows you to turn in a rough draft so that she can go over it before you turn in your final draft which is rather helpful.

Ms. Luciano seemed rather...stuck up...in the beginning as i have had her class over the semester though i find her to be extremely willing to help and very understanding. Rough drafts of all the papers make her class very easy to pass if you meet her deadlines. Would definitely recommend

I also dreaded taking this class. However, Prof. Luciano is an excellent teacher. She is very very clear on what she expects. She is just overall a nice person. Professor Luciano is the BEST, hands down!!!! She is very clear in what she expects. I don't understand the prior comments. I had her for COMP110 and COMP111, and she was extremely fair. too all her students. However, she is no dummy and does not put up with BS, so if your looking for an easy A, and not willing to do the work, then move on.

Again, Professor Luciano is the best! She uses CE6 and responds to ALL emails and tries her best to accommodate students, within reason. She gives excellent feedback on all your papers so that you're not left in the dark, like some professors. I am an older student and didn't find that she picked favorites. Work hard and you'll be just fine.

Professor Luciano really cared about the progress of her students, and greatly assisted with any issues the students may have had. It was an online course, and she was very accommodating, and understanding of every student.I would sign up for her next class in a heart beat. I was extremely pleased with her, as a professor.

Prof. Luciano is the best professor over at BCCC! She loves what she does, and she is extremely helpful! I am taking her World Literature class in the Fall, and wish I could take her Creative Writing class. The prior negative comments are ridiculous. Probably some community college students who lack ambition and just try to get by.

If your serious about your education you'll do fine. I hate writing with a passion but I got an "A" because I took her class seriously. Only 4 papers throughout the entire class. Research paper can seem overwhelming at first but if you meet her deadlines and give effort in your assignments there shouldn't be any reason you can't pass with a B

Prof Luciano is a great teacher. She makes the class fun with her open discussions. Basically, if you show up to class, participate in the discussions, do the assigned work, then you'll cruise by with at least a B.

Mrs. Luciano is a very polite and understanding teacher as long as you do what your supposed to. For example attend class and turn in all work completed on time. Some of the literature seems feminist but overall she is not. Good teacher and would highly recommend.

Attending class is mandatory!! Her reading assignments that come with a worksheet filled with questions are pointless, we go over it in class but dont have to turn the worksheet in. If you fall asleep in class she will wake you up by calling her name. It is obvious that she takes her class seriously! Must be serious to pass

Only take this teacher if you have nothing else going on in your life. She makes it seem like her class is more important than anything else

Wonderful professor. She is extremely accommodating and understanding, provided you turn your work in on time and put in a genuine effort. Her class motivated me to start writing again, and her encouragement and support were invaluable. If you are a competent adult and do what you are supposed to do for the class, you will get an A.

This is one the the best Comp. teachers I've had at Bucks! That's saying a lot, I've had to retake comp classes a lot! If you do your papers and show up to class she is very helpful to students. And she is very understanding too!

Do not take this professor if you're going to screw around. You learn a lot from this woman, though. As long as you do all the readings assigned, the very few written homework assignments, your essays and work on your research project, you'll be fine! She's a bit of a tough cookie but she's sweet and willing to help! I like her a lot

I had Luciano for COMP111, and I absolutely loved her class. She's engaging and interested, and she expects you to work hard, which is quite a foreign concept to a lot of the students here at Bucks. Go to class. Read everything. You'll learn a lot.

Professor Luciano is very clear about what her expectations are. At first I hated the idea of submitting a rough draft, but Prof. Luciano's feedback is SUPER helpful and helped me to craft my essays much better. I wish I could take her again, I would in a heartbeat. Expect to work, but also expect a fair grader and excellent guidance.

The class was overall pretty easy. She doesn't like slackers, though. Some people told me they didn't like her because they found her tough, but she TRULY wants you to do well. She loves people that participate and do their work. When my gmom passed she allowed me an extension and checked up on me. Very nice lady and truly cares!!!

I have had Professor Luciano for 3 semesters of comp classes and I love her. She gives great feedback on her papers. There's usually around 7 quizs you take through canvas on the readings, but they're easy if you read and only between 5-10 questions. She spaces assignments out well so it's not a lot at once. I received A's the last two semesters

If you you are looking for a professor who is knowledgeable and want to really learn or improve your writing skills , then this is the right professor for you. Great feedback on papers and amazing course material. Very understanding and will work with you or try to help.

She is OK but Come to class and pass the easy thing like quizzes but some quizzes are hard the essay she does help you with your paper but she does not give a lot of time to do them she give you two week to do a 3 page paper. The reason why people does not pass her class are they do not do the easy thing to pass she will help in your work

She created a great environment for peer review and personal growth, despite the restrictions of a creative writing course in the online format. She went out of her way to make things accessible, was extremely helpful in resolving issues with other students, and even suggested another teacher to study with to foster my writing! She is wonderful!

Professor Luciano is a kind, thoughtful, motivated teacher who sincerely wants her students to succeed. She fosters a great classroom culture and is very encouraging in her feedback on assignments. She grades papers fairly, and the two in-class papers a bit more leniently. All papers are based on readings from the textbook, which you need.

Professor Luciano is pretty chill. She lets us out early every day and she cancels class constantly.

Professor Luciano's class often gets cancelled or she will do meetings instead of class. The entire class was simply 7 essays (5 at home 2 in class) and 4 homework assignments. This class is not hard but not easy do the work and you will get the corresponding grade.

While Professor Luciano is a tough grader, she will take time out of her day to try and help you. You need to actually try to pass this class. The readings aren't the most interesting (she has a food topic) but if you do your research and try you will do very well.

I was still working out a couple quirks in my writing at this point in college. Professor Luciano was very helpful in getting to where I wanted to be. Her feedback helped highlight where I needed to improve. Her class was definitely challenging but she made herself available for feedback and my writing skills have improved greatly since this course

An absolutely amazing professor! She doesnt give out hundreds, but honestly no one is perfect - everyone makes mistakes. Shes so kind and sweet. Follow her instructions precisely and you will pass and possibly be given another great opportunity. Thats all, shes great as long as you put effort in.

Tough course, but Professor Luciano is helpful if you put in the work. The grading can be strict, but engaging with her feedback and using resources like ChatGPT and unstuck AI for study prep really paid off for me.

Professor Luciano was amazing. Her assignments were very straight forward and grading was fair. As long as you try and follow instruction you'll be fine! Yes, everything is about food but personally I enjoyed it.
