Best math teacher I have ever had! She will go out of her way to help you out!!

she was AMAZING!!! The only time I ever got an A in college math!! Come to think of it, it was probably my only A in math since the 9th grade! VERY clear, VERY nice, not boring or monotone. and she's cute ;)

By far the BEST Math teacher I've had my whole life! I took 161 before and failed EVERY test, but I took her class and have made either an A or a B on all my tests. She's so easy and actually explains things in a way that you can understand. Not a lot of homework and doesn't require you to do it.

The best math professor I haver EVER had! If you're an Elem ed. major take her for 167, 168, and stats...you won't regret it

Took her and got a C. It was not easy for me, but most in my class got As and Bs. I am just not good at math.

She is extremely helpful, makes algebra very easy. Explains step by step. One of the easiest math classes ever. I took algebra 2x before her & withdrew b/c i miserably failed 1st 2 tests. With Mrs. Miller finished the class with a 98% A.

Very easy to talk to, and is willing to help. As a student-athlete she is beyond helpful in letting you make up work and test.

She is an awesome teacher! She explains everything very well, and will work out any problem as many times as you need her to. Her tests are pretty easy--and they are exactly what she goes over in class. I would recommend taking her to anyone that has the opportunity.

Great Teacher!! She made the class fun and took it slow enough for the people who took a little longer to grasp the concept. Tests will have a lot of expliaing on them, at least for the class I took. So, when she teaches pay attention to the examples but also pay attention to why it works that way. Highly recomend!

I love this teacher! This was my second time taking her and would take her again if I had another Math class! She is extremely easy if you pay attention...I made an A and missed 14 days! She does give bonus points for coming to class...! She was great!

Best Math teacher at Southeastern. I wish she would have taught 168 also. The choices for Math 168 is terrible compared to Mrs. Miller's teaching. Math 168 teachers really need to sit through one of Mrs. Miller's class to learn how to teach. Southeastern should really find more Math teachers like Mrs. Miller. TAKE HER! She is awesome. She teaches everything step by step and makes everything easy to understand. Very willing to help. Try not to text or leave class early though, she takes offense to it.

I am not a math person by any stretch of the imagination and wound up dropping Math 161 before because of a bad teacher. Miller goes above and beyond to help make things clear, and she makes the hardest of the course seem relatively easy. I'd recommend taking her. Math 161 is extremely hard if you don't have a good teacher to help, and she is great

TOTALLY not a math person but she makes things simple using real life situations and she likes to use pictures in beginning chapters. Since the textbook is online now she posts ALL the notes on the first day of class to print out and bri to class with the examples she will be using on them with space to fill in with her. Highly recommend!!!

She IS a very good teacher who makes things easy to understand, but having the math online really hurt my experience. You were required 3 math lab hours a week, and she said she'd round up if you were close... but she didn't even if you were at 2 hours and 56 minutes!

She's really a great teacher. Loves to make math relative and interesting. Attendance is optional, but for an A or B i recommend you attend as much as you can. 2 lowest homework and quizzes are dropped. and anything you don't understand, she's very willing to help you on. I loved this teacher.

Mrs. Miller is a great teacher. I took her for 167 and 168 and I loved her. Her tests are a little hard, but she gives you ways to make it up and is very helpful!

If you ever have a chance to take Miller take her!! I wish I had her for every math class! She is extremely helpful and speaks very well. She is organized and moves at a good pace. The class is challenging but she will make sure to give you everything you need to know to pass and get through. TAKE HER!! LOVE HER!

I think she is good teacher and the material is not that hard. The grading is just a little ridiculous. She takes off for crazy things! You do all of this work on math Xl that is absolutely nothing like your tests. It's completely pointless. I did great on math Xl but was barely passing the tests. Why use math Xl to practice!??

She is a really good teacher. Makes the material easy to understand. She does not have sympathy for missed assignments or doing bad on tests. She will simply tell you to try harder. Overall she is great. Ive taken her for 4 semesters.

I really like Ms. Miller. This is the second time I have taken her. She's very clear on what she wants. She does not always answer questions and shows no mercy if you forget to take a quiz or hw. She does let people make up tests. I really like her and she is great at explaining! I definitely recommend her.

I love Mrs. Miller! Math is not my strong suit, but she gave such great notes and test reviews that I was able to earn an A. She's great at explaining material and engaging the class. Most importantly, she gives you strategies for teaching the math as you learn it.

Mrs. Miller was an awesome teacher. I'm waiting a semester just so I can take her for my next math. She explained material very very well! Homework in this class was about 10 to 20 problems for each lesson and they were very easy! The test are just as simple as the notes. She is very helpful and she doesn't go to quick. Go to class, it helps.

I was afraid to take this class, but she made it so easy. She also is very helpful if you have to miss anything and have to make something up. She is the best math teacher I have had in a long time. We took about 3/4 test and 5 group projects. I wish she taught all education maths!

Mrs. Miller was a great math teacher. She posted the notes for us to print out and her tests followed the notes almost exactly. She made the class easy and was always willing to help. Not a very hard class, especially if math is one of your strong subjects. I will be taking her again for MATH 277.

I took her for MATH 177, 287, 367 and i never regret it. She is amazing teacher. She has good lesson plan, grade quickly. All notes are posted on Moodle. Wiling to help if you have any question. Put effort in her class, don't miss any assignment. You will be paid off at the end of the semester.

Easy to learn from. Knows what she is talking about. Has a lot of examples of it is easy to understand. Worse part was buying MathXL that we only used for homework.

Miller is the best math education teacher out there. She explains everything in the simplest way possible & answers all questions you have. It can get a little boring especially for the 8 am classes but all in all a great teacher. Mathxl is a joke but whatever P.S. the test can get a little tricky but study and review & you should be fine

Miller is a good teacher and is always willing to help when she is asked. I would recommend that you never miss class though, because she teaches the material ONCE and never looks back.

This was a good class to take. If you don't go to lectures, it can be kinda hard to keep up. She explains things really well, so as long as you go, you'll be fine. Homework and quizzes online and tests in class that the prof hand grades. She gives partial credit sometimes even if you get the question wrong. Lots of assignments to keep grades up

Professor Miller has been my favorite prof at this uni so far. She explains things in such a great way, it is so easy to understand. Truly cares about your success. Test review before every class. So sweet. I learned so much.

i loved ms. miller. she gave us the exact notes she used in class and we could just print them out. explained all concepts really well and would explain them a million more times if you needed her to. definitely need to study if you want to do good on tests. all homework and tests are online

I love Ms. Miller she is the best math professor to take if your an Education major. She is very helpful. If you are struggling or have a problem, you see her and she will be happy to help. Test can be challenging, so do the homework, quizzes, and projects you will be find. You have to study for her test to pass.

I took Ms. Miller for statistics. She gave out notes that are exactly like the tests. She makes it clear what exactly will be on the test as well. Definitely recommend.

She is sweet and great at teaching. Class is entertaining, my struggle was the material. Lots of fractions, decimal, etc. She is teaching the new way which educators will need in the classroom, not the old fashioned way; learn her way. Homework isnt helpful to prepare for the test, but its an easy grade as are quizzes. Rewrite notes to study. STUDY

Ms. Miller was awesome! She gave us pre-assigned lectures where we filled in the examples she gave us in class and her tests were just like the notes. She was super understanding and I would definitely recommend any Education majors to take her!

By far the best math professor I have taken at Southeastern! Fill out the guided notes and use them to study for the test. There is some homework and quizzes on Pearson she admits are only for grades, they don't help you study at all. Her notes and explanations are easy to follow and the tests are just like the notes. I definitely recommend!

Mrs. Miller is super sweet and kind especially when it comes to being sick. The class itself was not bad, but the Homework is difficult and takes time. She is a good teacher and goes through each lecture, so students understand. The test is similar to the notes, but you do have to study.

I really liked her, and there is a lot of homework but as long as you keep up with it its not bad. only complaint is she is a little bit of a tough grader but thats to be expected.

She is very clear in class and you will make a good grade in her class if you just pay attention in class. Depending on the class, the homework is stupid easy and takes mere minutes to complete. She is a stickler when she grades and you will fail the first few assignments but if you ask her what you did wrong, she gives good feedback.

Her classes are mandatory to attend in order to receive a good grade in her class. She's very helpful and always helps out when someone is having trouble. Her test are easy, but she's nit-picky when it comes to grading them so make sure you show ALL of your work. Her homework will take you like 3 minutes to complete and it's so easy. STUDY for test

Absolutely LOVEDDDD her class. I am not the best at math, but I got A's on every single test and homework. If you want to do well, you have to go to class and use the notes she posts to fill out while she lectures. Her tests are very similar to her notes. She grades fast and gives partial credit. RECOMMEND 100%
