I loved Eli I had her for stats class and she made a hard class easy. She went through everything very well because she wants her students to understand the material. She also made the class fun. Attendence wasn't mandatory but she did want you to come. If you missed a day you had to get the info from someone esle and the handouts too.

Eli is a wonderful teacher, I love her and I love the way she teach and care about her students. She also don't give homework at all, she do give in class quizzes and tests. If you don't like Math take Eli because she will make you love math....trust me!

By far the best teacher I have ever had. She does not have a lot of patience when asked a question (kind of the "you should know this" attitude" but she explained the material so well that you get it the first time around. I would definitely recommend Eli. I have always struggled with math and was shocked that I understood and got an A!

She was a great. She explained the material in a way so that your work wouldn't take forever. Very fast response time to emails and always open for one on one time during office hours. Course was web based although it was teacher taught.

Eli is ONE of the best math teachers you can take. Her lectures are really amazing and clear cut combined with her spunky personality makes the class fun and interesting. She explains problems and works them out, even giving you help guide worksheets to understand the problem. The class is easy ONLY if you do your work, well if you don't, you fail.

She is as brilliant as she is funny. I'm not a fan of this subject, however Eli taught it in such a way that it seemed elementary. ALL CREDIT TO HER FOR THAT. I dropped this same class under 2 other professors. She is the ONE to take for probability and statistics. If you go to class and listen to her, you will no doubt do very well.

Eli lectures on the material then you do the homework and quizzes online. Tests are taken in class. Material moves quickly and you have to keep up. But, Eli is very available and responsive. Makes the material easier to understand. Very patient. Funny and easy going. Engages the students . I would highly recommend her!

She even had a study guide for her tests and the tests are exactly like the guides. Hws and quizzes are due before each test on my math lab. 3 tries on each quiz if you want to retake them.

If you struggle or don't like math, definitely take Mrs. Nettles. Mrs. Nettles makes notes so easy, goes over examples in class ,tells you exactly what is on the test, has good energy, and is helpful to students who struggle with math.

Eli was THE BEST teacher I have ever had. If you are taking statistics, TAKE HER!!! I made 105 in the class and could not have done that without her. Do the homeworks and quizzes when she tells you to, and you will pass. I hardly ever studied for this class and it was super easy. Not to mention, she is hilarious!

Great teacher! This was my first math class in college, first time taking math since 10th grade (14 years ago). It was awesome! Some reviews claim that she is an ''Easy A''. I beg to differ. I did, however, get an A, my homework, quizzes, test, final exam, all A's. That being said I also studied a lot! I would do my homework and quiz asap. Worth it

I am not the best at math but she always kept it interesting and broke things down to where I could easily understand it. She has great people skills and I even was able to tutor some of my classmates that missed classes because she lectures so well. If you get any other teacher you will regret it . I don't even go to NSCC but bc I heard that Eli was the best in town, I decided to give her a shot. She takes the time to actually teach students and she's makes us laugh while doing it. As long as you do the assigned homework (which genuinely helps) and study some for her quizzes, you can get an A. She also does extra credit if you score good on the online homework. There is no reason to take Statistics with anyone else but with Eli, as she prefers to be called. She is entertaining and keeps the class moving. Her expectations are very clear. She is more than willing to help if you need it. Put in the work and you will do beautifully. I wish she taught all of my classes.

Show up to class, BE ON TIME (this is big with her), and do your homework-you will be just fine! She is an incredible teacher, the best I've ever had. Professor Nettles created the online shell for stats. She is a good wealth of knowledge. She is passionate about teaching math. I am not a math person but Eli was awesome keeping us informed of due dates. She makes sure to thoroughly explain in her videos! This class was challenging but I enjoyed it

I had Nettles for a 2nd 7 week course. She made the class fun and engaging, and I was able to easily understand the content thanks to her detailed explanations. I will miss being apart of her course.

I love her so much. Her energy is great, her lectures are thorough and easy to follow along, she is very engaging and she is always excited to answer questions. I have never experienced a person so invested in their job in the best way. Seriously, if you get the chance to take a class taught by her, do yourself a favor and take it.

I took the 7-week summer course with Mrs. E and it was amazing! It is a lot of work, but if you are willing to spend the time on homework the class will be easy. Her lectures are very thorough and easy to follow. Wish i could take her class again
