Professor Nowline is an awesome professor! If you go to class and listen to her lectures you will pass this class. She really cares about her students and will go above and beyond to make sure you understand what she's talking about. I would definitely take her again!!! 4 tests total and one group project, lots of extra credit available.

I took Professor Nowlin for Business Law 2301. She is a great professor with your best interests at heart. She offers extra credit on tests and for class participation and attendance. Her tests are not difficult if you study the review she gives you. Tests are 50 questions with 10 true false and 40 multiple choice with 2 bonus questions.

Professor Nowlin is a wonderful teacher. She is always available to ask questions. There are 3 tests, 1 group project, 3 class activities you have to be in class for, a paper, and the final. She gives TONS of extra credit. Would definitely take her again!

Professor Nowlin is one of my favorite teachers here at Lone Star Montgomery. She is avaliable for help, gives tons of extra credit, is nice, and wants you to succeed. There are 3 test, a final, a group project with presentation. If you read the chapters and take good notes you will pass the class. I would recommend her to any business student.

Ok class. Teacher with a great heart, but I felt class was disorganized. I think the hurricane and the fact that students were never prepared played a part in that. I wish we could have gone over cool cases and then applied what was learned.

Overall good professor. A little hard to follow lectures at times, a bit disorganized. Pop quizzes were only one to two questions and over a good deal of material, and there were 10 of them. Attendance was necessary. Lots of extra credit, no homework, but tests were a bit hard to study for, not really sure what to expect.

I thoroughly enjoyed Professor Nowlin's class and would take any other class that she offers. There are pop quizzes that cover the assigned reading. The only homework you have is to read the textbook. The tests were very fair compared to what was discussed in class but it is not an easy A. If you show up and study the study guide you will pass.

She is a great professor with ability to simplify concept into simple diagrams. Care about the students, and were willing to give extra time to students for reviews before tests. The only minus is the slides for lecture, which only contain texts, but the way she presented by drawing diagrams on board was really helpful.

The class consisted of doing doing in class activities, which you get to work with other people with, and also tests. You also have a lot of opportunities to get extra credit. towards the end of the semester you get to do a business organization project as a group and present it to the class and u also have to do a paper. overall it's an easy class

Nowlin is definitely worth taking. The grading is clearly stated in the syllabus, the lectures aren't too heavy or long, and there is NO homework. It is not too hard to learn if you follow the review and she is always able to answer you anytime. Her exams were great :)) you will see some questions with free points and tbh that those questions are so funny haha. I'd love to take her again.

Professor Nowlin is a good professor overall! She is very reachable and will always answer questions. Read b/c pop quizzes come from the book. The only down side is that her grading isn't too fair as far as quizzes go. She'd base pop quizzes off information from each chapter that one usually wouldn't put too much emphasis in. I would take her again

I currently have finished all my classes at Lone Star and I can tell you she is one of the most amazing professors I've had so far. I learned so much about law and business. She kept it easy and simple for an easy A. WONDERFUL TEACHER.

Overall a great teacher. I would take her class again. I got a C, because I had a lot going on this semester and didn't follow along with the chapter readings. You need to read them to pass pop quizzes. There a many of them in her class. Do not miss class. Tests are pretty easy and she provides study guides that are easy to follow for tests.

Professor Nowlin wants people to pass her class! There's no secret quizzes or intense reading assignments. The textbook is helpful, but she's also very informative so if you attend class you may not need it. She's also very adaptable and understands we have lives besides that class.

Prof Nowlin class was great, I enjoyed her lectures on the law. The exams are tough. Study the review and know the material you'll do great. I would recommend taking this class for business law 2301

This was her 1st hybrid class-things were a little sporadic & a bit unorganized. Very caring teacher & always made sure the class had a voice in how it was structured. Her test reviews are very detailed & are extremely helpful when studying for the tests! Make sure to get the book & do the reading! Several pop quizes over the reading! Take her!

There is a quiz for every chapter we go through but honestly they help for the test she gives out. If you review your review you will pass just like any class. She did great picking up classes that were given to her as a late notice, could hardly tell. Highly recommend this professor. Gives extra credit. She is open for any ideas that class has.

Professor Nowlin, is an amazing professor, she doesn't lecture over any unnecessary topics and makes sure her students understand what is being taught. The book is mandatory because there are short quizzes over the reading chapters. Test reviews help a lot with the test. Study them and it will be an easy A.

She wasnt our original professor but stepped in and made sure everyone was good to go and resumed class to make sure everyone is up to date. She is really nice and listens

Her lectures are to the point but also she does visual aids to help you understand the subject even better. Read the chapters she assigns & do the course work!

Professor Nowlin is the BEST! I got a C because of ME. She literally gave me all the tools, she allowed me to sit in on one of her hybrid class which pulled me out of failing for missing assignment due dates. She is very easy to contact usually by text and you can tell she cares deeply about her students who want to help themselves.

What a fantastic professor! I was pushed by my advisor to take this class to get 6 hours in. I really had to WORK in this class. Because of the two winter storms & power outages, she extended some deadlines & then we had to catch up. She gives you a review for each chapter quiz that you have to complete & submit for a grade. She is very fair!

The grade I received was strictly my own fault. Professor Nowlin is amazing and very understanding. EVERYTHING in the course is very clear cut and she makes it very easy to succeed as long as you meet the deadline and do your work. She follows the syllabus to the T. Professor Nowlin is awesome!. She explains everything that she requires in detail, whether a test, paper, or essay. She gives feedback even if you have gotten an A. She is very easy to correspond with, answers emails quickly, and even gives out her cell phone number (that I hope most students would not use). Would definitely take her again!

There is a decent amount of writing, but also the assignments have real world application. She gives great feedback, even when I got 9/10 or 10/10. She is very kind and understanding. I took professor Nowlin for Business Law this summer and she was amazing! The class was short so there was a bit of work to do in 8 weeks, but as long as you keep up with it you should be fine. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities and encourages students to reach out to her for help. If you have the chance to take her course, do it.

I love her class! I enjoy learning about the subject. She is very encouraging and understanding. I encourage you to take this class if you like law and want to understand it better. If you have questions or need help with something she is quick to respond and you will have more than enough information.

She constantly posts on D2L with helpful hints on different subjects throughout the semester. The one problem I had was she thinks she explains assignments clearly, but does not take criticism well if a student thinks otherwise. Exams are multiple-choice, short-answer, and fill-in-the-blank. She gives extra credit questions and assignments too.
