This teacher was great!!! Had great powerpoints for classes, very helpful in breaking down ALL the info with A & P. She was always available if needed.You need to put in alot of study time as with any A&P class but she made sure you learned exactly what she was teaching, what you should be learning with this type of class or those going for RN.

I really enjoyed her class. She was intersting which made class pass quickly. Expects you to attend class but overall a very fair teacher.

I hadn't been back to school in years and was dreading taking this class, but it turned out to be pretty awesome. She was a great teacher, really cared about the students. If you have to take Bio123 I recommend her.

Absolutely loved Dr. Liz. Great P-points and lectures. She always asks if everyone understands if ready to move on. If you have questions, she either has the answer, or will look it up.Tests weren't extremely hard, if you studied, you did well. I would and have recommended her again!

Had her for Bio 123 and 244, she is so awesome, very helpful and is an expert on what she is teaching, takes all the time you need to explain concepts and make sure you understand. Super friendly, her tests were challenging but if you studied it wasn't too bad, you will come away learning alot!

I can not recommend her enough. seriously, if you have a chance to take a class with her DO IT! rearrange your schedule if you have to. I had absolutely no interest in bio, but because of her i saw how interesting it could be and i am now majoring in it. she has been so helpful past just the semester i had class with her. AMAZING teacher!

She is super nice and though you CAN NOT pass her class without REALLY studying the textbook, she bumped up my in between grade. I will never be able to repay her for that.

While this teacher is super nice & makes you enjoy class, her grading really sucks. Your grade really depends entirely on how well you do on lecture exams (phsyiology) & nothing else, which she failed to mentioned in the syllabus. The anatomy portion of the class takes the most time, yet you hardly get any credit for it. 100pt exams and 3pt labs?

I enjoyed Mrs. Ogrady's class. A&P is not an easy but she gave out outlines and her tests are directly from the notes.

Prof O knows biology. She uses examples that help you remember. There are a lot of tests but it was good because not a lot of material on each test.

Professor O'Grady is extremely smart and does what she can to make sure everyone understands the "big picture" before the details. A&P II is an intense and extremely difficult course, so if you don't have the time or motivation to dedicate to it, I wouldn't recommend it. It will consume your life for the semester but worth it in the end.

I didn't have Dr O for 244 but did for 245 and I enjoyed her class better. She was engaging and when I had questions she answered them. As I said I didn't have her for 244 and lab counted for way less in that class. I dont think she decides that. I agree, A&p isn't easy but she gives you what you need to do well.

This class was super hard but the teacher was upbeat. She gave out worksheets that were helpful. I would take another class from her.

I LOVED Dr. O'Grady for 245. She made you work, but was fair in her grading. She makes you think- it's not all memorization in 245. She was so helpful in explaining the material. You use your book A LOT. Going to class is essential.

Dr. O was one of the best instructors I have had at CLC. Yes, she pushes you in lecture but you'll be thankful when you're in the nursing program. If you go to class and study this class is not difficult.

She really understands biology, she majored in knowing bacteria molecules so she knows her stuff, very willing to help. You need to be prepared for each test knowing the whole concept of the chapter and why, do not need to know the technical terms, but need the basics down. Study for each test, they are all different.

This is my second time in bio123 and I would totally recommend her. My last teacher was sobering but she relates things so I get them.

Liz is a very resourceful instructor. She really knows her stuff and is more than willing to help. Her power points are great,she provides study guides for lab exams and the final lecture exam and what is on those guides are actually on the test. She does excellent reviews for exams and replies to emails quickly should you need extra help.

The class was online but we had labs in class and after that the prof held a discussion period. She is very helpful. I have always struggled in cellular bio, and I got an A--proof she is a great professor. There is plenty of place for extra credit and her online lectures are very useful. She works to help you get the best grade.

Hands down the best biology professor at CLC. Talks to you like you are an adult. Very very nice, and one of the most intelligent people I have ever met. I could talk to her for hours about everything.

Very excited and passionate about the subject. She gives many practical analogies and related extra information. The course (A+P II) is very difficult in nature, yet she does a wonderful job trying to convey the information and make as many connections to related information.

Liz was seriously the best teacher I've ever had! I've never enjoyed a science class as much as this one. She's super helpful and extremely intelligent. Her lectures are not boring at all, and I've taken a lot out of this class. Material can be confusing but she does her best to clarify everything. Highly recommend her!!

I loved Dr. Liz! It was a hybrid class so all lectures were online and we just had to attend lab. She was very accommodating when I had to miss a week. She let me make up lab with another professor. All grades are posted to blackboard in a timely manner. Must study to get a good grade, but I barely opened the book. Her lectures had all info needed.

She gives 4 tests with study guides and a cumulative exam at the end of the semester jst like any other class. She is great at returning emails. This professor gives some of the best lectures in the business. I learned so much. And for all those who say she's gives too much work, ITS COLLEGE!! I studied about 20 hour a week for this class and got an A. She's a role model of what a professor should be, she actually CARES about what students go though. Do hard work because she works hard!

Liz O' Grady was by far one of the best teachers/professors I have ever had. She expects you to pay attention in class, listen to lab explanations BEFORE labs, and to put in the time. If you ever have any questions she makes herself available for you whether it is through email or open labs so you can get more info if you need, or office hours.

Dr. Grady is a very good professor. She cares for her students and is very enthusiastic about A&P II. She assigns online hw for 10 points based off of lecture, she gives 10 points e.c for completing all four Study guides. She breaks down the material easily so that it is not unbearable. Take advantage of her office hours if you don't understand.

Dr. Liz makes bio clear and easy to understand. There are 5 tests but only cover 2 ch at a time. She gives weekly lab quizzes that are 15 min but 10 questions. She tells you what's important in class. She explains the material so everyone can understand and very willing to help students

Dr. O is very willing to help students. She asks if you have questions and is willing to explain multiple times. Puts her lectures and notes online.

Liz is the absolute best! She's so sweet and caring and really takes interest in her teachings and her students. If you see bad reviews about her, dont even listen to them. If you go to class, pay attention and do the work, you will be fine. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

Elizabeth was a TOUGH professor, but I did learn a lot from her. She pushes you to think for yourself. I liked that the lectures were online, so you could go back and listen to them over, and also watch the labs prior to going to class. The study guides were NOT helpful, so I would end up spending hours creating my own from the vague outline.

You can tell she's so passionate about it and has no problem going over one subject over and over again if you need better explanation. Her tests are a little difficult, but she gives you EVERYTHING you need to be successful. I would recommend her to everyone.

This class is a lot of work. Dr. O'Grady goes above and beyond to provide her students with the materials they need to learn and study. She makes sure to teach concepts multiple ways to adjust for different learning styles. Keep up with the work and study regularly and you should not have a problem. I loved this class, but it was a lot of work.

I was in the hybrid class meaning my lectures were online but there was still an in class lab. Decent amount of homework, but Liz clearly breaks it up into easy to read charts in the syllabus so it's manageable. She is fantastic at explaining things different ways and is extremely willing to talk outside of class if you need additional help. 10/10

She is a very expressive teacher and gets excited when teaching. Although she answers a lot of questions during class, I do feel like we move off track a lot. The study guides are not helpful (for me at least). She hardly assigns homework or extra credit which is really disappointing, since not everyone tests well.

Want someone to really get you excited about biology? Take O'Grady and you will not be disappointed. Her class does not offer much extra credit, but she is really good at making her expectations known right from the beginning. You know from the first class that you need to do well on the exams and lab practicals to pass.

I would highly recommend her. She is a visual learner and will draw a bunch of things for students to get a better understanding rather than just rambling on. It is recommended that you not skip lab as those days are super important for being only once a week. Liz will not give you an easy grade at the end of the day you need to work for it.

OGrady is very passionate about biology which makes her class enjoyable, even if bio isnt your thing. I took her summer course which was a little hard to do the labs online, but she did accommodate significantly. Her lab videos are hilarious because she spends the time messing around. Shes one of the most helpful teachers I had at CLC

Professor O'grady was very understanding and met with me when I had questions. She is very flexible and responds quickly to emails. She even met with me at 9pm because of my crazy schedule. Tests were difficult, but lectures really go in depth so you won't be blindsided. You can tell she really loves what she teaches.

She was very helpful and kind. I liked how she explained things. The tests were hard but if you fill in the notes and use the extra credit sheets it helps.

I had to study a lot for this class. She was really great at answering my questions and she really knew her stuff. I had zoom lecture which I didn't like.I learned better from her when we met in class. SHe was also available to meet later at night which was helpful for those of us that work. I felt she cared about how well I did.

Had to retake bio123 taught well and was helpful compared to my other professor. Provides extra credit for each chapter, and study guides for each lab and lecture exam. During lectures, she thoroughly goes into detail about what most students struggle with. Will have to write a lab paper, but not too difficult.

O'Grady's BIO123 is challenging but rewarding. She teaches concepts in multiple ways and is incredibly helpful outside of class. unstuck AI and the textbook are great study aids. Overall, a tough but worthwhile class.

She is a very caring instructor. She responds to my emails quickly and our online course is organized and you know what she expects. There are A LOT of exams and a lot of homework. Each chapter has its own study guide and she gives a list of words you can use on the lab exams which helped. I would recommend her if you have to take 111.

Liz is an extremely caring professor, she always made sure to reiterate that she was available if we had any questions or needed help with any of the material. Some of the material can be a bit difficult but her lectures and chapter assignments really help you learns and understand. She also has an extra credit assignment for every chapter.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HER, she's such a sweetheart and is amazing at explaining, the only reason to why I got a C in this class was because I was too worried about chem. lecture exams are exactly what she teaches and there is a study guide+ extra credit chapter with every test that you can also study off of. study well and show up to labs.

Dr. O'Grady was a great professor. Her lectures were interesting and made the time fly by fast. If you do the homework and read the material you're guaranteed to do well in her class. This class is mostly for future healthcare workers so there are challenging concepts but if you pay attention, Dr. O'Grady makes them easy to understand.

I took Dr. O's blended class. Lectures online were helpful and during lecture she would go over some of the harder stuff. I listened to the lectures and used her fill in notes. Study those and go to lecture and you'll do fine. The lab exams were hard. She goes over the lab models but it seems like too much in the lab.

Liz is the best. She lets students know the first class on what points are available Her tests are hard and She doesn't give cheat sheets. She met with me on zoom when I wasn't able to get to school and was always asking us to ask questions and said they were good questions. If you go to class and study you will do well.

Liz was awesome. I've read some of the comments and I don't feel like I took the same class. There were no pop quizzes and I never felt like she made me feel bad when I asked questions. She was worried how we'd do on an exam so she moved it online. Literally one of the BEST instructors I've had.
