Professor Oness is very knowledgeable and wants her students to do well. She gave quizzes after every reading section in Eng 111, make sure you read and they are easy points. The papers were also difficult, but she had us revise with peers and turn them in again for a better grade. Overall, pretty good!

For a 400 level course, this class was very personalized, which was great to have. Dr. Oness focused on our future careers during this class and assigned work to help us grow with those future plans in mind. Her feedback is helpful and she always makes the class engaging. She has some pop quizzes, but they aren't hard if you do the readings before.

Dr. Oness is very caring about her students, and this class was pretty easy because of it. There were little quizzes every day, but they were really easy as long as you read the books, which were interesting. We had 3 tests/papers and they were pretty easy with loose restrictions.

Dr. Oness is an awesome professor and clearly wants her students to succeed in this class. She also has a lot of knowledge for students that are interested in potentially publising their stories in the future due to her experience with publishing a few of her own novels and short story collections. Dr. Oness' feedback on stories is very helpful!
